21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Future after Elon Musk Buy Twitter ? on: May 02, 2022, 02:53:32 PM
We should not take this seriously that Elon bought Twitter so its nothing to do with Dogecoin in my opinion but some people are making this news as hype for Dogecoin. Yes if he sells premium membership of the Twitter he might can add crypto features If it will happen then we can say Doge can grow but still its very early to comment on this.

Exactly. People nowadays believes just about anything just because they see dogecoin being hyped by Elon a couple months ago, they are already assuming and expecting that he will utilize doge coin as he creates new things or features on twitter. I just wish that people do not buy a lot just for this rumor alone. It would be better to just buy a considerable amount for speculative value since Elon hasn't really mentioned anything about his future plans yet. Heck, he may even go and create his own token to use as a utility token for twitter. Who knows, right?
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger USB problem in the airport on: May 01, 2022, 03:31:30 PM
While this can be seen as paranoia by some, I myself would prefer being called too paranoid because of being overly cautious with possibilities rather than regret. A wise decision would be to just keep the seed phrase and the private key om a piece of paper or on an a phone that you do not use for online stuff. I myself wouldn't mind going the extra mile or going through tedious stuff if it means I can keep my hard earned assets safe.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: May 01, 2022, 01:52:58 PM
As what I can see, Elon's influence over the market is getting smaller and smaller as time goes by. Maybe because people are starting to wake up and don't want to be a a part of the common sheeple that follows any trend that this guy's every tweet starts. Right now, I think that some just follow the hype caused by Elon to take advantage of the sheeple.

And about doge, I really never heard nor see anything about Elon wanting to use it as aul utility token for Twitter as of the moment. It is the hopium of the sheeple that has created this rumor and made it spread like wild fire making more unsuspecting newbies to buy and again suffer losses as butcoin drags most of the altcoins down as well at the moment. i just wish more people would try to be smarter with their decisions.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What might occur on the next bear market on: May 01, 2022, 01:06:22 PM
If a massive drop really does happen like the past bear seasons, then what you're saying will most likely happen. People should be prepared although I am still bullish biased for this year. Have long position and buy orders on spot for bitcoin at 37500-37000. Of course with toght stoplosses. If those orders get filled and stoplesses get triggered, I'd be willing to book profits on my other altcoins and prepare to DCA btc and ethereum on spot while keeping an eye out for a reversal to buy back the altcoins I let go of. Plans in this industry don't go the way you want them to all the time so I am willing to adjust depending on the situation. Hope others are prepared as well wherever bitcoin goes after this month.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentinian Government Ready to Take Advantage of Crypto Holder on: April 30, 2022, 05:22:52 AM
Well, if we really try to understand it, taxes after all are in no doubt just and vital responsibility of any country citizen. No one should really be exempted from this since it helps the country itself with a lot of things regardless of the corrupt government. What's wrong though is if governments impose unreasonable tax to use crypto enthusiasts which I wish they never do. Otherwise, goodbye custodial wallets and welcome back non custodial wallets. I really don't mind a few hassles if it protects me and my hard earned assets from unreasonable taxes and worse case freezing or total confiscation.
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Let's Prepare Bitcoin World War 3 in 2033 after the Grand Financial Crash in2027 on: April 30, 2022, 03:54:23 AM
I don't know if you are serious about all that you are saying right now but I gotta say, I like the way it is being delivered. I can't believe that I actually spent time in finishing to read it and trying to understand the thought behind your post(prophecy) despite how confusing for me the way it jumps from one thing to another is. And you know what, I found some part of it pretty interesting, reasonable and somewhat likely to happen. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens next to prove your prophesies wrong or right.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where Bitcoin has been googled the most? on: April 30, 2022, 02:23:46 AM
Damn, I never expected to not see countries that are very pro bitcoin in this list specially El Salvador. It seems like the people of El Salvador really aren't that curious with bitcoin and may have been just forced to adapt because of the government. With this, we can easily understand that mass adoption cannot be forced. Only when bitcoin and the other altcoins don't get talked crap about by influential people will we see a genuine increase on the number of mass adoption around the world. And only in such conditions should governments try to slowly legalize bitcoin and not as fast as El Salvador which has caused a failure.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 29, 2022, 11:00:58 AM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?

