2041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep hodling your Bitcoin on: April 23, 2023, 06:57:25 PM
Holding your bitcoin is like keep the treasure in your old house at un identify place for your future. One day that treasure will help you a lot.Even it will clear your medical bills at the old ages.Mnay old people not getting the support from their old children and siblings. Because their children will concentrate on their children and leave their parents which is not a good one.So it's better to hold some money for the savings at least for the medical expenses at your old ages, keeping at bitcoin will add your additional dollars in the long run.Since you are planned to hold for the old ages medical treatment.
I saw people that even if they want to hold for longer time, they have no option but to sell because of those unforeseen situations just like what you've mentioned.
And one of it is all about paying medical bills. We can see that a person who sold his bitcoins in need of cash for that purpose of paying hospital bills.
That's already a good purpose to be considered and when those people that have held for long, they've now seen the importance of having bitcoin that they can use in any time that the time may ask.
2042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: IS IT SAFE TO INVEST PENSION FUNDS IN BITCOIN? on: April 22, 2023, 09:50:21 PM
I spoke to a friend about Bitcoin and he asked if it is safe to invest Pension funds in Bitcoin considering the fact that this is a retirement saving. I am skeptical of investing people's funds in this coin because it can't be predicted also we cannot overlook the fact that Bitcoin may enhance investment returns at retirement.
However, my findings from people that work in these organizations say contributor's funds in some categories can be invested in risky investments because of the high return on investment and contributors have the option to opt for this option but with the exception of the soon-to-retiree.
With the risk of bitcoin, I'd be happy to put a portion of it but it's for my own and my own money. If it's others, I'll not rethink if I'll tell the same say but will say to study it first. The risk that bitcoin has got to offer might not be able to take by that person who's ready to take his/her pension. It's too risky for them, the old ones to have that vibe of roller coaster ride on this market. Give them time to study and learn bitcoin's volatility and from there, they'll see if they can take the ride and invest not all of their retirement funds but maybe 5%-10% of it.
That's what I think because it's better for someone who's taking a pension to just be content with it unless he'd be willing to go that far but with extra risk.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 22, 2023, 09:14:22 PM
Any strategy in gambling cannot be justified even though it is a martingale strategy that really requires a large bankroll and sometimes gamblers who have large bankrolls will still lose with the martingale strategy.
It's all because the casino knows how to win and any strategy we use will be useless unless we are lucky.
So there is truth in what you say that the best choice to win is to gamble for fun.
Yes, even with larger bankrolls, that's not going to guarantee that they'll leave the casino happily. It's more of an emotional battle and no one knows if that's going to be a good sign for them to stay because they've been winning. But the thought of having a large pool of funds and bankrolls will make them stay confident that they'll not go out of the casino sad but instead, with some huge money from their winnings. And if it is with this strategy, take all of those people that have said that it didn't work for them because it didn't.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 22, 2023, 09:43:12 AM
I'm still waiting for some news on who's in and out for their 4th game. And we've got some other interesting news, I guess this is still connected to Kawhi since he played for Toronto before but it's not about him but their coach.
Coach Nurse is fired by Toronto Raptors.
You want news. I'll give some news regarding who's in and who's out.

Kawhi Leonard will be out in Game 4 because of the same injury. When the time comes that they needed him the most, he can't contribute to the team. PG13 is out, now he is out. There might be a chance that the Clippers might be losing in 5 games. Yes they played well in Game 3 without Kawhi, but can they do it again in Game 4? Take note that they're up against a team who has 4 all-star players. I don't know, but I've got a feeling that they will lost in 5 games. Kawhi is a very unreliable superstar.

Joel Embiid will be out as well in Game 4 because of an injury. The reason that I've seen in the internet is that he fell so many times in that Game 3 win against the Nets that he got injured. Well, they're up 3-0 so losing in Game 4 wouldn't hurt them that much so... yeah maybe giving him time to rest as well.

As for the Raptors, after giving them one title, they're firing him. Well, I don't know who will they pick as their next coach as there are no candidates yet.
Thanks mate!
Those are big news for these teams. Kawhi needs to take rest for a while and let's see if they can do it without him on the game 4.
It's most likely that it's not going to be a win for them but then, they need to overcome this challenge or else they'll give Suns the momentum. However, it's expected that Suns will take this series.
2045  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: April 22, 2023, 07:09:18 AM
AFAIK, there's the two-child policy in China, and in this case, that's shown to control their population rate but then if India is going to be taking them over and they'll have more population in the midst of this year then that's record-breaking.
And as we know when the population rate is high, there can be a deficit in other things like consumables, employment rate, and other things that do heavily affected by the growing population of a nation.

