Yes but they also had some promising players that ended up being flops like Kishna, El Ghazi, Zivkovic, Viktor Fischer, Bazoer.
That is why I have said that Barca is on a risky position here. As of now we don't know if de Jong will live up to what Barca have paid for him. Eredivisie is not as competitive as other European leagues out there and we don't know if de Jong will successfully translate his level of play in La Liga. The good thing is he is still young and has a lot of time to develop in the league. Another thing about young players is they still retain some of his value even if they reached the ages 24-25 so Barca still has a lot of time to see if Frenkie de Jong is the right fit for the team.
2222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 23, 2019, 08:28:46 PM
According to some spanish sites, the fee could go up to 86 million with some add-ons.

Is De Jong the new Xavi or Iniesta? is he really that good? It seems a bit a weird that Barcelona would pay almost 90m for a player that has less than 50 appearances with Ajax. Also, don't they have a bunch of midfielders already? Busquest, Rakitic, Vidal, Coutinho, Arthur, Aleñá, Puig, Sergi Roberto...it's good to have some options but damn...

Sometimes Barca tend to overpay a team when it comes to transfers of players as even if they don't end up liking him they can sell it to another team without any kind of loss. Frankie De Jong is not a player to skip with as remember Ajax is known from its youth academy in Netherlands and has produce a lot of wonder kinds in the past like Christian Eriksen, Zlatan Ibrahimović, and more recently Davinson Sánchez the problem is all the players I have mentioned have been sold way lower than what Barcelona is paying for so I think their scouts are seeing something we are not.
2223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to contact bitcoin support ? on: January 23, 2019, 07:17:33 PM
same think i am search on google for contact bitcoin support i got a toll free  number 18446310111, i talked them and they told me that there are no directly support for bitcoin
You are very lucky that the number you have called isn't one of those hotlines belonging to scammers because I am sure that numbers like these claiming to be a support hotline for the Bitcoin team is false. Next time you have a concern on your wallet or any other concerns about crypto the best thing you can do is to search it directly in the internet, if you aren't satisfied with the answer or you haven't found the right one you can always ask this forum on the right section.
2224  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Backscratchers: who scratched who's back the most? on: January 23, 2019, 06:20:04 PM
If they are involve in a bigger circle of backscratchers isn't it more easier to track as you will see that there is some kind of commonality when it comes to the names showing off in their merit history? Of course they won't show up in the top of the list as you are right on them being in a bigger circle but I think it's possible for all of their names to show up at some point, I mean 5-25 merits sent by each of them is very achievable for backscratchers who started with a big airdrop of merits.

Sure, and if people can find new artists on Soundcloud, then artists who get alot of plays can use their Soundcloud page to promote short clips of tracks they think audiences will like. Then they can take 100% profit by using file sharing networks to distribute the full length track/film.

But then again can you name me one content producer that is independent who became rich by now? Even Techn9ne or Macklemore who has been independent on their own for a long time needs the support of labels to get their tracks on the radio. Even content creators in blogs and Youtube has sponsors and other help to support them. You cannot really think that they can be rich on their own.

the artist itself cannot do it independently that is why we have producers, publishers, labels and studios to help them for a fee.
Yes they can, artists don't need publishers, labels or studios, they can do it all themselves. The only thing they couldn't do before was accept money over the internet. They can now.
They cannot limit themselves on a file sharing site to earn for a living (or at least be satisfied with it). Why limit themselves on the internet for money? Most artists right now are dying just to get their songs heard on the local radio. I mean they cannot be satisfied by just number of downloads to earn money. And if they do want to earn that way the only way to do that is to boost their fan base which can only happen if they are doing music tours or concerts all around the world which they cannot do alone.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-01-05] BitTorrent Is Launching Its Own Cryptocurrency on the Tron Network on: January 22, 2019, 03:08:33 PM
Remember when you said this:

I won't care if their project only involved sharing files of their original work

What's wrong with content producers charging people to download their stuff directly from a file sharing network?
Hey as long as they are selling their original work in the file sharing website I don't care about it, but if you are starting out do you really want to go on a paid only file sharing website? As a content producer will you limit your viewers to people who are willing to pay you even if they don't know you? Of course not, some artists right now are discovered in soundcloud or youtube as these websites don't restrict their viewers/listeners to only the ones paying them.

