2241  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wrong tx number and balance for imported address on: November 14, 2022, 09:37:21 PM
Hi nc50lc, thanks for the clarification.
So, it's not Electrum which can't handle the many transactions, but it's the servers which aren't willing to provide a history that long, correct?
But still, I would have expected that Electrum let's the user know that there is a problem and, therefore, the shown values can't be trusted. Instead, as shown in the screenshot of my last post, everything seems to be fine from the GUI user's perspective (green ball in the lower right corner and no error message).

How about the transaction history tab do you see any transaction there?
If no then there maybe something that electrum is blocked syncing to any server.
I suggest try to switch to other server by clicking the green circle or change your device DNS to Google/Cloudflare DNS.

There are lots of crypto portfolio trackers right now just give sometimes to search on PlayStore. If you are lazy then you can use the other suggestion above but I'm currently using these trackers below for free.

- Coingecko app - it needs to register but it's free and most of the coins are listed there.
- CryptoMarketcap - using this for a long time for free and I like their widget.

Other tracker that you can check.

- Crypto Tracker Coin stats

2243  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining at home on: November 13, 2022, 11:21:35 PM
I don´t want to spend a lot of money, something until 1k will be enough for me. However, I will think about it.

Can someone send me a tutorial (if there is any available) about a cheap mining equipment and how to set up the equipment?

If your purpose is for studying bitcoin mining and you don't want to spend much then go for Compact F USB miner the price of this miner I think is around 100-150$ in Amazon it's pretty cheap and you can find the guide below.

2244  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: November 13, 2022, 10:59:53 PM
I actually solved this issue with an external 12v fan controller. As soon as the PSU gets power the fans will spin at my chosen rate. If the miner gets to the „hot“ temperature set by me it will simply turn of instantly.

What OS do you currently using? Is it still Braiins or stock firmware?

Because if you revert to stock firmware without bypassing the fan check you will always get some error and the miner will not work properly. If Braiins then it still has an error fan so you still need to bypass or disable the fan check.
2245  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you use this Twitter service? on: November 13, 2022, 03:04:13 PM
It's more likely the same as steemit a social media Dapp getting paid through posting, replying, voting, etc...

But I don't use such a thing. I heard that there is a group that can manipulate steemit just to earn a few cents.

Are you planning to create a new coin/token, and is this your strategy to distribute coins/tokens?

I don't know for other users if they are going to use it, but I believe there are a few people who will use that service/platform if it's worth their time.

Have you tried to use the magnifying glass above? To search about the guide how to setup this unit?

If not then I found few of them that you can try.

This one below is the simple setup guide.

Then other guide below using raspi or different OS

Lets see which one will work. The last link is the newest setup that I found.

2247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here is my take on FTX case on: November 11, 2022, 11:58:55 PM
I think if the price of Bitcoin and Crypto drop a lot due to this news, maybe yes, they can solve the issue. Because I believe this is an inside job and they want to make profit(almost all companies want to profit).

And honestly, they already made a profit by just creating their tokens and selling them. And look why they didn't hire a professional security expert. How defenseless their website is? If they hire security experts, then it's impossible if they monitor their business 24/7, it won't happen unless if there is someone inside of the company wants to do it for the sake of profit.
2248  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ANTMINER S9 MESSAGE LOW HASHRATE CHIP on: November 11, 2022, 11:33:54 PM
i have 1800w power supply and set the OC to 1140w, i don't think the problem is due to that.

If it's not a PSU, it's a program since you use hiveos with autotune config.

Look at the error carefully; the hiveos is fixing it automatically for you don't need to do anything, but if you don't want to see the error, then manually set the frequency under chips config.
2249  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: how to open 10000 wallet on: November 11, 2022, 12:17:17 AM
If it's 10k wallets and all of them have different seed backups, but each of them only has a single used address, then only extract used addresses on each wallet, but the problem is I can't seem to find a tool yet to extract all of those used addresses.

Maybe some tools from iancoleman.io can help you, or use their BIP39 tool and open it in 20 tabs and paste your seed phrase into each tab and take private keys then back up.
It takes time before you get all the used addresses and then import all keys on a single wallet. Take note, always use iancoleman offline for safety, which only works on BIP39 seed. If your seed backups are generated from Electrum then this won't work.

Also, take note of the fake iancoleman tool just recently found a fake one in Google ads this is the domain iancolemanbip39.info.
Be careful of that fake one.
2250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop justify stealing exchangers Are responseble on: November 10, 2022, 11:46:56 PM
Are you talking about the FTX issue? I don't see someone here who defends them.
Why not let the authority do their work about the FTX issue?

