Shipping is 550$ for 2 units in the USA. I assume it's the same for Canada too.

O_O 550 dollar shipping?Huh
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.0 Automated Transactions on: January 15, 2015, 07:17:47 PM
Curiously, if you have more then one drive, I know you aren't supposed to overlap nonces, but can you start the next drive wherever you want it to be or does it have to be sequential so the next nonce is right after the first one without any skips in between?

Like if I have 0-50000, does the next drive need to start at 50001-100000 or can I just start it at 100000 (hypothetical numbers)?

it DOES NOT have to be sequential. I usually add a zero. Wink
1883  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Brand New Spondoolies SP20 - $490 shipped, AntMiner S5 - $385 shipped on: January 15, 2015, 04:42:05 PM
I'll take I think either 1 SP20 and 1 S5 or 2 S5's

do you have PSU's for them? (I guess I'll read the whole OP, lol.)

I would like to pay via paypal seeing the price of BTC... do you have an escrow for paypal?

We're stuck in a holding pattern and watching these threads is like seeing an accident, you can't just not look. We'll know when we know but if you have not written this off by now you really should. Operate as if this is gone, a sunk cost. If it comes back then hooray bonus!

That's exactly it, I'm moving on, taking this as a loss, but if for some reason it does come back, that's great!
1885  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2X Antminer S3 (Upgraded) 4x Fans, AND A CX600 CORSAIR PSU on: January 14, 2015, 08:07:07 PM
Nice! I sent Crowetic a PM last night as I had to bow out. Hope all goes well for all involved.

Apologies for holding up the show... really wanted the machines. Good deal.

Indeed, thank you for doing that as well, I'll be paying for them later on once a bank deposit clears.

We have become a joke to him at this point.

agreed.

Hi, where are those miners located?

Alexandria, VA.

Believe that I am going to back out of the sale. I mentioned this via PM to the seller. I'd encourage anyone looking for good gear to get in touch with him ASAP. Believe he is willing and able to ship the machines today (Weds)

The reason it is falling through is my fault. This was going to be a local pickup - we have snow / ice / sleet incoming and I cannot be sure I can make it out to pickup the gear. Before you call me names, I've a RWD and zero clearance, it isn't for snow, at all.

GOOD LUCK! Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow and who knows. But at this point I believe it right to call - fair game on quality kit from a solid seller. I know there is interest - get to it. Before I change my mind.

Apologies for holding up the show.

No problem. Good luck to you!

Alright folks. Miners are still up for grabs. One is hashing away while I type this.

I'll take them both.

burst pump scam

I don't think it's a "burst pump scam" because there is no pump... also no one in the burst team is involved in this... this is Koko by himself.

I just think it's going to do nothing but hurt BURST and BURST price, based on the way he's planning on putting it into action, unless I'm missing a BIG part of the equation here... I just don't see how this is anything but bad for BURST.

I can honestly say that I don't get this, at all, and it looks like it will do nothing but destroy BURST's price.

Hope that I'm wrong.

1897  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: BUYING - i7 processor for 2011 socket, six core+ in the USA. on: January 13, 2015, 07:05:43 PM
How about an 18 core Smiley 2011-3 socket ..  e5 2699 v3

it ain't cheap...  around 2900$

lol, no thanks. For one, that isn't the right socket, and for two, I would love to have that processor, but I would probably need another 5 thousand dollars in hardware to build a rig around it. Which I'm not quite ready to do yet. Thanks though!

I will be furthering my physical mining hardware/ventures, and moving away from cloud. Possibly starting a BURST cloud as well

 Huh  Cheesy

Glad I could amuse you? lol.

There are several stages of grief, I think most of you need to move on now to the final stage which is acceptance. You need to accept that LTC Gear is dead and your investment lost, now you have 2 choices, accept the loss and move on as this is Crypto the land of scams or file a complaint with your Federal Authorities and you may see Chris face the music, you will however probably never see your money.

I for one will just move on as I have accepted that this investment is lost, I am lucky though as I have my ROI so all I have lost is opportunity nothing else.

How fortunate for you, unfortunately for me, I had just given 5 more BTC to LTCgear about a week before my last payout happened on the 19th of December. I think my overall losses for this little snafu is pushing 5 thousand USD. Something like that. Not to mention it ruined multiple assets that I'm involved in in the BURST and NXT markets...

But, alas, you're right. Time to move on.

I will be furthering my physical mining hardware/ventures, and moving away from cloud. Possibly starting a BURST cloud as well, which will have video and picture proof, to avoid this whole situation. Not to mention I'm easy to find online, and I'm upfront and honest, so it should be fairly easy once I figure out pricing structure.

edit: I already posted about 3 days ago on the BURST ann, telling everyone that two of the largest BURST assets (one of which was started by my Enterprise) are gone due to LTCgear's collapse.

it sucks, but it is what it is, we move on, or we let it take us down. I for one, will move on.
