The IPL auction for the next season will be held in 19 December 2019 and the actual matches will be held in late March or early April but before the IPL we have another big tournament and that is PSL Pakistan Super League. I hope this time whole PSL is played in Pakistan and UAE does not get chance to host the 2020 PSL.
Since Pakistan cricket is trying to revive its playing days, they need to conduct the entire PSL in Pakistan rather than shifting to UAE and if they make a decision like that it is interesting to see how many foreign players will be available to be selected for the league. It was a very best sided match and West Indies showed the all round performance and would be happy the way their team has played today and would like to continue in coming matches . Chase would be unhappy as missed his century by just 6 runs and got out.
The pitch report said that it will aide the spinners but none of the Afghanistan spinners were able to take the wickets and since the total was not that huge West Indies took its time and chased the total easily. Why these T20 leagues and now T10 league are becoming popular ? It is because it attracts a lot of people, TV viewership and a lot of money is involved in all this. Players also get more money and even those players who are retired from international cricket, their value increases in such leagues and they charge more money as people like to see the old legends play on the ground. People like to see the results in a short period of time and so is the reason people like the shorter format very much and there is no drag in the matches and there is more advertisement revenue in these shorter formats but i still think that ODI gets much more revenue from media as it has more television air time. The next T20 match between India and Bangladesh looks doubtful. The match is supposed to take place in Rajkot. But the problem is that Cyclone Maha is expected to make a landfall near Rajkot in the next few days and very heavy rains are expected for the entire week. Chances are that the match will be washed out without a single ball bowled. BTW, the third match is scheduled at Nagpur, and hopefully we will get a result from that one.
So there is a real chance that Bangladesh can win the series or draw the series if the second T20 is washed out and it is a huge win for Bangladesh consider the bookies point of view and i wonder what the odds would have being so Bangladesh to win the series  , since i do not wage a bet in T20 matches because of the unpredictability i usually do not bother most of the time but curious to know about the odds. |

I wonder why people blame doc? Nate should have protected himself better. The doc has done the right thing - saved the health of the fighter.
It might not be the best stoppage but the doctor is there to take care of the fighter and his health and not to satisfy the audience and i will watch the rematch but Jorge Masvidal is on a good momentum and i would like to see him fight for the belt before going back to the rematch and Nate Diaz have the option to carry on with the Conor trilogy as Conor expressed his wishes to return. |
