1321  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any exchanges that are sweeping unconfirmed funds with CPFP?? on: June 02, 2023, 11:10:09 PM
Never seen any exchanges yet that they shoulder stuck transactions while depositing on their exchange. They only make transactions once you already trade your deposit coins from their exchange and before you can trade the deposit amount it requires 1 to 3 confirmations before you can trade the deposit amount.

Can you tell us what exchange you use where they transfer and do CPFP from your deposit address to their own wallet?
I usually see all my exchange deposit address it only transfer once you already use it to any of their services.

1322  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What pool to use or what to mine with an S3? on: June 02, 2023, 02:42:07 PM
Does anyone know of any custom firmware for this device?

I never heard that there is a custom firmware for this unit I also tried to search but I can't find any.

If your purpose in finding custom firmware is to overclock this unit you can try the procedure here below

About the pool where you mine you are mining on Solo pool meaning you are the only one who mining if you are lucky and found a block it would take years to solve the block with your current hashrate.

Another thing is that if you switch to another pool with a fixed payment then you will get a negative profit due to electricity unless you have a free power source.
1323  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: s19 86th 1 hashboard not working on: June 01, 2023, 10:40:05 PM
I think it would be better if you try to flash the unit first because sometimes this kind of issue can be fixed by flashing or updating it to the latest firmware or try SD card flashing.

If it didn't work then we are sure that is a hardware issue based on your logs the 3rd hashboard only detects a few ASIC chips so if you want to continue mining you need to remove the 3rd hashboard.

Or like other newbies did to fix this kind of issue without the BGA hot-air tool they put this broken hashboard into the oven for 15 minutes.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trezor Suite Lite mobile app on: June 01, 2023, 12:21:07 AM
There is no problem to use xPub to import it to Trezor Suite Lite about security risks since it's a public key your wallet is still secured but sharing xPub have privacy risk because they can monitor all of your wallet addresses and transactions.

If you are planning to make some transactions with Trezor Suite Lite on mobile make sure that your phone is not compromised because there is a possibility if there is someone can monitor and control your phone without your consent they can make a transaction while your Trezor connected on the same device. However, since their lite version for mobile is only made for monitoring your wallet only use it to monitor your wallet addresses and transactions.

And take note this app is new and currently does not have open-source yet so we do not know how safe the app is.
1325  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S19 Troubleshooting on: May 31, 2023, 11:44:41 PM
Thank you so much for the advice. Was about to post the log, but decided to update the firmware once more and, after a restart or two, the thing is running like a champ again. Wish I'd tried that earlier.

That's a weird issue without the kernel logs it's like we're guessing what's wrong with your unit but if flashing it solves your case then that's fine. Sometimes unsuccessful flashing may cause some issues I always try 2 to 3 times flashing them before deciding if it's a hardware issue.

What firmware did you flash it again the latest one?
Why not try their TF card firmware?
1326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 8 websites to check bitcoin address and transaction statuses on: May 31, 2023, 11:36:57 PM
Take note that blockchain.info is already switched to blockchain.com a long time ago and oxt.me is pretty new to me never hear of this before so it's not popular and accessing that site is pretty slow compared to other blockchain explorers you mention above.

It seems you forgot other popular blockchain explorers listed on Bitcoin wiki from this link below this would be a good source that includes a lightning explorer

1327  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I've lost $10 when depositing to OKX (formerly OKEx) on: May 31, 2023, 11:14:32 PM
Some exchanges have their own minimum deposit the bad thing you did was you didn't see the minimum deposit before you send it.

Have you tried to contact them and ask to a refund or send your funds back to the wallet of yours minus the transaction fee? But the problem is the network is pretty congested and the amount you deposit might not be enough to cover fees.

Why not try to ask them what should you do to credit them to your account?
Maybe they let you send another transaction higher than the minimum and then they will also credit the previous transaction? Try to ask support because I have had some problems before on that exchange that were always resolved.
1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best open source hardware wallets for BTC? on: May 31, 2023, 04:42:44 PM
That's the bad part of using Ledger Nano they don't have open-source code for their hardware wallets and we do not know what's behind the program of their device.

Why not use Trezor instead which is open-source I do not know if it's the best one but Trezor is already a popular wallet that supports multiple cryptocurrencies.

Or if you just want to store Bitcoin only then a Cold card might be optional.
1329  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha on Handheld Device on: May 31, 2023, 04:20:34 PM
Same here when logging in on the PC when clicking the captcha it will confirm right away or it will mark with a check but on my mobile when using a VPN it always asks to captcha even if I did correctly choose images on the captcha it only changes 5 times until it marks as check.

You don't need to worry about the captcha if you don't want this annoying captcha then use the link provided by PX-Z its a unique URL where you can log in without a captcha. But be careful do not share this with anyone because it can use to brute-force your account.