Mostly, I flip coins or just take little chunks of profits from assets I have to buy a completely new coin. But my maximum number of top altcoins to hold is just 10. While for start ups, or shitcoins mostly 5-10, maximum would be 15 since I do not keep track of these shitcoins unless I really like it and each coin would only take up 5-15% of my shitcoin capital which is 30% of my overall capital. I also stake some token and do yield farming but only a few since I only trust a few of what I see right now. And then there's NFTs which are pretty fun to flip and collect.
29  Other / Archival / Re: How will the stock market crash affect the price of bitcoin in 2022? on: April 29, 2022, 09:55:07 AM
While I am expecting crypto assets to follow the movements of stocks when a significant movement happens, I also am more leaned on the idea of bitcoin being a protective asset having the same reasoning as what OP mentioned. This is how I am seeing it : short-term, big movements on stocks will affect crypto assets mainly bitcoin. Long-term, little to no affect or would more likely push bitcoin further up. Still though, I am not sure enough with this thus I do not bank on it that much yet. What I plan to do for now is slow investing and observe.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to $DOGE after Elon Musk bought Twitter? on: April 29, 2022, 09:06:26 AM
Why many are relating DOGE with the acquisition of Musk on Twitter?
Is it because Musk hyped DOGE a few years ago and now they are connecting it to him again.

Well, some are saying that DOGE might be used as a tipping tool in Twitter since it already is a private company and anything Elon wants to add on it will be added. In the end, this is just a rumor and there are no signs that he will do it. Right now, there are no correlation between DOGE and Musk buying twitter though DOGE's priced jumped by at least 20% just this day. Cheesy.

Well, that's your classic crypto hopium. As long as there is a slight connection or possibility most of the sheeple go bonkers over it and then gets rekt and then starts rage blaming whoever they can. If you go and try to look on some of Elon's tweets, you will find dozens of people taking about losing money and all because of him. Although, there is really a chance that DOGE will get mentioned again by Elon and may even be used on twitter but I think he'd rather create an altcoin specially for twitter instead. That's what I am speculating about.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to $DOGE after Elon Musk bought Twitter? on: April 26, 2022, 05:48:03 AM
To be honest, I don't trust this pump just yet. A few scalps should still be good though but not that much. I am still looking at some indicators for longer timeframes so I can confirm for myself whether we are now bound for more upside or this is just another fake breakout. But yes, you just cannot deny that Elon once again influenced that market. Although not that much compared to the past, it is still quite good considering the current market conditions. I am pretty curious though as to what his future plans are for twitter and for doge. I gotta admit, I am very interested.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: How Sweden Sends Just 1% of Its Trash to Landfills on: April 26, 2022, 03:35:21 AM

The tricky part about this is that the majority of people nowadays are selfish and does not care for anyone but themselves and are mostly nearsighted. As long as they are not the ones who suffer, then it doesn't matter which is such a disgusting mindset. And the worse part is that the people who actually does or promotes the right things are being ridiculed or being laughed at. That is how toxic people are nowadays. You do wrong, you're cool. You do the right thing, you're boring.

And the government? Well, some may be pushing such ideals but most would not prioritize it since most of the governments just cannot unite having personal issues with political parties and all. Plus personal interests and greed. That's just how the world is today and it is eating up most of the countries and their resources. Sad part is that it has become the norm and would probably just worsen over the years.

Again, until the effects are overly massive and directly affects our daily lives, I doubt that people would really take this issue seriously. Only thing we can do is start the change with ourselves and do not get discouraged even when the world does not care. Because some people lose motivation when they see that their efforts have too little to no effect. Trust me, your efforts matter. Another person doing the right thing is what the world critically needs today. One way or another people near or around you will get influenced by you and that itself is a huge difference.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 26, 2022, 02:58:21 AM
~

Yup, have heard of these and more. The thing about exchange hacks is that if the funds you kept is big enough, then it would be worth it to chase after it and go through the effort of hiring a lawyer or something. But, if it isn't that much or is all a person has because of earning it online and has no capabilities to hire a good lawyer, the person has no choice but to let go of such funds. Still, it is better when the funds get lost on an exchange. The bigger problem here is when some regulation changes or whatever problem and your funds get frozen, worse case impossible to take out. Of course there are warnings form exchanges when some things get changed. The problem is that not all of the people can check every now and then about crypto. Pretty careless as an investor you may say but has already happened couple of times, even with the people I know personally. So yes, best place is your wallet. As what you have said, "Not your keys, not your coins."
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Fiat Will Always Be The Norm on: April 25, 2022, 12:42:55 PM
fiat looks ordinary to those who don't care about the existence of crypto. they think crypto is the same as stocks, so it doesn't interfere with fiat. especially in areas where life is still primitive, which is still lagging behind in technology and only uses fiat as a transaction tool in their country of course fiat will run normally. For those of us who already know the benefits of crypto, of course, we no longer prioritize fiat. we only use fiat to buy goods or daily bills. the rest prefer to invest in crypto.

