1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wired Magazine: Mine BTC in 2013 but... on: January 08, 2021, 11:21:14 PM
If they really did 'destroy' it, I wonder how much of an idiot they think of themselves right now. The author could have just created a backup for that wallet and just not told anyone that they didn't do it and reap the rewards later.
That is common sense for a market that is yet to explore the possibilities but the author was too cocky and wanted to make a statement to prove that his words were exact and he might have uninstalled the wallet and deleted the DAT file along with the password and looking back he will be regretting as he lost a fortune to make a statement  Cheesy.

In future this statement will be known as the million dollar statement  Cheesy.

they can bring Australia under pressure which could be great for them in this series because without Kohli no one was expecting things like this but now they are doing great without Kohli
Kohli might be cursing his decision to return to India Cheesy, If there are a few matches that goes against India's way when Kohli returns then there will be pressure from the selectors to replace him as a captain.

What an amazing comeback by team India. Looking at yesterday's end of day thought today whole day OZ will bat and end up making a huge score and might declare the innings. But blowers came back strongly and picked up quick wickets in middle order and this did not allow them to score big runs.
I saw a few dropped catches from Pant and most probably they took the catches that came and so is the reason they were able to fold the Australian batting line up than expected. Good to see Smith returning to form but the middle order is a big disappointment. Even India does not have a solid middle order but they are scoring runs when needed.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high do you see Ethereum going this market cycle? on: January 08, 2021, 06:10:15 PM
ETH has to break it's current ATH first before we can speculate that it will reach $4000 or $5000.. What will happen IMO is ETH will go crazy like what we are witnessing on bitcoin now, but the question is, will bitcoin continue to pump to affect ETH's run in a positive way?
If ETH reached $1500, then that might be the start of a big run and probably that time bitcoin is already trading at $50,000..
it's hard to predict at the moment, everything is bullish, it's unstoppable.
This is the first time the price of ETH has touched $1000 once again after the major correction and when the price went down around $45 i never expected the market to rally like this even though they were planning to upgrade the consensus to POS but the market is viewing this as the opportunity to make money and so is the reason you are seeing millions or billions being invested in the market taking the price over $1200 and i am expecting this rally could take the price over $2000 in the coming months.
1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: When The Inevitable Happens With The Dump - What Will Bitcoin Be Worth? on: January 08, 2021, 04:13:13 PM
I think it is going to happen very soon, the dump will be happening but what will happen when everything on CMC shows red? How far will Bitcoin fall?