I'll tell you what's right with it:

  • No more distributors to pay (i.e. itunes or spotify)
  • No more labels (so no more exploitative contracts)
  • No more publishing fees (because no more copyright)
  • No more lawyers to pay (because no labels or publishing)
  • Keep 100% of the profits (instead of between 5% and 0%)

File sharing networks are never going to get shut down, it's not possible, it's been tried and it's failed. The secret is stop trying to pretend there are multiple copies to sell, because there is only one copy. Once you've sold just 1 copy, then everyone in effect has it. Or people could try to continue to fight reality.
I know file sharing networks won't shutdown that is why the industry is trying to battle it we won't even have services like Itunes or Spotify on Music and Netflix or Hulu in Movies if we don't have piracy. Itunes selling newly release albums for 1$ for the whole album, Netflix offering their movie range for around 11$-16$ a month, they even release movies who have been shown recently in cinemas just a month a part. Just so you know being in the entertainment industry is hard and the artist itself cannot do it independently that is why we have producers, publishers, labels and studios to help them for a fee.

It's frustrating, because the way you're thinking about it, you're almost there. What's the difference between people using bittorrent and cryptocurrencies to distribute their own work (with other people doing the same to help keep the distribution going), and getting paid for copyright piracy? Not much, when you think about it
For one thing they are actually encouraging people to do piracy (if it is their intent to pay pirated media, files) people who upload files in torrent websites don't even get money except from their donations but if they do this they are actually guaranteeing them to be earning something from the files they are sharing whether or not it is illegal. At some point if things got worst we might even see the the film and music industry to stop producing new work or even increase in prices just to battle the piracy happening.

Just like what I have mentioned above the backlash from the government that they will have will be big and maybe we will see torrent downloaders being shut down as well not only torrent P2P websites.
2228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-01-05] BitTorrent Is Launching Its Own Cryptocurrency on the Tron Network on: January 22, 2019, 11:13:16 AM
So they have taken piracy to the next level? I would suspect if they did that they would have some problems with the government and of course the Tron network would also be part of it. I won't care if their project only involved sharing files of their original work but if they are only sharing pirated copies of movies, music, and even programs then it would be an abuse and clearly a violation of piracy laws, their uploaders would earning money from the works of others.

But this project if done legally will be a great one. One thing I would like to see with the system is that seeders of files would also be earning the token, this would be beneficial either way as they are making the fast download possible.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 21, 2019, 07:16:06 PM
Honestly I don't think its Adrien Broner's fault that he believes he won the fight and that he got robbed in the ring, I watched the replay and most of the rounds his corner will make him believe that he won that round, there was even a round that Broner begins to ask his coaches if he won that round and his coaches would just say "yes absolutely" without any hesitation after that they would just tell him to continue what he is doing. They made him believe that what he is doing is enough to snatch the UD win he was hoping for. The hood today was really not impressed on his representation for them, Worldstar Hip Hop even posted this :

2230  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Suspicious "EXTEREUM" ICO - Be aware before invest on: January 21, 2019, 06:05:12 PM
Extereum is still live and has gathered up a lot of people to be scammed in the future. Their Twitter accounts has been suspended but their Telegram group has around 23,000+ members with 220+ online. Their ETH address is still active and receiving in going transactions for their selfdrop reward. Also out of 4 of their teams' social media account only one still only is existing (Angelina Nicole) which is not active anymore, also even their CEO's twitter account is suspended, so I do think they are covering their tracks by now.

2231  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Red flags on Ethereumnano ICO on: January 20, 2019, 06:36:19 PM
Ethereumnano ICO's has failed to reach their target funding based on their Smart Contract Address. Crowdsale has been cancelled so even though it has two transactions all of them happened 129 days ago. I focused on using their address on their Flash sale.

Crowdsale cancelled

Flash Sale transaction

Their transaction/s only happened last 129 days ago even though their last day for the flash sale was December 15 which means that they haven't tricked people as they expected to be. All of their social media outlets as well as their medium webpage are all inactive.
2232  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful from ponzi scheme "ETHONLINE" on: January 20, 2019, 06:16:42 PM
It looks like that the Ponzi scheme is still active and is paying. I have trouble getting into their website in my desktop browsers so I tried it with my mobile phone and it went through.

