1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: January 03, 2021, 01:35:04 PM
~
Yes it is more tough fights for Ryan so he can build up his reputation and his skill and Campbell is such a good stepping stone, between Haney and Gervonta I like to see him fight Davis first he losses a lot of amateur fights against Haney when they are young
I am expecting Ryan Garcia to fight Devin Haney next and he was present for this fight in the arena and he even expressed his interest in the fight against Garcia. We might even see him fight Jorge Linares next as they were planning to put that fight together last year.

I am not expecting Garcia to fight Gervonta Davis simply because he is under Mayweather promotions and they do not have a good relation with Oscar De La Hoya promotions.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: January 03, 2021, 11:28:26 AM
Was expecting it's a good fight, and I wasn't really wrong. Garcia got knock out early but lucky he was able to come back, damn, the start of the year is good, this two can have a rematch if they like too, I'm sure people would still watch.
It was a good test of character for Ryan Garcia and how he is able to cope up with adversity and he has passed that with flying colors as he was able to come back and recover from the knockdown in the earlier rounds and then regain his composure and then increase the tempo of the fight in later rounds and then win in the seventh round is impressive.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 03, 2021, 09:08:04 AM
They might get bundle up before reaching 300 mark but it was excellent batting performance from Pakistani batmen on green pitch, considering Babar is not playing and they still manage to reach respectable total.
Azhar Ali and Mohammad Rizwan are the sole players that played well and the tail end supported them to reach 297 runs, the openers are struggling while playing in green turf and they need to find a good opening pair to be competitive and what happened to Babar Azam as he is the best player in the side.

Kyle Jamieson was the standout bowler and it looks like he was the find of the season for New Zealand as a second change bowler and with his huge frame he is troubling the batsman with his awkward length.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Happening? $31K on: January 03, 2021, 08:19:06 AM
I plan to buy some but btc is getting out of my reach.
The price of bitcoin is going out of reach for every common investor. The price is rising rapidly and it is hard to understand the logic behind this rally as the price is above $34k and it is hard to foresee how long this rally will last and i would personally stay away during this time as a correction from this situation will hurt you badly as it will take a long time to reach these levels again if there is a correction.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 02, 2021, 11:47:03 PM
Toe to toe? He wont really be that careless on having that kind of style even if this is an exhibition match. He would still make use of his casual style and wont be tending for making the opponent to land some lucky punch
Most of the users who will be purchasing the PPV wants to see if they will finally see Floyd Mayweather floored by a lucky punch, if not how come a defensive boxer like Floyd Mayweather who is not that exciting to watch is able to generate the income he generated throughout his career while the rest of the boxers are not able to earn a quarter he earned in their whole career.

Not a tip, you should check your VAULT because they send the bonus to VAULT wallets on Stake. I also got this everytime rank up on stake, If not wrong I got three time 30$, 50-70$ and 100$+

From rank Bronze, Silver and Gold.
I am yet to reach these upper levels of Gold and getting a $100 bonus is really cool and the number of giveaways they provide already with reloads and monthly bonuses are more than enough even if you take a break and start wagging casually and as far as i know Stake is the only site that provides these sort of reloads and monthly bonuses.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: January 02, 2021, 10:39:00 PM
Next companies to look into buying bitcoins during bloodbath makes sense. In fact, I have become stronger than before to buy bitcoin in bloodbath.
The best time to invest in any potential asset is during the blood bath and bitcoin gave everyone the opportunity during the last correction and if purchased during that time then you could have made a healthy profit unlike any other market and still looking strong.

Many companies invested in bitcoin in the past one year knowing that the halving could take the market to new levels and now i am amazed to see how the market was able to break all the resistance with ease without any correction.
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: another major resistance broke and the FOMO began on: January 02, 2021, 10:14:51 PM
i'm not yet convinced about this to be the main reason even though i keep hearing it used as the reason.
most institutional investors are already in and have bought the majority of the coins they wanted to buy. some of them did it months ago.
they also don't go to bitcoin exchanges to buy bitcoin, they go through other channels which means they don't really affect the price that we see in the market.
I am not convinced that casual investors will be investing when the market is riding high and it could take the market to these levels in a short period of time. Although i am not certain from where these investments are coming from i am still assuming that the institutional investors as the reason for these rallies even though they purchase bulk amounts outside the exchanges.