After the crash I think it might settle around the $12,000-$13,000 mark before finding a way to work upwards again over a period of time.
The price might easily cross over $50,000 and i am expecting further rally before the market comes crashing down and i wont be surprised if it goes below $10,000 as the institutional investors who purchased in the past few months will be booking their profits and i am expecting the fall to be much bigger than we have seen historically.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Jan 30, 2021 on: January 08, 2021, 02:02:34 PM
Hopefully he will give a Whyte a chance to avenge his loss, if it will not happen this year then maybe next year. Povetkin maybe old but he proved to be a good fighter that should not be underestimated, a rematch makes good money, so maybe he can use that for his retirement.
If Povetkin needs a big money fight before his retirement he should fight Anthony Joshua, the first fight between them Whyte earned 4 million pound excluding the PPV revenue which is equally shared and Povetkin earned 3.5 million pound and it is a decent amount of money but considering the amount of money Anthony Joshua is able to make which is around $60 million in his rematch against Andy Ruiz and match up against him will be the perfect retirement Grin.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 08, 2021, 08:19:28 AM
I was expecting Australia to score above 350 runs with the way Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith was batting but one wicket just exposed the entire batting lineup as they lost the next 7 wickets and added 132 runs. Just three players scored above 50 runs shows their pathetic form and India had a good start but Australia was able to pick two wickets, tomorrow morning will determine how the match will go.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 07, 2021, 09:33:28 PM
Bhai I think you didn't get to watch the game live, pitch is almost flat. Batsmen were middling every ball except 5-6 balls in whole day and the way Marnus and Smith are batting, it wouldn't be surprise if one of them reach the 3 fiqure.
I hope Marnus Labuschagne could go on to score a century as he got starts in the series but was not able to capitalize and convert them into big innings and Steven Smith failed miserably in the first two matches and hopefully this will be a comeback performance as well and the occasional drop catches from the Indian fielders will help them as well Grin.
1268  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin drops to $15,000? on: January 07, 2021, 08:58:41 PM
Looking at the market right now it is impossible to predict that the market will go down below $15000 until there is a big correction and right now the market is around $38,417 and if we see a correction then all the big investors will dump all their investment and the fall could be bigger and if that happens it will take a much longer time to recover. $50k is inevitable looking at the current valuation before we see any major correction.
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the Bittrex Privacy Coin Delisting Means? on: January 07, 2021, 03:35:23 PM
I consider this as a start by the authorities to put their stamp on privacy and they wanted to have a complete control over our transactions and i am not surprised they are forcing these exchanges to delist them and it will continue in the coming years. The authorities will come up with claims that majority of the scams and hacks takes place using these privacy coins and they will create a narrative for the no coiners.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Jan 30, 2021 on: January 04, 2021, 10:23:17 PM
Maybe, but as a fan we love to see a toe to toe fight and Whyte needs to avenge his loss in the first fight.. who knows if Fans will be satisfied and Whyte wins this fight, a Trilogy might happen. This guy (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/569964) has a good KO percentage, he can win a KO in this one, but he needs to be careful not to make the same mistake.
I first noticed the name Dillian Whyte when he faced Anthony Joshua for the British Heavyweight belt and the promotion and hype was really entertaining and Joshua was able to knockout Whyte and after that fight he was able to win many fights until he faced Alexander Povetkin. I am expecting the same result like the first fight but Whyte have the knockout power, the question is who will be landing the knockout shot Grin.
1271  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - $500k Holiday Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 04, 2021, 09:13:22 PM
When stake really got big was the time it had sportsbook, I would suggest you to check it, they have nice odds as well. The great thing about stake is the fact that they listen to their customers, when the sportsbook first started I have to be honest it didn't look good, it looked quite horrible in fact, and it had a ton of bugs and glitches and troubles.
The addition of a sports book which everyone was waiting for years was a very good move but they were big enough with multiple games and huge rollers can be seen wagging all the time. Not sure what major changes they made with the sportsbook after the launch as i could not find much of a difference. I can understand the bugs and glitches when rolling out for the first time but is there any major change in UI?.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 04, 2021, 08:26:14 PM
^  No idea...  But on days when he isn't cutting weight, Adesanya walks around with a good 200 lbs in him.  That's prolly his normai weight so it shouldn't really be a problem for him to move up.
Adesanya started using the name of Jon Jones to get attention and he got that and till now he was teasing Jon Jones that he will move up and Jones was already calling him out for a long time and once Jones vacated the belt and announced that he will only fight again in the heavyweight division Adesanya decided to move up in weight  Cheesy.
1273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction has started? on: January 04, 2021, 04:31:36 PM
Bitcoin dumping so fast, it's very red now.
From $33k today, bitcoin has dump to $28k..
What's next for this, and what's the dip?  Love to hear your thoughts on what is happening now.
Everyone who missed out investing in the rally will be happy to see that the market is going down as they were deppressed to the core that they were not able to invest to ride the rally Cheesy. The price is around $31k and i am not sure in which exchange it went down to $28k. When the price was rallying you need to expect there will be a correction and hopefully it will not be a big one.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $1000 on: January 04, 2021, 12:13:49 PM
I believe Ethereum in the next two months will jump higher than the current price, that's my belief.
It is possible as the price just reached its all time high valuation after going down below $50 and it is possible it will venture to new highs considering how the bitcoin rally played out and it is possible that the price of bitcoin has reached its peak in this rally and now everyone is booking their profit and investing in alts.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 04, 2021, 12:36:47 AM
Below is the statistics of my wagering on one particular gambling site. It is hard to see this, because I've got lots of wins and very less losses. These small number of losses have eaten up all my winnings. Sad Sad
These are huge amount that are wagged, did you start wagging during the lock down. When the entire sporting events were halted i tried some of the games but i was not comfortable even though i won some surprising amounts and i consider that as fluke as i really did not understand what i was really doing. I ventured into virtual sports and Table Tennis even without watching the matches and what i noticed is that there are huge upsets and it looks like scripted matches  Cheesy.

