In the initial stages many lost their passwords and private keys and many of the coins are lost and this is not the first time i am hearing these sob stories, first heard about these sob stories when the price of bitcoin rallied in 2013 and there were many who even knew their wallet address but they can only stair at their coins as they is no way they could recover their passwords.

I imagine 1 BTC might value then 50-100 Millions a coin, looking at the USD inflation rate.

You might say that's too far away, but 1M a coin is something you can see in your lifetime.
Just for argument sake i will agree with you that the price of bitcoin will reach $100 millions per coin because of the USD inflation, what i would like to know is that what will be the transaction charges you will be planning to input when the price rises those valuation, common sense says that it wont be cheap either and who in the right mind will be making the transactions  Grin.

Another setback for India, Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of the next Test and the long list of injuries continue to hurt India.
With a long list of injuries India will not get into much trouble by the authorities even if they loose the next match. India really impressed everyone with their performance in the last two matches after a one sided blow in the first match and now with more than half their side injured there is nothing much to prove and even if they loose it was a good series.

I will be surprised if India is able to pull a draw in the next match and if India wins or draws the match then Ajinkya Rahane should be the full time captain in Test matches.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin is the new digital godl, and going to reach crazy 100k... on: January 11, 2021, 08:36:03 PM
If Bitcoin is the new digital godl, and going to reach crazy 100k, 300k price predictions then why are people even selling right now? Why is there even hesitation around 40k?
Having a wishful thinking is one aspect but to believe that the price would cross $100k and $300k the price might reach those valuation if you have the patience to hold the coin for the next decade as you cannot expect the price to rally all the time. Even right now the price has jumped multiple times than its old all time high valuation.
The rally is not always a one way traffic, so expect a correction once in a while Tongue.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic on: January 11, 2021, 07:12:44 PM
I’ve seen this twice before...  If you’re really thinking of selling, wait for a couple of days when it’s bouncing back.  It could bounce back to 36k - 38k and give you a chance to sell at a better price.  If it doesn’t...  We’re f*cked anyway.  Lawl.
I wish the market will not bounce back this soon, i wanted to see a major correction before the next rally  Cheesy. I have seen the markets in the past and there was a correction always before the big rally and this time around we did not see that and instead the market was rallying without any breaks and breaking all the resistance with ease.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 11, 2021, 05:29:11 PM
It was OZ game till ystd as they needed only couple of quick wickets at the start of the today's session and they would have easily wrapped up tail enders. But after losing Rahane easily, Pant stood up to the challenge and this made India confident that they could end up drawing the test. Also, Pujara, Vihari and Aswin did well to stand on the pitch for long time to ensure they do not give up easily their wickets and resulted in the draw. Overall, India would be happy with the result.
Australian bowlers bowled their heart out as far as i consider but they missed the catches and that will hurt the bowlers and the pitch was slower in the final day but it was holding up without any major tear and wear and for a Test match they need to prepare wickets that wears in the last two days and India was supposed to draw the match because they fought till the end.

