So much for the people saying that Britain shall leave the EU for fear of a muslim invasion from the continent. The muslims are already inside, and they are winning elections. But considering the British have caused so much havoc in the Middle East, creating the Iraki kingdom with a foreign Sunni king no local wanted, creating Israel against the Palestinians, I guess it's only justice that muslims conquer London today, and the whole of the UK tomorrow.

The UK is doomed, and I certainly won't cry for it. My worry is that the EU is being caught in a squeeze between muslim Britain and muslim Turkey.

I think you are mixing up the UK with the US.  People don't really care too much what religion you are in the UK, they just want to be able to control the number of people who come in as we are pretty overpopulated already!

I don't think a British mayor has any power of control regarding immigration, but I see the mayor of London as a lighthouse for all muslims everywhere in the world. They've seen it's possible to be successful in Britain, and they will all want to immigrate to the UK, now. Algeria or Morocco aren't democracies. There's a ruling class there, and by seeing how open (to foreign cultures, ideas and people) the British society, all young men in North Africa will be even more willing to move to the UK.

Then you have people like

Angelina Jolie Pitt: ‘Don’t Brexit, and Keep your Borders Open to Migrants’

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/05/16/angelina-jolie-borders-open-migrants/

 Roll Eyes

Hollywood people, totally ignorant of how the average folks lives. Still, I don't think brexit could change many things regarding immigration. All the young men sleeping rough in Calais and waiting to cross the channel don't care much about the UK being in or out of EU.

Check the link above to see a graph of BTC's market cap since its creation. You've got to think long term. I'm expecting a 20 billion market cap before 2020.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin halving almost there... brace yourselves :-) on: May 16, 2016, 09:32:44 PM
Hey, cool it!
Halving isn't this month, nor next one. I know some speculators are already red hot, but to the average bitcoiners, there's still nothing to see or hear.

I'm no moderator, but I created this topic and I would appreciate if you were more respectful in your posts. Thanks.

Dont judge the person from his religion, but judge the person from the achievement, not all muslim are bad person, all the religion teach us to be a better person

Well, I'd love to but I've traveled. I've been everywhere in Europe and in a few muslim countries, too. Sorry, but they don't compare. Europe is a much, much nicer place to live, with more freedom, and more opportunities. I've also been to muslim neighborhoods in France and Belgium, and they're assuredly the worst parts of these countries.
You may be right that Muslim neighborhoods in France and Belgium are not so safe and that many young people there don't have future etc.
The problem is that Europe is in a great economic crisis and that there are fewer jobs, especially for uneducated people, and most of such people are unfortunately Muslims.
If this young people can't find job or finish good university or high school, they don't have chance for good future and often become criminals or even worse, become radicalized.
It's not only their fault but government is also responsible, and indirectly all society.
It's very complicate social problem.
On the other hand, Muslims who were given the opportunity to study and take a responsible positions in the society, showing how the Muslims can contribute to society.
It's not black and white picture, so we can't generalize.

The European muslim neighbordhoods are only one side of the equation. My last time in the Middle East, I was in Bahrein, and there's only one thing to say about it. It's a f*cking boring country. Don't go there! The people are rich, I've seen plenty of youngsters driving fancy cars, but there isn't a single cool place to have a drink and chit chat with local women in the entire country.

1226  Economy / Economics / Re: General Panama Papers Discussion on: May 15, 2016, 06:00:57 PM
This shows that the losers who don't have an offshore bank account are ready to do everything to ruin the successful people who have one.
Tax heavens were invented because most countries are hell! I love BTC because it will enable the middle class to afford all the advantages of a tax heaven without the high cost.

The people that can't afford having a tax heavens aren't losers, they are just fucked by the system, I doubt you have enough money to get away with a tax heaven account and so do I. Most people are stuck in this loophole where you can't make enough money and if you start making you get fucked by taxes. Most people with offshore accounts are people with tons of connections that come from decades of family tradition. Then we have the big boys like Google and Apple paying next to nothing legally while the rest of people are forced to pay higher taxes. So there is to options: you either put a global tax for everyone so it's fair, or (since this is not very realistic) you use something like Bitcoin to defend against this scam against the working class or the small businessman.

Of course, you will always end up being forced to pay tax if you want to buy real state or a car or something like that anyway.

Yes, nice addition. Very often, people end as losers without having any other choice. You have to really want it to escape tax and mediocrity, but I've done it. I would have stayed in my native country, I would have ended as a loser. No doubt. But I escaped, and it doesn't cost much to open and have an offshore bank account if you're smart.

Guys! This article and that list of countries is more than 2 years old. Everything has changed since then. The same team ought to make a new list.
1230  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Do you unconditionally trust your government? on: May 11, 2016, 05:39:27 PM
"Your government"?