I wagged around 100 ETH and around a million dogecoin during the pandemic and i lost a lot but overall the losses are not that huge.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 257 Main Event: McGregor vs. Poirier [Prediction and Discussion] on: January 03, 2021, 11:35:46 PM
Whenever he losses he usually comes up with an excuse but mostly those are not cringy as he usually takes a loss well and the only time i saw him respond foolishly was when he lost against Khabib  Grin.
The fight between Khabib and Conor was personal and Conor was silent after the fight and he usually calls for a rematch and Khabib was completely neglecting that and hence he started the cringe coming out with excuses as far as i remember.

Poirier was active for the past few years and he fought many great fights while Conor McGregor was away from the sport and Poirier have the experience and skills to take the fight till the championship rounds while Conor always struggle whenever he fails to finish the fight in the first two rounds.
Conor is away from the sport and not that active and with Khabib announcing his retirement he might see another opportunity to win the belt again so that he will be having a much bigger leverage. I am expecting a good fight and Poirier is a different fighter altogether but lets see whether Conor can play mind games just like he did in the first fight Cheesy.
1277  Economy / Economics / Re: China Economy Forecasted to Surpass US Economy by 2028 on: January 03, 2021, 10:28:46 PM
How is this centralized Digital Yuan any different than other online fiat payment modes such as PayPal? These central bank issued cryptocurrencies will be competing against other digital versions of fiat, and not with decentralized cryptocurrencies. And noting the fact that the Chinese Yuan is probably one of the most manipulated national currencies in the world, I pity on those who chose to hold it.
There is a major difference between a currency minted by the government and a payment processors like PayPal. The competition is to hold the valuation with other centralized currency and to attract the investors. It is really hard to attract investors even if a government comes out with a digital currency that can be purchased globally.

The forecast is according to the current data and we might see changes if there a radical economic reform from the US government rather than printing out trillions.
1278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: January 03, 2021, 09:43:23 PM
These people will always be at a loss, never finding the courage to go in themselves...quite arrogant, I think. BTC is at its ATH and while a correction is on the way the new low will never the one we've seen before. This trend will continue in years to come
It is hard to predict when we will see a correction, we have seen the influx of institutional investors dominating the market and the price has reached new heights which was unimaginable when i started and i have no idea when we might see a correction as i was expecting the correction long back and it never happened and it breached all the resistance with ease.

I am not investing at this point, i sold some of the alts i was holding and invested back in bitcoin and i will be booking that profit and then wait for the correction so that i could invest.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: January 03, 2021, 07:00:29 PM
I do not put my trust on any influencers. I only trust myself and advice from veterans who I have interacted with in the real life. Social media are full of scammers and ignorant who only work for their money. And words of their mouth are controlled by anyone who pays them money. Therefore, trust yourself. Dont let anyone manipulate your money.
During the ICO boom some of the projects were able to purchase many notable sports and other celebrities to promote their projects and that included scam projects and those celebrities got into trouble by the authorities for promoting them and it clearly shows that you could manipulate the market by attaching a celebrity for their promotion and everyone learned their lessons from their past mistakes.

Majority of the people invest in projects or new cryptocurrencies hoping that they could profit from it but the scams burned a lot of investors and still people are not learning their lesson.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 03, 2021, 03:38:13 PM
LOL.. it is going to be like pocket change for him. Floyd is the richest boxer out there, and somewhere I read that he earned $280 million just from his fight against Conor McGregor. And the fight against Manny Pacquiao in 2015 reportedly earned him around $180 million. Now this fight is going to give him at the most $10 minion and therefore we can't say that he is taking part just for the money.
A $10 million pocket change is not small either, can you pin point other boxers who is making that kind of money even if they are the main card, look at the recent Ryan Garcia and Luke Campbell fight purse, the guranteed purse for Ryan Garcia is just $500,000 and Luke Campbell earns $400,000 and that by being a main event professional bout and in the same regard Mayweather is able to earn much bigger purse than any of them with exhibition bout is amazing.
