Ugandan Shilling (local currency) According to his Twitter account he is developing a project related to Africa.

Currently based on their Github they only have UGX(Ugandan Shilling) its a fiat value or total value of your Bitcoin in UGX. Its their local currency from bank of Uganda. They don't have other fiat yet like USD, CAD, EUR or any major currency.

So I think this wallet was developed only for people who living on east africa.

I don't see any issue it looks like fine would you mind to set the miner to low power mode.

Or I think try to increase the fan speed of your miner you can do it by using FMS tool under diagnostic and send this command below.

Code:
[{"command":"ascset","parameter":"0,fan-spd,90"}]
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please help lost btc on: May 22, 2023, 01:54:25 PM
The password you mean is the extension words aka passphrase? If that is not a wallet.dat file or Electrum wallet you can use the FinderOuter tool to find the password of your seed backup.

You can find it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214021.0

As you said it's 5 characters it takes months to find the password using this tool because they don't support GPU yet unless you know some parts of your password.
1364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to change login password? on: May 21, 2023, 11:55:34 PM
Are you sure this is your account? Before this post, you have a recent post posted on December 23, 2022. Meaning you just login in today so how did you log in?

Maybe your account is set to always log in and your browser still has your old cookies which is why you still have access to your account. But the problem is we do not know if you are the real owner of this account you don't even have a stake address to verify unless you referring to another account.

I suggest don't logout here while trying to recover your account through email use incognito mode on the browser. Or if you also do not have access to your Email instead ask mods if you can able to change the email and password of this account on their side.
1365  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Advice on low power ASIC on: May 21, 2023, 11:30:44 PM
T15/s15 do not have much support or no modded firmware support if I were you instead buy a used s9 because it's more flexible you can use other firmware like Braiins OS and then use auto-tune to set it mine at that power.
1366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apple ID Vulnerability Exposes CryptoWallets To Theft on: May 21, 2023, 11:19:05 PM
Agree with this news because my friend asks me to help him create an Apple ID but is not easy to create an account on Apple before because it asks for I think debit/credit card if I remember correctly unlike years ago when steve jobs still alive you can easily make Apple ID without them.

However, instead of creating a new account, I give him my own account since I switch to Android due to more supported games/apps but I notice he can able to recover old data from my previous iPhone like contacts and data of some apps. Luckily I don't use it for Bitcoin because all my wallet before is on my old Laptop.

I can still see that there still many Apple users can't able to make Apple IDs which is why many phone technicians are selling Apple accounts or iCloud.
1367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Miner A1166 Pro 81T rebooting frequently on: May 21, 2023, 11:47:49 AM
The miner boots correctly and when it starts to show mining activities on its dashboard, it decelerate the fans to full stop and restart over, after about 30 seconds.

If you can go to the dashboard would you mind to go to API logs and copy them and then paste it here put it inside the insert code tag or use pastebin.com and paste the URL here.

Since it's rebooting do it faster we might get some idea on the logs.

If you can't then I suggest try to disconnect all cables and replug only the power supply and control board try to run it without hashboards and let see if you can get the recent API logs.
1368  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Mempool.Space accelerator service on: May 20, 2023, 11:58:18 PM
i try to follow the steps from that tweet but i can't even open the website from that thread
I also tried that, but couldn't open the webpage.
The tweet says "here's a demo of our upcoming Mempool Accelerator". Maybe, they haven't launched their service yet.

It's not available yet even the video guide I use the URL when accessing it just loads and can't access it.

I also tried other nodes or servers available from here https://mempool.space/lightning/group/the-mempool-open-source-project

But all of them do not have an accelerator button and some of them can't able to access.
1369  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: safe to upgrade Electrum?? on: May 20, 2023, 11:29:54 PM
Is it safe to upgrade Electrum on the same machine?
Should I try on a different machine first?
Or start again with the seed?

It depends on your PC and maybe your PC is already infected with virus/malware.

If I were you better to reformat and install a fresh OS in your PC to make sure your wallet is safe before you install Electrum and restore your wallet with your seed backup.
Just don't forget to verify the installer first as suggested above before you install.
1370  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Mempool.Space accelerator service on: May 20, 2023, 11:51:58 AM
It seems you bit confuse about the current mempool fee suggestion as you can see on the video the accelerator is not free the cost of accerator according to video is $16.30 if you know Viabtc they do also have the paid accelerator it works just the same.