Even the people that know crypto currencies or are pro crypto currencies are still going hold onto fiat because as you mentioned, we use fiat to buy goods or daily bills. Talking about priorities then for sure, crypto would be one of the most prioritized for crypto enthusiasts. The thing is that we are talking about fiat being the norm and why it would always be that way. On a broader sense though, we can only say for sure for the near future but not in the far far future because given the right circumstances, people will always choose the thing that gives most benefits and those conditions may be met in the far future.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: How Sweden Sends Just 1% of Its Trash to Landfills on: April 25, 2022, 11:38:25 AM
Sweden is really amazing to actually be able to pull this off. Just shows how much the country values nature, most countries wouldn't even prioritize solving the problem with garbage.

~

The technology isn't really that much of a secret, most of the countries out there are capable of doing this or gaining such technology if they really wanted to. It's just that most of the countries right now are more focused on growth and strength which makes them ignore these problems. I am guessing people would only take garbage management seriously when the effects are already too large to ignore and are too severe to even solve or reverse. -Classic human nature.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 25, 2022, 10:58:21 AM
Being in this industry for years, I am telling you, don't keep majority of your funds in an exchange for too long, or at least spread it out on several exchanges if you are fond of staking and yield farming. Not that it doesn't exist in other platforms but considering that it may be easy for you to do these things on an exchange, I understand. I don't have to tell you the countless number of horror stories of several people all over the years that kept funds on exchanges long term. Just a little googling and you'd see what you are looking for, while the causes and effects for each story may differ from one another, they have one thing in common; the root of the problem is keeping fund in an exchange.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUENGINE AND THE MODERN SCAM PART 1. on: April 24, 2022, 02:09:33 PM
You know what op, knowing that Mcafee is one of the people promoting the project, you should have known better. I mean, just think about what happened in the past. I admit, I actually got hyped by the Youc project. But not to the extent that I would fall in love with the coin. As soon as I could see profits more than my target, I have slowly converted my youc into other coins. I was continually converting as it went up even as it started going down again until my youc ran out and the coin just went lower and lower. It really pays to research about any asset that you are in and of course to not be greedy or let yourself fall in love with any asset that you are holding.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 24, 2022, 01:37:37 PM
~

I feel you brother, the airdrops nowadays are just too little or too useless and requires a lot of tasks. it's like doing free labor for those projects. How I miss the old days when you can get so much more from airdorps which can reach thousands of usd if you hit the right one and wait a little. Right now though, you really have to be so damn lucky to receive airdrops that could reach even just 100+usd without doing horrendous labor. But hey, you can check out some nft giveaways on twitter though. Not that it can give you several $$, but at least it ain't that much of a hassle and have more potential to go up if you really get lucky.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches maximum, target $80K BTC on: April 24, 2022, 12:44:21 PM
~
Well, people do have different tolerance on risks and have varying financial capabilities. I was just wishing that op didn't lose much because no matter how rich you are, losing will always leave a sour taste in your mouth. Now, gambling in trades and the good'ol traditional gambling sites, as a gambler, you should know that no matter where it is, if it has a sense of uncertainty of winning and losing, it is interesting to a gambler. What it comes down to is what interests a gambler has like sports betting, cards, or whatever. Some gamblers love to gamble on high lev trades as well since it is thrilling for them as much as it is thrilling for gamblers that gamble on sports. Specially those that have less knowledge about trading, lol. But hey, each to his own, as long as it is their money, they can do whatever they want with it.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches maximum, target $80K BTC on: April 23, 2022, 12:49:55 PM
After all the weeks of dumping and giving false hope and all I hope op didn't do high leverage trades that would've made him suffer huge losses. $80k was not an unreasonable goal at that time to be honest, even at this moment when the market seems very bearish, there is still a chance for bitcoin to reach $80k within this year. Classic hopium as you may see it but being in this industry for years, I don't disregard possibilities that most would think impossible anymore. Of course, unless it is way too unreasonable. Anyway, for the short term though, I am still expecting a pullback to 37800-38k-ish before another retest for the 44k-45k levels. When bitcoin gets past this resistance, it will be interesting to look at where bitcoin is about to go next like further up or back down for a bigger jump or to go even lower.
