anyone else notice how slow it's been the last 24 hours or so?
i never have taken notice before, but with this clock as a visual, i notice the second hand seems 2 or 3 hours late for it's current position.
are there any other sites that graphs "blocks found per day"? somewhere i can go to easily read how many blocks were found in the last 24 hours? (because i'm sure it was less than 144).

Pussy.
Positivity, eh?
thanks guys i just thought of a new word: pussitivity (not sure exactly what it means yet.) as for what i live for, i enjoy the pursuit of freedom. i get excited whenever i learn about something (i.e. bitcoin) that i think could help me enjoy more of it.

recently i paid shakaru a rather large sum to build me a 20Gh/s powerhouse, and he said it would take about 14-21 days to get it online.
if that's what's causing the stress shakaru, then PM me about it, and take some time out to relax. it's not worth losing your hair over.

Trading with fake money is the best way to get a good understanding of it. No, absolutely not. Trading with fake money is a great way to build confidence before you go live and blow your account up, because of this... It is a 1% technical skills and 99% psychology. Open a small account with a broker/mm that allows micro lot trading. I'd recommend FXCM. Depending on what country you live in, anywhere from $50-200 is sufficient for proper money management in a micro account. The fact that you're trading with real money, even though it's small amounts of money, changes the game entirely. It will force you to experience the most difficult aspect of trading: emotion. Demo accounts don't do that. i completely agree. $100 of real money is far better practice than $100,000 fake money. (i recommend fxtrade.com for micro accounts)

A Gift: expressco.in
Let's see how long this one stays available.
oh what fun. here are some more available: BITCOINBIKINIS.COM BITCOINSWIMWEAR.COM BITCOINOFFPEAK.COM BITCOINDAILYDEALS.COM BITCOINACCESSORIES.COM SEXYBITCOIN.COM

Whats a good one worth?
not counting top domains like 'bitcoin.com', i guess a regular sort of one would go for between $50 and $200 then there's bitcoinblackjack.com which probably should be in the thousands but so far hasn't been used as far as i can tell. so it depends how 'good' you're talking about.

ESET NOD32 flagged it as "potentially dangerous content" and in my experience they are usually pretty accurate. But if you feel differently then by all means check it out, I was just giving a friendly heads-up.
i also run (and am happy with) nod32... but can you name ANY .cc website that it will let you visit? i haven't seen one yet.
|
|
|
Caution to anyone wanting to check out this site, it has been blacklisted for having "potentially dangerous content"
pretty much every .cc gets labeled as such.

You know what would be cool? A version of a QR code that gives a message when scanned. Something along the lines of "Greetings! You've discovered bitcoin! Bitcoin is an anonymous digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone. Learn more at http://www.blahblahblah.blah" that's a lot of data...

Can't say from here what the problem is.
Make sure you've got enough power, have good connectivity and enough storage space.
well i score 3 out of 3: sitting next to router with full power, and almost brand-new phone with practically nothing else on it. so i'll wait a bit if a new version is coming out soon, thanks

well that didn't work.
13% was actually as far as it got and has been stuck on 13% since my last reply.
so i quit the program, waited for the sync icon to disappear, and then launched the program again, but it's just back to how it was before - not syncing at all.

Yes, if you clear data in Android app manager, you'll lose everything.
If you want only to clear the blockchain or your transactions, use in-app Options -> About -> Reset. Nothing valuable will be lost that can't be downloaded again.
Thanks i just found this... it's a very strange thing that any software would accept user input in the 'about' area, so i never expected to find user-interactive functions there, only static information. ...but full chain is slowly coming down now. 13% so far.

You might be able to clear its downloaded data, go to Settings > Applications > Appname, and there should be an option to 'Clear Data' ... I don't know if this will work or not, I haven't tried this client before, though. Since you've already transferred your coins out it should be safe to try this, though.
yep just 0.02 at risk at this point... so thank you i'll try it. edit: actually that would clear my addresses too i guess. I only want to clear/reset the blockchain and see if i can get the full chain again, keeping the current keys and hence my 0.02.

google tells me 5" is about 12.7cm.
...so that'd be just a bit bigger than a CD then.

For what it is worth I have been using this program for a while with no issues. I just fired it up on my phone and it dutifully started a block chain sync with no problems.
yeah it did that for me for 2 or 3 weeks, but just decided not to do that any more... and i hadn't sent/received for a long time, all i was doing was launching it once a day to get the block chain synced. luckily, it still broadcast a transaction, so i took my coins out of it until the issue is resolved. (still got a few cents stuck that is currently being sent to it though)

i've been using this software for a while and had no problems but just recently it suddenly stopped downloading the block chain.
since a few days ago it no longer syncs at all.
any ideas how to get it going again?

hi yochdog, you say you can do 15GH/s... is this in addition to the 10GH/s I have already contracted for september 27th through to october 27th?

Why do all of them popup Godaddy?
it's not all of them. it's probably just the recent ones that haven't had a website built for them yet. yeah i've noticed most of the domains purchased haven't actually been used for real businesses yet. ...but if you go back a few days http://bitcointree.com/?date=20110914bitcoinmailer.com has a website.
