Don't be too emotional with the altcoins and meme coins, they're really going to put you through hype but eventually will leave you and will be stuck in the midst of it leaving you at great loss.
The most common happened in all newbies out there, they actually lure on the hyped coin knowing that those coins actually exist because of the hype not the utility of the project.  Newbies should know this, don't dive into it easily without proper research, or much better stick to the top cryptocurrencies which give the potential of gaining profit.
Yes.

They've been attracted to the hype and not to the actual which made them too excited and both it while it's on hype. That has made them blind investors.

New investors should not think only about profit in the short term because it's very risky for them, just go for the long-term investment which is considered safe for them.  But at least OP learned from those mistakes and it might this will not happen again, experience is the best teacher as they said.
This is expected.

They are also investors and they're aiming for the profit that they have to make and that's why they're rushing with the potential profit they'll make.

But that's always wrong when someone is in rush for the profit, he's likely to fall.
2082  Economy / Gambling / Re: Watching Our Kids From Something That Could Dangerous To Them on: April 15, 2022, 11:59:03 PM
we need to know how to separate things, one thing is to let children play video games and other games on these smartphones and another very different thing would be to let children play in a casino. they are completely different things. depending on the age it is okay for children to play these smartphone games and video games, but the wrong thing to do is to let children under 18 play in casinos because this is against the law and casino TOS, and this is very clear and all parents know it!
That's their parenting and they should be more delicate about what their children are installing on their smartphones or with the laptops or desktop computers.

It's true that it's okay to allow kids to play games at a regulated time but being free is going to make them curious to discover other things. And if it's about the casino, the casino won't know a user's age until they ask for kyc.

So basically, the kyc free casinos won't do it and the kids would be free to sign up and even steal money from their parents if they're not being monitored.
2083  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A blind investor's confession on: April 15, 2022, 11:06:43 PM
Enough is enough and you've already admitted that you're wrong.

Well, the best start is to buy bitcoin while it's dropping and be patient with it. At least by doing that, you won't see it just like the other altcoins that you've bought having an exit scam.

Don't be too emotional with the altcoins and meme coins, they're really going to put you through hype but eventually will leave you and will be stuck in the midst of it leaving you at great loss.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba dump coming? on: April 15, 2022, 10:35:26 PM
Something deep down is telling me that the reason why whales are buying Shina inu for the past months is because of Robinhood listing, how sure are they that Shiba will be listed on Robinhood? Anyway, now I think a bigger Shiba dump is in motion because once the expected gains from this listing isn't pure or strong there will be a massive dump, am I wrong or right.
It is like buying the rumors and selling the news.

And as the market leader has been dumped, there goes shiba and the rest of the market as well. This is anticipated because this is how the market works.

Whoever have bought or seen this coming, I guess all of you are able to sell before it had started to dump after all of that major news about the listing on robinhood.

For experience traders, yeah, they can smell this from a far. Shiba is just a good good to invest in the beginner, before the hype and then waited for it for some inexperienced investors to join the bandwagon.

Even the news that it will be listed on Robinhood, and even on the actual listing itself, there was no moonshot whatsoever, and still continue to dump as to this time.
The little pump that it got from the actual listing was hyped.

But, it didn't worked this time because most of the traders and investors now are aware of the hype that's being set for the actual coin. For the newbies, they're the ones that will be hard to take advantage of those pumps and news that's coming for this coin.

And when they bite, they'll be left behind afterward.
2085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin still in such a state? on: April 15, 2022, 09:54:13 PM
Why is the price of Bitcoin going downhill? I kept saying for two or three months that the marketplace will be better by this time and the price of bitcoin will move forward. But my idea is wrong. Experienced people will share your opinion on why the price of Bitcoin is in such a state.
We've been up for so long.

So the next thing to expect for it is to go down and have itself plummet. That's the usual thing that happens whenever bitcoin stays at the top price for so long.

