becareful  this was .00025 not even 24 hours ago

I'm happy. I sold 10% of my coin and more than doubled what I spent buying/mining. The other 90% is house money. But, I expect a long steady climb if BK keeps up and gets this coin mainstream.

I think the confirm time issue has to be fixed though. Although, depends on the merchant though. But credit card transactions take sub-seconds at a POS terminal.

Can locked balances be unlocked any time or will they stay locked for 30 days?
They can only be unlocked after 30 days

Hmm... would be nice to be able to unlock coins, even if that means you loose the interest in case there is a nice price spike you want to take advantage of.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: May 16, 2014, 07:42:40 PM
Does anyone know why confirmations are taking so long? I sent some coins to mintpal over 30 minutes ago, still not confirmed...

Yes, I saw the same thing. Early days you would get 6 confirms in about 10 minutes and the first one after about 60-90 seconds.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHARE]ShareCoin - Pure POS - The only coin backed up by a real bussiness on: May 16, 2014, 07:40:10 PM
Sweet info.

Is there some option to "lock" your coin in your wallet to gain interest?

Already locked in my FEESHARE to collect interest!! 1 FEESHARE @ 30 DAYS = 1,000 ShareCoins Smiley

How? I must be missing this option!

Sweet, got BTC for me FeeShares!

Up top it says "Interest" an youll see the option to either do FEESHARE OR SHARECOINS to colllect Smiley

Same here BTC @ 0.00420084

Cheesy

Spent the coins earned to buy 964 coins Smiley

Thanks... missed that.

So, once FEE are locked, they have to stay locked for 30 days. And interest is only paid after the 30 days?

Do SHARE have to be locked for 30 days as well?

please dev, can you add ParallaxCoin?
yes dev. can we add parallax coin?

He's been working on a site update for a few days now and is very close to rolling it out. I'm sure once that is done and rolled out he will get back to adding more coins. I even expect (I'm just guessing) there will be a voting page on the site for new coins.

WHEN WILL I GET MY SHARE? I HAVE BEEN KEEPING MY SIGNATURE WELL OVER 7 DAYS.
http://sharecoin.info/#track

I feel for this guy. He wasn't the only one that had changed his sig. He asked nicely a few times and was told, set it back and the site will update. Everyone's did (there were several with such inflated days) but his didn't. He has asked several times nicely since then what's up.

I think he met all the requirements to get the coin and should get his 65k shares. But, I'm not the dev.

Guys I am at my wits end the wallet says last block generated 7 days ago, why doesn't it sync and why can't I get my shareocins out? I want to cry. Cry

Are you on the latest version? 1.6.0, if not, get the newest version from the link in the OP.

If you are, close the wallet, delete everything but NOT YOUR wallet.dat in %AppData%\ShareCoin, then re-run the app.

My wallet isn't syncing what shall I do? All my sharecoins are stuck. Smiley

Hi guys,

I bought 10 feeshares and was really excited to have them.

We had a really bad flood and I have to sell everything I have. I want to keep them so bad but I have to sell everything I have!! Cry

The problem is that they are not on the BTC market yet.

I will sell you my login and password of my account with the 10 feeshares.

This is not a scam. I will be happy to use any escrow on this forum.

I understand that they are for sale right now and if you are buying them from me you would only do it if you get a good deal. I am happy to give you a deal because I am desperate for money. PM me serious offers. I am going to sell them to the best offer I get.

Thanks

The FeeShare/BTC market will open tomorrow.. then you can sell it for BTC. Won't be long now. Surely you can wait 12 hours or so?

backup wallet function does not work in 1.6.0....ive tried both file < backup wallet and the backupwallet command in the console...neither work...I ended up just copy and pasting my wallet.dat file from roaming folder...has anyone else had this problem?

Everyone else has had that problem. Copying it with a file explorer is just as good.

It's just a shame you put 1 Bitcoin on it. Cause it really isn't. But, I understand where you are coming from, although if you only accepted BTC I how would there be charge backs?

You could actually just sell Silver Eagles and stick your Hologram on them and it would be the same other than the design and rarity, which is nice.

I assume when the web site says you "password" is on the hologram, this is a private key that goes with the address? It isn't a password to your web site that is needed to get the private key? So, if you go away the BTC can still be accessed?

You have to charge tax even when shipping out of Canada? You are in Canada?

Thanks for your answers. I guess there's not more coupons?

There were no taxes when shipped to USA. The multi-signature can be done offline and does not need their website to work. You can verify your half of the key and there would be no reason for the manufacture to lie about including the other half under the hologram. It would do them no good to keep half of the key.

I don't know why people would choose the private key. The multi-sig is way more secure and trust is no longer an issue. Either use multi-sig or DIY. The second option is just asking for trouble.

The second option has been added because some people preferred it, as it does not require another paper with a second key to redeem. Of course they need to trust me when using this option, but the same was required for Casascius and Lealana. Of course multi-sig is the safest option in a customer point of view, but for some people, this might be an option that fit their needs. I totally understand your point tho !

Cryptolator is a registered company in Quebec, Canada and all my information are linked to this company, it wouldn't be a good idea for me to try to scam anyone ! Tongue

I'm not suggesting that.

Is it possible, with option 1 and or 2 to get the private key printed on paper as well as the hologram? Or does that defeat the purpose?
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: May 16, 2014, 01:01:14 AM
I see NAUT is on Mintpal now. How'd that happen? Someone buy it?

Anyway, seems to be a popular exchange. OP should be updated.

ANN updated with MAC wallet links too

Cool. You know, if you ZIP the windows wallets you could probably put the links in the OP and have them work.

Actually, I was thinking the other way. If the private key is lost would there be some way for Cryptolator to recover it. Of course, that would mean trusting them to keep it secure.

Say a two year old rips the hologram off and it goes away. I have zero way to get the PK right? And the BTC is gone? That's why I asked if the PK was on the certificate as well as the Address.

If you go with option 2, is the private key ONLY on the hologram (you say it is deleted from your machine after generated)? It isn't on the certificate that comes with the coin?

Sort of like a Silver (paper) wallet?
