1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte II on: July 15, 2023, 10:49:14 AM

Perhaps it was just the circumstances that Dillian Whyte was given another crack of Joshua here. As others have said, it's a faded version of Joshua now but Eddie Hearn needs to find a opponent that can bring back Joshua's confident so Dillian Whyte is a perfect fit for it. Maybe a trilogy can happen, or maybe if Joshua losses here then there's no more Wilder for him in the horizon or even Tyson Fury and it could be over for him. Or least he is now considered just a B-level fighter and just looking for payday before he retires.
Whyte is someone who can bring back Joshua in contention or could possibly bring him to retirement so Joshua better be at his best Whyte can still deliver a big surprise, if ever he beats Joshua there could be a trilogy but Joshua will be out of contention and it's going to be a hard climb we have many faces in the heavyweight division that wants to have a crack on the titles held by Fury and Usyk and a loss from Whyte will shut him out, Dubois, Zhang, and Joyce are those up and coming names.

And maybe bring the best of Joshua as well? Because they have fought already and Joshua win via knockout on the 7th round.

So there might be a big possibility that Joshua is thinking the same, and it he can do that definitely his confidence is back. Yes, they are still in the top echelon of the HW right now. But there are a lot of incoming boxers as well.

Don't forget about Andy Ruiz, he is still very much active and we all know that he dealt Joshua his first lost. Him and Wilder are supposed to fight, but not sure what happens behind the negotiation.

it's not in AJ's interest anymore to fight Wilder. he isn't what he was anymore after Ruiz fight. he will be a good training match for Ngannou if he likes but he will retire win or lose against Whyte.  there are great undercard fights though like Mckean and Fisher. it should be a good prospect to bet on.

1222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I avoid and identify scams? on: July 15, 2023, 10:34:44 AM

you can avoid scam tokens if you don't buy them at all somewhere. just buy the top 10 coins and you save yourself from getting scam. just ignore those meme coins, there's already one among the top 10.

don't look for new coins, thats the bottom line. just stick to the olds ones that are already being listed on different exchanges.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 15, 2023, 10:24:42 AM
I just read that Ngannou's fight purse against Tyson Fury is around $8 Million which is similar to what UFC offered him to defend his title against Jon Jones. Huge leap from his last fight which reported to be around $600K so kudos for a getting a great deal even after all the fallout.

$600k is embarrassingly low amount for a heavyweight champion fighting for the most recognizable brand in combat sports. I knew the UFC underpaid its top fighters but that is just shocking to hear that his purse was so low. Even fighters who have never headlined a pay-per-view card, like Shakur Stevenson, can earn millions in boxing. No wonder so many MMA guys seem desperate to fight against boxers even when we know they don't have much of a chance to defeat top pound for pound stars.

Yes you are right that mate $600k is very small amount of money and we all know that both fighters are too popular which the boxing organization can earn a lot of money. And aside from the tickets being sold they can earn another amount once they will accept betting from another persons. And about the MMA fighter who will fight in the boxing then I don't think so if they have a high percentage of winning.

i saw a report Francis will get $30M and that's apart from the PPV pay. that's more than the money he got in his UFC compensation since the start. Francis comes from a very poor beginning, he used to work in a gravel mining company as far as he told the public.

but he did start a foundation afaik which he supported kids and created a school for them. $30M would really do good in Africa. hail to Francis.

1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I understand Bitcoin charts? on: July 14, 2023, 06:27:52 PM
Good day, esteem members of this prestigious forum, please do not find this question unnecessary, I need experienced investors who knows that understanding charts is part of investment strategy and means to maximize profit,  enlighten us on bitcoin charts. If there is any thread explaining chart, please kindly drop their link.

I know there are different types of charts, you can Explain the chart you know in it's simplest form.

There’s only one type of chart with different pair. You can only modify it and use trading tools to analyze data given on charts.

I think you are asking for a technical analysis for the price chart and not defferent type of chart since chart will only show you data while indicators will help you analyze it properly to have a better trading strategy for buying and selling.

