India Women vs Bangla Women match has begun and Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl. India are 9 runs in 2 overs in their 20 overs match and India should make atleast 140 runs in the require overs to make the match tough and start picking up early wickets.

The Indian women's team has won the Asia Cup 6 times in the past. They posted a total of 112, which is not a good total in T20 matches. India managed to make a match out of it. 9 runs were required of the last over, but this time Bangladesh managed to scamper home.

Setting the course for real-world adoption: Head of Marketing and Strategy Development joins the team

https://medium.com/byteball/setting-the-course-for-real-world-adoption-head-of-marketing-and-strategy-development-joins-the-e7e653a07c4

Excellent news. Real world adoption seems to be the biggest of challenges for every crypto project, since in the end only a little community of crypto-believers is in fact trying to get some coins of whatever project hoping for a future success. Most of the platforms are still too complex to use for the average user. Byteball is one step forward in this regard, but a lot has still to be achieved until being ready for mass adoption.

very nice, we don't need binance or bitfinex, we need to sell souvenir in Milan for 10 % discount...

Ha ha. I understand your frustration. The price seems to be languishing behind other alts, in spite of the huge potential of Byteball. The solutions seem simple to get the price up - change the denomination to MB or KB and get it listed on Binance.
I think of it this way - when this does happen, we could see the price zoom. So Byteball is still one of the most undervalued coins.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

It doesn't matter how the government decides to classify it; it doesn't matter how the courts decide to treat it. What matters is how users treat Bitcoin. Right now, most of them are holding it and treating it as a store of value. They may not be using it on a transactional basis which would support its classification as a currency.

Flash Transfer: Bitcoin Hodlers Dumped $30 Billion Since December

From its price high in December of last year through April of 2018, BTC hodlers (supposed longer term investors) dumped $30 billion onto the market, shedding about half their collective positions just in December.

https://news.bitcoin.com/flash-transfer-bitcoin-hodlers-dumped-30-billion-since-december/

Analysis based on age of bitcoins in wallets is always going to be fraught with the danger of miscalculations. In the last year, there are many reasons why people may have moved coins - due to the introduction of segwit or to sell coins from the many forks. Even if some of the hodlers sold, it may not be because they are no longer bullish in the long term. It could be because they believed the 2017 frenzy was unjustified.
205  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06]Coinbase Acquires Investment Firms to Offer Regulated Crypto Securities on: June 08, 2018, 08:43:10 PM
Today, we’re announcing that Coinbase is on track to operate a regulated broker-dealer, pending approval by federal authorities. If approved, Coinbase will soon be capable of offering blockchain-based securities, under the oversight of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra).

your thoughts on it?

let the gold rush continue. the shovel salesmen are all setting up shop now! Tongue

this is what patrick byrne is trying to do with overstock's subsidiary, tZero. in q3 last year, patrick byrne said tZero would be the first digital securities exchange in compliance with SEC and FINRA guidelines.

looks like coinbase and circle are both trying to beat them to the punch.

this all tells me one thing: people saying ICOs are gonna die out have got it backwards. i think byrne is right---tokenization of securities on decentralized p2p platforms is only going to get more prevalent with time. ICOs are just the beginning.

Exactly. So now they will be able to carry illicit trading activities at a larger scale.

If they offer regulated securities for sale - it will come with full bells and whistles - all the Know Your Customer norms and Anti Money Laundering norms associated with the traditional exchanges. There may be illicit trading activities which go on, but no higher than the traditional exchanges.

What a wonderful performance from team of Afghanistan team they have won the 3 in 3 match against Bangladesh. the Rashid Khan become the no 1 in T20 bowling he going to make new records in all format of cricket soon.

Well Bangladeshi batsmen should have been more offensive in the last few overs as they had a few more wickets in hand. Ariful Haque should've tried going for fours or sixes in last few balls he played. Bangladeshi team got whitewashed and their media is now going to further ruin their team. Bad days for them, let's see if they can prepare better in upcoming months for the 2019 world-cup.

Bangladeshi batsmen lost the match in spite of having wickets in hand. They might have left too much to do at the end. I agree that they had to play Rashid carefully, but you cannot play the reputation of a bowler. Plus two run outs really cost them. They were done in by some fabulous fielding off the last ball, but Afghanistan deserved to win 3-0.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: June 05, 2018, 07:29:11 PM
So many crypto currencies are coming UP . They are much cheaper  than Bitcoin for now. It is so hard to decide  which to buy . Some are in good promos, to buy or invest to it while it is cheaper and sell when the price Will getting high. Is it a good idea to buy while we can not afford yet Bitcoin?

There is a reason why other cryptocurrencies are cheaper. It is because they are riskier than Bitcoin. If you have the appetite to take such risks, you can go ahead and invest in them. I would put most of my (crypto) money in Bitcoin with a small portion in altcoins.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 05, 2018, 07:18:31 PM
Once again Rashid Khan played outstanding innings today he took 4 wickets just giving 12 runs, with his brilliant performance Afghanistan won by 6 wickets. Ban started well but in death overs, they lost back to back wickets and scored just 134 runs. Afghan easily chased this target with losing 4 wickets.

Afghanistan have won their second consecutive match against Bangladesh. Rashid Khan is playing extremely well, but Afghanistan is coming together as a team as well. Bangladesh tried to avoid playing Afghanistan in the past to ensure that their ranking is maintained and they qualify for the ODI world cup. Looks like it was a good strategy.  Grin
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: June 05, 2018, 05:19:18 AM
No matter how volatile is Bitcoin, the Banks shall definitely be earning more rewards at the detriment of all their customers, leaving you to virtually very little or nothing if such situation could arise, of which Banks would also subscribe to this idea if well implemented,. But I'm also sure they would not do so this time around since the economy is yet to accept the operation of Bitcoin in most of the worldly economies due to its deregulation and decentralization.