If you ask me I honestly would have liked that the winner once chosen should not win again on the same draw because whales are going to take away most of the prizes as it happened and giveaways are meant to give everyone a decent chance but this looked like another way of rewarding high rollers on stake.
The problem here is that the prize selection depends upon the ticket number you are holding and if someone is holding multiple tickets that got selected then he is eligible for the win and it was nowhere mentioned that the prize will be distributed among different users.

I never had any doubt that lamo was going to be given to a high roller because they have 20-30k tickets I believe and someone actually had 1% of the total tickets. But for giveaways with 1k to 100 people should have given us small gamblers a better chance by eliminating winner once picked from the giveaway.
It is natural that users who wage more will have more tickets and they will have a better chance to win multiple times and that is what happened and it is fair to give them the share and if you were lucky enough you could win with a few tickets as well Cheesy.
1290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: January 01, 2021, 10:32:37 PM
Some people will even buy at 30K, but that depends on individual perspective, knowledge and understanding of the market as well as the believe that the price will increase upwards. But for me I will observe btc at 30K to see how things will unfold.
It is really difficult to understand the market but if you have the patience and confidence to hold the coins for a much longer period of time even if the market goes down then there is nothing wrong in invest at any price as the market will recover eventually as we have seen throughout its short history.
There were many who invest at the top of the rally in 2017 and many burned their balance because they sold the coins at a loss and it took 4 years to reach those levels again and if you are investing when the market is high make sure you hold the coins even if the market goes down.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to convert your LTC into BCH - I see BCH may follow Bitcoin as of 2016 on: January 01, 2021, 10:07:46 PM
It is time to convert your LTC in to Bitcoin Cash, It looks like Bitcoin Cash is more volatile than Bitcoin. I am taking Bitcoin Cash as bitcoin in 2016. I don't claim that Bitcoin Cash will really follow the Bitcoin momentum but it is more volatile than bitcoin so anything is possible to happen.
If you think that you need to convert your alts or Litecoin then the best coin is always bitcoin and not its fork if you are looking for profit, then the decision is all yours as it is your money and investment and there are other coins as well that could rally as well.
I am not following the development of BCH but if you think that the investors will pour their money you need to have a reason and i would like to know about that.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP - The 2nd Biggest Scam in Digital Currency History on: January 01, 2021, 08:22:18 PM
I am not a big fan of XRP but i will not call them a scam but it was an experiment and the product was successful as it was able to attract investors which was evident when the price started rallying and when you hear a verdict by the SEC you cannot come to a conclusion that it was a scam as majority of the projects in existence was an experiment of some sorts.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why XRP Crash? on: December 31, 2020, 12:00:13 AM
The reason is because the SEC sues the XRP and the exchange website that will going to remove or disable the trading of the XRP. Well I'm not really sure where would the XRP is going looks like from $0.7 or $0.8 to $0.2 that's really a huge crash for XRP.
It is a fact that SEC has fined them and we saw a momentarily correction and i thought that was the end of the centralized Ripple but the price keeps on rising which is crazy on subsequent days and that too when most of the exchanges are planning to remove them from their exchanges on fears of getting punished by the SEC for allowing or facilitating them and Coinbase announced that they are removing it.

I have no idea about the Sri Lankan team members but their batsman played well than expected but their bowlers failed to make an impact and Sri Lanka still trail by 160 runs and lost 2 wickets already and with 2 days left South Africa can win the match unless you see some extraordinary resistance by the Sri Lankan batsman.
While the checking the profiles of the players all of them are average batsman who is averaging around 30 which is not a good standard at this level and it is highly unlikely we will see any kind of resistance from the batsman in the second innings.

