1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 28, 2020, 08:31:45 PM
I think you are a professional gambler. You have a lot of knowledge and skills about sports gambling. I am almost new to sports gambling. I have been doing sports gambling for almost 2 years.
Two years is more than enough to understand the trade and the different options you get for a match in different sports book. Skill is all about understand the sport and the team you are betting and for that you need to be an avid follower of the sport.

Although I have some skills in cricket and football, my skills in other sports are very low. Even then I bet on some games, but couldn’t succeed. I try every day to improve my skills.
What are the leagues you are following in Football, i do place bets in Spanish league and then EPL and i do follow the sport closely to make my decision on what bets to make for the games i follow even though i do not wage huge amounts, i do for the thrill of watching the match.

Cricket is easier to predict than Football and hence started following but not much success as i only wage on money line mostly
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 28, 2020, 07:33:33 PM
What i see in Floyd is a scaredy cat, whose afraid in losing and tarnishing his record in boxing. That's no fighter at all, i can't believe he's called number one boxer in the world but afraid in getting back in real fights. When Manny is beating elite professional boxer's younger than him. Come on Floyd you can be more than that, give us Spence or Crawford.
Why would you want to see Floyd Mayweather return to professional boxing when he is past his prime, he is 43 years old and he made his money throughout his career and he made some smart investments in real estate as far as i know and mostly all the boxers return to fight well past their prime to make money as they have no other source of income.

No one can argue against Floyd Mayweather and he is the best defensive boxer the world has seen and no one will argue against that who understands boxing .

Steve Smith, without any doubt is the best Australian batsman and his lack of form has had a huge impact on the prospects of Australia. David Warner is absent from this series and combined with Smith's lack of form, Australia has struggled in the batting department. Everyone were expecting a 0-4 whitewash for the Indians. If they could win even one match, it is going to be huge.
Steve Smith might be exhausted playing for many months without meeting his wife and if you look at his social media pages he is missing his wife and he was supposed to meet after a long time but with the boarders closed they are not able to meet even now and that might have affected his performance  Cheesy.

His scores 1, 1*, 0 and 8 which is rare and lets see how he is going to perform in the rest of the series.

When Sri Lanka played well than expected i wanted to cash out but only today i got the best odds to cash out but still around 60% loss  Cry.
Did you check the scoreboard, South Africa scored 621 runs. Faf du Plessis fell one run short of a double century and Dean Elgar fell 5 runs short of his century Tongue.
1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: December 28, 2020, 05:40:10 PM
We all witness how Bitcoin dropped and experienced huge downfall, though there's big difference from how that last bull take place
from how we are seeing now, there are serious businesses who begin to adopt this system and the rise is not just artificial but
Companies are embracing this chain.
The current rally in bitcoin is helped by companies who are willing to invest heavily and so is the reason we are seeing a huge rally and usually during holiday season the market usually settles down and the rally would restart after the vacation but this time around it is completely different and the only way we would see a major correction during this phase of the market is when the regulators come up with something that could affect the market which is highly likely.
1305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - $500k Holiday Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 28, 2020, 03:15:36 PM
it’s true that chances to win are really small, but if it’s your lucky day then you can even win with few tickets, so it’s worth participating in these type of competitions. Furthermore you’ll are right as Stake did gave a nice weekly and monthly reload for all, and with the right strategies these reloads can be turned into big amounts.
In the recent give away some people won multiple tickets, SMK88 won three tickets and FossYouTube as well as iiisenior also won thrice in this giveaway and they were extremely lucky. I did not win a ticket this time as i was not active and they might be huge rollers who collected several tickets and they were lucky enough to win three tickets in one competition.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Tether's market cap is huge! (usdt) on: December 28, 2020, 12:59:28 PM
It's very much a "path of least resistance" kinda deal.  Regardless of how shady it looks, traders want the liquidity.  It's shortsighted and risky, but it's convenient.  They'll keep using it until it blows up in their face.
Everyone knows that USDT will blow up and still there is no other choice and hence forced to trade using that. With SEC coming hard on Ripple we should expect more rulings to come in the near future and once the shady market is clamped we might see the entire market coming down.

I am expecting the authorities to shut down USDT altogether like they did with Liberty Reserve.
1307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 28, 2020, 11:45:44 AM
^ ICO hype specially got ETH a lot higher I remember that one. Everyone bought ETH in order to invest into ICO's and there were few with over a billion dollars invested as well, it was like a joke at the time that new projects got that much money.