That is why the growth of national population can be only sustainable as long as the economy can grow as well and offer new jobs and opportunities for the incoming generations. As population grows, we could model it as an exponential rate (assuming it to be constant and there is not pandemics). However the economical growth of an economy is not possible to be exponential and constant.

There is always recession and bull markets, and those bad times are what could keep people from having children.
The population growth is truly exponential and if no law shall be made like a one, two, or three-child policy. The economy of a country will have to be adjusted as well unless they wouldn't care for the welfare of their people.

Even if Countries like Japan and Germany are suffering from aging population, they are still pretty good and stable places.
True, in Japan, they're hiring and attracting more young people to come to them so that they'll be able to replace that potential aging population that shall give them no more workforce.
2046  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano nga ba ang Layer 1 at Layer 2 Blockchain? on: April 22, 2023, 04:51:12 AM

Katulad sa thread na to, Report: PH ranks 2nd in ‘ownership of cryptocurrency’.

Kaya talagang ipon ipon pag may time.

2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment involves being realistic, doesn't it ? on: April 21, 2023, 11:57:52 PM
Yes, investing always involves a realistic attitude and it is very important to have a clear plan of when to buy and sell your investment. This is especially relevant when compared to emotional decision making based on short term market fluctuations which can lead to bad investment decisions and losses.
That's where many investors have been falling and didn't find any success. And that's because their emotions hard to be controlled and didn't find themselves to be going with the path that they had already planned for.
Fluctuations are within the market and taking profits is essential as this is the reason why we're investing, to make money. We're all optimistic with the tech and stuff but it doesn't end there, we have to take care of our own welfare in terms of going back to the reason why we've started to invest. Being realistic that we're likely to see a 2x-5x of our capitals while some wanting 100x to more than 1000x because they saw some investors got lucky with their meme coins.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 21, 2023, 11:11:13 PM
Those that didn't gamble responsibly, were the ones that you've said with the negative effect and that's all about debt. Literally in life, it's hard to recover when you've been covered with debts. You don't know how to recover but by just thinking to gamble again and that might be the chance of luck that will be given to you to carry on. But it's been seen and tried many times by the majority and that chance goes only to the few people that have found success in recovery and then the rest will leave with nothing and then just another debt until that cycle is repetitive until they don't realize that the only way to deal with that is to moderate their gambling while paying their debts at the same time, or focus on paying the debts first then get cleared and don't take loans to gamble, never again.

Reality when it comes to gambling, if you are irresponsible expect to take a heavy burden as you may suffer with a huge loss to the point that you lost everything and start taking loans, what is worse is you'll take the loan to re-try your luck and find out that it's not with you and you lose more. It's a repetitive cycle that will continue to ruin your life.

Best practice is to keep the balance and treat gambling as part of entertainment and not a place to make money. Most of the time, the outcome will favor the casino.
We've saw a lot of those gamblers that have fell down because of them being irresponsible. We don't want that to happen and we know how to avoid being in that situation.
From those that have experienced it, they've learned from it and that's an experience that they may do again if they haven't learned. But being responsible is what mostly taught them that when they gamble, they all need to think of its possible consequences that they'll never like for sure.

Whilst we saw, no Ja, no problem with the Grizzlies. It might be a different thing with the Clippers.

This is pretty bad news for the Clippers. It looks like the Clippers are being dogged by bad luck because George was injured first, and now Leonard is also missing the game due to injury. If both players are not returned for the next game, the Clippers will most likely lose this series. At least, I doubt that Powell or Westbrook will be able to do anything against the Suns, who are fully healthy.
We saw the result and Phoenix made the win. I'm still waiting for some news on who's in and out for their 4th game. And we've got some other interesting news, I guess this is still connected to Kawhi since he played for Toronto before but it's not about him but their coach.

