1901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 09, 2022, 08:58:29 PM
You say most of the gambling websites are scam just because the edge is on the sites' side which is true.
But that doesn't mean that they are scam because it is a business. It is how gambling sites work.
We tend to lose money because the edge is on the casino site's side and it is logical for them to win in the long run.
These gambling websites are just meant for fun and not a way to earn. So you can't really say that they are a scam.
Yes, there are some gambling sites which are meant for scamming others by locking the deposits etc... and that's a separate thing.
Once you gamble, expect that you will lose more, bigger from the amount you might won. So never conclude that you have been scammed because you lose a huge amount instantly. It’s just that you are not good enough that day and your luck is not working, so losing is all you’ve got. And to think that the site’s house should always win because it’s a business, then you can never tell that this is a big scam. I guess you need to understand gambling more before you engage in it to avoid future regrets.
1902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 09, 2022, 08:45:17 PM
I think people who have dignity or a college degree will gamble in an isolated place in the sense that they will look at their surroundings before they gamble. but like everyone else they sometimes neglect reputation in order to be able to get entertainment in their spare time and this tends not to be a big problem for someone who has a good reputation in the community. I have met many people like this, even among them there are those who like to chat with their students at the same time they are playing gambling.
Gone are the days where gambling is said to cause damage to your reputation. Almost everyone now is already engaged in gambling, some are just good enough to secretly gamble on their own. Especially that online gambling is now more popular, then we can do gambling secretly without the awareness of other people. So for me, gambling won’t be a big issue at all even if you own the highest position in a university, provided that you never let your students see you are in gambling.
1903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 08, 2022, 10:27:56 PM
It's easy, you don't have to start all over it. Being a gamer, you understand logic already that you can see in the casinos, so, don't stop yourself if you want to try to gamble, just do it.
There's no difference of motivation and mindset from being a gamer and a gambler, all you have to think is the same and that's to become stronger and for you to win, none other than that.
Mostly, a good gamer will also likely to be a profitable gambler. Although there's no guaranteed profits in gambling, but if you have skills in different games, then most likely your chances of losing is less. Just keep learning new strategies in every game because that will make you a pro in gambling. However, always gamble on an amount you can afford to lose to avoid future regrets. That way, your funds will never be in danger.
1904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I helped my dad bought some Bitcoin last night on: October 08, 2022, 09:54:23 PM
Congrats to you and to your dad for having his first ever purchase of bitcoin. Now, since you're able to educate him and it's likely that he's just going to hold it.

I reckon what Little Mouse said that it's now time for him to introduce to those wallets where he's the one holding the private keys. Little by little, a progress like that will make him more aware of how it goes and how to keep his bitcoins safe.
You did a great job OP, by helping your father finally bought bitcoin on his own will. Somehow, I feel your father’s investments will always be secured because you are there for him to guide and remind him that bitcoin is a risky investment, so one should never do such things that will trigger the lost of his bitcoin. Well, continue to educate your father OP so he won’t fall in future scams as bitcoin will never run out of scammers just waiting around the corner. And definitely, not your keys, not your coins. Hope you’ll always remind him of that.
1905  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My crypto/Bitcoin advice. on: October 08, 2022, 09:37:17 PM
A long-term goal that will last a lifetime? OP, how many years of life have you measured for yourself? How many years to wait?
And why do you judge what is right or wrong? Everyone has the right to think as he pleases. For some, bitcoin is money, someone is ready to invest in it, and someone is not ready to wait a lifetime.
I prefer a quiet investment, without fanaticism, and without denying my own work, from which I allocate some interest to invest in bitcoin.
Again, I am not rejecting the study of bitcoin, but I am not suggesting that it be celebrated as the center of the universe on which my entire life may depend.
Do you want to refute it?
Bitcoin could be a very useful investment today and in the future, but that won’t guarantee profits all the time so we should not completely depend on it as it could be a very risky and dangerous decision. And just so you know OP, it’s hard to last long in crypto market if you are like marrying your bitcoin the whole time. Bitcoin is only an investment, it might make us profitable or not in the future, the reason why we should not depend on it completely and find additional means that will also give us stable source of income not only to survive, but also to avoid us experiencing financial breakdown when bitcoin is not productive anymore.
1906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with a business mindset on: October 08, 2022, 09:15:14 PM
That's why learning to control your emotions is the top priority list in trading, even in everything you do in your life. Emotion is very tricky, you can be easily manipulated by your own emotions if you don't know how to control it. There's a monk saying that "mind is power" therefore it should be separated on your body, but not literally, lol.