With this test drawn now all eyes on the decider probably if any team could make it win or else series would end in a draw.
The next match is taking place in Brisbane and Australia usually dominate the opponent and India is struggling with fitness and which player will be in the playing eleven is still a mystery.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 11, 2021, 04:09:20 PM
~
You have forgotten the recent Tyson exhibition fight were the fight added in a draw, there might be a repetition of what transpired between "Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior" were the fight was in favor of Tyson but was set to be a draw. We should understand that most of these fight are scripted from the onset and what we see at the end are the results from the scripted boxing  Wink.
There is a huge difference between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones doing an exhibition bout as they are the legends of the sport but Logan Paul cannot be compared to anyone in boxing and comparing in any aspect is a big disrespect and Floyd Mayweather is another legend of the sport but he is not battling any legendary boxer but a youtube sensation who knows to box and that is a major difference even if the fight goes to a draw to the reputation of Mayweather.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Broner vs Campa Feb 13 on: January 11, 2021, 02:13:58 PM
I would say that Campa is no push-over, he is Mexican and I think he will give Broner a tough fight. No odds yet, but if Broner is the betting favourite, I might go with the underdog Campa just for s**t and giggles, hehehe.
Adrien Broner will be the favorite in the fight by the bookies even though he is returning after a 2 year gap. He was having legal troubles and i am not sure whether he will be in a good state of mind and the long break he had will have an impact in the fight and i will place a small bet on Pedro Campa simply because Broner is returning after two loss and a draw.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in TRC20 tokens on: January 11, 2021, 01:36:17 PM
But I guess that ERC20 is more popular than TRC20 token so that people will choose ERC20 tokens.
There are many tokens using  ERC 20 but with the increase in transaction fees many have migrated to TRC 20 but with the network upgrade the problems with the fees will be sorted and that is what i hope. I used to invest in new projects in the past but once you feel the heat when the market crashes and you loose your money then you will stay away from them until you find some promising project from an established team.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 11, 2021, 11:39:21 AM
Finally they did it.... Its still 1-1 and decider is on Brisbane, Australia is fav but i wouldn't write India off now.

Yesterday winning or draw were looking a dream for Indian fans but the way they put up the excellent show of grit on 5th day against the quality bowlers, not to mention with injured team. When Pant was batting i was thinking may be, may be there is a chance of winning the game but still I am extremely proud.
I thought Australia would win the match from the situation they were in and they took the wicket of Ajinkya Rahane quite cheaply in the morning session and i thought it was a matter of time that they will pick the rest of the wickets but when they started dropping crucial catches especially Pant before he even started scoring runs and that changed the match in my opinion and the entire burden goes to Tim Paine for dropping those and not taking advantage of the new ball.
1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 11, 2021, 09:26:37 AM
Check yourself first and ask some questions...

Am I in need of money this time?
Or, I am already profiting a lot, is this enough?
You need to have an assessment about the market as a whole when you take these decisions as well, you need to identify the general market landscape and see whether you can diversify your portfolio in other markets as well or your plan will be to take some profit and reinvest when there is a market correction. I do book my profit every now and then and with the alts rising again i am planning to offload everything and concentrate only on a few coins rather than having a vast portfolio.

One thing is certain i will not be investing when the market is riding high, i will wait for the market correction before making my decisions.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 11, 2021, 05:00:31 AM
Cheteshwar Pujara is gone, and what this means is that the tail has started for India (Jadeja in all probability is not going to bat). Hanuma Vihari is having a batting average of around 30, and I don't think that he has the capability to stay there with the tail-enders and score the required runs. It was Rishabh Pant who changed the course of the game, and once he got out momentum shifted again to Australia.
I did not expect Rishabh Pant to play like this because i thought he was injured and now the tail end players are in the crease, Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin is in the crease and India still need 119 runs to win and how long they can play depends upon their will to draw the match as they still have 30 more overs.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NPXS] pundi x moon or doom ? on: January 10, 2021, 10:09:32 PM
It looks like Pundi-X is in a surviving mode. NPX was a very decent project for its time and the NPXS POS terminals.

