1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Libra might be good for Bitcoins on: June 20, 2019, 11:37:07 PM
We all know that it is going to serve as a major competition for Bitcoins
How not anonymous stable shitcoin can be competition to bitcoin?

In 2018 there were 2.38 billion active users of Facebook , what does that mean , why is it important ?
Simple :- people trust Facebook, they have been here since years and therefore the scope is unlimited.

Now since they are releasing Libra , that is a cryptocurrency people will stop looking wide eyed on Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and since it's not evidently getting launched just tomorrow we have all the time in the world to welcome those 2.38 billion into the *maybe they will be using Bitcoins* world.
I honestly hope they will launch it because I am tired arguing with people that bitcoin is not scam. If facebook tells them it is not scam it is not scam then Roll Eyes

If I cannot buy ganja or some pistols for my collection with Libra, and also receive ransomware payments, then it is not any more useful than good old PayPal.
This is what I missed here today. Humor.

So you write that you know that Malware was on the link and you created the Ann anyway !
I believe yanoaziz said that they downloaded wallet from github which they claim it doesn't contain malicious file but they didn't check wallet which was in translated thread:

i scan this wallet but i didn't find any virus. (github link not this one )
I too was attacked if it was a virus.

@yanoaziz from where did you translate thread, I don't see that link in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5107654.0?
1965  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Facebook uvodi vlastitu kriptovalutu? on: June 20, 2019, 08:34:47 PM

hello, Mr lafu.
first, I am a translator. trying to get the bounty. i scan this wallet but i didn't find any virus. (github link not this one )
I too was attacked if it was a virus. because to get the bounty I need to download the wallet to get the coin.
Dear Mr. yanoaziz, link you posted and which was reported to moderator is not the link to github.

I couldn't download zip file because I got warning that malicious file is inside and as I already said domain is flagged as malicious - which scan shows. I have learned that it is not good to be too curious when malware is in question, especially nowadays when scambies are spamming altcoin section with infected wallets.
1968  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hhampuz embezzling signature campaign funds from BestMixer on: June 20, 2019, 06:58:40 PM
I think, at this point, we are spinning in circle and we have reached start point. With lack of proofs it is impossible to prove anything.

Hhampuz is actually secret code for sting operation which lasted for a year and money was later seized by Europol. Of course, I made this up and theory is extremely likely not true but I guess it is OK to have at least one theory in this thread. Now prove me wrong...
1969  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez na bitcoin i kriptovalute 2018-2019 on: June 20, 2019, 06:33:48 PM

Ostaje ti još 5 BTC-a i kad njih vratiš u fiat, plaćaš porez.
Undecided Pa to nema nikakve logike.
1970  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez na bitcoin i kriptovalute 2018-2019 on: June 20, 2019, 09:07:13 AM

Bez obzira koliko BTC vrijedi u tom trenutku.
Kako je pogrešno?

Kupio si 2 puta 5 BTC-a za 2 puta 50,000$ i prodao si 1 puta 5 BTC za 100,000$.

Ili, ako hoćeš, kupio si 10 puta 10 BTC-a za 10 puta 10,000$ i prodao pet puta 1 BTC za 100,000$.
1971  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez na bitcoin i kriptovalute 2018-2019 on: June 19, 2019, 04:07:23 PM
Kako to njima dokazati?

1972  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 0.02BTC Scam Attempt (old stretagy) Flag created on: June 19, 2019, 03:19:01 PM
Supported flag.

Small question for OP - did you send them screenshot that you are holding 0.5BTC in your wallet, because rules are:

Hello everyone, 1 BTC giveaway happening right now from one of the biggest crypto companies to first 3 people!

Requirements:

1) You should have at least Member Account
2) You should have at least 0.5 BTC in your BTC wallet

All you need to do is contact us by Telegram @btcexchangegiveaway as quickly as possible with the screenshots proof.
I believe if you did you can create red flag.