Look through some of the tx ids of the payouts and all that I have seen are legit and confirmed transactions so this just shows that the website is still paying.

To all readers of this post I am not encouraging you to invest, this is an HYIP like site with no proper business they are just paying you out with the money from the new members. By that time they run out of members joining in you won't be getting anymore payments. Stay away from this ponzi scheme.

2234  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam - Acommax ICO - Fake team & ponzi scheme on: January 20, 2019, 04:53:53 PM
It looks like Acommax is not active anymore and has failed to provide payments for their victims and it didn't reached the target funds to be raised.

All of their social media outlets are not active anymore their last post was around 3-4 months ago.

Their reddit page have no active members and their last post was made 4 months ago.

It also seems like I am having trouble entering their telegram group but their invite link is still active.

It looks like Nettekcoin is still Live based on their announcement in their website that they are still launching their ICO.

It seems like they have listened to your scam accusation as they also updated some of their team's profile with some pictures while they have remove other members part of the team (maybe they didn't have much time to create fake identities).

You should take note that the Harrison Lambert before in their team as CEO became Josh H. Lambert now.

They have also changed parts of their whitepaper that you pointed out as plagiarized and changed it. It seems like they have focused on changing things which was brought up from their scam accusation in order to avoid much damage for their scam.

Before

After

Even though they have paraphrased the original text it is still counted as a plagiarized text, they have just changed some words and sentence structure but the plagiarized content is still there.
Posted this on Nettekcoin's scam accusation thread, it looks like they are still live in terms of having a ICO pre-sale but I don't see them active anymore in the forum. The last post made by the user name nttkcoin was made in January 4. Their Telegram group though is still very active with 7,300+ members while have 160+ online members consistently.

Anyone seen this news?

https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/sports/01/18/19/labang-pacquiao-vs-broner-sa-las-vegas-di-pa-sold-out

The report says that the tickets hasn't sold out as compare to Pacman's previous fight. Is this the sign that boxing fans is not interested or Pacman drawing power is dwindling?
Well the last bout of Pacquiao happened in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and compared to the United States they don't have these kinds of big fights often being offered in their country that is why it is sold out, even his last fight against Jeff Horn is sold out because it happened in Australia. But its a different situation in the United States as they always have bigger names filling in their schedules. Not unless the aging legend is facing names like Terrence Crawford or Mikey Garcia expect that fights like this won't get as much hype as a lot of people are hoping for.

Stock photos were used , bought under a licence.

ICO will contiune. End of talk.
Using stock images is not a crime, and it is absolutely legal to use aliases and stock images.
As many other do and have done in the past.
The campaign manager already admitted that they are using fake identities in their team which is really a big red flag. So please avoid this SCAM as no person/s running a real exchange would hide their identity to the public, you won't see any of the big exchanges hiding the true identity of their CEO all of them are brave to show their names on their website and their interviews. This is really just a scam hoping to victimize a lot of people, DON'T BE ONE OF THEM!!!!!

What are you talking about? Yes having your own Pen Names are legal if you are righting a book or being a celebrity but you are setting up your own exchange which requires to be permitted legally. All your identity must be disclosed in public. The only reason you are hiding your true identity is because you will be running away from them after you steal all their money.
2240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman booked for UFC 235 on: January 18, 2019, 01:26:50 AM
There are other interesting fights in UFC 235 too aside from teh main event like the co-main event Robbie Lawler vs Ben Askren. Bantamweight Division Cody Garbrandt vs Pedro Munhoz. Weterweight Diego Sanchez vs Mickey Gall and in the Women Bantamweight Holly Holm vs Aspen Ladd. This is a good vhance for Robbie Lawler to redeem himself after last loss to Dos Anjos.
Totally agreeing with you in this one. It took UFC several months just for Ben "Funky" Askren have a fight in the octagon after the trade and he is lucky he landed a match against Robbie Lawler which is a deserving welcome for Askren. But I am telling your right now I don't like the chances of Lawler winning the match as Ben Askren has proven himself undefeatable in the ONE FC ring and he totally outmatch anyone in all skill set so I don't think we will be seeing Lawler win this one.