2051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: April 21, 2023, 09:56:07 PM
My favourite altcoin right now is Litecoin. Although it's an old coin that not many people are talking about these days. But at the beginning of August, LTC will be a halving. I expect that before that time there might be a pump, if nothing negative happens in the market. Halving is a fundamental event that always affects the value of the coin.
It's not being talked about because it's an underrated coin but good for transfers. I'm not expecting a lot from its halving because I saw the past of its halving and observed if there could be some changes but not that much really happened after all.
So, if you're expecting that there could be some pumps with it. I don't think that you should be expecting a lot from it but then, it's your time to observe and maybe there will be a new observation that will come out from the moment you take a look at it.
Other than that, if there will be some coins that many will pick, I'm sure that there's high confidence in Litecoin because it's known as silver while bitcoin is gold.
2052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any benefit of bitcoin to the government? on: April 21, 2023, 09:24:00 PM
Bitcoin has benefits to us, it is why we speak positive about it and support it because if bitcoin was in no way of benefit to us, supporting it will be difficult maybe like the government. Maybe we have all been selfish and just been discussing the benefits that bitcoins have offered us and not how it has also benefitted the government too. Is the government a part of the benefit list of bitcoins, is there any benefit that bitcoin offers to the government? If your answer is "no benefit", do you think that it could be a reason why the government do not support bitcoin? If your answer is "yes, but not enough benefit", do you think they are just ignoring the benefits to them and focusing more on the benefits to the people which is making them angry?
There is a government benefit from bitcoin. Look at the exchanges for example in the US, they're making a lot of money and that profit they make is taxable.
So, in short terms, there goes the taxation that's being cut from these exchanges which are sums of money and that go directly to the government. Also, we've seen those bitcoins that have been put into auction, those seized bitcoins and all the profit goes to the government too. Means that there are a lot of forms from bitcoin that the government benefits and also even from us, individuals.
2053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 21, 2023, 08:57:02 PM
Yes, things and situations might be predestined for us but everyone has been given free will and that's the power that's given to us to change the situation that we're in whether it's good or bad. I know people that have lived miserably in the past and living good today and that's because of their decision but not everyone ends with that situation. There are those that are already happy and contented with what they have thus, they chose to continue living the hard way because even if they've got good plans, they lack of execution and following what they've planned for.

Yeah you're right mate but have you also thought about the essence of opportunity?
There are alot of persons who are physically, mentally, educationally and also emotionally prepared to change their life stories but unfortunately haven't gotten an opportunity to do so and you also think those persons lack executional plans? NO
Let's take for instance, everyone wants to own a house, possibly a big and very comfortable house, what should be the executional plan for someone who has sincerely tried everything humanly possibly but failed ?
There are people who are spiritually under a spell and no matter the perfect execution approach they have, they will never succeed,.
Do you now think those sort of persons don't want to improve their lives ?
I guess no because at the end I just believe success shines on those they choose to shine on even without most of them working quarter of what those struggling out their must have suffered.
I also understand that. Not everyone is given the same opportunity but I've been there and experienced that, still, those who don't give up will still end up with a better opportunity even if the current situation isn't giving them the best opportunities that they can have.
I know that it's a kind of discouragement to them and that's not giving them the motivation to change their lives and have some preparation for the future. As said, we all have the free will to change our lives and take every step and action that we think shall make our lives better. In the end, the real winners of life are those who don't give up even if they've experienced tremendous loses.
2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 21, 2023, 08:27:06 PM
That's the reason why I seldom play with lotteries. I'm impatient to wait for the result though we can admit that they really offer higher prizes compared to other casino games. I just don't feel lucky playing lotteries and it seems like there are only a few people who are destined to win on it. I know someone who win the jackpot prize almost every other month and she doesn't really have any pattern or strategy but only pure luck.
That's the mechanics with lotteries and it's like a prize pool that's been assumed and will be taken from each other's bet. It's one reason why it takes time and if you're impatient enough, that's okay this game isn't for you but it's open for everybody who's going to think about of betting on it. Having a huge prize is enticing everybody but this means that it's also hard to win on this game that's why I know people that have been betting with lotteries for years and it also took them years before they've experienced to win.
If you are lucky then you might be able to hit lotteries on your life time and i've known some people who do also bet on local lotteries which until now when they are already old, they do still make on the same thing and hoping that it would really be something that would be changing up their lives which i could really say that there are people who are really that dedicated on wanting to hit up some lotteries no matter how long it would be. When it comes to online lotteries then it would really be just the same. Trying to guess out numbers on certain manner does impose on how many chances or odds of winning where it it is really
that close to impossible and this what makes me uninterested at all.
Yes, it's totally more with how lucky you are and I've seen people that were lucky to hit it one just ones but many times. But considering the prize that they've won, they're just like the normal amounts in the lotteries and didn't make them rich.
And I think the satisfaction of winning in a lottery is totally great but then it's a different experience if the prize money can entirely change your lifetime. Those that I know that have won several times, they're consistent with the number combination that they've bet.

It's simply based on what trend that is happening right now. So many people become so crazy due to the arb shit token. That means if we are in the meme season but it doesn't mean meme coin is the only trend right now. The fact that if there was also another trend that is running at the same time. Some trends can happen in one time. That's why people may be overused with it. People may call meme season, altcoin season and many more.
Meme season is under the altcoin season but it's more likely called a trend. Every altcoin season has different trends and one of them we saw is the meme craze or trends.
There will be more in the future and that's for sure and this is what's happening in the market every time we get to see the bull run approaching.
And right now, we're on the trend of AI.

To responds Brooks loud mouth I guess Lakers need to perform very well on game 3 since if they could take a lead at least 10 points away or even more for sure Brooks will shut his mouth. But Grizzlies win last match expect more intense taunting and physicality coming from them.
They'll just take it inside the court and will silence him probably with their performance but still, Brooks is just showing proving his worth.