This means that your mind is the master of all the things you'll do, but you must have the power to command it, not the other way around. For example, a bad trade after hours or days of making a good technical analysis could result to a huge frustration and disappointment, your mind will probably tell you to quit or enter a trade without any plan, that's danger right there.

So if you know how to control it, the right thing you'll do is to rest, plan again, and trade again.
As much as possible, never be emotional whatever the outcome of your trades, most particularly if it comes with losses as you will never be successful in trading if you keep chasing your losses. However, losing in trading is a normal thing but if you keep losing in all your trades, then you should start to be worried. Maybe because you are still using your own useless strategy, or maybe your attitude does not fit in trading. So be more flexible and always gain a lot of patience every time you enter into investments or trading activities.
1907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's Price be affected by this? on: October 08, 2022, 08:59:21 PM
How does it relate in the first place for Bitcoin? I think it's out of the question between the deal of Musk to Twitter, it doesn't have to do with it. I think Dogecoin was more related to this discussion since it pump a little when Elon agrees again to buy Twitter (funny how people associate this kind of stuff). Unless he's back again with the sarcastic tweets involving Bitcoin.
Precisely, it’s not bitcoin that will pump nor dump but it’s definitely dogecoin which is Elon’s used to hype. Bitcoin was never affected with the last news about this Elon’s interest on twitter so I don’t think it’s price will be affected today. And besides, Elon was never became relevant to bitcoin, but definitely he’s more on meme coins that turned out into shitcoins at the end of the day.
1908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to calculate how much the price of BTC? on: October 07, 2022, 10:55:47 PM
Mathematics fails where Bitcoin is. Because you can't do that even a supercomputer can't calculate at all. It's like we can't forecast our future, Bitcoin price totally depends on supply and demand. We don't know if big investors leave Bitcoin near future which would dump or we don't know if we will get new big investors which would pump a couple of x Bitcoin prices. So forget about price calculation. If you are a risk taker then accumulate.
Bitcoin will never be certain, as it may be bearish today but the next day it will start to be bullish, so no one gets to calculate its price right. And there may be big news in the future that will bring big changes in the market positively, or the other way around, bitcoin will always have negative news coming in that will make its price to fall even more. So everything is very unpredictable with bitcoin, even if you see yourself as an expert to it, you would still fail how to predict its market price movement and its future price 5-10 years from now.
1909  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lesson I learnt the hardest way ( rigorously for newbies ) on: October 07, 2022, 10:38:36 PM
There is 95% possibilities that you won't end up with your first love, it happened to me and I am sure it has happened to millions of people out there ( thinking no one will ever be like her) we always fell in love with our first loves but we ended up with another.

The fact is we had no experience at a very young age, we haven't been with two or more people ( can't tell the difference) before deciding to settle down with one, this is the same case with crypto investment.

As a crypto newbie the first time you invest in crypto coins it's easy to build this type of commitment with your coins ( hard to let go ) and that's when you will be seeing Hodl Hodl Hodl news and advices here and there.

The point of my post is never ever get married to your coins, I have made this mistake as a newbie in my past years and I have learnt that there are many differences between a project and another.

Invest only what you can afford to lose.

Be willing to switch to another coin if your present one goes silent, no update or no constant development, no crime in this.

Lastly, treat coins as an investment not as your wife.

If you want to balance your investment and your personal life, then be more flexible and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Investments are very essential these days but if you can’t manage your investments well, you will bound to lose everything you have. And if you start seeing your investments are not working anymore, then don’t bother to sell and find another one that is worth your money and time.
1910  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 07, 2022, 10:18:32 PM
Hello Everyone,

I am not speaking about just Bitcoin. I am speaking about every cryptocurrency / token.  Regardless of crypto price fluctuations, many online and offline stores are ready to accept crypto as payment. So How will willing are you to spend crypto for your purchases?

If one doesn't spend their crypto for purchases and wait for to spend their crypto when its price is nice, are they really considering it as a cryptocurrency or can we assume like those people are treating more like a security or investment instrument?

