It's the opposite that I know of from the community that I'm living in. They think that we only live once and that's why they enjoy the things that they can enjoy today through pleasures and never think of what's about to happen by tomorrow. They never think about their future and that's why the most important thing to them is present which is actually true but their approach and way of demonstrating it is in the wrong ways. Yeah, we only live once and that's why we need to prepare and be better with the future that's heading to once because we'll never know if the same ways of living will still be in the future or we can still enjoy by that time or we'll face a lot of troubles and problems because of our ignorance today in saving, investing and preparation. Agreed and sad to see so many people misinterpret or try to distort the real meaning of it. I have no idea if there is any correlation between being rich and planning for the future but most rich people in my big family are very frugal and they always plan for the future. They don't complain about "live in the present", "enjoy the moment" because they all have clear goal of what kind of life they are envisioning and how to get it. On the contrary, the less fortunate people who barely make ends meet tend to spend most spare money on leisure and keep saying "we only live once". I used to explain the meaning to them but not any more. It's just impossible. We only live the way we choose. That's how they interpret the meaning of living once but doing the wrong things. Someday, they'll come to realize the true meaning of it when they'll get to remember those things that they've done and will start to have that thought that regret that they should have done better instead of those activities that haven't been productive to them. Although they can also justify it that the memories that they've made with those activities and people that they've been with can be treasured, yeah, we're there but dealing with the reality sucks and will make them realize everything is just passing by as a memory and I agree with you that we get to choose the type of living we want and the memories we want to treasure. |

Definitely, it's not everything and I do agree with that. Our local politics requires a lot of money to run for the office. Crazy fees again are with Eth and not just it but also in the TRX network. These altcoins are crazy and I think that this won't be stopped even if another coin emerges to have these problems solved. ( https://ethgasstation.info/) tells that it wasn't that much but I guess the accuracy of this website has been gone at least for now. I don't know where its API is getting all of those fees to be said as low currently but it's visible that ETH's gas fee being asked now whether in low priority or not, they're just too much. |

But giving him the light explanation that bitcoin is like the safe haven of this market is going to give him the idea on why he should invest in bitcoin but then, I won't force people to come up into the idea of buying bitcoin without knowing it first.
Yes, don't convince him to buy, just let him decide on his own. Give him the necessary information about btc, what you have experienced so far. There's no guarantee in this market even if you say btc is the strongest among these currencies. If he will sell it below his buying price because he urgently needs the funds, then he will be in the negative. It depends on how he will manage his funds, he can still lose even holding with btc. IMHO, this is the reason why people tend to think of how bad bitcoin is. Because of the wrong perception and suggestion of forcing and convincing them to buy and then the market didn't go along. It's nice to have people that are sharing what bitcoin is and I think that's more than enough for them to have that knowledge shared unto them of how it was but then if it's about their money decision, it should be them alone that must decide whether to buy or not but you just did your duty of explaining and telling them the details of what's with bitcoin and how volatile it is. |

It's because someone who's into one sport and focuses on it has got a lot of edge due to his knowledge and understanding of that sport. Even me, if I'm aware of the sports that I'm betting on, I understand that there's a better chance to win there because I know the ins and outs of it.

Not just 4 years ago but more than that and it was also taken into notice about these dexes. I still remember some of them that became popular but then didn't contain the competition because it's tough. Most of the old Dexes were already forgotten but they were made and used more than 4 years ago contradicting what you've said that they were in existence since 4 years ago. Well, their growth is true. Many of them even if just made a couple of years ago, they've become popular and that's the roots of decentralization that are being completed and continued. But then talking about FTX, there have been news that they're on recovery and looking forward to their comeback but asking people in here about if they'll still use them, I doubt it that many will obliged.
I think we already have over 10 billion dollars in all of DEX total as well, so it is not really a weird situation to be in. Obviously we are not going to see that in trading volume just yet, but we are seeing it in LP which is all that matters to me, it means that it can cover so much very easily. We are going to see it grow, we are not going to see CEX going away, that will stay as well. Remember that crypto market is a growing one, so we could see CEX and DEX grow together thanks to market growing as well, some people will move from CEX to DEX whereas CEX's will find new people to join instead of them. This is how the market will continue to grow, it will allow us to do a lot better and surely that is a bright future for all crypto investors. I hope to see that day come when more people have more confidence in the DEXes than the centralized exchanges. This is true, these prenuptial agreements have been more popular with hardworking people and mostly with the celebrities that we know of before they tie the knot with their partners. IMHO, it looks like Hakimi's move is being praised but if we're going to think on the brighter side, he should have thought of his kids rather than this. It's understandable that he's trying to protect his wealth and don't want to give it to her ex-wife and benefit from it but then, it's sad that he had moved it all before Hiba knew it. Well, if it's all about wealth and money, distrust and disloyalty comes out in so many forms even if both of your soul have lived together.