If you didn't they can also say that you have tried to scam them which resulted in damage (damage can also be mental) and place red flag on you:

Quote
This user violated a casual or implied agreement with me, resulting in damages.

This might sound like CH's point, but law and justice are not the same thing and you can unintentionally fuck up and get red flag while exposing scammers  Wink
1973  Economy / Reputation / Re: This is not fair, LFC_Bitcoin on: June 19, 2019, 02:07:24 PM
You have referred some example where the amount is higher than the one in this case.
Yep, well, I have referred example where amount is lower (in loan thread). There are plenty examples, from newbie to legendary members, scamming probably from 20$ above. I would have posted better examples but unfortunately theymos made access to trust pages very painful, these accounts came first to my mind.

Btw, warningsigns started with 0.075BTC loan, if I am not wrong that was around 650$ back then (this loan request is around 450$) and amount eventually become big (IIRC it was loan - return - loan - return - loan - partially return - loan - exit scam).
1974  Economy / Lending / Re: Urgently wanted loan to pay Education Fees on: June 18, 2019, 11:19:24 PM
Not sure at all it can be seen as "High-Risk"

I believe the positive trust left here is both counter--productive and a bit childish, it simply makes no sense and makes less sense after this

I personally wouldn't lend to him either

lemipawa borrowed 0.05BTC from shasan a while back. I wouldn't have lent to them either, but I'm not going to leave a negative trust for that.

Shasan has been scammed several times already. For example, this hero member scammed him for 3+ times lower amount, or, 0.015BTC. It was also no collateral loan so I wouldn't say 0.05BTC is "borderline".

Difference between lemipawa and OP here is that lemipawa has trading experience and they signed message which they used in 2015, in my opinion risk is a way lower but still exist.

edited link.
1975  Economy / Reputation / Re: This is not fair, LFC_Bitcoin on: June 18, 2019, 10:08:37 PM
LFC_Bitcoin did the right thing, the wrong thing here is done by the DT bullshit propaganda lobby that give people negatives for no reason in the name of the so called "saving the forum" while they are digging the forum grave.

The flags were a great move by theymos which these bullshit propaganda lobby of course do not like.
I understand that you are butthurt because your account is still connected to scammerz accounts, you self vouched for payed gambling tips, lied and, to use timelord's words, "advocated physical violence", but why do you think LFC did the right thing? We posted our reasons why we agree or don't agree but I don't see yours, and at this moment your point looks like this:

LFC_Bitcoin did the right thing
1976  Economy / Reputation / Re: This is not fair, LFC_Bitcoin on: June 18, 2019, 08:12:17 PM
100% inappropriate. The OP of the thread is not posting from a newbie account/throwaway account.
~
He may it may not be untrustworthy for other reasons but the loan request is not appropriate.
Don't listen to QS, he thinks providing no collateral loan to account who doesn't have any trading history is not highly risky:

He is not a newbie, he is a hero member.
Oh, hero member can't scam, that must be it. Probably senior member can't scam,  legendary member can't scam and probably other ranks can't scam too.
1977  Other / Meta / Re: Trust flags on: June 18, 2019, 01:47:58 PM
What about alt abusers? flag type 1 is worthless in my opinion.
~
Managers will not see the flag.
You can still send them negative feedback(or, neutral) which managers will see and they can click trust to read why someone has -.

It is not that old system completely disappeared, it is still here, with some adjustments.
1978  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN] Sr. Member tvplus006 - 459 merits [all earned] on: June 17, 2019, 08:23:56 PM
Why is this scam buster and net positive user permabanned?

Someone who spends their free time to help people who are new in this space and people who fail to spot scamz.

Plagiarist and scumbag does not get ban for plagiarism but tvplus is permabanned.

Why "second chance rule" doesn't apply here?

Even if his wallet was hacked, the connection would still exist as it would show the person has the private keys on the same computer even if in different wallet files.
