I caught the last two sets of Alcaraz v Draper last night, Draper did really well by winning
the first set and almost bringing the third set to a tie break.
There are a lot of players present at the ATP Basel who have been making headlines recently,
Felix AA and Rune! I think this will be very interesting to see how these games turn out when
these young guns meet each other.
It was finally a strong performance from Alcaraz after some setbacks. I'm glad to see the number 1 seed winning again. It was not clear, or at least I was not sure how the game would end after Alcaraz lost the first set. But Alcaraz made a comeback. He did well but I also think Draper put his heart and soul into this match. But in the end, it was not enough for Draper. I think we are going to see a clash between young players. Especially players who are not only young but also really competent players in this game. Expectations are going to be high from Alcaraz. As we have discussed Alcaraz mentality is not that of a kid anymore, he has focused, but sometimes there are mishaps and it's understandable. You can't take anything from Draper, he fought good in the first set winning it, but I guess Alcaraz have to remind himself why he is the top seed and it could be just enough to motivate him and won the next two games and a close third set. Later we will see Rune vs Alex De Minaur, and this is going to be a good match. |

Hmm, not sure if this could be considered as big win but last Saturday we went to have some fun in a land base casino and I immediately won $500 dollars on slots and roulette. And I still continue to play with my friends and see if I can stretch my luck, unfortunately, I lost around $100, but I quickly stop because I know that I might lose all the winnings that I got. Same as you, I don't even know who that DK Yoo is or what is his preferred sport. What I only know is this is just an exhibition fight that will be hold in the boxing ring. Also, I really don't find this match interesting at all because Manny Pacquiao's foe is not that known, it's just like Mayweather's opponents. But I will watch this fight because it's been a while since the last time I saw Pacquiao step foot on the ring to fight, hopefully, Pacquiao will fight someone veteran that is near his caliber. Hopefully! For us, he is not popular, but since the fight will be held in DK Yoo's home country of South Korea then expect that it will be a sell out crowd locally for them. Not sure if this is going to be stream around the world as most of Manny's fight. But if it is, then there could be some fans that are willing to watch this fight because they missed Manny inside the ring and this is the second opportunity for us to see him once again, although this is just a exhibition fight. So good choice of opponent for Manny and good place to start his career in the exhibition world. |