Like other said above mining operators can manually choose transaction like 1sat/vbyte to include on the current block they mine.
1371  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: GameBoy Hardware Wallet! on: May 20, 2023, 11:37:48 AM
This project is pretty awesome just like mining BTC on old gameboy.

The idea is interesting, but looking at provided video and reading their video it seems this wallet only can generate mnemonic phrase. I expect all hardware wallet should transaction signing feature, although i doubt it's possible in this case since GameBoy doesn't seem to have HD camera accessory. Without signing feature, i could just run offline Bitcoin wallet on Linux which utilize /dev/urandom.

I think based on what they said it still under develop and they might add some feature since the old gameboy has link cable they maybe use it to transfer signed and unsigned raw transaction they can convert the link cable to USB adapter using Raspberry Pi Pico.
1372  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help! Electrum - Linux can't install (eng, esp, ita, pycc) on: May 19, 2023, 10:47:12 PM
Have you tried the guide provided by electrum.org under "Installation from Python sources" or the guide provided from their github page here

If it didn't work would you mind to copy paste the error here so that we know what command you stuck.
1373  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166PRO again u.u on: May 19, 2023, 10:16:21 PM
Bootby say your miner is not hashing for 5 minutes system status only show 2 hashboard and ECMM[1] its pointing to bad connection between hashboard and control board.

Would you mind to try to replug all cables if you already did that try to swap them within these 3 hashboard and always check the system status from your logs if the 3rd hashboard will show up.
1374  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I want to migrate from Trust Wallet to another wallet. on: May 19, 2023, 04:18:39 PM
I think only Metamask is capable to import the seed from Trustwallet but I do not think it's a safe way to import seed phrases from Trustwallet to Metamask.

If I were you why not create a new wallet on Metamask and send all your funds from trustwallet that's the safest than using the same seed from another wallet.

And if you staked some Tron coins on the trust wallet just leave it there or better use the ledger hardware wallet they do support staking on ledger live.
1375  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Experiment not works on: May 19, 2023, 03:45:31 PM
It seems the transaction is already dropped from some nodes I can't check this on other block explorers so this transaction maybe already rejected by the mempool.

@OP can you check the Electrum maybe the transaction is already rejected and you can recreate the transaction but this time increase the fee and follow the suggested fee from https://mempool.space/

But if still show as pending in your wallet then your option is to use the bump fee or ask your friend to do CPFP.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algorithm for selecting a low-fee transaction from the mempool on: May 19, 2023, 02:38:45 PM
What I am asking is what algorithm miners/mining pools typically follow.

Not miners who can decide what transaction they want to include on the block but the mining pool operator.
I think the algo they use is fee-rate or fee-per-byte where they can sort all transactions from low to high fees.

Only mining pool have their own way how to pick transactions but most of the pools always pick high transaction fees to make more profit.

1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the solution to traffic congestion on the bitcoin network? on: May 17, 2023, 11:08:40 PM
That is pretty normal that we have a congested network. Even Segwit doesn't solve this case.

But a few months ago we are paying pretty cheap fees compared today.

The only solution to get low cost transaction is to turn your transaction always consolidated from previous transaction.

Thank you All! Newbie error, had a security feature in my router blocking the connection. All good now. So I hear ANTPOOL is bad and I should mine on another pool...
Hello . I'm newbie too. i am having the same problem right now. Can you explain in detail how you solved the problem? thanks for your help.

Based on what he said the issue comes from the router that prevents the miner to connect to mining pool.

You can also try to switch your miner to static IP and then add DNS to bypass those firewall on the router or setup your router to disable firewall.

This logs POOLS [1] it says the Pool network good but the FMS tool say it's a pool problem.

Have you tried to switch to another pool to test? I'd like to suggest try ViaBTC pool or https://solo.ckpool.org/

Another logs is BOOTBY[0x04.00000000] Canaan description logs says AM_BOOTBY_WEB
It looks like related to a connection problem with the pool.

System status your miner is running at idle.

So switching to another pool might solve your case unless your router blocks them if it's blocked you can set your unit to static and add DNS Google or Cloudflare.
