1841  Economy / Gambling / Re: Professional Roadbike Cycling on: September 19, 2022, 08:13:21 PM
Personally, I love Road bike cycling, just the same way I love car race, and would also love it if there is a place to discuss the game here on bitcointalk.
But I highly doubt they are many that will be or are interested in this niche/form of sports, and I also have not noticed any casino where this form of sports is included in the list of games gamblers could bet on.
I am also very interested to know what the community thinks, looking forward to comments on this thread.

I also have not stumbled or there is a casino I know that included road bike cycling in sports betting I also love to go road bike, especially on weekends and we used to have a national cycling event in our city, but its a good idea if there is a country where there is a weekly cycling event or tournaments where casinos can pick up and make betting on it, cycling is very popular on many countries like horse racing and I believe it should be added also on sports events.
I think if there will be a lot of interested participants and there will be high demand coming from the people, then expect that it will also be introduced soon in the casinos. Road bike cycling has always been fun and could be a healthy sports, so if it will be listed in sports betting, I guess the one with those high experience and professional road bikers will definitely start to be in profits, seeing it will be more of skilled game than luck.
1842  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Crazy Fun Facts About Casinos And Gambling You Might Not Know. on: September 19, 2022, 07:58:05 PM
For some reason, this story seems to me to be dubious.  Of course, it is impossible that a person holding such a high position and, accordingly, having vast experience in management and knowing all the pitfalls of gambling, would seriously risk the capital necessary to save a huge company.  I think this story is just another publicity tale.  Moreover, everything you learn from Las Vegas is literally all riddled with exaggeration of facts and the size of luck.
This is what the world gambling center itself is built on.
I also sense the same thing. Because it’s definitely hard to believe the story of FedEx owner, that gambling is the answer of his near downfall. Knowing gambling, it’s more than losses and regrets in the end than profiting from it. But let’s say that he’s just extra lucky when he decided to gamble, he might be gaining exceptional profits but for sure, he also made a lot of losses before that.
1843  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: September 19, 2022, 07:32:44 PM
Becoming a professional poker player is in fact very similar to becoming a professional trader, it is important to learn the skills necessary to profit from the activity but it is also very important to learn money management skills, and we know this is the case because there have been many cases of poker players that have an amazing ability to play the game but which they do not know how to manage their money effectively, and this means that their poker skill level becomes irrelevant and they also become long term losers.
Both are almost the same as professional poker players and professional traders are required to learn more from others, but the subject matters set them apart. But both must have good self-control so that they don't get out of line and still be able to play poker or trade well. And I agree that money management is also very important for every gambler because this will determine how much money they will use to gamble.
Both require knowledge and good analysis, but the fact that poker games are still luck based, no matter how skilled you are or how good in money management, there are always more visible inevitable losses for professional poker players than in professional traders. Because as long as it’s gambling that is a gamble of chance and luck, even professional poker players are still subject for losses.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 19, 2022, 07:13:31 PM
I do not think that the increase in abuse is in any way related to the rate of cryptocurrency. In the last couple of years there are a lot of new crypto-enthusiasts who share possible cryptocurrency earnings with newbies in Youtube and other channels. This is most likely their business.

None of the game strategies can give you a guarantee in a permanent income from casino games. The same can be said about bonuses and promotions. No matter how hard you try - even by abusing the casino rules you won't be able to bankrupt the casino, as the algorithms work according to predefined parameters and will not allow you to win more than the casino earns.

Agree on factors, but disagree on abuse. If the casino security system is weak and allows you to use bonuses from fake accounts, then making a profit in this case is a purely technical procedure that is accessible even to a student. That is why casinos introduce such insane requirements for bonuses as 20x wagering or something like that.
In the end, even if there are bonuses abuse visible in gambling casinos, the gambling operators have seen it coming and prepared for it, the reason why the house still always wins over the players or gamblers. And if we talk about bonus abuse, the casinos are still profiting from it through their high wages, so casinos have never been taken advantage on the first place, but maybe the players are unintentionally.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an electronic currency, can it be use for bet gambling on: September 19, 2022, 06:58:18 PM
Bitcoin is quite common for use on sport betting platforms.
There are so many casino games out there which use Bitcoin as well as some other cryptos to facilitate bets.