More modern and accepted payment systems took their place, and the pandemic wasn't exactly benefiting brick-and-mortar shops and off-line shopping.
pundiX is on survival mode for over two years, the market only rallied once and after the coin getting listed in binance the market started its correction and after that it never recovered and now it is valued at one satoshi for a very long time and even with the entire market recovered Pundi is not showing any signs of recovery.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 10, 2021, 09:45:29 PM
Ya, I've seen videos of Floyd taking some nasty punches over the years.  He can definitely take them.  It does seem the age/size factor is the only chance Logan has.  He should be bulking up to the heaviest of his life and strength conditioning for that one lucky shot.  McGregor managed to get a good left hand uppercut on Floyd during their fight, but he just took it.  I feel like McGregor hits harder than Logan, but maybe that's not correct.  I'd like to see Logan weigh in around 235 for this fight, as I think that's the level of strength he'll need to have a chance at putting Floyd down with a lucky haymaker.
It is true that the chin of Floyd Mayweather is underrated as he is the best defensive boxer and he was elusive throughout his career but had some tough fights and some close decisions but no one was able to knock him out in his entire career, Conor McGregor has a heavy left hand and he usually knocks out fighters and after that uppercut Floyd started moving around and Conor was literally running around and his game plan was to take the fight in the later rounds and then finish him and Logan Paul has a chance considering his age and you never know about his reflex as it goes down with age.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 10, 2021, 07:45:50 PM
Another testing time for the middle order. Don't mind losing the game but they should fight till the end and show some character.
The Australian bowlers will be hot in the morning and will intimidate their captain Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara as they are the senior most players and their performance determine how long India will resist the defeat. They have two injured players in the team and it is highly unlikely they will be coming out to bat and with a weak middle order this is the only established Test players and a wicket will expose the entire batting line up.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 09, 2021, 11:40:18 PM
If Smith and Labuschagne can survive the morning session then I think we can see Australia getting a lead of 400+ which will put it out of reach for India and give the Australia bowlers 4 seesions to try and bowl India out.
Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne should bat for a long time and with the slippery hands of the Indian fielders it is possible that they will get a good lead and put India to bat and with Jadeja injured they will have one bowler short in the match and Pant is not the wicket keeper and it is doubtful whether he will come out to bat, so it looks like Australia just needs to pick 8 wickets to win the Test.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: January 09, 2021, 11:23:26 PM

LOL it would be the same for men :  "what if there are parts that are accidentally touched, will it be a form of harassment in sports?"
Or do you mean men can't be harassed by women?
If there are parts that cannot be touched by your team mate or your opponent while playing a sport then you should not play the game  Cheesy. It is not even a level playing field and what ever genetically mutation they do they will not match the speed of men  Cheesy. There are crazier things happening in the world and let them experiment Cheesy.
1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 09, 2021, 07:11:48 PM
We hope the old days come back again were Manny Pacquiao will pick on Floyd Mayweather for another great fight after their retirement. This " Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20" is just for fun for those who like to watch boxing on the basis of fun.
Time is off the essence, they are getting old and to fight there is a timeline and you cannot fight till you get to the grave. We might see an exhibition bout as mentioned by other users but you cannot hope for that. Logan Paul is a social media sensation and he knows how to attract the audience and Floyd wants to take advantage of this popularity and stay afloat in the media and that is the reason he is doing these on off appearance.
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 09, 2021, 06:37:04 PM
The problem is not with the BBL. The issue arises when Cricket Australia schedules the Indian tour in such a way, that it overlaps with the BBL schedule. This means less revenue for the broadcasters, and the unavailability of national players for franchise duty. When the TV channels pay such huge amounts for the media rights, they expect better support and understanding from Cricket Australia.
Is the schedule really creating revenue issues for the broadcasters, i understand the reason they scheduled the Indian tour and the only reason is to generate the revenue that is lost due to the pandemic and the format of matches they are playing is different and the only players that will be missing is Smith and Warner along with the bowlers.

Last two day ripple raise more than 30% price up, how come any coin wanna delist on any exchange market could up more than 30%. Will be way for developer make holder and investor panic selling then they take chance to buy back on lower price? I got new update with an exchange wanna delist ripple again bit still not believe because price is up and delist just drama for developer get to buy coin on lower price. better if you still have ripple hold and for any any wanna invest on ripple is good way during have lower price.
My advice to everyone will be to stay away from Ripple until everything is sorted with the SEC, from what i understand the developers are trying their best to sort out the issues and it looks like they are trying to settle the issues so that they could continue with their business. The decision by the SEC determines the future of Ripple and so is the case with other coins as well who raised money.