Nowadays something similar happened, ETH got higher because there were people who wanted to invest into DeFi projects as well which is why I think it is quite obvious that people actually increased the price of all crypto currencies in the same manner, they got into bitcoin, and eth, and made profit, and turned that profit into ETH and that was it.
The ICO hype took the ETH to new levels during 2016 - 2017 rally as everyone was investing in ETH to get into the market and it was a joke that every project was able to raise millions even with shitty ideas and then the scams followed up and it continued till the market had a big correction and this time around there is the DeFi hype along with the ETH upgrade to POS as well as everyone is trying to purchase 32 ETH to stake and there are even group buys to stake the coins.

When it comes to bitcoin the institutional investment is pouring in and they are taking the market to new levels and with the economic situation not that great globally everyone is hedging on the decentralized currency.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is pointless if the BTC fees increases along with rise in BTC price! on: December 28, 2020, 10:11:39 AM
So in short everyone thinks that one should start using lightening network rather than using btc itself.
It's like using alternative for your stuff.
If you still want to send micro transactions using bitcoin you can still use them but you need to have the patience to wait for a much longer time, today i was able to send bitcoin at 3 SAT/B but it took a few hours to get the confirmation and you could get a confirmation within 20 minutes for just 51 SAT/B which is not that high either.

But would have been better if fees were in control. Like the traditional banking system.
A decentralized system with a block limit to function like a traditional banking system  Roll Eyes Grin.

Indian bowlers are looking to be in splendid form, without any exceptions. Australia is still trailing by 33 runs, with just 5 wickets in hand. No one really expected India to have a good chance against Australia in this match, especially without their key players. If they manage to win this one, then it is going to be such a morale booster for them. There is even a chance of a win by an innings.
Australia messed up big time, Steve Smith is struggling in this series which is a rare scene and the credit goes to the bowlers and when their batsman put the score on the board they were able to dismantle the Australian batting line up with ease as if both these teams are playing in different pitches.

Pat Cummins and Green in the crease and they still trail by 27 runs and India will win the match and level the series.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have jump to $27000, can this be maintain by 2021? on: December 27, 2020, 11:14:57 PM
Bitcoin have jump to $27000, can this be maintain by 2021?
The price keeps on rising and we are breaking new record every day and that cannot continue like this all the time, we are bound to see a correction and this time around everything is changed because of heavy investment from institutional investors and how long they will be pouring in money is a factor when we might see a correction and how much it will be maintained next year.
1311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 27, 2020, 09:36:25 PM
The match between India VS Australia is getting very exciting day by day. So far India is playing very well. Tomorrow is a very important day for both the teams. I think the team that plays well tomorrow will win.
India is already having a lead and the match depends upon how much runs they can score and how long they can frustrate the Australian bowlers. If Australia was able to grab the chances the India batsman offered they would have being in a much better position.

In the match between New Zealand and Pakistan, New Zealand scored 431 runs in their first innings. And Pakistan has already lost their first wicket by 30 runs.
New Zealand will dominate the match as most of the Pakistan batsman are struggling to make any meaningful partnership to help the team and until we some extraordinary batting New Zealand will win the match easily.

Sri Lanka scored 398 in their first innings, while South Africa is in great form. They lost only 4 wickets and able to scored 316 runs. Dean Elgar was out for 95 runs. His luck was bad so he could not score a century.
This is going to be a draw as i am not expecting any extraordinary performance from any bowlers from both the teams.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 27, 2020, 08:21:08 PM
If you have no idea about cricket, it is not right to bet. You bet on cricket, football, boxing and basketball. But I just bet on cricket and football. Because even if I understand other games, I can't predict them. I lack my skills in other sports. So I will never take such a risk. Although I'm trying to understand the game of basketball correctly. So I watch lots of basketball matches.
If you want to predict exactly you need to follow the team and follow how they are performing every week, in short unless you like the sport you cannot understand anything even if you know the rules.
I started learning about cricket because it looks similar to baseball and the competition level is only high among the top three teams in the international level while the rest of the teams are like fill ups  Grin.

