1941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: January 05, 2018, 04:38:32 PM
Praticing everyday for few months you will pass the fear feeling. the fluctiation is a normal thing of the market. That will help you get money if you have skill.
over time, you will even be less bothered about the coin you got because it would have risen so much in price that anything that would get it back down to the value you bought it would not even be something that would likely be possible to happen.

Fluctuation is normal and the way the crypto market is, it is more like being in a stock market, some will do well, some will not but at the end of the day, you will get a huge benefit from them in the long run.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: January 04, 2018, 03:22:27 PM
I think it will be as much of bitcoin that we can win to quit gambling forever Grin although we don't have a big chance to win a big bitcoin. if you want to quit from gambling, don't wait to win the game but you can quit in every time you want before everything is too late for you. you need to realize that to quit from gambling don't have required much of bitcoin and only need to leave the gambling places as soon as you can.

For many people it becomes too late before they realize that they have already lost the hug money in the gambling and they have actually left with not much choice but to quit gambling. Thus if people can realize it that its not good for them as they could lose their own money they might quit by themselves rather than somebody offering them money to quit.
We should use the word here ’majority’ instead of ‘many’ because this is the truth that for majority gamblers, it is too late when they come to realize that they have lost big amount in gambling and there is no way left for them for which they should move back and continue their life as all the family members also have discontinued their relation with such a gamblers because they don’t want to suffer due to what most gambler doing.

The money we need to spend for quitting gambling may differ but definitely will go beyond the limit we may afford to lose. That is the reason we cannot it is commonly do say by people that we cannot escape from the dangers of gambling usually.
1943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 08:29:03 AM
There are traders that are saying that the price of bitcoin might go down lower than 10k level of its price and if you will believe to them then it is the best time to sell some bitcoin and wait for the price to reach to that level and you can just buy some bitcoin and hold it for long term and wait for the price to pump to sell.
Do not ever believe in whatever anyone is saying. Every trader try as much as possible to predict and then look forward to some of the things that may happen but that does not necessarily mean they will happen. So far, bitcoin can choose to go in any direction and as long as you are holding for the long run, you should not even bother cashing out.

Bitcoin has strong base and support level and for it to get to $10,000 would really be something that could be possible but with low chances.
1944  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchanger for 2018? on: January 04, 2018, 07:12:16 AM
respect my question. i just want to know more about trading and study it for the most reliable and trusted exchanger.

Bitrex, etherdelta and binance are now widely used for trading purposes. I see in this list also bitrex most choosy trading site among the forum member. I like polenix site but recently we find many complaints about the polenix scams now.
Whatever the exchange is not matter to get the profit in the trading, you have to choose the best coin on daily basis to invest that is enough.
Yeah, these ones are being used often; including Bitfinex and poloniex, but the truth is that most of them would always end up having one complaint and the other and not just poloniex.

Bittrex had its own before the end of 2017 when they locked so many accounts, I won't be surprised if the few ones that are new now would still have some complaints over the years, but the best thing is just to try as much as possible to stay safe and none of these exchanges can be considered as best to me, unless you want to rate them in terms of trading functions and platform usability.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is Bankless casino possible? on: January 03, 2018, 04:29:48 PM
I get your idea you basically want to make a GPT website where you will put a gambling option too. I think this is not a very good idea because anyone who earns money by filling out lengthy surveys and typical tasks will never appreciate gambling his funds and lose them. I think better you make a website where users can earn money and actually get a LOTTO TICKET on completing each survey and draw a weekly prize.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: January 03, 2018, 02:19:13 PM
Math/statistics can raise the odds of you winning as far as gambling. I'd never do the digital casino thing, though. I use online for sportsbetting and go to a casino for anything else. Good luck!
Please can you put some light on how maths can increase "chances of winning" ?
Because though I agree that maths will certainly help you make more strategies and calculate various things but actually at the end its just about luck and the edge involved. You cannot win in long term if you play against a significant edge but you can win in short term sometimes.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $123 for few minutes on: January 03, 2018, 08:14:36 AM
Good for you but i'm thinking you should quit gambling for now, from the moment you are having profit. Cause later you will lose much more than the money you earn, trust me.

Greed is what stops people to withdraw the winning amount and they keep playing thinking that the next bet also they will win and get more profits. But in gambling we do know that win is only temporary and in long run people will lose their money. So better to stay away or else if win take your money and leave.

the best way to profit from gambling. besides controlling greed, we can try the $ 100 way from one casino. so each gets a $ 100 profit from a casino. we should quickly withdraw our funds and start looking for a new casino that will probably give back a $ 100 profit
It does not change your winning chances and definitely not increase them if you gamble on 10 casinos or you gamble on a single casino for 10 times because all the games are now days mostly provably fair and hence all the results can be verified.
I believe if someone wants to earn profit from gambling they should stick to the sports betting because other forms of betting just require luck and you cannot change anything apart from trying various strategies which I call madness.
1948  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Christmas gift on: January 03, 2018, 07:36:24 AM
Bitcoin breaking it’s high-price again and again, multiple purposes rather than payment system and future investment.
All this make bitcoin a perfect gift for your love, wife, and family.