Why not enable always stay login so that you don't need to keep entering your username and password when you want to visit the forum?
1330  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S19 Troubleshooting on: May 31, 2023, 01:32:06 PM
If one of the fans is running faster than the other fans I guess that one of your fans is not giving the right signal or it is not plugged properly or maybe the blue wire(Signal for PWM) has no connection because if it doesn't have a connection the fan will run at full speed.

What I would like you to try before replacing it with a new one as suggested above try to unplug it and clean the terminals and connectors and plug it back properly then test it again.

If it didn't work if you have a multimeter check the blue wire resistance if it still has continuity if it doesn't have continuity then possible it may have cut connection inside you may need to replace that wire or the whole fan.
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is always affected by world market news, why ??? on: May 30, 2023, 11:18:23 PM
That's normal it is just likely the same on Forex, good news or FUD still has a  significant impact on the market that is why we have fundamental analysis to determine the trend and set a stop-loss early if there is some bad news related to Crypto. Technical analysis is not enough to decide to buy or sell you need to combine both of these techniques to get a perfect analysis for the next price movement.
1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Best wallet for Android? on: May 30, 2023, 11:02:43 PM
I completely agree with you.  and even if the topic is about the best wallet for bitcoin, I also would not argue that Nunchuk is the optimal and best wallet.

Honestly never heard and use Nunchuk Wallet before and I check their domain it was created in 2020 which is pretty new compared to Electrum Wallet which is already proven safe and has actively developing and updates for many years.

Why would I switch to another wallet if I already got the security features we need on Electrum?
The only bad thing that Nunchuk developers did is that they added Cloud service for making a backup of our wallet which is very bad on the future it may compromise our wallet and steal our funds if someone has access to their cloud server.
1333  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: why was Bitcoin written in C++? on: May 30, 2023, 10:35:21 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto never explains why he chose to use C++ language more than others even on his whitepaper he didn't mention it but you can build blockchain in any language.

However, I think he chose C++ due to the speed and efficiency compared to other languages like Python and it was known that can handle big data.
1334  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Canaan + silent fans? on: May 30, 2023, 08:59:29 PM
What are your current API logs? Would you mind posting it here?

Possible fans are the cause of your problem and it might be a compatibility issue based on a bit of research about that fan the max amps of Phanteks t30 is 0.36A which is pretty low compared to stock fans.

Why not try to put the stock fans again to test?

About custom software/firmware for this unit, I never heard of any custom firmware for this unit.
1335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC RPC Explorer authentication on: May 30, 2023, 12:24:23 AM
~snip~
So the error came from the browser what is your current local IP would you mind to try accessing it to 192.168.1.1:3002 only if 192.168.1.1 is your local IP.

I'm not expert on MacOS but if the result still the same check this guide below who also use MacOS to run RPC explorer.

Based on the video you might need to edit credentials.js and put the right rpc user and password.
1336  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitcoin R909 Kano version on: May 30, 2023, 12:00:32 AM
What do you want to achieve why you would like to edit nonce range?
I'm not expert on this unit but have you check the guide from kano.is check the link below under chip frequencies it talks about nonce.

So I think you are trying to overclock the unit? Try the config from this post below

1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC RPC Explorer authentication on: May 29, 2023, 01:30:56 PM
My node is fully synced.  I mentioned that in the post (I tried to make sure I gave all the details)

Would you mind to try to change BTCEXP_HOST=127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0
Since you are running it on the same device you might have an IP conflict and also it is the default config according to their GitHub guide.
And also do you have NodeJS installed?

Would you mind to share your logs from BTC RPC Explorer or enable debug log to troubleshoot the issue?
1338  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Happyminer real? on: May 29, 2023, 12:50:05 PM
This is a cloud mining site and almost 99% of cloud mining sites are scams.
If I were you better stay away from accessing this site and maybe there are some scripts on that site that can take some data from you and look no one mentioned this website before.

Even if the domain was old there is no guarantee that you can make money investing in them and you are likely promoting it? I suggest remove the link above because if you didn't it will help to have backlinks here and rank up on the SERP.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC RPC Explorer authentication on: May 28, 2023, 11:33:12 PM
Take note of BTC RPC explorer it would not work if your Bitcoin core is not fully synced because it requires txindex it is currently supported only on a full node or non-pruned node.

So start to let your Bitcoin core sync first until it downloads the entire blockchain before you can use BTC RPC explorer.
1340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC transaction confirmed but the amount havent changed on: May 28, 2023, 11:09:27 PM
This is a common issue with trust wallet since 2019 and I don't see someone solving this case.
Have you ever tried to switch the internet from mobile to wifi or vice-versa? How about VPN?
What I think is maybe the trust wallet is blocked by your ISP which is why it is not loading or showing the correct balance. Using VPN should fix this issue.

If not then switching to other wallet is the right thing to do as suggested above.