You can use Investopedia guide on using indicators to help you familiarize on each one and learn how to use it.

https://www.investopedia.com/technical-analysis-basic-education-4689655

For a better understanding on how to come up on strategy, You will need to find a good mentor that offers free service or enroll trading courses on Udemy.

watching some udemy tutorials will be beneficial for a newbie to dive deep into reading charts. i was once a fan of the tutors in stock market trading, it really help me understand how charts are supposed to be read.

learning what the indicators are telling is important and its good to learn redundant indicators. there are paid indicators and the developers are also explaining how they work.

1225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 05:51:54 PM

1. Only set aside an amount of money that you will use to gamble in a casino.

I think this has been talked about in one thread on this board, in which some people confirmed that it's not easy to only set out what one is willing to gamble off at once, someone who doesn't have the ability to control their gambling urges or emotions will end up looking for ways to get more money to gamble more, with the hope that they can recover at least what they have lost. You know some people will want to try their luck to see if they can win, and at times, they will keep on trying their luck until they have gambled away more than their budget, all in the name of chasing losses.

at times the money set aside for gambling will be bigger than his food allocation.  Lips sealed

because he wants to push his luck. many gamblers only see the whole situation when its late. only after they got into very deep, and sometimes even when they already see the problem, they enjoy it. especially when he had already established a network of gambling friends, its harder to quit.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: July 13, 2023, 03:10:33 PM
~snip~
That's true, but I don't think the government or even the casino care with small gamblers who broke their rules.

For the casino side, they might still allow gambler to use VPN even though they've stated in their TOS for not using VPN during gambling. But as long as the gambler is losing money, it will make the casino get benefit.

While the government, catching someone need to process many thing, if it's small gamblers, they will not get any benefit since they can't bribe the police.
The government or the casinos don't care about small gamblers because the small gamblers don't win much money. And even if the little gambler won some money, it wouldn't be as much as the other gamblers. So the casinos don't pay much attention to the little gamblers, but if one day they manage to win big money, the casinos will start checking their accounts to see if there is any suspicion that they are cheating.

And when gamblers start to win big money using VPNs, casinos can ask them for proof by starting to ask them to do KYC. This will be a problem for gamblers because some of them cannot do KYC or even refuse it.

or will accuse them of breaking TOS eg using VPN. this always ends up a zucker for the casino player when they lose while using VPN its just fine but winning big will bring issues to their account. we have seen accusations before and most of the time casino wins.

i was just thinking of playing it all win or lose just gamble it all after all the government may impose penalties on those holders if caught. maybe one could agree to the thought.

1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it Advisable joining Bitcoin signal group? on: July 13, 2023, 02:56:16 PM

since you have seen that their signal didn't show the market reality and it moves opposite direction instead then the group is just toying with you. i was surprised also back in the days when they are common and asking a subscription fee.

i used to receive PM from one user in bitcointalk about some altcoins they are going to pump. i don't see him anymore but at that time, he often stays on the XRP thread.

1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: July 11, 2023, 07:09:15 PM
We, the users and followers, will decide which eventually fades or increase in momentum on social media. The kind of ecosystem Elon Musk and Mark established, the cruise we all take generates billions of dollars in revenue for them. Although We don't envy their extraordinary intelligence. Elon Musk shouldn't rely on Social Media investment to remain on top of the richest human list without challenge.

Mark Zuckerberg is not on the dick-measuring contest that is the Richest Person rank (top 2), so it does not make any sense to phrase it from that perspective. This is more of two platforms and their CEOs locking horns with each other [no seriously, what is Elon's job title at Twitter at this point?] and we can also expect Elon to order new features to be rolled out on Twitter in response to Threads adding more stuff.
Twitter's new rules to buy verified batches with money are considered unfair by users, and many have started leaving Twitter for this, and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took advantage of this opportunity.  Threads as an alternative to Twitter has already been downloaded more than 50 million times from playstore and millions of times for other OS as well.  Mark Zuckerberg thinks they will make it more popular than Twitter and have more market value than Twitter in a very short period of time. Now it remains to be seen what new decisions Elon Musk makes for Twitter's development

if Elon was a friend of Epstein he might just have a huge dick. seem not.

