I'm hugely impressed with this. I guess I'm an old cartesian guy, but I can't imagine buying a car without test-driving it first, but we've seen today more than 200,000 people ordering a car without having seen it. All there is to see is a small youtube vid, the equipment of the car is unknown, just like all its specifications. Frankly, you'd have to be crazy to buy a car with those conditions, but 200,000 people just did.

Correct, if he is who he claims to be, it should be very easy to prove. He shall own the first BTC ever mined, or that kind of stuff. This website badly needs to hire journalists to check the facts. What are the facts? How many BTC was stolen? Was the cryptocurrency stolen BTC? Was that cryptocurrency which was stolen? Who was stolen and who made the steal? There's an information in the title, but there isn't any more information in the article. That's how you spread false news.

Hey, banks have huge servers too! And I've used e-banking for many years. You also need electricity for printing banknotes in highly secured factories with big trucks to move them to banks which are also highly secured with cameras and plenty of energy-consuming stuff. So the cash I have in my pocket doesn't use any energy, but fiat is energy intensive too.

They survive just the same way companies offering free email services. Their idea is to have a large audience interested in a precise subject. When you have that, you'll see opportunities to monetize your website, by selling services or acting like exchanges. I don't think companies behind online wallets are making big money right now, but they have a future, as less and less people will download the whole blockchain, which is getting too big.

Well, there was substantial time spent to create this topic, but I'm afraid I have to say you can't seriously earn BTC with faucets or signature campaigns. There are more possibilities with mining and trading, but I don't think a newbie can be successful there. Frankly, it's better to work at a fast food joint and buy BTC.

The big difference with planes or trains, is that they're not autonomous. They have a professional driver or pilot who is in charge. Furthermore, evrything will depend on the place you live. In the places I live, self-driven vehicles will remain the exception. Even in Europe, I drive at least once a month on a road which is unmapped, and in Africa there are cities with thousands of people without any road signs.

If you believe in the hydrogen economy some scientists are proposing, you shall believe in platinum, as fuel cells require some of the stuff. It's only very small quantities, less than 50 grams, but that still matters. I created a similar topic a few weeks ago. You can't deny that BTC has problems. The block size issue which limits growth should have been fixed last year. I guess many miners are resisting the change till the next halving. When that happen, several miners will suddenly find their mining unprofitable, so change shall be easier.

The people wants to see that the police is doing something. There are attacks, there are innocent people getting killed, so they must be arrests to show how effective the police is. It hardly matters that the few people arrested are real terrorists, but the French system isn't very harsh. If the guys arrested are really innocent, they'll be freed quickly.

Really? I don't think BTC, nor the blockchain is as safe as gold bars or a thick stack of banknotes inside a money box in an underground bank vault in Geneva. It's true you can hide some money from governments with BTC, but I believe Swiss banks are better. Unfortunately, Americans don't have this choice anymore.

It has become next to impossible for an American to open a bank account in Switzerland, but this doesn't show that Swiss banks are bad, or inferior to BTC, it just tells the world that the US government is a BIG BROTHER government which wants to have full control of what its citizens are doing with their money.