We still don't know if the next test match will be played in Sydney due to a coronavirus outbreak and if not it will most likely played at the MCG where this match is currently being played so it could go in India's favour and they have a chance to maybe go 2-1 in the series.
What is the present situation, heard that the borders are closed and the cricket board will be taking the decision this week i guess and if they play in the same pitch then it will aide the spinners as the wicket will be deteriorated for another Test match.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: December 28, 2020, 11:25:25 PM
Definitely, Luke Campbell has a chance to win, but saying he is a good fighter as compare to Ryan? I disagree though. Each fighter has it's level, there are elite and there are some that are really good but always fell short. And I think Campbell belong to the later group.
In a fight experience can be a huge factor, Ryan Garcia is an upcoming young prospect and this fight will be the biggest test of his career, looking at his past fights Ryan Garcia will have the speed advantage but you cannot completely count out the experience factor of Luke Campbell and he is an Olympic gold medal winner and he had losses in his career but they were close fights.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 28, 2020, 10:48:53 PM
The odds for Paul may lure some of the risky bettors as currently, it's an odds that can consider a jackpot lol.

But since this is an obvious win for Mayweather, others might take the other betting options instead such as:

-TKO or Decision,
-End Round,
-Round Winners,
-Who will receive the first bleed and anything created by our preferred betting website.
This is an exhibition bout and Mayweather is known to wage huge bets and i would like to choose a draw as you never know what will happen during exhibition bouts and mostly it ends in a draw so that both of their entertainment value remains intact and Logan Paul is a smart businessman Cheesy.

I am not expecting a TKO win but the possibility is Mayweather winning the fight by decision or the fight ending up in a draw.
1297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gave a 230% returns in 2020: will the rally continue? on: December 28, 2020, 10:29:44 PM
We might see a big dip in coming weeks but it's extremely unlikely to fall below $20k. Target price $5k? That's ridiculous.

I'll go with what experienced Bitcoiners and industry insiders are predicting: target price for 2021 is $300k-$400k.
Which industry insiders predict that the price would rally to $300k to $400k next year, even if it crosses a quarter of those levels then it will be massive and what happens when the bubble bursts. All the institutional investors will dump all the coins they are holding at one point or the other and if that happens the crash would be huge and it will attract SEC and other authorities to investigate these price manipulation Grin.
1298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 257 Main Event: McGregor vs. Poirier [Prediction and Discussion] on: December 28, 2020, 09:51:42 PM
The first match between McGregor and Poirier started the rise of McGregor where he was sparring with his mouth well before the match and the mystic mac persona started after this fight if i remember correctly. Porier was a young fighter coming into the fight and Conor stopped him in the first round as he predicted but the second fight is an entirely different fight and i am expecting a tough battle and i am picking Poirier in this fight consider McGregor was mostly inactive and his terrible gas tank.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 28, 2020, 09:30:16 PM
Sometimes luck does play it's role and the team with good odds might lose ending up losing all your bets.
Luck does play a major role in our prediction, i have seen countless upsets in the past two months alone in different sports and more so it was evident in Soccer as there were many upsets and draws and that was the case in Tennis as well, the most lopsided odds that always win is in Table Tennis which will make you think whether those matches are fixed as the heavy underdog mostly wins.

When i make a bet, odds is a major factor and the understanding of the team always helps in picking what bet to place in a match.

^  At the top of my head, Adesanya vs Costa and Thiago Santos vs Teixeira.  Disappointment of the year there's Sean O'Malley.  Fighter to watch next year, def Fiziev.  He'll be at the top 10 at LW for sure.
Adesanya and Costa was a complete one sided fight despite all the hype, the fight of the year was Justin Gaethje v Tony Ferguson as i did not expect Justin Gaethje to win against Ferguson and the disappointment for the year was Tony Ferguson as he lost two in a row and the another one is Khabib announcing his retirement.  Sean O'Malley injured his leg in the fight and i think they are scheduled for a rematch next year.

The superstar of the year is none other than Khamzat Chimaev.
