Thank you guys for your comments. I hope the rest of the individuals I am trying to contact will see this thread as well and respond to me if I am on ignore. I have this moderated thread to keep track of the progress. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140654

Thank you, im glad you like it. Go to my website to see the whole body of my mascot Haha. Adorable. And congratulations on making a website that actually looks like the other websites in the similar market.

Bitcoiners, Not sure if you have me on ignore or not but I couldn't find a response to my message. If you or anyone else who had might have had me on ignore sees this, please respond to my message. Thank you.
which message? I'm sorry, I just realized that was confusing. When I said "bitcoiners", I meant the user "bitcoiners", not every bitcoiner in general. We have since exchanged messages.

Great to see this logo being revisited. Personally I think the L looks a little bit too much like a t.

By factor I could mean a group of people using it ... or even just technical detail about how bitcoin itself works.
I think the irreversibility of payment gives it a defining factor that pretty much no other medium of payment has. So that will allow it a permanent place in every market across the world... however large or small that place will be.
In modern day society, lacking reversals is a social taboo. I've seen it referred to as "Screw you, got mine" mentality before. I know it's workable on a professional level, but consumers might have a problems swallowing their entire life savings being able to be taken by a simple keylogger. That said, I use bitcoin professionally and adore it's irreversibility. For the longest time I've considering the greatest contributing factor to be that anyone can make it. That might not be true for long though unfortunately.

With the cat is out of the bag and the entire world developing their own digital currencies and payment services, the next few decades will see a currency struggle unlike any in history with private institutions becoming banks and lenders and incorporating technologies such as Ripple through social networks.
Bitcoin will always have a place because speculators (and miners) continue to back it. With the threat of competition inevitable, I'd guess that it'd be time better spent making sure Bitcoin can keep up with it's future competitors. They're coming you know.
In my personal opinion, I used to think alternative currencies as just another money and fame grab for the authors, but in discussing the dynamics I think we absolutely need them. Many aspects of this project are still unproven, and as such we cannot discount the benefits of other project currencies and the wealth of experiences they can bring.
That's just my two cents.

I think it will lead to more factual, interesting debates. If someone knows the issue, they should be able to sufficiently argue both sides. It might help with biases as well?
+1 In fact, this is common practice in debate classes and is a good idea all around. Livestream is an option for sure I was using tokbox
I really like this idea (that's why I came in!) but I have the feeling that it will fail so long as video is a requirement. Bitcoiners are still, as a majority, horribly afraid of revealing their personalities and likenesses for fear of trolls and other things. Most of the people on this forum won't even give their real names. I think removing the video and allowing just "live arguments" by chat would suffice. It's less sexy, but bitcoiners (the ones who hold bitcoins) will be more likely to participate. Just my two cents. I'll be happy to support it just the same as I love debate! Wear a mask and change your voice! Haha. That's not a bad idea for a gimmick. "Strongbad, the negotiaTOR". Someone with his voice can debate things with excellent points like "Itza just really dumb Man!"

http://www.infowars.com/captain-kirks-predecessor-star-trek-was-rand-corporation-predictive-programming/“The things that intrigues me the most”, Hunter said, “is that it is actually based on the Rand Corporation’s projection of things to come. Except for the fictional characters, it will be like getting a look into the future and some of the predictions will surely come true in our lifetime.” Predictive programming as a way to introduce certain “possible” technologies is an aspect highlighted in great detail by researcher Alan Watt. Watt, naively described on Wikipedia as a “conspiracy theorist”, is the first to accurately and thoroughly communicate the concept of predictive programming:
“A subtle form of psychological conditioning provided by the media to acquaint the public with planned societal changes to be implemented by our leaders.
If and when these changes are put through, the public will already be familiarized with them and will accept them as ‘natural progressions’; thus lessening any possible public resistance and commotion.” As Daniel Brandt wrote in his article Philanthropists at War, the interlocking system of “foundations” and think tanks after WWII were part of the push by central banks to establish, by stealth, a one world government. And this global system of control, as Carroll Quigley brought to light in his Tragedy and Hope, would not be some idealized “let’s all come together in peace” sort of political utopia. Rather this thousand-headed creature was forced into being and controlled by the major central banks on the planet acting in concert. So, what predictions from Star Trek do you think have already become reality? I have a few ideas... http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Amanda_RogersPicard, suspicious about the accident, told Data to investigate the deaths of Rogers' biological parents. It seemed that the circumstances were very rare; a tornado escaped the weather modification network and landed right on Rogers' house with a force which was inconsistent with the size of the tornado. I hope you know that in the star trek universe there is no need for money as you can get anything you need? Why would the banks help establishing that? http://vanparecon.resist.ca/StarTrekEcon/Federation citizens possess what a 20th century capitalist would refer to as "money" only in a limited way. What corresponds most closely to "money" in the Federation is referred to as "credits". These are earned by working, the more and harder one works, the more "credits" an individual earns. One can then use these to purchase food, transportation, living space, etc. Once one spends a credit, it disappears, it is not transferable to the store or anyone else (except parents to children). It is simply deducted from one's total. To get more, one must work more. Credits cannot be traded, except for some controlled gamboling instances, and cannot be stolen. The deduction and accumulation of credits is more of a bookkeeping system than anything else. As above, production units that produce transporters, food, etc. do not trade money for inputs, but simply get what was decided upon by the participatory planning process.