The only person I know who can speak about "my government" is the Queen of England. There's no government anywhere which I shall call my own, but I government which have subjects.

It's not that I don't trust any government, the way I see it I don't want to have a government. I'm perfectly happy to live without one, and without financing one by paying income tax.
1231  Economy / Economics / Re: How many % of your portfolio is in bitcoin ? on: May 11, 2016, 05:35:58 PM
I believe I have about 5% in BTC and 0.5% in altcoins. Actually, I'd be happy to invest more in BTC but I'm waiting for the scalability issue to be solved.
1232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London's mayor is a muslim! on: May 10, 2016, 10:47:50 PM
I remember the same concerns when Obama became the president of US. Lots of guys are saying that Obama will start WW3 but it didn't happen. Same thing on this one, him being a Muslim doesn't mean chaos. It will be an insult to the voters thinking of such.

I don't think you can compare with Obama. He's black but he thinks like a white Christian guy, muslims don't. Each time I've traveled to a muslim country, I've seen differences with what I'm used to see, and it's much more than women's clothing.

I imagine the new mayor could request all hotel rooms to have an arrow. Few people would criticize, and yet it would be a sign London's becoming muslim, but I'm repeating myself, I would not see anything wrong with that. The British have been invaders for so long, in so many countries, it's about time, they get invaded. And dominated.
1233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Brexit' could trigger World War Three, warns David Cameron on: May 10, 2016, 10:36:36 PM
It's a bit far-fetched, but there's no denying Brexit would destroy what's left of European unity. There shall be a new Europe between Germany, the Netherlands and the few countries which have finances in order, but Switzerland, though not in the EU, would call for a revision of its partnership with the EU, Spain would relaunch pressure against Gibraltar, Greece would loose most of its supporters to stay, and Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and the Czech republic would form a new bloc not afraid to stand up against Germany. Don't think any of these could lead to a war, but tensions would rise.
1234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London's mayor is a muslim! on: May 08, 2016, 06:20:49 PM
EU and UK well deserved this. They were too soft against muslims, they let them in high numbers, they failed to educate them, they let women wear burqa, they let them build mosques... Now you really don't have a chance to get rid of them. EU is over.

More than that, the Londoners wanted this. I mean it's not only muslims who voted for Kahn. He won with a huge majority, meaning thousands of non-muslims voted for him.

religion is not a consideration for choosing a leader. because the leader is he who can lead people to become better, set the conditions and welfare of its people. leader is he who dared to bear the burden and be accountable to the people of her position. leader is he who deserves to be representative of the people.

It is because muslims are against equality. 500 years ago, Christians were slaves in North Africa. 200 years ago, in the Ottoman empire, there were 2 tax systems, one for muslims, one for non-msulims. IS has replicated this today. And if you go to Dubai, which is a great place to do business, you cannot register a company if you aren't muslim. And don't even think about speaking to a muslim woman!
1235  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London's mayor is a muslim! on: May 07, 2016, 06:35:12 PM
london has fallen

And it's only the beginning.
I don't know much about muslims in London, but I've been living in countries where I was part of a minority group. The muslims are a minority in London, but it's a huge signal now that one of them is in the town hall. They will not feel they're a minority anymore. The fully veiled women who are currently only in muslim neighborhoods will be all over the city in a few years.

2 years ago, I would have laughed at anyone telling me that Boris would be replaced by a muslim, but it has happened.
1236  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: iPayYou Launches New Bitcoin Wallet, With Ability to Cancel Transactions on: May 07, 2016, 06:23:25 PM
No, please! It's a great thing that BTC transactions cannot be cancelled. I'm also frequently making SEPA transfers, which cannot be cancelled, and that's fine. Just like when I'm giving cash to someone. Why should it be possible that a transaction be cancelled, once done? It shouldn't be.

1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin not have been a better option for Zimbabwe? on: May 06, 2016, 10:19:11 PM
I estimate that one third of the population doesn't have electricity nor access to clean water, so the use of something like BTC is a distant dream few are making. They have mobile phones, but no subscriptions, and some people pay one tenth of their monthly income on phone! It's very different from the first world...
1239  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video Shows Train With "Hundreds of M1 Abrams Battle-Tanks" on: May 05, 2016, 10:23:31 PM
So what? You've never seen a military convoy? This happens all the time. I've seen military convoys in several countries. In Germany, I've seen one on the autobahn. There was only the left lane left to civilians, with one dozen tanks driving, slowly, on the right lane.

Good news. I created a topic a while ago to tell I'm holding some Ether, I'm not the only one. I'm also holding some dogecoin. I don't know what litecoin is.
