2222  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: May 15, 2014, 06:21:27 PM
the first contract i bought in february is just about to break even.
come payday on sunday, my first contract will then be in profit.
 Grin

Me too! Cheers to reaching the break even point!

I'm about 100 days away from breaking even still. If you're new and like my app and/or are looking for a referral link -  http://pbmining.com?ref=VJain Smiley

App Update:
No news from Apple (no surprise there). Hoping they'll review within the next 7 days or so
I'll be pushing a new android update this weekend with the following features:
1. Current price of GH/s
2. Estimate next difficulty
3. (Possibly/Testing Phase) Is hashrate available at PBMining
4. Running of a faster server (DigitalOcean - love their $5/month droplets).
5. Some App Graphics (replacing Cordova defaults).

I'm fiddling around with Notifications, and hopefully that should be coming [eventually].

Hey, can you just put it on Cydia? I know it's a bit different, but can you do that?

I looked into this earlier, but couldn't find any up to date documentation. I don't have a personal iPhone, so I can't access the Cydia store. And I can't find a submission URL/Link either. If you can help me find some more [recent] information, I'll definitely go ahead and compile and submit.

Maybe you can try this?

For just the chilis with or without their cooling (obviously less without) I'd entertain offers in the .15 range. The PSU itself is probably worth about that much too. All depends on what part(s) you're after Smiley

What power connector do they use? Where are you located?

2227  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker stolen btc on: May 15, 2014, 05:23:49 PM
What OS are you using?
Have you sent any transactions in the past 24 hours before the "hack"?
What client are you using?
Do you have any antivirus or antimalware software installed?
2228  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LeaseRig.net Rent & Hire Scrypt(Jane/Nfactor)/SHA3/SHA256/X11 HashPower! on: May 15, 2014, 05:22:02 PM
Can someone link me to a guide/tutorial on how to provide my rig? 8MH/s on X11 that I'd like to rent out. Thanks!

Please search around before asking.

miaviator, Can you add something that says "Rig ratings are a new feature, so rigs with no rating does not mean it's bad."??

I've read all of those and found the instructions unclear. The LRP method seemed to be easiest, however:

1. Extract all files.
2. Open pools.conf and configure your starting pools.
3. Edit run.bat file - change PUT-YOUR-ID-HERE with ID you get on admin panel.
4. Double click run.bat to run it.

What does "ID you get on admin panel" refer to? What admin panel? Also, do I just start mining like this and my rig is automatically up for rent then or do I need to take any further steps on the website? What determines the price to rent it? What is a "starting pool"? Do I simply decide which pool to point my rig to and then rent out the profits/hashes to those pool by using the proxy? I'm just trying to clear up some questions that in my opinion haven't really been answered clearly (it will surely help attract more customers too). Thanks!

The LRP method is the easiest and worst (in my opinion).
Also, you clearly haven't read all of them.

Is Gridseed planning on making any other products?

yes. coming soon.

Can you give us some insider information?

The new GridSeed miners are the 75 Mh, I'll receive it in few days

This are just the A2 Terminators from Innosilicon ...

they work on something else ^^ :-)
and i hope they keep those easy voltmodable regulator chips Wink

Easy for you... Not for me, no idea how to solder -_-
Why not a cheap device with a "turbo boost", which is easily overclockable by simply changing its settings?
2233  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hi, would you recommend to overclock an avalon clone 200ghs to 1400?? on: May 15, 2014, 04:59:55 PM
Hi, would you recommend to overclock an avalon clone 200ghs to 1400??

If you mean to 1400GH/s, that is impossible.
If you mean 1400MHz, then yes, since that equates to 220GH/s.

Yes i mean to 1400MHz, but im afraid that i it could get burned or something.

No, you won't get burned, but the miner will produce more heat. Just don't place anything highly flammable near it, and don't go touching the heatsinks, or you will get burned.

With something trustworthy like PrimeDice it's basically a guaranteed $0.50 per constructive post. I don't encourage signature advertisements as they produce a lot of spam, but if you can make good contributions to the forum then you may want to consider it to help pay back the loan.

WHAT! I've been missing out!

Yeah, signature campaigns can pay a fair bit Smiley
But for a Full Member, won't give you much in pay, because of course, higher ranked members would get paid more.

It's 0.0006BTC/post for full members, which is 0.26 USD.
It's much more for Senior and Hero Members.
2236  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: any. thoughts on bit solo mining pool on: May 15, 2014, 04:55:03 PM
I went through bitsolo.net FAQ. They say they have found ZERO Bitcoin blocks until now.
They're merge-mining Namecoin and have found ONE Namecoin block.
it also says they are keeping the namcoins for pool fees.

What's wrong with that? Don't see any problem at all.
2237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 15, 2014, 07:26:02 AM
I might switch back once I receive my first payout from clever mining as I dont see too much difference in that and coinshift. But with coinshift (being a low end miner) I get paid everyday (balance when it reaches 0.001) so I have my coins with me instead of waiting for myself to reach 0.01 I can use the coins now.

That's actually a good point. It's a nice feature, but Terk has tons of stuff to do, even vardiff isn't back up yet, lol.

So back to square one how do we know the coin was still profitable when it was actually exchanged. Clevermining considers its profits for unexchanged coins only not when they were actually exchanged.

Because you mined it at a low difficulty, and even if the price dropped a bit when you exchange it, it's still more profitable than others?
2238  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] User: WonFreeBitcoin on: May 15, 2014, 07:23:20 AM
I don't want to sound like a dick, but why the hell were you trading with him? His trust rating is in the shit. I'd almost say you deserved to have your money taken.

This man speaks truth. Default trust is fucked but you should immediately ignore niggas with big red negative trust.

He did not have that negative trust when I traded, and also, I didn't see his previous attempts to scam in his previous posts.
And even if he was trying to scam me, I thought I could change the login info anyway, and I did, but then PBMining said it was their mistake -_-
2239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 15, 2014, 07:22:02 AM
Also, coins are profitable mostly due to a drop in difficulty, not a spike in price.

Yes but since when difficulty drops for a particular coin everyone runs to mine it, multi-pools first... and they dump it as soon as it is mined... guess what happens to its price.

Yes, and other multipools also have to wait for the coins to mature too.

well I do believe that price should be factored in. I mean if you mine a million doges in like say an 1hr due to low difficulty but the btc price of it is only .003 and at the same time ltc price in btc is like 0.2 it doesn't make sense in mining doges at that time. Thats just my opinion I maybe wrong but price must have been factored in or else this formula becomes useless. Why not just mine a dieing coin it will have the lowest difficulty and claim that you made alot of money even though you cant exchange it...

Of course price is also factored in... That's part of what "profitability" means, you know.
2240  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 15, 2014, 07:20:37 AM
Your PrimeDice advertisement must be on the first line of your signature!

You may not advertise any other sites/threads. This includes non-paid for advertisements. You may include other non advertising related. This is limited to a quote or your Bitcoin address etc. If you do choose to add this it must be very small font, uncolored with no effects

You check this in Post 1 and decide what you done I think if you do this without any color then its better

Hmmm... I'm gonna PM Stunna. Dunno if it's OK.

May I know what is the meaning of this ANXBTC thing in your sig ?

I believe it is a bitcoin exchange based in Hong Kong. https://anxbtc.com/

Ok ...so this AnxBTC also pays for sig ? I did not notice any of their thread recently in the forum !!!

First, It's not a link, and second, they don't pay for sig, I am employed by them and I am just putting my title in my sig.
I'm sorting it out with Stunna right now, he's telling me to remove by BTC address too.... -_-
