2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Tom Cruise - UFC Fight on: June 14, 2019, 04:31:33 PM
I want someone to punch Justin Bieber in the face and that would be amazing if it is Tom Cruise. As far as I know, Tom Cruise makes his own stunts so I doubt that he would be new to this kind of stuff. It might not be fighting stunts but he lived with that terrifying stunts he made. I don't know why Justin suddenly want a match with Tom Cruise but I think he is outmatched, what do you think?
2002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 14, 2019, 03:49:51 PM
Let us now wait for the Memes to pop out at social media. Grin

It is all over social media right now and that really irritates me. A lot of bandwagons are supporting Raptors now while in the past they are all supporting the Warriors and even debating one after the other. Congratulations to Raptors and mah boi Lin for winning the championship. The guy did his best to support his team and let's not forget Miller.
2003  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: June 14, 2019, 01:24:58 PM
Fiat currencies will continue to exist. Not everyone are blockchain or crypto literate to force them to use it. Also there are some countries where internet connection is not that fast. If that would really be implemented, countries with slow internet should do something about that first.

Fiat currencies will not go away just like that, obviously, it will continue to exist since there is a lot of countries that disagree with the decentralization of crypto currencies or the idea of having a digital currency as their main currency. Another thing is that they will not be able to support that kind of currency especially the third world ones.
2004  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: June 14, 2019, 10:49:49 AM
i think yes , i just figured out what my coin will come , and the project behind of it also the road map of that coin

That would be amazing if that will really come since if people could do that, we are all millionaires, not just millionaires but billionaires and there is no doubt at that time that we are billionaires, zillionaires is not a surprise. You might know what will happen with the project, where will they develop and focus there project but you will not know what will happen with the sales, with the profit that you will get and the people that might buy it, still be careful.
2005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto - Can We Find Him ? on: June 13, 2019, 10:45:42 PM
Why do you want to meet him? There are a lot of people claiming to be Satoshi and there are a lot of people wanting to find and know who Satoshi Nakamoto really is, but why? Why don't we just respect his decision? It is not that there will be harm to it. The more we find him, the more he will be securing himself. I want to know who Satoshi is but I am not that desperate to know him.
2006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: June 09, 2019, 11:57:09 PM
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and because of its decentralization, bitcoin has no definite value, but the most important thing for me is that bitcoin can be an asset and also has a function as a payment method.

Well, they said that bitcoin has no intrinsic value though it has an exchange price to USD of what we have now. Thankfully it is decentralized so you can earn fully with its volatility. I hope this continues but we can't do anything if your government or my government try to give implement taxes on it.

I think only bitcoin haters say that bitcoin has no value.

It has no intrinsic value, strip it's the price in USD and other fiats what will it have? nothing. You can have a trade to other crypto currencies but I don't think that will have a price.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 09, 2019, 11:26:04 PM
Now curry feels how lebron james feels when the time lebron is carrying the whole game versus GSW. There's no pure luck on cavs winning a game, they have the skills, suddenly some of its players leave so they become weak.

I don't think so. Lebron James is carrying his team way before he was joined by two all stars, way before he was teamed up with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, that makes him different. Don't get me wrong, Stephen Curry is a great player but he can't do what Lebron can do especially with his opponent right now. We should not even compare these two since we all know Lebron is better. Legends had approved of this, GSW is losing and that's it. KD is having a hard time deciding what he wants to do right now. But I don't think he will be playing next game or the next game after that since Toronto Raptors might end this series 4-1.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 09, 2019, 11:06:45 PM
few good players and even they could.not beat lebron when he was playing on the same conference in the east.

"Few"? he says. This is NBA, this is not something that is just like a league in your place that when a team has a few good players they losses, they are picked for a reason. It is obvious that Kawhi made the team great, he did make shots but also make good teamwork and that is why GSW is lacking. If Curry will be carrying his team at this back, that will be their loss. They have Green, they Iguodala, they Thompson, and other great players, what are they doing?
2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The analytics of my betting, what does it mean? on: June 09, 2019, 10:06:17 PM
Could you  explain this? So you made a total of 4637 bet? Won 2,992 times,
Lost 1645 times
How did you manage to make so much bets? Did you achieve that with bot or manual?

So, total amount of bet: 0.9201 bitcoin?
Total profit: 0.01437 bitcoin?

-0.01437
No profit and that is so sad. I guess this is normal since every bet we make is not the same, right? The same thing happened to my cousin doing the Martingale strategy. Comparing those losses with a win, you should've earned a profit, I guess if this is me I will be minimizing my bets from now on. That amount will do better in my investment but yeah, it is hard to keep yourself form gambling.
2010  Economy / Economics / Re: The Satoshi Value Economy on: June 09, 2019, 09:11:25 PM
Maybe someday we will be talking more in terms of Satoshi instead of dollars.  I know seeing one coin be worth thousands of dollars can be very intimidating since most people don't know about smaller denominations like mBTC or satoshis.

Doubt it, Bitcoin will always be pegged to USD or some kind of currency, I don't see Bitcoin ever working alone, it has no intrinsic value, it just cannot happen. I don't think it's intimidating, many countries have absurd numbers as their currency, some of them use millions like nothing.