Check out the news as they also have a connection sometimes to bitcoin's current market. Having its own nature of being volatile, if you're good at analysis, you'll figure it out.
2086  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: April 14, 2022, 11:42:28 PM
Centralized is good if the project behind it has a good reputation because they have the full capacity to improve immediately there blockchain whenever there's a major issue that needs to be resolve. Look at how slow Ethereum developed just because they can’t upgrade directly there blockchain. The only downside on Solana is there networkmis alwaysmcongestedd despite they claiming for a high tps.
IMO.

Centralized or not or semi centralized, the devs are good in improving the network and capable of doing an upgrade. The perfect example is with ethereum.

Even its consensus, they have the glance to change and improve it just like what has been in the news lately. The switch of PoW to PoS and the other project who has their own blockchains are capable of doing it as well.
2087  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk - Hinted that it would be nice if Twitter Ads be paid in Bitcoin on: April 14, 2022, 10:53:32 PM
Generally, looking at that acceptance most companies accept bitcoin. There will be surely a great effect on the market for which the demand will go up.

There's also the breaking news a few hours ago that he has asked to buy shares of Twitter or entirely the company itself for $42B. And I guess that's the hint from the few days of what he said about accepting bitcoin.

Well, if Jack and their colleagues agreed. Will he add the option quickly?

2089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: April 14, 2022, 03:05:19 PM
Staking has proven to be profitable especially if we are staking for the long term, but we must pay attention to the security side, if we are staking on spot exchanges then this is very safe, but if we are staking on DEX then always make sure the PC security system because currently more and more programs are available can hack our assets.
Don't also forget the real time value of the crypto you'll stake.

E.g. Like if you have bought that token this day @ $50 and then you have already staked it. The value will decrease if the market price of that token also drops.

So that's part of the risk that you need to remember but if you're okay with that and you'll just leave it there for a long time then you've got no problem.
2090  Economy / Gambling / Re: Profits from gambling with crypto (UK tax question) on: April 13, 2022, 11:51:58 PM
I guess it's explanatory with your 2nd statement.

You just have to explain to them well and clearly what has happened. If they insist on asking for that information, then there's nothing much that you can do.

Since you've explained everything that they need to know honestly, there's nothing that would help it and they have to look for other alternative that might be connected to your gambling/crypto profits.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buy my home with bitcoin on: April 13, 2022, 10:51:26 PM
Check your neighborhood and locality if there's a community for bitcoin people there. And once you've found out that there's an existing community then ask them.

But I'd go with the suggestion of selling your property into fiat and do all the necessary transactions and legalities fixed then use the money to buy bitcoin afterward.
2092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: April 13, 2022, 09:54:10 PM
What we should do instead is remove all the emotion from trading, but if we are feeling like we may let emotions back in at any time, just stop, stop trading all together and get rid of those emotions first and come back to trading after that.
Better to stop wholly when you don't feel it anymore.

The bad thing is that our emotions when we catch all the hype and we think that it's not going to be up anymore. So then our emotion is going to feed us of what we must do in a hurry.

And if we're in a hurry, that's the time that we don't know what we're doing anymore and it's very important to remember that we will definitely make mistakes when we're in that form.
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 13, 2022, 01:02:42 AM
For some reason, it seems to me that the second one, since such bets are usually made according to the principle "won - lost - won - etc." until a complete loss or a big win. I would like to believe that he also had victories because the size of the bets is absolutely unrealistic for most gamblers.
IMO, that's for sure that he got wins as he has bet with such large amounts. Well, I guess all of us wants to hear from him on what he's thinking and if this is just a smaller part of his bankroll and there's actually more to it and he's part of those silent whales that are happily gambling and having fun with their fortune.

If so, it turns out that his bankroll is at least 100-150 bitcoins. And if we assume that he does not play for the last money, then this is a real multimillionaire or even a billionaire (this is very cool and indicates an adoption in my opinion). There is still a possibility that he received his bankroll as a result of some crazy winning, but this is not very close to the truth, since an ordinary person would rather withdraw the funds won than continue to play but already at fantastic limits.
That's a lot if that's an accurate one with that speculation.