1.  your gift for Christmas will be a bitcoin?.
2. your ways to gift bitcoins "Hardware wallet, bitcoin gifts, paper wallet, Physical Coins, Donate"?.

Well as a Christmas gift I would rather give other gifts than giving bitcoin as a gift. It is better beceaise they can keep the gift as a remembrance. People are keeping their bitcoin, so I bet most people would not give away their bitcoin.
Even if someone is giving bitcoin as Christmas gift, such a person must really understand what bitcoin is all about first and not just be someone who would end up not even appreciating the value of what you have given to them and why they may need to hold it.

For someone who would appreciate it though, I do not see any reason why I would not do that. After all, even though in my wallet and my wife knows what bitcoin is as I have hinted her already, I gave her few bitcoins as a Christmas gift and man, it was like I gave her the whole world.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest $500 in Altcoins on: January 02, 2018, 05:38:22 PM
I wanna invest $500 in Altcoins. Which one do you prefer? I was thinking of Waves, Eth and Neo.

Those are good choice of top altcoins but they are expensive. Why not buy altcoins with cheaper price but has a big potentital to grow in the future? How about buying Cardano, Ripple, and NEM?
They are really good choices, but I will rather leave XRP out of it. I have never liked the idea behind XRP and I do not hold a coin just only because of the increase in value but because I am sure that it is going to do well and stay relevant in the long run. I would rather hold fiat than hold XRP. Nevertheless, everyone sure does have what makes them tick, so it is best you do a good research and from the look of things, Waves and ETH are good choices.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Lucky moments during gambling? on: January 02, 2018, 08:21:04 AM
No one controls our luck, if you are really lucky today then be thankful but it tomorrow will be your unlucky day in about playing gambling then still be thankful because everything is not always in the up but also in down.
The thing is that even luck can easily get tired of us trying to overplay him (assuming luck to be human here)… I would get tired and make sure you even get screwed if you do not just say thank you the first time and walk away. Jokes apart though, depending on luck every time is what has gotten so many people screwed up today and what amuses me is that they just don't learn their lessons and they keep coming back.
1951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest profit you made with altcoins? on: January 01, 2018, 10:27:42 AM
my biggest win in my entire live is with TRX, i make 500 usd investment and it goes 300% increase in price with just 8 days, not big for other people but that big enough for me, now im holding XRP hope the price keep increase as well
I have really got some pretty good wins and honestly I just stopped keeping track of all my holdings. I am about to set them up on cointrack though so I can know the level of increase for each coin, the one that has given me some great profit so far and how much I am earning from each of them. So far though, even in this year alone, LTC, ETH and some lower coins like ADA has done the trick.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming Bounties on: January 01, 2018, 08:28:36 AM
That's the thing, nobody can tell for sure if it's going to succeed and therefore would be a great bounty to participate in.
Apparently not. It is a risky one that can pay and may end up not even paying at all.
However, when it pays, most especially for a good team, a good allocation for bounty hunters, then at least you can get a very good chance to hit a pretty good amount.

You just have to make the decision all by yourself and see yourself as an investor as well, so as to do some research before venturing into any of them since you are giving out your time and resources.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XVG ? on: January 01, 2018, 07:36:59 AM
Seems like sir McAfee's made a pump group in his twitter) it's a bit late to buy this coin, because the main pump is gone and now we see another correction.
Lol. It seems like really and from the look of things, anytime he announces a coin, it gets pumped and dumped within minutes. We cannot say yet though, so as not to be throwing accusing fingers, but XVG to me seems to be over pumped unnecessarily and I would rather give it a chance to get dumped as usual before buying into it.

I have not gotten the time to get to know much about the coin though, but I have seen some people talk about it in a good way.
1954  Economy / Economics / Re: How to invest in bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 09:24:03 AM
I have seen many ways to earn bitcoin, and still not familiar with some of it. I am a student and I wanna ask how to invest in bitcoin, and if students like me are capable of doing that already?

Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

There are many ways to invest in Bitcoin. You can buy on exchanges and hold it for long term. If you have a substantial amount of Bitcoin, you must invest also in hardware wallets as it is more secured and reliable storage of your investments. It is prone to hack and phising if you are always online and your email address or any information are publicly publsihed on the internet. As a student, you can offer services in exchange for Bitcoin. You can do typing jobs, data entey, research or any clerical work that fits your skills. In this way, you can earn extra income as well as investment for your future.
Yes, it is just like any normal investment, buy in, wait to get some profit and as long as you are good enough with the profit, then you can just decide to sell. Like you have said, there are so many ways that even most of us cannot do all at once to earn but as much as you can do, you can just best do it, knowing that one day, you will definitely get the best of it in the long run.