if politicians like Trump get censored in Threads, people i think will still choose Twitter. its the reason why Elon bought Twitter, it's for his political games while in Threads, there are only kids there who used to be on Instagram that already lost in the game by Tiktok. twitter though was in decline so there will be a competition between those 2 apps.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 11, 2023, 06:39:17 PM

that's my fellow countryman winning a lottery from another country and it's more than Php200 million. thats a huge amount, people kill for such money. why he is talking about safety in Dubai when the real threat could be back home?

he is very lucky to win 15M Dirhams. people spend a lifetime betting on all sorts of games without winning that much, his fairy godmother must have been watching over him while it's the leprechaun that watches us.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 10, 2023, 06:18:32 PM
Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I can't spend money there.
Really a what is needed to gamble is a big bag of money and luck and you do not need too much knowledge or teaching before you can gamble because some gambling games like dice and slot are highly luck-based games and even a nob can win them easily.

Unless for a few games that require some technicalities to play them but even at that one can easily learn them using the demo version before trying the real games.

So it then means that you may have a long game history without having to build any skill in gambling and all that is needed is just luck because in lottery games all that you need is just select a number and if it becomes the lucky number then you win out rightly.

its easy to learn those dice and other luck base games. but i don't see a reason why he needs to learn gambling. the forum is not entirely about casinos but its about bitcoin, there are more forums about BTC, Trading and Altcoin investing than Gambling.

one reason that users are learning to gamble is if they are part of the casino signature campaign. its not necessary but playing casino games is a first have experience and for a promoter able to effectively promote a casino i think is to also play.

1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 09, 2023, 06:55:46 PM

It was just simply by the magic and beauty of starting with a small amount of money then suddenly the outcome of having a huge amount of money. In my case, when I was a kid there's a small game outside my school that many kids literally went there straight after school. Of course it's a gambling called color game which is very popular here in the Philippines. I became curious why they think it was fun to risk your small allowance? So I tried, started with small amount then shouting that "BLUEEE" since I betted at blue. The fun it gives to me was fun as it also gives you the excite and thrilling experience every round of the game. So after winning some money of course I would treat myself and come back tomorrow for me to treat again myself since I'm good at this game.  Wink

sounds like a gambler as they are. no one said it like they are really a gambler as simple as they are attracted to gambling because they like to gamble. its often a jackpot on a slot machine that makes a newbie sit for hours until his coins are gone. that jackpot is very attractive. sooner that newbie becomes a gambler after realizing he haad lost a substantial amount and needs to get them back.
1233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I make an anonymous post? on: July 09, 2023, 06:13:58 PM

what's wrong with your Turn it off account? it seems anonymous enough to me, i don't know you nor see your email either so that's enough being anon in this forum.

as long as your post doesn't really violate rules in the forum, there is nothing wrong with it. we have seen the worse post in the forum, it can't be that bad. you can talk just about anything as long as you don't post a picture of your weenie.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 08, 2023, 04:02:37 PM

so much weird stuff coming up these days including that sex championship from Sweden. and then this enhance drugs Olympics.
feels like we are in the end times already. it can't be so coincidental that Zelensky was promoting the legalization of marijuana use in Ukraine.  Marijuana doesn't even grow there but he was trying to sell the idea to the people.

are the athletes supposed to be proud when they win while they are taking such drugs?
1235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 03:28:01 PM
As newbie I'm of a suggestion that it's good to advocate time to learn bitcoin and its chart of market before investing in any part of cryptocurrency investment and bitcoin, as a new investors that want to make profit and don't want to experience losses in investment, we should know the values of coins either altcoins and otherwise before investing

every trader and Investor will always be careful when they want to start trading or buying assets for the long term. everything has to do with capital and money, so no one will play around without knowing how to trade or how to see the potential of an asset.
no beginner starts their trading or investing without a loss. it naturally happens, you have to make it an experience and also learning for you.

every trader has lost an amount before they really learn. the bigger the amount you lost the more you also want to learn to avoid the loss in that same situation. it motivates the traders who lost big time and they always want to get even by winning and making more money.

among the lesson to learn is to sell before the bear market start. learning when it will start is your assignment to do because sometimes, it can fake a bear yet it's a trap.