He got this case. He got the ticket, he got the proofs, and the company is trying to bribe him to not sue meaning he has a lot of sense in this lawsuit. Most of us would probably just take the L and get that $29,000, but luckily this man is very determined to get what he deserves. If anything, he could even get more than what he won if the court sees fit, and hopefully that would be the case to teach the lottery company a lesson that they cannot simply state that they voided winnings just because of an error on their part.
Nah, I will still get my winnings and will not accept that bribe. and since he has all the proofs and the ticket then there's no way that he is going to lose this one. Unless they bribe the judge and whoever is involved. But if this get the attention of the public, then there's no way that he should lose the case. Bitcoin price is not necessarily mean that the price will increase next year or before the year will run out, i know that cryptocurrency price is determine by the demands not by the month of the year, i can not guess that the price of Bitcoin will increase any moment from now, so therefore bitcoin price is something i believe the month of it doesn't matter any factor that is behind it.
Yes, cryptocurrency price doesn't determine by the month before it can pump higher or dump lower in the market, but it can increase higher more than $20,000 for traders to start making income before the end of the year. I don't think, the price will decrease more than $15,000 before it will increase higher in a way both long term traders and short term traders will believe that the price of Bitcoin will definitely hit $40,000 before the end of November. Now that many traders has prepared for the bullish market to come before they can sell to make a huge amount of money so that they will also have the opportunity to prepare for another bearish market to come for them to buy and hold. Obviously, it is not determined by month, but if you look at bitcoin's history, usually the last quarter, we might see some run specially in December, before the Christmas holiday. If it increase to $20,000 then it's good, as the price is really on a decline and then trading sideways for the last couple of months. The fight won't be easy for the both fight, the two men are strong fighters. The issue akaho has is age, I don't know if age will a bareer for him not to be able to fight this fight. Casimero is another rough fighter that I know he can challenge Akaho in this fight. I would like to see casimero how he will fight this match .
@lionheart78 - thanks for the info, yeah it seems that Akaho had beaten a lot of Filipinos in the past. And it just shows that this two nation are really arch-rival in this weight categories. Might be sweet revenge for Casimero here if he can spin the storyboard in that sense. It's because they come from the same region and so their is rivalry between this 2 countries since way back when boxing was just starting. I still remember Penalosa, can't remember the weight class though, when he had like fight a Japanese which he can't really beat. And so the rivalry still continues today with Akaho beating a lot of Filipinos. But most probably they could have been B level fighter. For Kambosos, it will be a difficult road for him, losing back to back and the best thing is to go up in weight. But then again, he doesn't have any power to be honest, I don't know how he knock down Teo in their fight, maybe Lopez underestimated him.
He should move if he can't make the weight. I remember during the first fight, he was off in the first try. Although me made the weight in the second fight, he seems to be very dry and lean. That might be his next move because he can't really defeat Haney or at least give him a hard time. That way, he won't be having some struggles in his weight if he indeed have some issues woth it and it's no use in staying the same division if he can't be a star. Kambosos' problem is Haney himself. Kambosos was undefeated before confronted with Haney's boxing strategies. Haney seemed to be Kambosos' kryptonite. Kambosos was strong. He even defeated Teofimo Lopez. It's just that boxers have different strategies. Haney was more like Mayweather. And that's something Kambosos' found hard to solve. He was a puzzle Kambosos really failed to solve. He doesn't necessarily have to go up in weight though. Those 2 losses from Haney is just the beginning, he only had 20 fights, and those 2 losses of him will make his opponent so confident in betting on him. usually, when a fighter had losses already, he is not the same anymore, just like what happened to Bronner, he was once undefeated but when he experience a lose, that continues to happen until he losses his career. It could be just I think Kambosos will have to make a difficult decision to whether go up in weight or stay in this division and continue to campaign and fought some notable fighters again. Fury vs Usyk have been postponed for next year if I'm not mistaken as Usyk said that he wanted to take a break. And then we have heard that Fury vs Joshua was also in the horizon, unfortunately the fight is also in a dead end.
Usyk wants to rest so he can heal properly physically from the fights he has been in this year already, we will see him in the ring again next year. Fury who is hungry for a fight and has been turned down by Anthony Joshua for that audience, will now fight Chisora for the third time who he has beaten twice before. Fury is in a high spirited mode and is promising a good fight, but since he wanted the Anthony Joshua challenge before which he didn't get heading to the fight with Usyk next year, his team should not want to be quick to see Chisora as a walk over. Chisora has lost twice already to Fury and knows exactly who he is getting into the ring with, he will not like to make it three times, and he was the winner in his last fight, maybe that's an indication that he has developed from the last time he was in the ring with Fury. I do agree, it's not that Usyk is trying to avoid Fury, but he just come from a struggling 12 round fight from Anthony Joshua. And so he has every right to rest for a while. While Fury is desperate to remain active this year, calls joshua but the fight didn't move forward. Now Chisora is the chosen one, but we all know that Chisora is no match for Fury. And whatever style Chisora shows in this fight, Fury will still win in my opinion. |

One thing that wasn't calculated when considering "competition is healthy" was the fact that not everyone would have the chance to purchase the same services or items. For example, at certain point companies started to stop manufacturing the best they could for as cheap as possible, and they started to create products that was the best but expensive for the rich people, and alternative cheap versions for the poor people. Same goes for service, you want to get a website made? There is a guy who can do it for 50 bucks, and another one who can for 50k dollars, not same results, and 50k can't be afforded by most, so we are stuck with bad results.
Financial capability is always a concern here, that's why there's a small business that are actually competing with the top brands by offering a cheaper alternatives and that's where the mass public are, many left with no choice but to deal with the cheaper option even if the quality is not that good. Every business have their own target market, many can stay within the competition while others can't, this is how business works and not everyone will always win. Yeah, and I guess it's 50/50 for us consumers, if there could be some competition that offers cheap alternative and it's good as the original or expensive one, then definitely, consumers will go and try and maybe stick with them. The problem is that those cheap alternatives will have to keep it that way, lower the price but the quality is still at par with the best. But as I have said, once they become famous or corner the majority, they started to raise the price as well. |

