2141  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: April 30, 2022, 03:15:23 PM

what you might wanna try this time is vector art, creating NFT today is very profitable. or you can create NFT for others i bet there are lots of blockchain sea today wanted to hire graphic artists for the NFT sidechain.

if you want to just get freelance work, marketing skills which you can learn from the different computer base tutorials these days, the challenge is to find an employer though. they seem to look for experienced ones.
2142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: April 29, 2022, 01:31:16 AM

just yesterday Putin warns other countries to stay away from this war. he is not bluffing with this. America can stop the war, there is just a price for it. Ukraine can stop the war too and well, for a price too.

Poland may try. there was news yesterday that they are going to reunite with what's left of Ukraine which could be a solution and west Ukraine can be Putin's profit for his war. this could be an alternative bargain or it could get worse when Putin takes Poland as well.

2144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: April 29, 2022, 12:47:15 AM

with so many gambling machines everywhere, it's going to create gambling addiction. in my country, even online cockfighting creates massive addiction where gamblers commit suicide.

Now, is that fair ?
Abolish the machines altogether?
Why isn't regulation and monitoring not taken into account?
What do you think ?

It entirely depends on the social situation in Australia. If gambling has really become a big social issue, then it's no wonder that government will step in to eradicate that issue slowly but surely. Especially if it is affecting the youth. So I don't see anything unfair in this.

Probably Australia can take Las vegas route instead. Designate an area where all gambling houses will be situated and represent it as a tourist destination. But again, if government can't control an issue, they prefer to ban it.

kinda easy to tax too when they have this kind of route. and this will also lessen the gambling problem in the country. they're the number one country with the highest gambling rates according to this thread.

2146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: April 27, 2022, 11:42:01 PM
both have great boxing records they both are undefeated. i think magsayo will win this fight still. he beats his opponents every time and he is still young. sakalam din si vargas kahit mukhang tukmulin and maybe because he has to go up to 126lbs he'd find it not easy in the division.

2148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino other than Stake . com? on: April 25, 2022, 11:49:13 PM

On my part, I am not saying a specific casino is better than the other. Because as a gambler, we have our own preferences, maybe withdrawal fees, bonus, or deposit currencies, or the games itself.
I agree with you and it is very difficult to say one is better than another because one gambling site might be better in one side but the other might be better for other side. For example one gambling site might be better regarding withdrawal fees and another might be better for withdrawal amount.

they'd have to keep trying each casino until something happens that will make the user lose trust. Stake.com is very trusted, can say there will be one that will challenge it soon. there are similar casino with sportsbetting like Stake but are not really talked about. and i think most of them don't ask IDs.
2149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: April 25, 2022, 11:30:32 PM

Taking over success for him. No wonder doge jump high.

We will see if he will really make it better for the users and will there be accounts that will be unbanned after. There were influential people talking about the Trump account be unban.
2150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DeFi-Play | Your Blockchain Gaming Community. Find your teammates, share games. on: April 16, 2022, 04:00:47 PM
the website does look like a news site for NFT and play-to-earn games. this is promoting thier website as a source of information about Play to earn and NFTs and DEFI in crypto. it's 3 in 1 niche unlike the cointelegraph or coindesk.

most of the internet users today are promoting on tiktok and youtube, i think Defi-Play will have more audience if they have videos. even just reviewing Defi and telling how legit the projects are would help.
2151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Token Based Casino In Market Aggregator on: April 16, 2022, 02:26:05 PM
There's nothing wrong for a casino which created their own token as long as they don't scam, the price and volume will depends on the casino itself. The main reason why they created their own token to maximize their profit and they can give a reward/bonus without pay anything (the token created out of thin air). If the casino turned to be scam, the token will definitely follow the same path and this is another risk of holding useless token. I'd call it useless because there's no real usage except for the casino only.

there are already some of these scam casino that also has tokens for dividends of the stakers, many of them were created in the TRX blockchain. majority are not coming here in the forum just like the developers in Thundercore blockchain.

anyone for the shill and laugh?

2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Token Based Casino In Market Aggregator on: April 15, 2022, 02:20:44 AM

more casinos are going to release tokens mainly to get more profit from gamblers and acquire BTC through these tokens. hope Stake.com will also do the same and share profit with the token holders.

sportsbet token still is less than the amount i was expecting, i was hoping for its price to really go up because it's where we use to bet.
2153  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia wants to build a new world order with China on: April 13, 2022, 10:13:27 AM
China and Russia are 2 countries that have strong economic power at this time, although Europe's plan to impose sanctions on Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine but I'm sure this will not have any impact because they have a strong ally, namely China. the plan to create a new world order is certainly a good idea to make the global economic position more stable.
Yes, after all Russia and China besides having strong economic power they are also big countries,
the two countries can be said to be able to stand alone without depending on other countries because they have a strong economy and sufficient resources,
this is interesting to discuss and let's see if the plan will materialize or not

it's close to being achieved through the China's BRI. when thie BRI will be completed from China, going to Kazakstan, Russia to Ukraine going to Africa and Germany, China will dominate every country in the region. China doesn't have to do war to invade a country, they just have to do business there delivering products from China to every station of the train they' build.

China does need the countries where they build this train so there is no need for war. if i were to choose who is to rule the world, none actually but it seems China is taking over every country. what can i say, i cry watching Jakie Chan's movie.

- Fun fact: Coins.ph has access to less information!

2155  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia announced a default on foreign obligations!!! on: April 12, 2022, 10:03:52 AM
Russia's problem is that it is not a high-tech state. Its economic power rested on energy resources, which it simply extracted from its bowels. As soon as the international community took a number of measures, including the refusal to supply Russian oil, gas and coal, Russia "deflated".
Russia's problems are fools and roads. What you call a problem is simply a configuration feature that naturally follows from the colossal excess of natural resources. The West deprived Russia of luxuries with sanctions, not thinking that Russia could deprive the West of basic necessities in response. Therefore, it is not necessary to wishful thinking, the West would like to get rid of Russian oil and gas, but so far it is not very successful.

not only that. Russia's sanctions affected everyone including the Asian countries like mine. we are not even part of this war.

the central banks all around the world were anxious when Russia's reserves were frozen. its not normal, reserves are not supposed to be frozen no matter how antagonist the country is. Putin is a pain in the ass we all know that but with frozen reserves, it's like giving Putin the reason to respond like shit.

2158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos invest on endorsement from celebrities on: March 19, 2022, 12:01:07 AM
why not? if it helps the casino gain popularity and increases users, it must be worth using the celebrities to promote their services. it's not a new way of marketing, politicians hire celebrities and musicians to gather a crowd to listen to them.

an endorsement from on famous celebrity can already make a casino known. after learning stake chooses Adesanya as ambassador, i came back retrieving my stake password again. maybe that helped. drake will make it more reputable.
2159  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What kind of software should beginners know? on: March 18, 2022, 06:07:24 AM

why not just TOR and wallet like electrum. that's just it. some users just don't want to complicate things on their computer. i have some suspicions about those password manager, i'd rather just save them on a txt file or just remember it.

i don't even use TOR because the exchange might see a security breach, i don't want them to notice my account anymore and go thru all the troubles again of verifying. i only use it if i really need to go to a .onion site.
