This problem is well known. It's very real. It's not yet apparent to all, but clean, safe to drink, water is a rare commodity in most of Asia and in several African countries. German philosopher Ernst Junger explained it. First, there was the forest, then men came, and then it was desert. Those are not its exact words, but that's the idea. The rich countries are also affected, the droughts are getting worse and worse in California. In Australia too, restrictions are getting normal.

This is a SCAM! And I don't like it because I've seen some very good people working for the Red Cross, in Africa. The Red Cross has no current operation in Liberland. People interested in the Red Cross can get information on their official website: https://www.icrc.org/. I understand some people are trying to set up a new country. They may find supporters, and I kinda like the idea, but if those people begin acting like con artists, by identifying themselves as members of respected organizations to gain financial support, they should not get any help from anyone. If anyone here wants to help the Red Cross, they can help via their website. The Red Cross badly needs money for operations in Ukraine and Sudan. Not in Liberland.

Actually, it may not last more than a few days as the deal requires Greece to pass some strong reforms this week, and there's no majority in the Greek parliament to support those. The only hope is that some members of the Greek opposition will back the reforms.

Modifying genes is nothing new. Mankind has been genetically modifying genes in plants since Mendel's pea plants, and the agricultural revolutions that enable us to feed the planet were done through gene manipulation (weeding out less desirable traits through generations and amplifying desirable ones). The only thing different now is the sophistication and the commercialization of it, which is perhaps why the tin foil hatties get nervous.
Of course, it's new. It was impossible in the past. It has always been possible to select seeds, but the things they do know like making plants unable to reproduce themselves, or making plants insect-resistant was unthinkable in the past. Humanity has fed itself for several thousands years before genes were discovered, less than 200 years ago.

I could use your service but I don't want to initiate a free chat session. No way! Let's say I would charge one BTC per hour, and I want to see the money in my wallet, with the transaction confirmed, before starting the chat session. Then what's your fee? How come the FAQ doesn't say anything about it?
|

It's only logic. The service provided by Uber is the exact opposite of what's BTC is providing. Uber keeps track of all your movements, and it wants to use credit cards because there's your name on it. Uber has no interest in tracking someone if it doesn't know his name! Everything's centralized with Uber, and it works just like the mafia in Sicily. All shopkeepers must pay the pizzo, or a fee to the mafia, and if you want to use Uber say, in India or Germany, you must pay a fee to the capo in California.
I'm a big fan of BTC, but I would never, never use Uber or a similar service. I use taxis or public transport, and I pay cash. No name, and no tracking, because I don't support fascism.

I want the network to work! So I give full support to the idea of a raise in the minimum transaction fee, and to the minimal amount which could make a transaction. I suggest 0.005 BTC as the smallest allowed transaction. I understand many will be against the idea, but we need to find a solution to the current problem.
lol man with faucet i cant get sweet amount a day ,yeahhh people working faucet for couple weeks just to pay fee, it's bad man That's very precisely what I want. I want all faucets to disappear, I've already written about that subject in this discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=980573.0BTC hasn't been created for faucets, cam girls nor online gambling. BTC is a new currency for people to make business with.

I've been paid! The second transaction went through, and got confirmed. BTC works still the network isn't perfect. The troubles we've experienced show some improvements are needed.

I want to say details about my product. we produce Sanitary napkin, Tissue, Diapers, we are in introduce step and we have not budget limit for advertisement our product are more quality than Competitors.
I've been working in marketing for a few years, and with marketing people for a much longer time, but I have no experience at all, regarding diapers and tissues. All members of this forum shall be honored that you came here for help, but there shall be other boards with people more qualified. Or do you plan to sell diapers for BTC? There might be an opportunity there, as you may be the first one on that promising field.

Don't worry, it happened to me before Just wait. You will see the money back in your client after a while. The network is quite good when it comes to forget transactions which cannot go through because of insufficient fees.

Yes, definitely. Very few people are anarchists. Billions like authority, armies, flags, regulations and uniforms. In many countries, there are national days, with soldiers making a parade in the streets and some people say that's beautiful. I suggest they go a zoo to watch monkeys masturbating, it's the same thing, only more fun.
No authority behind BTC. Will the miners act like monkeys? No wonder some people are afraid. It's dangerous to cross the street, too. Some people should stay behind closed doors for safety.

I was about to report that my payment was still unconfirmed after 72 hours, then I've noticed the date. It has changed. The transaction which was launched 73 hours ago has disappeared without a trace, but there's a new one from Bitmixer of the same amount which is 22 hours old. It's still unconfirmed but at least, I see someone at Bitmixer has seen the problem, and they're trying something . I guess they're suffering from the network's troubles as much as we do. Probably even more.

I've had 2 transactions this week. One went fine and fast, the other remains unconfirmed after 49 hours. Something needs to be done. Increase block size, increase the minimum fee, increase the minimal amount to make a transaction... I'm not enough of a techie to know which solution is the best, but something needs to be done!

Not easy, because rental companies see a credit card as some kind of qualification, besides a way of payment. You've got to have a driver's license for more than 3 years, you've got to be over 21, and you've got to have a credit card. If you don't, they'll be suspicious since it's so easy to get one.
I don't expect this to change soon. I remember asking a rental agency in Cannes about that very precise subject, and they said that even to rent a moped, a credit card is necessary. Cards are everywhere in Europe, but maybe in some African countries, it would be possible to rent without one. You've got to travel to countries where most of the population is unbanked.

I wonder if I'll live live long enough to see some kind of a peace deal between the Pakis and the Indians. I guess not. And since both have nuclear abilities, many people will keep worrying about their poor relations. Happily, I'm not much concerned. I've never been close to their border and I don't plan to go there ever.
They were one country in the past. Brits divided them and made them hate and fight each other for the profit of a western world. If they start a nuclear war then america and britain would be laughing at them. I know the past, but there's a real difference now. Pakis are muslims whereas Indians are hindus or sikhs, and they don't get along well. I guess many hindus would be happy to see the few muslim indians emigrate to Pakistan. Things would be easier.

I hadn't experienced it, but it's now obvious the attack on the network is very real. My payment from Bitmixer is still unconfirmed after more than 48 hours. I'm not enough of a techie to understand everything but BTC needs to change to avoid problems like this.

The market rules. I have an old picture in my wallet. It's worthless to everyone, but it's very valuable to me. Maybe 1 million people say BTC are valuable, so it's definitely valuable. That value is hardly related to the cost of mining, but everything's like that. When department stores are making sales, you see plenty of stuff with a 50% rebate. The value has changed but the goods didn't.

I can't understand why the Greeks are so awful. They had their referendum last Sunday, the whole of Europe was waiting for them to go back to the negotiating table on Monday, but they waited till this late evening to show some proposals. 5 months of bargaining already, and this isn't over, they just made us wait another 4 days. They want a debt reduction? A haircut as some people like to say, I suggest they'll get one, a small one, on the very condition they leave the European Union for good.
The European people and the European currency would be better without them.
