1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 28, 2021, 12:16:37 PM
South Africa is playing carefully but they just lost a couple of quick wickets. They are not having any substantial lead either and they have just lost another wicket which is pathetic, i was expecting a good fight back but it looks like they are tired of batting any longer  Grin.

Finally Pakistan might win the match after some disappointing series, with the inconsistencies you can only confirm once the match is over Cheesy .
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No positive sign in LTC on: January 27, 2021, 08:23:19 PM
LTC had a small bullish movement with BTC being bullisj but after reaching $180 or close, it’s moving in the reversal way. Almost all the coins had good pump, but what's wrong with LTC? It has not risen, despite price has been decreased. Can someone put a theory behind this?
You need to blame Charlie Lee for that, he was public when he dumped all his coins when the price of Litcoin rallied last time and if you expect others to trust the development and invest heavily you need to have balls of steel  Grin. I am just happy to see that the price rallied when the rest of the market rallied even though the rise was not that sharp but for a coin which went below below $40 in the last correction it is a decent rally.

To be honest I think there's more money or hype if there's a while before it even happened. Let Connor have a few more fights and Khabib is AWOL for a time then try get the fight together and bill it as their last or whatever or at least Khabib's mighty return for the 30-0 and Connor looking for redemption etc.
The only fight Conor McGregor can have is the Nate Diaz trilogy but the rest of the fights are really difficult for him if he is looking for a Khabib rematch. With the comments from Dana White i do not think that Khabib will return unless it is a GSP super fight or against someone dominating Islam Makhachev if he reaches the title contention and if they call out Khabib he might come out for retribution to avenge his team mates loss.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 27, 2021, 02:21:10 PM
Since you are aware that both fighters have high records in terms of wins by way of knockout, why do you think that this fight will not be ending with a KO?
Tyson Fury showed his punching power against Wilder in his last fight but if you look at both their records, Tyson Fury is a pure boxer who does not put full power in his punches unless he is forced to do so but Anthony Joshua try to knock the opponent out, it depends on the fight plan Tyson Fury comes up with and i am picking Tyson.

Also, how did you come up with a judgment that Joshua has made a more impressive record than Tyson Fury in terms of their winning history and not in terms of their number of fights?
You need to understand that Tyson Fury was not active for a long time because he was undergoing depression while Anthony Joshua was building his reputation and career when Fury stopped boxing and hence new fans might think that Joshua have an impressive record Wink.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: January 27, 2021, 12:57:45 PM
Yes, McGregor is the one who started this kind of fights and set the precedent.

And now everyone wants to do it, specially if their career is over in MMA, like Ben Askren. He really can't get over it mentality, leading to the fight there are a lot of trash talking between him and Masvidal. And then he gets knockout cold in 5 seconds.
If someone is able to make money even after retirement i would support them, i am not a big fan of the match up because Ben Askren was never a great boxer in MMA and how he is able to manage someone like Jake Paul who is trained to box even though he is not an established boxer.
About the Masvidal fight i never expected the fight to be over in record time, i was expecting Ben Askren to take Masvidal down and finish the fight but it was a great game plan by Masvidal.
1186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Driving to the moon? HODLer installs portable mining rig in BMW on: January 26, 2021, 11:41:23 PM
This guy is probably damn rich to try out stuffs like this. I mean, this isn't an efficient way right? All those electricity he is going to need and even more when driving the car. Also, what like others said, what about the heat issue and the gpus weighing down the car?
Kinda feels like he just did it to get some reaction. He did say though he is doing it to "annoy the gamers" and the earnings are like a "bonus".
The person who is doing these experiment must be wealthy, the weight of GPU is not that much and there is no mentioned about the size but the heat will be a real issue and how he is dissipating it is not clear either, if he added any other addition method to cool the machine which will make the entire thing heavy.

Either way good to read and it would be great to know what coins he is mining using his car gig  Grin.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High possibility major governments will BAN Bitcoin in the near future on: January 26, 2021, 03:38:28 PM
The major governments of the world have for some time been laying the groundwork for their own national cryptocurrencies. Does that matter? Yes, it matters a lot. Bitcoin will be a direct competitor.
Who cares if every government comes out with their centralized coin, there is a major difference, bitcoin is a decentralized currency and it is not even a competition.