Head over to the gambling section and you will find a number of such platforms there.
Bitcoin has been used already in sports betting, and if you are a gambling fanatic, you will discover that gamblers has been using it for long not just in sports betting but in other gambling games as well. Though most of them are still paid in fiat, but if you try to visit in most of casinos, they are actually accepting bitcoin for sports betting.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 18, 2022, 08:53:23 PM
I think this is an issues that has been around for some time and I’m not sure all the new legal gambling in places like the United States really is making a big difference in the rise or mobile gambling. I think it comes down to parents doing a better job raising their children and teaching them about the dangers of excessive gambling and doing a better job monitoring them.
Well, good training should always starts at home and that parents are obliged in providing it. However, with the high technology we have at the present and that smartphones have become very affordable and accessible these days, we cannot blame for the rise of mobile gambling as this is one of negative effects brought by new technologies. I guess self discipline is the only way not to fall deeply in mobile gambling addiction.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to choose an online casino? on: September 18, 2022, 08:14:20 PM
I've been playing online casino slot machines for a while now, and I'm looking for advice on which ones are the best. I like to play the ones with lots of different payouts and bonuses, but sometimes the games take a long time to load. Do you have any suggestions for me?
It is easy to find because this forum contains a lot of online casinos that can give you pleasure.
You just have to look through the list of casinos on this forum and then try registering with them one by one but don't deposit a number first
Take a closer look at the casino and how you will feel.
If you think you have found the casino you want, you can start depositing some money but not too much because the money is to test to what extent the casino can give you something you want.
If you can start looking for it now, I think you will find it in no time because there are so many trusted and reputable casinos on this forum.
Always have your own time to DYOR and read the forum thoroughly as a lot of trusted and reputable casinos are already listed here. And do not forget to read the reviews of the players as they can be helpful too as long as they are not manipulated by casino operators. And if you are looking for more bonuses and easy pay outs, always know that bonuses have also their certain limited time too as any casino could end up in bankruptcy if there are endless bonuses and give aways.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 18, 2022, 07:54:05 PM
Have you ever had an experience betting in which you knew that you were going over the limits of you finances and still continued? I have one playing a game, it was absorbing plenty of my time and despite me knowing it, I was kind of hooked on it. It was not a financial problem, but left me wondering how easy is to actually fall into a bad habit and how difficult is to break it.
Being a long term gambler, of course I had experienced betting more than my allocated amount and the effect is definitely bad. I ended up wasting my time and money. But honestly, after that certain event, I realized that gambling more than your budget will never bring any good at all. Gambling is good, but as soon as you see yourself being closely attached to gambling that it’s hard for you to stop from doing it anymore, then start taking steps or ask help to stay away from gambling or refrain from gambling.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 18, 2022, 07:35:14 PM
Let's be honest, money laundering is the best thing that can happen to a casino and there is where most of high rollers comes from. I have seen some rollers in the past that runs some huge scams and then go to the casinos to play with the scammed money and with that justify where they get the money from after hitting some huge wins.

Nowadays most casinos has KYC, but i don't think that is enough to stop the money laundering, what casinos should do is to investigate the source of the deposits to fight against this illegal activity, but that will not happen because is a win-win game from them.

So, what do you say, does crypto casinos really care about money laundering?
Of course they care but what they care the most are the profits that they will gained from their players. Building casinos are big time businesses, so if there are high rollers coming in, that means huge profits for the casinos. Although there may be some suspicious acts particularly for high bettors, but KYC is never enough to trace illegal money transactions. There should be high surveillance placed in casinos so that people involved in money laundering will be easily caught and arrested.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you being secretive about your gambling activity? on: September 18, 2022, 07:14:59 PM
Are you hiding your gambling activity from your loved ones, family or so?
Or are you being 100% open about gambling?

 Huh
If that is giving me decent amount of profits, I guess there’s no reason I will hide it. To be honest, I even pay bills sometimes using profits from gambling so definitely, it’s not a secret anymore from my wife or my parents. However, when it comes to my children, I guess they know already I am into gambling and it’s never an issue. Right now, their focus is their studies first before thinking of making their own income.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 18, 2022, 06:55:31 PM
In order to understand the psychology of gamblers, i have decided to come up few questions for discussions, and here is the first one.