It depends. Either it’s for investment or as a daily currency, no one would want to spend if the current value is also low, so I might wait for a more price increase so that I can also make a good purchase at a good value. Besides, there’s fiat anyway. The reason why we should never run out of fiat so that if we can’t spend our crypto, then we should always be ready to spend our fiat.
1911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 06, 2022, 09:44:59 PM
Having a personal strategy to me isn't just the key but the ability to stick to it, is. I have been trading synthetic indices for over 6months and I feel it is better to have a working personal strategy and keeping to it, even at the days and times of loss.

I'm seeking to know if having a personal trading strategy has been able to enhance your trading profitablity and if you really keep to a particular strategy that worked for you even when it seems it's failing you later on and for how long do you stick to this strategy?
If you are a good trader, you will never rely for other trader’s strategy to work on you. Have your own working strategy because that will be your source of strength and future success. However, there are certain strategies that never work for long. If you are already seeing losses every time you trade, that maybe a sign that your strategy is not working anymore. It’s either you build and develop a new strategy, or create a new positive outlook that will help you become more focus and determine to win in trading.
1912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: October 06, 2022, 09:23:10 PM
No one can say for sure whether Bitcoin will go down any further or whether it will pump. But currently the price of Bitcoin is standing at the price I think it is not bad to invest here for long term investment. If we look at the all time high of bitcoin then now we will see that Bitcoin price is more than 70% of it's All time high price , So I think even now if someone is doing Bitcoin investment then they can get more than three times this profit in Next Halving.
The current bitcoin value is still tempting to buy more and hold more for long term. That’s what most of the potential investors are doing right now or they keep on DCAing once they witness another price decline for bitcoin. And for me, this is a much better idea so you can create 5x or 10x profits when the bullish trend starts to appear in the market. Just grab whenever there are opportunities to buy and you’ll always be thankful in the future.
1913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Some People think that long term Bitcoin holding is a dumb idea? on: October 06, 2022, 08:57:08 PM
I honestly have not seen anybody who actually thinks holding bitcoin in long term is a bad idea! There are definitely a lot of idiots who spread FUD but even those people don't think that since they are buying bitcoin themselves, specially in the dips.
13 years of going up and more up has proven that.
It will always be an individual’s choice whether you’re up for bitcoin long term hodling or not. If you are not in a rush to make profits, then always go for bitcoin long term hodling as it’s proven already that it’s value will always grow and develop in time. No one gets rich from short term hodling, but you can reap huge profits and become even a millionaire if you stay patient holding your bitcoin for years. Just trust the process.
1914  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 05, 2022, 09:38:50 PM

To be financially literate is not taught in school, we realize this when we already have responsibilities to shoulder.
Hard to say you will survive when the whole country you live in struggles to float. With economy and companies are shutting down, it really is hard to make money even when you apply as a maid/cleaner or lawn cutter, you may still struggle to find customers.

If only its free to harvest the wild life and sell them for food, life wouldn't be this hard for someone who has the skills to shoot.  Cheesy
Life is definitely hard, and that is why there is no easy way to earn a living if you just sit and won’t come out from your comfort zone. Sad to say, not all people realize this and still stay on their current position until they end up as a poor adult. However, if you want to see big changes in your life, then take some risks. You may have different skills within you, but the problem is you never use it at the right place and at the right time. Sometimes, life gets harder especially if you keep on doing things that are not relevant at all.
1915  Other / Off-topic / Re: R.I.P Asian Football World : Indonesia on: October 03, 2022, 08:52:30 PM
Yes I have read about this sad and tragic incident that happened in Indonesia. i don't really follow football but sport of any kind should be played and watched with a good sportsman spirit because nothing is important  than anyone's life. similar incident happened in Pakistan and Afghanistan cricket match in Dubai but things got under control by the authorities.
Same here. I’m not a fan of football and I don’t usually bet on it but with this tragic event causing a lot of lives to end, my sympathy to all those bereaved families. It’s a sad truth that there are really fans who can never control their emotions and end up into riots. The reason that those police officers fired tear gas in response to those fans who are involved in riots. I just hope the same incident would not happen again, not only in football but in all types of sports.
1916  Economy / Gambling / Re: I play on dueblits on strip club and win on: October 03, 2022, 08:18:28 PM
Consuming drugs and paying for the sex are not really appropriate to express in the gambling board and we don't have to appreciate it as well in my opinion.