That is right. I remember a colleague of mine talking about her being a millionaire in Korea when they exchange our currency (Philippine Peso) to the currency of the country that they've gone to (South Korean Won). She said that is the first time she became a millionaire but the prices there are so expensive based on the money she had, a million is not enough.
2011  Economy / Economics / Re: INDIA: Draft Law Proposes 10-year Jail Term for Dealing in Cryptocurrency on: June 09, 2019, 08:47:28 PM
I'm so confused, there is an article posted in another thread that RBI denied the knowledge about this amd they said they will be consulting the RBI? So that means this might take a long time before happening. Also, how will they track these addresses in which they don't even know if that address is from their countrymen. I can create an addressamd just deny the fact that that is not mine, they will not be able to tell that it is mine since they have no proof. They might ban sites or exchange? VPN are still legal, there are still a lot of ways they can use crypto currencies.
2012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News! Third world nation bans BTC. 10 years in jail for holding crypto on: June 09, 2019, 03:59:28 PM
A condition that is not favorable for crypto owners, and if such regulations are really implemented in your country it is better to sell than to have to deal with the law.

And you selling your bitcoin can affect the price of it in the market, that would be bad but some says India doesn't have that much bitcoin investors so I think despite the effect of it, it would not be that big. Also, we should not be scared of it for now since it is still in the process, it is still just proposed. Still not implemented and regulated.
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Accepting Churches on: June 09, 2019, 02:50:10 PM
I don't think those people will accept my BTC donation. I am not saying that they don't want the money but I guess it is just bothersome, instead, I can just sell that BTC and gave the fiat to them right?
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let me introduce "Ending Game" on: June 09, 2019, 10:48:48 AM
it's great that a local gambling game is going international. I think the game and rules is very easy and I think
sports gambling site should try and make this one of their game feature since it is easy a lot of people who used
to bet in this game will find a nostalgia and probably will try it out especially gamblers in the Philippines.
Gamblers who's familiar with this gambling game will support it for sure, it will bring much bigger venue if being introduce online, don't have
any idea if any particular gambling house already offer this game, it will be an interesting additional to gambling games just in case.

Though the problem here is that what game will be used? It is true that there are a lot of sports betting site on the internet and with a lot of them, there will be a huge competition about the games that we will be basing it on. Soccer? Basketball? Football? Volleyball? Tennis? There is a lot of sports we can use but the problem is what is the most betted sports in them, in our case most of the Filipinos use PBA games, it is the most popular and known sport in our country.
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: June 09, 2019, 12:20:50 AM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.

That's true healthy people gamble on their free time and excess money, only those people who do not have a genuine relationship will spend countless hours and pour his savings because he finds relationships in the cards and dice he is holding more than the people around him.

Healthy people? I think you meant rich people. Does that mean even poor people gamble despite their need for money? Don't get me wrong though, I know that there are poor people that gamble but I don't think they do that often since they can't even find something to eat. Also, I find this relationship reasonable since most of the gamblers I know is not just addicted to gambling, they are also addicted to alcohol and some of them are a womanizer.
2016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 08, 2019, 11:50:31 PM
Yeah. Well, my wife has been pretty strict with my gambling schedules lately and she's been checking my gambling site account sometimes. Her finding out that that is my account is fine but that is not fine when other people find that out. I don't win that much but I prefer gambling on the internet without knowing who I am or where I'm from.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling frustration and depression on: June 08, 2019, 10:26:04 PM
Gambling is not supposed to make you look like this because it supposed to make you happy.

Generally it is believed that gambling does with being lucky and as far luck is concern, it doesn't come all the time. So when you gamble and not lucky, I don't think you will happy at least not instantly.

Yeah, luck is the most basic thing people want to bring with them when they want to the casino or a cockpit. A lot of things might happen there and gambling and luck will not always go to places you want them to go that are the risk and you added that risk just by gambling. There are games that is not luck-based so I guess people can stick more to that kind of games though as I see people playing more luck-based than skill-based since they say it is more easy to play and they also said they are having fun and not melting their mind thinking. Minutes later, I can hear their screams of dissatisfaction.
2018  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: June 08, 2019, 09:42:14 PM
and its grow up to 8000$ , just hoping this good trend will keep like year before  Cheesy , but i also hope the price more stable

And the last time I saw it, it is at $7.9K, it is not a good move but I think we should all expect that. You don't need to hope for the price to be stable, we just adapt from the movements we are seeing. Bitcoin is a volatile crypto currency , it is decentralized and with a lot of people using it, there is no way that it will be stable. Though deep inside my head I hope that happens.
2019  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: June 08, 2019, 03:56:11 PM
In this era of technology, thanks to it even those under graduate can really earn. It will need some strategy and tactics only. Having knowledge in crypto in this time is a privilege knowing not all is able to know we can earn in it as bounty hunter, investor, trader, miner, part of the ICO, owner of the project and etc.

Well, it will not only rotate to Bitcoin and other crypto currencies, it will also develop ideas and opportunities to Blockchain technology. You see, there are a lot of uses of this technology and more people will be drawn to it in order to develop it and discover more things to use it for. You can read this article about the uses of this technology, there are a lot of them you will be surprised.

2020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: June 08, 2019, 03:08:15 PM
This doesn't state the fact that bitcoin is a scam ,scam artist can use any form on goods to scam there victims either fiat or not ,I used to join a ponzi scheme and all money I lost on there are in fiat ,I later heard some are scammed of there coins on there too so scammers use all form of money

Scammers can use a lot of ways so people will fall to their hands. There are obviously a lot of ways and there are times that bitcoin is used so they can escape with their crime. I remember one time where the scammers used Bitcoin because they said that their investment is based on Bitcoin and when it dumped, the investments people gave will be gone too not knowing those people don't have any investment in bitcoin, they just ran with their money and bitcoin is their excuse.