Suppose that you are a responsible gambler who have allocated a certain portion of money to gamble each month. Now you came across a poor person/family who is in urgent need of money. Will you quit the gambling for that month and give the allocated money to the poor family or will you prefer to gamble as you can't live without gambling ?

I guess this won’t be hard to decide as I am a responsible gambler, and quitting gambling for that certain month is not a big issue. Unless if am a compulsive gambler, that would be very hard to decide as I would surely pursue trying my luck in gambling, and just helping the poor when I have already made good amount of profits.
1852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need some advice on: September 17, 2022, 11:34:07 PM
You're really unlikely to earn money unless you figure out a strategy to outplay the pump and dumpers. In the first place, no one in the right mind would give out free information if he/she is actually good at his/her craft.

Chances are, it's probably just a typical pump and dump group(or a trading group that would soon ask you for "premium" membership), and that you've lucked out a few times.
This might be another type of scam in the end so just stay away from it before you lose your money. In trading, what we need are strategies and skills so we can end up making successful trades and become profitable. Now, if you keep on asking for free trading signals, that won’t help you to be a good trader in the making. Instead, it will only give you more possible reasons that you might be easily get scammed or you won’t be seeing yourself growing in this kind of trading industry.
1853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Spend your valuable times and get valuable knowledge on: September 17, 2022, 11:13:17 PM
It's my opinion that if anyone give more time in this forum then he/she easily go up. He/she can easily get all types of information from here. I personally like this forum because i get all types of knowledge here. Different different sec section have different information. As a Newbie i want to spend more and more time in this forum to gain more and more information for my intelligence.

Now i want to get more and more information how to improve my poor English writing /speaking  Embarrassed
Bitcointalk forum is certainly a place to gain knowledge and skills. And the more you devote your precious time in here, the bigger the opportunities you will start to take advantage and be profitable in the end. However, while your concern OP is to improve your poor performance in English, then I think this forum can help you but always explore first the English vocabulary that is freely available in the internet.
1854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people doing except holding Bitcoin? on: September 17, 2022, 08:55:30 PM
I know a friend who invested his profits from Bitcoin to get an MBA from a good B School. I know people who came out of poverty with the help of Bitcoin. I saw here people who saved villages with what they earned from Bitcoin. So yes while people are hodling Bitcoin. They are doing much more.
I guess long term hodling of bitcoin is still the most basic and probably the most profitable too. One can actually get out from poverty if he is capable of managing his investment in bitcoin. And while most are into long term hodling, others are also diversifying their portfolio through selling some of their bitcoin and use to finance other investments like gold or real estate. That way, multi sources of profits will be more visible in the future.
1855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Purchased at $23,500, when should I start to panic? When should I average down? on: September 17, 2022, 08:23:31 PM
I think I made a mistake buying at $23,500 (obviously), so when should I really start to panic now that we dropped to $18K?

At what price point now should I consider to add more to average in at? Like, if you owned a bitcoin at $23,500, would you wait for $10K or 15K to start adding more to average in your high price of $23,500?