Because we all know these things are harmful and illegal in most of the region in this world and I remember this forum doesn't encourage anything that goes against the laws of respective countries where they belong to.
Am not telling you or anyone else to appreciate whatever op did here. I just informed you that there are no rules/restrictions related to such harmful stuff in the gambling board which is where you are wrong.

and i'm also pretty sure if he's immature he's still under the age of 18. because usually a young age always flaunts what he considers rare in his life so that others know what he's doing and expect to be rewarded with something embarrassing like that.
if he was an adult wouldn't publish that kind of thing in a gambling thread like this.
Exactly. Some people are blowing this topic out of proportion. Fact is that op just had a wild night and posted about his experience. It's as simple as that.
For me, there’s no big issue on that. It’s your own decision on what to do on your winnings, and OP just have fun and become wild that night. That’s all. After that, I don’t think he’ll be doing it again knowing he spend all his money that night. Maybe OP is still in a very young age, as it’s obvious that he’s not yet taking consideration  on saving some of his winnings that night.
1917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: October 03, 2022, 07:51:06 PM
We're merely plebs, many of us. Although there are also casino whales in the forum, I believe it's the best advice for everyone, especially plebs, to play only the casino games with the lowest house edge available. BlackJack, Craps, and Roullette IF you just bet on Red or Black.

I think that doesn't change the fact that our winning chance is still by luck. Although Blackjack should be associated with a good decision, we are still playing against the house. Craps is also a difficult game that's why even though it was stated that the house edge of this game is between 0 - 16.67%, still, if luck doesn't come to us we will be doomed. Roulettes, even if we just have to bet on red or black is also a difficult game.

In conclusion, we can't really feel that these casino games really have the lowest house edge.

For me, just choose the game we are comfortable to play with.
I guess in gambling, whether you came from a high or low social status, that won’t give you a guarantee to win as gambling will always be a game of chance and luck, and that the house will always win. Even if you play in those low edge house casinos, losses will always be inevitable. But if you know how to manage your finances and you always play in an amount you can afford to lose, losing will never become a big deal on you.
1918  Economy / Gambling / Re: I beat Duelbits on: October 03, 2022, 07:27:32 PM
i am very good on this before i beat stake now i beat duelbits

Is not a thread to put them down I love this casino is much better than stake.

But the house can't beat player like me.

they have cool feature like depositing in altcoins and withdraw in bitcoin immediately

Well, it's good that you are sharing your joy and winning, but to be honest, this is not the right section to discuss this topic; you should search for a suitable area for this thread. So this post is irrelevant, and I still don't understand the purpose of creating this thread.

Some people are simply that excited when they get a win so in a way I can understand the happiness of the OP, however what I do not share is his blind optimism, because he is talking as if he made a fortune when we can see from the image that he posted that this is not the case, maybe that amount is a fortune for him and that is what he is so happy about his win, but for a casino like Duelbits that loss is absolutely nothing and they do not care at all the OP won that bet.
Maybe because OP only gets the chance to gamble occasionally and whenever he wins, that makes him very happy thinking that he’s as good as professional gamblers. Small wins may already seem a big fortune on him, and I was also like that before. But if you are a long term gambler, you will never be satisfied with this. You will always aim for higher profits that’s always why you keep chasing your luck even your losses too.
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: October 03, 2022, 06:57:36 PM
You need a license to legally serve gambling products to some jurisdictions like the UK and the US.

You don't need one if you open a casino in a territory that doesn't require you to have one (I think a lot do though) and serve countries that don't need you to be licensed there in order to operate. Just search if you need one for your country.
It’s seldom to see casinos who are operating without its license. If you want the people will never doubt on the legitimacy of your casino, then you should have the license to operate so that it will be legalized and people will start trusting it. Especially for high rollers, they always go on licensed and reputable casinos because it’s where they can feel security.
1920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 433 Winners to split $4,015,156.265 6/55 Grand Lotto Jackpot on: October 02, 2022, 10:46:02 PM
Wow, that's a lot of winners.

And the first thing that when a jackpot like this in a grand lotto is won by hundreds of people, 433 to be specific, it's all about being coordinated bets at different locations.

Like there's someone who has leaked the winning combination but I don't think that's possible if the draw itself is televised and supervised. Since it's a hot issue, sure that there will be investigators about it but if it's a real thing. Then, congrats to the winners.  Cool
Everyone was surprised about the number of winners we have at the previous lottery draw as usually, there's only 1 or 2 winners who will win the jackpot. But this time its very unusual. But i also don't think the game is rigged or someone has leaked the winning combination as the draw game is in live. Let's just say these people are just lucky enough, and we should also be happy for them so they can enjoy their winning amount.