There is a clear danger that the US, Europe, China, Japan and others will get togheter and flat out ban and even criminalize the usage and holding of Bitcoin. Resulting in after the ban, if you are cought using and holding BTC, you would get a huge fine or jail term.
China does have its restrictions, but Japan already legalized bitcoin and they cannot jump from a pro bitcoin country to anti bitcoin because there are businesses that run as well, Europe will not criminalize bitcoin.

The price of Bitcoin would get killed completely, you would be looking at Bitcoin below $1000.
I would like to see the price of bitcoin around $1000  Tongue.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 25, 2021, 06:29:37 PM
What to say except that luck is unpredictable.Congrats to him as I think he will be thanked even after his death by few other generations of his family because he has secured at least 5-7 generations if they are smart enough to manage this amount in a correct way.

This person though can buy a few successful businesses and run them in order to secure an even more brilliant future than the one he already has forward.
Getting huge amount of money could make or break a person. If you search online you could find many people that won big lotteries that ended up busting everything in a short period of time. I assume that a percentage of the winnings will reduce as taxation and it depends upon different states and the rest if he is smart enough then will secure his future generations as well.
1189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 25, 2021, 04:11:07 PM
I've thought about it myself actually: am I willing to lose something to win something really big (and it would have to be substantial enough to live out the rest of my life in comfort without worrying about family).

Heart attack? Let me win $1 billion and I'll say bring it on!
I am not willing to loose anything for money, i would rather live healthy with a limited amount of money than having billions and struggling to stay alive  Cheesy. I take care of my health and hence i would not worry too much about it as i work out often and if you are sitting idle and spending your life then the risk of fatal diseases increases.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 25, 2021, 03:26:16 PM
Honestly I did not know who is Connor McGreggor and I did not watch his fight before
If you were a fight fan you would know about Conor McGregor as he along with Mayweather has the biggest PPV record in boxing history.

I was a child when Manny have fight people are focus on watching on his fight and not go to the job to watcg him or maybe for the Filipino it is National holiday because of him and the best with that is there is no crime happens during in his fight in my country.
I understand the impact he had in Philippines as i saw his documentaries and he motivated many youngsters.

A boxing match is still possible if they can promote the fight properly, McGregor can claim that his leg was compromised and hence was knocked out and in a pure boxing match he will be competitive Wink.
1191  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 25, 2021, 02:19:09 PM
Can’t believe Mcgregor lost to be honest, I have to admit I’m disappointed. He should probably retire & stick to it now, he’s lost 2 of his last 3 fights. There’s nowhere for him to go now, his time as number 1 is over. Khabib shouldn’t bother coming out of retirement, there’s nothing to tempt him (on a sporting note).
I cannot believe there were many who trusted Conor McGregor will come out and deliver a classical performance, he fought 3 times in the last 5 years and if you expect him to be in fight shape and that too against a fighter who faced every good boxer in the division and came out on top against the list of Anthony Pettis, Justin Gaethje, Eddie Alvarez, Max Holloway and Dan Hooker and i am surprised everyone slept on his skills, i made a bet on both the underdogs but did not expect the knockout.

Conor McGregor can go for the Nate Diaz trilogy and it is the perfect fight.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: January 25, 2021, 11:00:29 AM
All Yobit exchange user already Received this Massage on their Mail. But i Don't know that, it will good or Bad for their User. Maybe have some strong rules of this offer and the Team don't share any rules with us.
They are spamming with a offers for a long time and every exchange does that, the problem with them is that they have some shady coins which can be seen only in their exchange which is mainly used to pump and dump and i am not sure about their investment plans and i never bothered to check them out because i do not want to risk my coins and expect returns and they are still an anonymous team.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 24, 2021, 11:59:56 PM
This is what Floyd has to say about the Conor lost:

Quote
Conor can not even win in his own sport, but talking about coming back to boxing to fight Pacquiao. Nobody wants to see that, it's like my leftovers eating leftovers."
That is a real statement, the mystic Mac is lost a long time ago and the career of Conor McGregor peaked at the right time and he made all the money in the world, he is just fighting to make more money in a short period of time without much sweat and enjoying his alcoholic drinks and i knew this was coming as there is no easy fight left for him in any division.