1236  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of Farming. on: July 07, 2023, 06:18:30 PM
vertical farming is a very old technique though, its been around since time since in my country we have Rice Terraces where our ancestors carved ladders on our mountains in which every step is a rice field. Quite unique in Asia somehow, there are some in Indonesia afaik.

vertical farming though is good if one can do it in the city where only needs a very small space. i would be interested to have my own garden of cabbage or potatoes so i can survive even when the world inflation skyrockets.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: July 07, 2023, 05:57:25 PM
You should study other people's experiences to get valuable lessons from them and not experience the same thing. And if you really can't make money gambling, you better not push yourself so it won't frustrate you.

Indeed, it would be better for us to seek various references from several people to be used as experience and reference material. There have been lots of people who have experienced downturns and bad luck in their lives because of the effects of gambling, but somehow there are still many people who do it. I realize that it is very difficult to get out of that zone and even if it can it will require quite a big struggle when someone has to fight the curiosity of their gambling addiction, and most of them cannot get past this. Be a healthy gambler, don't be too ambitious and don't ever assume that you will be able to get a lot of money just by gambling because this is really just luck that won't always come every time.

Everyone has their own choice and it will be up to them what they will choose. And you should always think about what might happen to you so that you can make decisions wisely and not take the wrong step. Apart from that, by controlling yourself while gambling, you can also control your emotions because when you lose, there is a possibility that your emotions will increase and that can make you use more money.

The fact is that to stop completely is very difficult and almost impossible, but if someone is serious in their intention, they can start by reducing the time for gambling, adding a lot of daily activities will be a great alternative because with a busy life someone will not have time to express his desire to gamble.

you can tell a person has sunken into his gambling vices if he has already done crimes like that grandpa who kidnapped a kid for ransom. it's probably not his first, he must have stolen lots before this like jewelry or so. it can be hard for this old dog to stop gambling as he is addicted. even in prison, he will still gamble that's for sure.

hard for someone to resist when he has money and can easily access a platform gamble. he doesn't just need community support but things to get busy about.
1238  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: UK Crypto, Stablecoin Rules Receive Royal Assent, Passing Into Law on: July 06, 2023, 05:16:54 PM

And those citizens who do not fill out declarations after that will be considered criminals and their cryptocurrencies can be seized by court order. Most crypto enthusiasts will not be happy with such legal regulations.

I think this is looking like assets declaration in cryptocurrency. The UK government is taking the stronger step to sanitize the crypto market in the wake of MICA law. All the regulations are giving the signals for those who want to benefit from cryptocurrency illegally. The crypto tax regime is taking off from UK and this affects the illicit activities, exchange scam etc

sounded more destructive than not having regulation of crypto at all. and they can track all the users especially because they also are coordinating with the exchanges, they will have access to the exchange databases. depending on how much you kept i guess but if they wanted to make you a criminal, they can easily accuse you with the smallest crypto you hid.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you not hodling on: July 06, 2023, 04:28:22 PM
as of this time, I think people are very aware that before halving the price might still be dumped down to $20k so holding right now might just make you lose a big opportunity. i could be wrong in this but in the past halving, the price also dip almost down to $3k again before the bull run. it was like retesting the last support level. if it could happen again, $15k might happen. so much of a dream world. we just don't know the future.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 05, 2023, 07:16:24 PM
World control is not just about money.
Even though there is some truth in what you say, when it comes back to the context of rich and poor, it is actually necessary, everyone cannot be rich and everyone cannot be poor.
It's like an inseparable chain where if there is rich then there must be poor because we cannot define us as rich if there is no comparison.
Talking to bitcoin needs to be remembered that this is also only one of the options for investing and trying to get profits, not that this is the only person to get rich so that in this case everyone has their own way. Those of us who are in bitcoin will definitely choose bitcoin as a means to benefit ourselves but we also cannot compare ourselves with others because everyone has their own strategy and it could be that other people also think we are wrong because they have their own perspective.

in some aspects, OP's idea of fixing the world has a point. but on Earth, it's the rich guy's world. whoever has more BTC will rule and will still oppress the young countries. once one country is dependent on the rich, you can expect the poor country will get sanctions.

money had been fixed many times in the past and we always return to Gold and silver backing the real currency but after hundreds of years pass, we'll be back again to one empire losing its grip passing the torch to another.