For example, I started trading after I learned and saw the huge possibilities of making it big, there are so many other ways but sometimes I do always wish I could split myself.
1955  Economy / Economics / Re: How ICO projects will influence BTC and blockchain on: December 30, 2017, 03:15:05 PM
Even though these ICOs are more connected with ETH, BTC still benefits from it. Most people that invest in ICOs usually just dump their coins afterwards and buy BTC. So basically, even with some of these alts eventually failing, money still moves into BTC. With the increasing price of Bitcoins, it seems getting a profit from these ICOs and using the profit to buy bitcoins is becoming the more common way to earn a stake in BTC.
The impact you get from that in the long run is not much and honestly, it does not have much effect as real investors do not bother anyway as they hold for long. We cannot rule out the fact that what most investors think of these days is basically profit and which is why it would take some real push for ICOs with ready-made product to get the attention of real investors. Once they can push their product out and it becomes highly useful, that enough will drive the market to the moon.
1956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a boom for debt ridden countries ? on: December 30, 2017, 01:21:22 PM
Well if we're talking about underdeveloped nations here, they would be be finding it hard to provide their citizens with the basic things required to access Bitcoin : A computer/mobile phone and an internet connection. Then again, even if they succeed in this, it would be another big process of teaching the uneducated and underprivileged about Bitcoin and its mechanism.
Not all underdeveloped nations, as some are still doing pretty well in that area and internet has really grown past what anyone would really not have now except for the extremely poor countries that are so far behind. A lot of the citizens of these so called underdeveloped countries are already helping themselves out and in the long run, it would pay off for most of them even if the government refuses to upgrade.

If debt ridden countries are not stupid enough to discard it, then definitely it can. However, we have to consider the fact that it was corruption that actually led most of these countries to end up debt ridden and this may not change anything as the government of some of these countries may still end up not managing the system well and hence, they would not change a bit. As long as the leaders are messed up, nothing can change.
1957  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sites on: December 30, 2017, 12:38:17 PM
Poloniex to me is the one I like the most right now because it is easy to use and has good volume. I've been using Poloniex for about a year and I've been pleased with it so far. I have heard some complaints about withdrawals taking a long time but I have not experienced those problems.
I would actually recommend Binance, and it has been a very good platform at least so far. Bittrex too was once a very good platform until the whole bullshit started with their lagging site, like a lot of bugs on the site and it is becoming terrible even every day that makes one feel un-relaxed. Never trust any exchange and with that, you will know how to be able to manage your funds without putting so much in them.
1958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade efficiently? on: December 30, 2017, 10:59:38 AM
If you never did mistake it mean you never tried,Risk factor every where involved we can not finish it but we can minimize it by pre study and knowledge of trade and after practical experience no matter if you did g you will learn from it and in future will avoid past mistakes. Just keep going on never stop will reach the goal.
Definitely and even after learning, you will always be bound to make mistakes and those mistakes are like the experiences you need to get better and not to get greedy.

I remembered that after learning, there was a point I still got greedy but over time, I understood the fact that even if the market move higher or lower, just have a strategy and stick to it and with that you will professionally make good judgments.
1959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: December 30, 2017, 08:32:07 AM
it's never a great time to sell your bitcoin, just figure out how much of a return you want from your investment and stick to it
I Am agree here. Now bitcoin price $14,127 its not good time for sell bitcoin.you can buy now bitcoin and hold them tightly. When another pump will come, you should sell your bitcoin.

Yes and we saw bitcoin had touched $20k so it's not far to happen again so better to keep buying.
However, if you really need to sell like there's something urgent in your finances then sell some of it then just try to buy back or sell when you at least profited. But personally, this isn't the good exit point.
A real trader will not even be asking if it is the right time to sell bitcoin right now. Every good trader knows when to buy and when to sell to make profit and for anyone who does not have the strategies or what to look out for when trading, then they should better just hold unless like you said; they are just ready to sell because they need the cash. For now though, one should be looking at a good entry point and not an exit position.
1960  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: December 30, 2017, 07:57:03 AM
I wouldn't believe if bitcoin will go to $7500 then I will buy some of the bitcoin then I will keep it until the price value of bitcoin be increased again in the next year to bicsa reached $2500 and I will be a little bit of selling it some of the bitcoin me then I will benefit
I would not want to wait for that long anyway before getting into bitcoin, as this present value may be the last lowest value anyone will ever see.

Hence it is best to get now while you still have the chance than listening to those who want bitcoin to hit as low as $7500 as that would be something that may be quite impossible right now and you would not want to join the band wagon of those who are going to be regretting like the OP later in future and wishing it crashes to $13000 later in future.
