same question for you?

would you say that the btc earned per gh/s is the same as what the btc calculators say you should be earning?

No, because those calculators are just an estimation, there is variance.

Me too! Cheers to reaching the break even point!

would you say that the btc earned per gh/s is the same as what the btc calculators say you should be earning?

you'd be as well using a crystal ball, as using the calculators.

well would you say it is as good as the pool of your choice would be? and over the long  run variance typicaly would work itself out? i guess i am just trying to get a feal for the performance of the pool since you cant point your hash where you want?

also whats this recommendation commission? can you open 1 account and then buy more and get commission from yourself ? or is that frowned upon... what happens if you keep buying more hash here and there, does it all run together or is it seperate contracts and viewed as seperate results?

First, it seems to be a few satoshis under the long term average, but that's perfectly normal.
Second, some pools merge mine Namecoins and Devcoins and Ixcoins, but PBMining does not, but I personally don't care much about those.
2242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 15, 2014, 07:11:15 AM
I am a bit confused to as how this exactly works. They say we are mining the most profitable coin but usually the exchanged coins take like 8hrs + to get from immature to be available for payout. This brings a question in mind does the coin remain that much profitable at the time of exchange? Cause it seems that clevermining is being clever and I am only getting the same payout as I was on coinshift even though the profitably here seems higher at least from the stats being provided my clevermining... I may just be plain wrong as I am new to all this but can anyone please explain to me if I am calculating somthing wrong here?

That's exactly the information I am after too. Simply put is the altcoin most profitable at the time of exchange? Or maturity etc...

All coins need to mature and get confirmed.
Also, coins are profitable mostly due to a drop in difficulty, not a spike in price.

2245  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: May 14, 2014, 09:36:21 PM
does pb use there own pool or can you point it where you want?

There are no cloud mining services that allow you to choose your own pool.
2246  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 14, 2014, 08:53:12 PM
Your PrimeDice advertisement must be on the first line of your signature!

You may not advertise any other sites/threads. This includes non-paid for advertisements. You may include other non advertising related. This is limited to a quote or your Bitcoin address etc. If you do choose to add this it must be very small font, uncolored with no effects

You check this in Post 1 and decide what you done I think if you do this without any color then its better

Hmmm... I'm gonna PM Stunna. Dunno if it's OK.
2247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2.8 btc transaction fee paid, help please on: May 14, 2014, 08:42:35 PM
there still should be a fee calculator online so that we know how much to include...

The problem is that bitcoin tx fee depends on the tx size in KB.
To calculate the "correct fee", you will need to know the number of inputs and outputs of that tx, which is a bit too difficulty to those new users...

Yeah... Well, someone could make a calculator, which looks up the input addresses from the blockchain, and calculates the size and the fee?

There is still a problem in it, as people usually don't "consolidate" their bitcoin.
So, the sender may have used 20 different addresses to receive bitcoin before (say, 10 addresses for 10 different faucets, 1 for sig ad payment, 1 for selling domain, 8 change addresses, etc).

Well, they could type in all addresses they want to send from.
2248  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [Help] 100% Rejection Rate on several pools on: May 14, 2014, 08:31:04 PM
They are likely rejected due to "Low difficulty". You cannot fix this, it's because your hashrate is too low, and mining litecoins is much more profitable than mining bitcoins.

Buying from minerEU has been an unmitigated disaster. Miners were used, many rusty. Poor compensation offer is a no-show. I'd like to order another 100 seeds, but I'd prefer to stay the hell away from minerEU. Do you fancy putting together another group buy Cedric? I'm in the UK and could distribute here in boxes of 10 or 20.

I would love to help you, but they aren't produced anymore as long as your talking about the 5-chip miners ...and they are sold out ... however for the blades I could help you of course and probably getting even a better price for you then minerEU.

Is Gridseed planning on making any other products?

Guys, is my signature OK? I just have the primedice link.
I don't think that Stunna allows anything other than your btc address but it seems you have something on top in your sig.

If I'm not mistaken, Stunna allows anything which is not a company advertisement (private ads are allowed), though this somewhat interferes with the PD sig sleeky appearance... Cool

Well... It really isn't an advertisement, since it's just my title... And also, it isn't a link...
2252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2.8 btc transaction fee paid, help please on: May 14, 2014, 08:25:22 PM
I love blockchain.info, but I think that one should have to enter some "Advanced User" section that is annoying to get to for the wallet to *ever* sign transactions with such astronomical fees.
this

The fee should be automatically inputted, or there be at least an option to auto-fill in the correct fee. It's a minor annoyance that you have to manually put it in and it would definitely stop things like this from happening. New users also often don't really know how much to correctly send.

Indeed it is not only blockchain.info. I have heard of people accidentally mistyped the fee amount in Electrum as well.
IMHO, all wallet clients should warn the user when the fee amount is too big, say 10x more than min fee.

Even if it does not auto fill in the correct fee, there still should be a fee calculator online so that we know how much to include...
2253  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Slow hashrate only 0.09 on: May 14, 2014, 05:59:18 PM
That is normal. Also you might want to use cgminer or bfgminer. You can then change the intensity to 20. Which should increase the hash rate. Are you using Windows OS?

The above is not proper advice.

You will earn next to nothing with that GPU. Nothing, you will just lose money paying electricity fees.
so what GPU should i use?... i want to invest some money into this...

Bitcoin GPU mining is dead since long ago. Please watch this video:

Oh sry, I misread your sent and received feedback.
How about 0.062BTC ?
Are you offering him even more than real price? They are supposed to be cheap. I've seen some selling for $4 each but they are blackhat I think.

To know the difference between a 'real' account, and a cracked 'account' is that on Hack Forums, we usually call them 'alts'. Alts are real accounts that were cracked. They sell cheaper (Sometimes $.25 for 15-50 Alts and come with better benefits usually.) real accounts are bought accounts. Depending on the name, they can sell for a high price or for the cheap.

Since they're essentially your account, they have less benefits than Alts in my opinion.

I have no idea about those alts and cracked, but I can buy him a Minecraft Gift Code.

I think you will be waiting a while. The prices might have dropped but they have not dropped that far yet.

I'll send you a pm - I found a guy selling brand new ones for $40 each - he has 500 of them in stock - they're in greece but the shipping is cheap - I bought 100 of them from him.

I'll sent you a private message with his contact info,

Send a PM to me too please. It's hardly believable, but I'd like to know more.
2259  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hi, would you recommend to overclock an avalon clone 200ghs to 1400?? on: May 14, 2014, 04:03:17 PM
Hi, would you recommend to overclock an avalon clone 200ghs to 1400??

If you mean to 1400GH/s, that is impossible.
If you mean 1400MHz, then yes, since that equates to 220GH/s.
2260  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Gridseeds - $100 USD (11 available) on: May 14, 2014, 04:00:36 PM
Cheers guys, thanks for the links.

Hadn;t realised how much these had come down in price, these cost ~$200 when first ordered from beastlymac, then didn't arrive for several months, now they've finally turned up and I don't have time to obtain a controller and find a space to set them up I figured I'd just sell them on, but it seems I'll be swallowing a 75% loss  Sad

Ah well, shit happens.

bitlind: I'll let you know if I decide to sell, but I'm not even sure its worth dumping them at current price, might just order a controller and get them set up...

If you are gonna dump them for less than $79, be sure to tell me. I'd buy.