That is why we don't recommend using a centralized exchange to hold your Coins/Tokens because no perfect business can protect our assets. Always make sure you have full control of your wallet to avoid the same issue happening in the past on some exchanges before it is more likely an inside job. Never trust your wallet to anyone and only trade that you can afford to lose or use P2P exchange.
2251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to protect your bitcoin in a real estate transaction? on: November 10, 2022, 11:14:00 PM
Based on what I understand, you sold a property and received the payment through Bitcoin, which means the one who sent you knows that you own BTC.

The only best suggestion here is to use a mixer if you want to cut the traces.
Take note that multisig transaction fees are slightly higher than a standard wallet.

Or simply, if you want to protect your Bitcoin from someone who sends you, then why not send it to exchange and withdraw it in your new bitcoin address or wallet? Or trade your bitcoin to any privacy coin like XMR?
2252  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S19J Pro - To buy or not to buy ? on: November 10, 2022, 10:53:10 PM
There are two types of s19j pro that bitmain released I heard many complaints about flashing this unit with the wrong firmware.

The two types that I mean are the BB board and the zynq 7007 board.

Sample this issue s19j PRO won't fully boot after firmware update."

So make sure to check the control board to use the correct firmware before you flash it.

And don't flash the unit if the miner is working fine; only flash the unit if the unit has some software issue.
2253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S19J Pro - To buy or not to buy ? on: November 10, 2022, 09:34:29 PM
We already have some guide here for newbie you just need a little bit of research to find them. Anyway, check this link "First time/Small miner reference for getting started."

About s19j I don't know if this unit is problematic but take note of flashing it because there are two types of control board on this unit.
2254  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HELP PLEASE -Lost ALL my miners after internet outage? on: November 10, 2022, 04:36:10 PM

I can't find/see a way to remove Brains?

So you mean the SD card flashing with stock firmware from Bitmain can't able to replace your current firmware? Or you might just did the wrong way?

If the SD card do not work then try the guide from Braiins documentation. Here check this link below

- FLASHING A FACTORY FIRMWARE
2255  Other / Off-topic / Re: BIG idea how to make BIG money 1500000 on: November 09, 2022, 11:58:07 PM
How are you sure that it can make you money?

It is more likely you are begging for a $30 donation, and since you are a newbie, how can we trust you? This is more likely a scam.

This offer is pretty risky and actually, crypto doesn't need new coins or token. All people needs is already on other coins/token.
2256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pls guide me to the right tool for this on: November 09, 2022, 11:16:37 PM
I guess this is all about ETH network sending coin/token to multiple addresses.

Becareful on using closed source tool cointool.app is a good suggestion above but this one below is better than that.

It was share here long time ago and until now many users here use it.
2257  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Should I take this BTC mining advice? on: November 09, 2022, 05:39:23 PM
I think your friend experience the same thing happening to me in installing and having full node and setting it up to mine solo. It's very stressful on the first time you set up the full node in the end your hard drive is full you didn't't think that the full nodes need to download the whole block chain to be fully functional and to mine solo. So in the end setting up your miner directly to the pool is much easier than having your own node.

I guess your friend only mine for lottery so the best miner for solo mining currently is Compact F USB stick miner or for a little bit faster Futurebit Apollo take note of this one it has built-in full node.
2258  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Pool mining view outgoing mining status on: November 09, 2022, 04:55:40 PM
I don't think you can monitor them by observing traffic.

What do you want to achieve?

Why not check it through the pool or access the miner's IP and go check the miner's status?

Or you want to access your miner through API calls?
I can't figure out what exactly your miner is but Bitmain units have API calls that you can use like requesting a summary of miner status.
2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canadian Bitcoin taxes on: November 08, 2022, 11:59:29 PM
Based on Canada.ca if you buy crypto it would consider as capital gains or income so it means you need to pay for the taxes.

Why not read the link below how is it work and to guide how to pay taxes in Canada below.

2260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I talked with very smart person he told me about crypto people need to know on: November 08, 2022, 11:23:25 PM
That's why binance always will reinburse losses in crypto.

I wait when binance will start refund atleast some money If i lose on futures trading or paying money for most Active future traders.
You're delusional if you actually think they'll refund losses that you're 100% responsible of.

I think he talks about this "Reimbursement for Binance Futures ETH/USDT System Issue & Liquidation." the refund is only for users who are affected by this issue. It seems he didn't know that thing yet.

@Fullbear2222 be careful on future trading it's very risky if you lose in futures there is no reimbursements they only refund affected users according to the link above is due to a system issue. So it means you are not one of them. And Binance already solved this issue a long time ago.