Either you are new to this Crypto industry or really impatient dude.
I mean what’s the use of panicking? It’s normal Bitcoins to fall in it’s price. If you don’t know how the market works then better you should avoid money investments.
You are fearing and that too when you have BTC in your wallet. Just do a quick search on the internet about the marketcap of Bitcoins. That is enough to prove Bitcoin’s power my friend.
Just don’t panic always. Hold the coins for at least a month and then see the profits.
Obviously, OP is not really much aware about the high volatility of bitcoin. One day, you’ll see it’s moving up, the next day you’ll be surprised it’s now falling down. So never expect for bitcoin price to stay on top all the time. And I don’t think resorting into panicking will ever help you, it will only make you develop more fears and doubts on bitcoin. Instead, learn to be more patient and hold more, and in case bitcoin price drops more, just focus on buying so you can reap huge profits when bullish season comes.
1856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 16, 2022, 09:53:10 PM
There are always risks no matter how potentials those investments are. So to lessen the risk, it will be a lot better to find a stable source of living and then invest in cryptocurrencies for additional income. Remember that investments do not always create profits especially if there are factors that trigger it. So one should always have various options when it comes to sources of profits.
Yes thats what I also meant. Its like some people are viewing crypto as a rich scheme getaway but thats not that easy to do actually. We should see that there are many who losses a lot here and worse some are even taking suicides knowing that their investment shattered by some of their invested assets. Best example is Luna, whereas a lot of people commit those crazy suicides.
Probably, if those victims of Luna have DYOR thoroughly before investing and did not completely rely on crypto for income, then they would never end up commiting suicides. The problem is once it is set in your mind that crypto can be a source of quick profits, then you start taking all in without hesitation that this investment could go wrong in the end.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: September 16, 2022, 09:25:56 PM
I'm happy what the team did to continue to pump Luna classic, I'm sure this is the beginning of the next pump, there will be the next pump to make Luna enter the top 10 ranking, based on data they have a large bitcoin stock so it will be easy to make Luna survive and skyrocketed again.
Team is most responsible for setting Luna on the path to destruction. They could have saved their platform from destruction if they had wished. But they are trying now instead of trying then. Not sure how long they will be pumping. At any time Luna market can be dumping. Those who have enough profit can consider holding more.
Well, any coin can be seen pumping at the moment and end up dumping in the end. That's mostly happening in the crypto space, but as a friendly reminder, expect that a single coin will never move up the whole time as there will be chances of dropping its price especially when the market uncertainties are seen. If the coin has huge potentials, it will always sustain its pump regardless of the market events.
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: September 15, 2022, 09:59:29 PM
It is obvious Bitcoin establishes us all huge economic freedom. I am sure why Lebanon didn't let that woman to use her money. They are in deep financial crisis. Bitcoin is always unaffected if you have cold wallet around your fingertips and smartphone (or PC). That's main reason I love Bitcoin. It gives us, people from mediocre countries, opportunity to secure our wealth in very secure and accessible digital place out there.
Whatever the reason of the bank is, it’s not still proper not to grant the request of the depositor as its her own money so she has all the right to decide what to do on it. Well, if it’s bitcoin, of course we will no longer face problems like this as we are always entitled to control our funds completely, without the intervention of the government or the banks. But I must admit what the woman did is also not proper no matter how bad her situation is.
1859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: September 15, 2022, 09:40:41 PM
Buying from the dip is a big opportunity,  I won't regret buying before the dip because I know cryptocurrency can't be predicted,  no one knows what the market will look like in the future. It is not certain that at every price a coin is bought it will always come out with a reasonable amount of profit.

The price is indeed able to go up or down, there is no guesswork in Crypto just fundamentals.
Making a profit is all about identifying the highest probability setups and waiting for further confirmation,
and we should  also know about risk management
The reality is we are in a bear market now but only the failure will they remember, the opportunities are always forgotten
True, we are now experiencing a bear market and this is the best opportunity to buy at its very cheap price. However, if you have happened to buy before bearish season, I guess that won’t be a problem as you are buying the right coins to invest, most particularly if it’s bitcoin. After all, all the coins have their own time recover and increase their value. We just need more patience to see them surging again.

1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 12, 2022, 09:10:54 PM
I really doubt that there is any need to panic. Although for the time being, getting your funds out of stake.com would probably be a very smart bet. There are other good online gambling casinos to play on during this whole fiasco.

Although that being said, I think anyone can sue anyone for anything and demand any kind of sum. That does not make it a fact that stake.com has already lost. In fact, this could and probably might turn out to be complete hot air. Or as some people would say, a "nothing burger".

400 Million in damages in nothing to scoff at. Depending on the outcome of the lawsuit and the current financial stake of stake.com, things might go downhill really fast. Anyway, personally I will keep away and wait to see what happens.
The reputation of stake.com is now starting to be compromised because regardless of the outcome of lawsuit, people will already have their advanced thinking about this casino like putting their funds here will not be safe at all. Although I believed that long time users of stake.com might still be sticking on it but newbies will definitely develop fear about this case.