But as said, we'll never know on how much he really got. And whenever there's someone that surprises us with such amounts, it's always interesting to know that person and the other information that we want to know.

Well, we're for that but it breaks the purpose of decentralization on it. It's just so funny that we're all for that because someone got to hold that huge amount of bitcoin and gambles it.
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Token Based Casino In Market Aggregator on: April 12, 2022, 11:47:37 PM
Fun token is the only casino based token that ranks high among the token-based casino right now it now ranks

Fun Token Rank #349

but new casinos with their own token are coming up like Betfury's BFG and Owl.game OWLDAO and many more coming is there a possibility of a breakthrough like Fun Token or other casino based token breaking into the top 100 will start a new trend in the casino industry, every casino will create their own token and will we have Token Based Casino section like NFT and Metaverse in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko.
It's true about owl.

I've seen that from don't have much volume, it's starting to get up. There is really the moment that many casinos might do the same thing as they look at the success of other casinos that have their own tokens.

They might be encouraged and use that as an inspiration if they see that others have been picking up and starting to see the success within it.
2095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I must be an idiot: Crypto has to be the most Risky on: April 12, 2022, 09:42:37 PM
Is it possible to get into crypto, and only have mining fees to deal with?
Only if you already have the crypto.

You only have to deal with the transaction fee as per sending it to another wallet. There is a crypto that I know of that they don't charge fees per transaction you make.

Yes, you heard it right that it's a cryptocurrency that don't have a fee you have to pay if you transact.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 12, 2022, 05:49:43 PM
Bear or bull, I'm good all the time. No stressing me. I would like to add that I have a hoard of stablecoins stashed somewhere for such eventualities like this
Nice.

You're doing great if you've been prepared and have stablecoins ready to take off when the market started to bleed heavily and became cheap for most of them.

That's how someone should act and adopt whenever the bear market comes. It's not just all about whining and reasoning that the market is too low and down but you've gonna do something like what you're doing.
2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 12, 2022, 12:08:16 AM
Good bets! I wonder if this is all the bets he made or is it part of a much larger series?
That made me think either maybe there were earlier bets that he has made and they're larger than these.

For some reason, it seems to me that the second one, since such bets are usually made according to the principle "won - lost - won - etc." until a complete loss or a big win. I would like to believe that he also had victories because the size of the bets is absolutely unrealistic for most gamblers.

2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: April 11, 2022, 11:14:29 PM
For those who have watched the movie "Inception" then will know that lucid dreaming is a potential technology that still makes no sense that will exist in the future. This idea may sound crazy but "gambling in a dream" will definitely come true.
Yeah, truly a crazy idea.

With all of the technologies that are coming out, every microchip that they produce has its own feature that shall work based on what it is assigned for.

Remember the neurolink of Elon's company?

I guess it's the same for this and it's very likely that it can be integrated with gambling through thinking and that's out of this world type of gambling. Gambling online through thinking and your brain will just have to process it, what a crazy idea but really possible.
2099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any newly play2earn NFT gaming out there to get into on: April 11, 2022, 10:40:46 PM
I can’t still see yet any reliable new P2E, I think they are also having a hard time dealing with the market condition so I would suggest to look for the old one, some P2E are still able to stay despite of the down trend, you can still make money with them but of course not that high anymore. You can choose to buy some NFT for now even if its not P2E, there’s also a chance here that you can get more profit than playing P2E.
Me too.

It is because that there are too many scams from the new projects that comes out and that's why if ever you're going to choose a new P2E.

Make sure that you've chosen it because of the devs that you can trust. It is the roots if the P2E game is reliable because if not, then you'll be surprised and shocked that they've already done a rug pull.
2100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Madeira and Prospera "adopting bitcoin" on: April 10, 2022, 11:53:43 PM
As long as there's a community or a country that adopts bitcoin.

It will always turn into good news. That's what we all like, to see those cities, places, and everywhere start to adopt bitcoin. Although for the others, the size does matters for the adoption but every big adoption is coming from small ones.