I bet if Conor McGregor rematches Max Holloway, he will loose against him as well considering how much he changed as a fighter and how much others have improved while Conor did not add anything more into his game.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: invest into alt coins after every all time high? on: January 24, 2021, 11:49:33 PM
Some people think they are very smart and will buy soon after btc peaks and real alt season starts but to be honest btc peak is not easy to find and most peopel will lose taking this risky strategy. The best time to buy is from longterm support areas during downtrend.
You cannot complain because if you look at the charts or if you are active in the market during the last rallies then you would understand the reason why he invested in alt coin when the price of bitcoin reached its all time high valuation, usually after the bitcoin rally the alt season starts gaining momentum.
I stopped riding the market like that because of certain experience and i am not planning to take any risk this year because of my financial situation.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase for Alt Coins.... on: January 24, 2021, 11:11:25 PM
While you're in the giving mood...what do you do when a new coin comes out and it's not offered by your exchange?
Since you are new in the market, my only advice is not jump into new coins even if they promote it as the next big project or coin that could surpass everything else. If you are willing to learn about new projects the alt coins section gives you many option and information about new projects but you need to weed out the scams and fake projects.
To get a coin listed in exchanges there are charges the developers need to pay and usually according to the budget a project is having the coins are listed in exchanges and if the exchange you are trading is not offering you can check the project /coin website to identify where they are planning to list.
1196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: January 24, 2021, 10:52:39 PM
I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

So, can anyone please tell me if I should dump my bitcoins with some losses (selling at lesser price than the buying price), or should I hold on to it?
Even if you go through a million blogs who analyze the price of bitcoin you will not find a concrete answer for your dilemma, it would be great if you could convey your entry point as it is more than important while giving you any advice as there is no point in selling your coins at a loss as the price will recover in due time, no can claim about the certain path but i am still hoping we would see another rally in the coming months before a major correction.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 24, 2021, 10:20:00 PM

You can choose your own combination and just bet constantly because there are many cases that when the time they forget or intentionally did not bet in a certain time is that day or some situation comes to not let them bet Their numbers comes out and win.
I tried to come up with multiple combination to understand what you really meant to say and i still cannot understand and it looks like a word play  Grin.

I have tried multiple times and have won small amounts but to win the jackpot is always a dream for everyone and in the past few weeks i am seeing many threads here about people winning lotteries while indirectly promoting them as well Cheesy.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 24, 2021, 05:11:02 PM
There was some truth in what Dana White said.  If McGregor won, there would’ve been a part of Khabib that def would’ve want to come back.  Mcgregor vs Khabib 2 would be the biggest bout in UFC history.  It would’ve been epic.  Oh well...
Dana White will be crying as he wanted Conor McGregor to fight against Khabib and majority of the media underestimated Dustin Poirier and i knew he will win the fight simply because of his experience fighting against killers and winning them.

And how come the UFC didn’t sign Chandler 5 years ago?  He fights well, he’s articulate..  The kind of guy who could be a good champ and be a poster boy for the UFC.
Michael Chandler was a poster boy for Bellator and he was not even open to test other markets and so is the reason he was not in the UFC and this is his last run and now he wanted to test the market and he was signed to the UFC and he was the only fighter who is a top fighter who never fought in the UFC and he just showed his explosive style and he is yet to show his wrestling skills.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard to swallow pills about Bitcoin and Blockchain on: January 24, 2021, 04:03:55 PM
An interesting view of a person who is involved in Bitcoin for a long time.
Bitcoin and blockchain was created to eliminate banks as a medium of exchange. But people go to banks to withdraw their money. Which is a total contradiction.
This is a view some might be having, but the fact is bitcoin is not created to eliminate banks, how you think everyone is going to purchase bitcoin, if the theory was true you need to invest in mining hardware and start mining so that you do not need to use your bank account to purchase the coin, if not any purchase you make you need a bank account to transfer the money unless you plan to risk yourself and meet a complete stranger to purchase bitcoin with cash.

Are people really in the industry for the money? Is this the reason why adoption takes such a long time?
With the market which is having too much emphasis on speculation rather than using it as a currency, what do you think, majority is looking to make the profit.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government not take good step? on: January 24, 2021, 03:05:31 PM
I khow many countries government are not allow bitcoin.nowadays bitcoin became very popular and country can move forward as a result of using cryptocurrency.

So, I think now the government should take a good step. What do you think about it?
Why you want the government to take steps in the market. I want the government far away from it as bitcoin is meant to be a decentralized currency and we do not want the government to step in and manipulate the market in the name of regulation Tongue.
Regulations are inevitable as the governments around the world want to have a share of the market and with the price of bitcoin soaring to new heights we might see the regulations even if we do not want them.