And as I have said before, I suspect that one reason beside the split and possible rematch clause, is the PPV price. Because as we all know there are a lot that it is streaming it for free and it we are going to see the numbers in most recent fights, it is on a decline. The Canelo vs GGG trilogy was just over 1 million buys and if I'm not mistaken, it fell to what it is expected or predicted to be around 1.3-1.5 buys. And so maybe this could be one sticking points, how much they will charge the viewing public, do they need to increased since this is a mega fight, or it is enough for $75-$79.99 price?

I submitted my vote to Casimero, this is going to be a big comeback fight for him so I think he will give his everything. And obviously the weight issues might not be evident as he has to move up 4 lbs heavier, so it will be easier for him to maintain that weight. Power? he can still bring it in I reckon, fighters usually has one weight to carry their power, but after that it might diminished. So I'm expecting Casimero to win via knock out or technical knock out when Akaho can't fight anymore.

Nice win by Tsitsipas tonight in Stockholm against Maxime Cressy.
Even with nice odds on the first set since the Greek was quoted up to @1.90 ( I was able to take a nice/comfortable @1.60).
Tsitsipas must be followed into this tournament. He is the first player of the seed, and he is playing at high level.
For sure he deserve some attention...
There is also a new entry into this tournament, the Czech player Jiri Lehecka. He has won against Dimitrov with some nice shot.
He is only 20 yo.
Tsitsipas has an amazing chance to win this tournament and finally win a trophy he is playing good and he has a good draw. Lehecka pulled a really big win against Dimitrov and Dimitrov had the win in the bag but just didnt focus enough in the tie break and went from 5-2 lead to 5-7 in the tie break I totally missed this one, I'm a big Tsitsipas fans but lately his game is going down. And so it's good to hear to win. He is the top seed in this tournament so hopefully he can live up to the billing. The Tsitsipas match though is very close against Cressy, it was two tie break set. So hopefully whoever he plays next in the quarter finals tomorrow, it will be a good match or possibly 3 setter as I will bet on the Over. |

I would rather lose all my money than go through KYC.
I'm not a big fish in gambling anyway, so why would I go to KYC when I don't win that huge although I bet on different sports. Haney was smart because he made the right adjustment, but when Haney adjusted, Kambosos should also counter it, but it didn't happen, he stick with his strategy despite the fact that Haney had already read it, Kambosos was lucky that Haney is not a KO artist, if he was, that fight would certainly end in KO.
I think the outcome would be different if Haney is a knock-out artist as he will be the aggressor and prone to Kambosos' counters just like what happened to Teofimo Lopez. Haney's style has brought him this far and the only downside of his style is how to draw a large crowd to watch his fights because, to be honest most of the fans are not excited to watch his fights. It could be mate because Haney will definitely not try to be aggressor round 3 up to the last round. Maybe he felt that Kambosos has no power in him, as he can eat everything that George throw and then he shows that somewhat he has some when he beat Kambosos to the punch and then batter him the full 12 rounds causing Kambosos face to swell and cut with blood. But if George has power, like le't say Ryan Garcia, it could be a different outcome and strategy for Devin Haney and his team as they will have to avoid that power punches and he could be more defensive. That was also the only time I saw that Haney was very aggressive, he was supposed to play safe and stay technical all throughout the game, but maybe he knows that fans does not like that style, they want an entertaining one, so Haney just trying to please the fans and indeed he won. Yes and he has adjusted to Kambosos power, and so he was able to absorb it without any issues or problem in his chin. And then most probably he wanted to show more and make it as entertaining for the Australian fans although he is beating their very own boxer. And at least they are satisfied with the fight itself, they pay big money about it and it's just so they have the right to see and be entertained. Although it is a one sided beating, Haney shows different bag of tricks and it is very exciting to see him with that style against Loma. |