They are running after Tether and the ticking time bomb can be listened at a distance. Only regulated stablecoins will be considered safe after USDT will be taken down.
The authorities will be imposing heavy fines on multiple markets and i am not aware of any regulated stable coins. USDT is trash and i am really surprised that they are still being traded in all the exchanges and majority consider them as a stable currency even though they are not transparent with their backings and this year we saw them minting new coins flooding the market and they will cease to exist in the near future as the authorities will shut them down.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 26, 2020, 11:59:17 PM
You are right. We can look at Zimbabwe and Pakistan as examples. The Zimbabwean team played great at one time. But now Afghanistan will easily lose them too. The Pakistan team was earlier compared to the first tier team. Now they have no glory like before.
You cannot compare the team as Zimbabwe lost their top players due to political reasons and Afghanistan has one of the best spinners in world cricket in Rashid Khan and he will easily fit into any team in the world because of his bowling skills and if a team has a player like that then they can win matches. I still believe that Pakistan has a formidable team in their home soil and we are yet to see a series due to security reasons for over a decade and once that is sorted out we could see them perform well in their own backyard.
1315  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 26, 2020, 11:38:40 PM
I wonder what levels bitcoin should reach so that the consensus that the author did a good job (took a chance -> chose the right decision -> won) was fully achieved?  Cheesy I think at about the level of 30k plus it is necessary to write to inform that the profit is fixed  Cool
OP already earned a profit of around $3k in a short period of time as the price already crossed $26.5k and it was the right decision looking at the price at the moment. He was confident about the price moving higher and he took his chance and paid off. I am not confident to enter at this valuation even though i am confident that the price would recover even if we have a correction.

Between Pakistan and NZ, at EOD NZ are 222/3 and Williamson is batting on 94. Taylor was fantastic but could not convert into century and was out at 70. AT one point they were 13/2 but then Taylor and Williamson partnership helped them to come out of that trouble.
This match is going well as expected even though they lost couple of early wickets, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor put on a 120 runs partnership and now Henry Nicholls is giving a good partnership and it will be a big challenge for Pakistan and i am expecting the match to be over within the final day.

In another test match between SL VS SA, SL batting first are going strong with 340/6. Chandimal was out at 85, De Silva is retired hurt on 79.
I was expecting South Africa to dominate the match and they even picked up early wickets but then they started to build partnership and they are now on a comfortable position

3 test matches starting on same day. Will be an exciting cricketing time ahead.
I made a parlay of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa winning the matches but only New Zealand is performing according to my expectation  Undecided.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin Ready for a Major Breakout? on: December 26, 2020, 05:56:12 PM
Yes,,, the long awaited altcoin season has not arrived even though Bitcoin has now been past the 2017 ATH for weeks,,, not a very good sign at all because even the big ETH is struggling to reach 50% of the ATH (1400+). But maybe it needs Bitcoin to go x2 at $50k before they all also go and take their time to run up the charts.
The top alt coins in the market all increased by 100% and some even more during the bitcoin rally in recent months and what sort of rally you are talking about. I am not too keen on the entire alt coin market but i am holding a few and all the top coins gained substantially even though they have not reached their ATH.
If the rally in bitcoin continues we will witness majority selling their alts and entering the bitcoin market as well.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sec vs Xripple and in the future vs BTC? Is it correct? on: December 25, 2020, 11:57:48 PM
yes, they were shut down by the SEC and ended badly for investors, and more, so this is the second time I've heard of a good project against the SEC,
if Ripple wins I'm sure they'll still be in the top 3, if lose, it's game over.
It was a surprise to see that the SEC came out with the verdict when the market was rallying and it is a warning sign to all the investors to the rest of the ICO markets as well and that will include ETH which is another major coin in the market as they also raised money without registering with the SEC and the market reacted badly to the situation and XRP had a major correction but within two days the market is recovering which is surprising.
Have to wait and watch how this will end.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 25, 2020, 02:18:48 PM
With Kohli out, 2 new test debutants its will be a massive pressure on team India. Another burden of lowest test score will be back of their mind and to come back strongly from the last test will be a real challenge for team. As far as result of the test match is concerned not expecting any change in that with OZ might lead with 2-0. Shane Warne has jumped in and commented that OZ will blow away India in this Boxing day test match. It would be interesting to see how India responds to it.
The pressure depends upon the dressing room atmosphere, Kohli was leading the team when they registered the lowest score in their history and with Kohli gone the team management will be under pressure including the coaching staff and the players having nothing to loose and they have a really young team apart from a couple of players and they should play freely than to absorb the pressure and under perform .

Regarding the Shane Warne comment, Australian always perform well for the boxing day match and this will not be any different and India needs to show that in their performance and according to many experts the chances are slim. Even the odds makers have given Australia as a heavy favorite.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any ideas on why XRPs price is fluctuating? on: December 24, 2020, 11:57:41 PM
I expect nothing from XRP and it was wrong of having this on the top 5 coins knowing that it can't have such potentiality in real.
If you are wondering why the market is going down in XRP it is because of the SEC as they said that it is not a cryptocurrency and the owners raised over $1.3 billion as unregistered offerings and it is not a good sign for them and with these the market started dropping while most of them thought that it will rally much further and if not for this citing by the SEC we might even see a much further rally. Things right now are not promising and hopefully everything holding the coin had the opportunity to book their profit.