constitution: A word of advice. If you're not who people think you are, prove them differently by not scamming anyone and being productive. I once had a scammer tag because of a disagreement over 1 BTC. Now I have a scammer tag over a disagreement over tens of thousands of BTC. I made it right the first time and worked past it, and I am attempting to make it right the second time and move past it.
In other words, no one cares if you're a scammer (as there are scammers here who don't get scammer tags and operate shady businesses on a regular basis with blessings from the community), they care if you scam *them*. So don't scam them. That in my opinion is worth more than griping about it in a thread.

The hones is on the craftsman... If you meant onus, when do I get paid? Seriously, it's an excellent idea, but I believe I've read something of this very nature on this forum, if not elsewhere. Some other member would have to come along and point it out if I'm correct. What if your project was on a dedicated website where each page has a single paid ad as to where some of the micro funds would stem from? ~Bruno K~ I did mean onus, thank you for correcting that. I have not seen it practiced yet on these forums so I can't really say if someone mentioned it before or not. It seems like an interesting social experiment just the same. In regards to advertisements, that could be a great idea to help fund numerous projects, but my instincts tell me that there just simply isn't enough market for advertisements in the bitcoin community at this stage. It does seem like it would need a separate website though due to both escrow and "votes" (both optional of course).

Bruno's title gave me an idea. I am a stickler for quality in design as is clearly visible in my trolling of various natures last year. Albeit misplaced, my intentions were in the right direction: to bring higher standards to design and form in the bitcoin world. Typical bounties are a race to finish, like spec work, they potentially cheat everyone involved of the chance to learn and develop organically as a team. They are useful in many scenarios, but I wanted to present an idea for an alternative bounty system. - An initial rough object (be it an article, an equation, a graphic design, anything really) is presented in poor quality along with a wallet address containing a small bounty (let's say 0.01 BTC) held in escrow.
- The following post is a revision of said object, done "better" than the previous, while paying double the previous bounty themselves (0.02 BTC).
- The object revision is approved or denied by the OP. (Optionally, participants vote on it with voting power proportional to their bounty contribution) Upon approval, the contributor is added to the list of accepted escrow recipients. If the revision is declined, the bounty for the revisions will still increase, but the declined submitter will not receive a bounty.
- This process is repeated until revisions are no longer remaining or a time limit is reached. This insures the best quality and the most shared ideas in an organic process.
- The last rendition is awarded the full escrowed bounty with respect from all parties involved for their superior skills or judgement in the initial task.
Why bother with this alternative system? - The hones is on the craftsman to back his work with funds and not waste the time of the OP.
- Great projects could be funded by the community instead of the OP. Contributors who merely want to donate have a chance to try their hand in the creative process.
- The entire community can be involved in the learning process.
This can potentially cause a project to take longer to finish, but can also raise the awareness and skill level of each individual involved. Something that may be worth it in itself. Cheers

Dear community, Last fall (2012) a very public trolling that cost many people a great deal of money was perpetrated by myself, and it was not a very good trolling at that. Although the intention was for entertainment for a majority of users, I crossed a lot of lines and ended up both hurting people financially and causing people to think things of me I had not intended. For that I am truly ashamed for my behavior and have had a lot to think about in regards to my involvement in the bitcoin movement and what I can do differently. I lost a lot of 'friends' to my poor decisions and I'd like to make it up to them as well. The following users participated in a bet with me that reached into amounts that are impossible to pay in this lifetime. Graciously, many of these users have presented a more realistic settlement and I have accepted. This thread is a matter of public record in regards to that settlement and the resolution of this situation in general and will be kept up to date by myself and forum admins.