They will be able to earn more rewards only if they are able to make loans denominated in Bitcoin. That may be possible on the Bitcointalk forum, but it definitely won't be possible on an institutional scale. Plus banks are regulated institutions - do you think the regulators will allow them to take price risk associated with cryptocurrencies?
210  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-04] Coinbase plan to join Japanese Market within the year! on: June 05, 2018, 05:12:13 AM
The Japanese market is one of the most important for cryptocurrency exchanges and it is natural that Coinbase is expanding there. It will not be easy for Coinbase, with multiple exchanges already operating and competition being tough. Coinbase is thought to be ideal for newbies - fees is a bit steep, but ease of use and interface are good. Not sure if those are the most important features in the Japanese market.

Pakistan can still get back in the game if they play good tomorrow. England might get a lead of 150-175 runs, but that can be covered off if the openers of Pakistani team perform better than their performance of first innings. So far, it has not been a very good match for Pakistani team, England does have an edge, and a big one, but even then we can't 0say for sure that Pakistan is going to lose it. Pakistan made a bad decision after winning the toss though, they should've bowled first.0

I think Pakistan will lose this test match, England made 363 runs in 1st innings with the help of Buttler and tail batsman. again in 2nd innings, Pakistan batsman struggling to face England bowlers and lost 4 wickets just for 97 runs and still they trail by 92 runs I don't think they will allow Eng batsman to play 2nd innings maybe England will win this test match by innings.

Pakistan not just lost this match, they lost it in record time (less than 3 days). The margin of an innings and 55 runs leads us to wonder if Pakistan's victory in the first test match was a fluke. It was going to be tough to save the match, after Butler scored 80 runs to give England a strong lead. But the Pakistani batting line up caved in meekly after that.

What is the best exchange to buy Blackbytes?

Bittrex, if you are willing to do a verification first.
Otherwise I made good experience with cryptopia.co.nz as well, although the Byteball trading volume there has recently been decresed.

internetofthings5 is asking for Blackbytes. I do not think blackbytes are available on Bittrex (or the other exchanges).
You should try the slack channel or the bots to trade blackbytes.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VISA has collapsed on: June 03, 2018, 09:03:01 PM
VISA suddenly collapsed...BTC has never crashed..
The era of digital money is approaching? BTC go to moon?

Visa is digital money too, but the fact that it is centralized is the problem. I would say that the era of decentralized currencies is approaching.
This might just be a hiccup for Visa and may be rectified soon, but it is an illustration of the problems that are possible for these centralized organizations.

Quantum Computing ‘Poses No Realistic Threat’ To Bitcoin: Research

Popular fears about the continued rise of quantum computing and its security implications for blockchain technology are misguided and blown out of proportion.

https://www.ccn.com/quantum-computing-poses-no-realistic-threat-to-bitcoin-research/

I see no reason why this keeps making the news every once in a while, especially when the conclusion reached is the same.
This article talks about the 'threat' considering the current quantum computing power. Isn't it obvious that the current power isn't a threat, because Bitcoin is still flourishing?
An article written a couple of years back...

215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the Spirit folks, this is how you will get bitcoin killed on: June 02, 2018, 03:43:56 PM
This will not affect bitcoins (im)popularity, you are bitcoiner or not. It will not offend people who don't have bitcoins. They simply do not care about cryptocurrencies and just wonder what nocoiner means. And it will not increase bitcoins popularity either.

Yes, chances are no one(or a very small amount of people) will actually be offended by this advertisement. But my point is that it still gives them the impression that people who hold and invest in bitcoin are sort of arrogant crybabies.

It may or may not result in people getting offended, but that is immaterial. If a few people are drawn to trying out Bitcoin, either due to curiosity or due to fear of missing out, then its purpose is served. There is no such thing as bad publicity.
216  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-02]TRAI will Apply Blockchain Technology to Control Messages & Spam Cal on: June 02, 2018, 03:30:08 PM
This is hype and nothing else. A simple system of maintaining a database of telecallers and stringent punishment for those who violate the privacy of individuals would work. The TRAI has not been able to manage this. What is the point of having a blockchain, if you are unable / unwilling to take action on the basis of that?
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: APPLE hails Bitcoin on: May 30, 2018, 10:11:45 PM
it makes sense if the founder of apple says such a thing, because with the limited amount of supply it makes things more scarce and expensive, it's only natural that businesspeople say that bitcoin is one of the most profitable

It is not just scarcity which makes something valuable, it has to have other attributes as well. If scarcity was the only criterion, we could reduce the supply of an alt and make it more valuable. People in tech are more likely to spot the technical brilliance of Bitcoin before others are able to do so.
218  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-30] Italy’s Economic Pain Is the Bitcoin Price’s Gain on: May 30, 2018, 10:02:34 PM
Bitcoin price trending up? The bears would call yesterday’s (brief) reversal in trend a dead cat bounce. We would love to see the follies of politicians resulting in the larger public losing interest in the existing financial order and Bitcoin gaining prominence. Unfortunately, this will take years to take place and won’t be triggered by one country’s misery.
219  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-28] John McAfee Says There is a War on Cryptocurrencies on: May 30, 2018, 07:07:58 AM
McAfee must be worried about his $1 million prediction going wrong. Individual banks may be imposing restrictions on cryptocurrencies, but that has nothing to do with fear of cryptocurrencies. They are just afraid of money launderers using their services and regulators imposing huge fines. They are playing safe.

Chennai Super Kings have emerged as the champions of the IPL, beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals. With this result, Chennai have beaten Hyderabad 4 times in this IPL - twice in the league matches, once in the qualifiers and once again in the finals. Watson scored a brilliant century in the finals to take CSK home.
