2261  Economy / Securities / Re: mBTC Investment chance - Weekly Cashout on: May 14, 2014, 03:59:29 PM
I apologize for the miscommunication. There is no chance the coins can be lost (as I will be cashing them in as soon as I receive them) and they are guaranteed (to never be returned to you). I hope this helps clarify why this business opportunity is so lucrative (to me, not you)

Best explanation ever!

Thanks. I think I just gave away the majority of my business tricks. So how much are you investing?!

What is the maximum amount? I'd invest that, all I got.
2262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] User: WonFreeBitcoin on: May 14, 2014, 03:57:52 PM
hi! scammer refund money? i also scammed

No, but PBMining did, since it was technically their fault.
2263  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Projected Transaction fees for bitcoin 2015-2030? on: May 14, 2014, 03:54:30 PM
Because of competition the fee will remain at almost zero.

You find a block, what do you do? A rational miner will take all transaction with fee >0 (greater than zero but not zero), even if only 1 satoshi. Otherwise the miner who finds the next block will take it. This is how competition works, and this is one of the best features of bitcoin.

If one miner controlled the entire network he could set the fee much higher. It would be foolish of him not to. This is why visa, paypal, okpay etc have stiff fees. Once you control the network you can milk it. No one will is able to do so with bitcoin.

A special case for bitcoin is when the number of transactions exceeds the block limit. In this case the miner fill block with the transaction with the highest fees. This in turn will force users to increase their fees. Now it is not a big issue, but as far as I understand one of the great challenges forward is to go from the current heuristics to a market based system.

As a side note: Why is it so that he who is wrong usually laughs at he who is right and not the other way round?

First, I am not wrong.
Second, I find a block, I include as many transactions as I like and the ones that I want. I can include no transactions if I want to, but I would include the highest fee ones. All pools do the same, so fee wouldn't go lower. Even if I included more transactions at a lower fee, I would end up earning much less than if I include less with higher fee, such as a 2.8BTC one.

Oh sry, I misread your sent and received feedback.
How about 0.062BTC ?

No problem, do you want to use escrow?
I can't send first right now since I don't have enough funds yet, so if you want escrow or me to send first then please wait until the 18th (Around 0.36 from Stunna's signature campaign).
I prefer escrow.

Morning guys,

I had problems over night with the rig not showing the correct speed on LR though when I came to check CGminer no issues at all - anybody seen anything similar?

I know. Same here, open a ticket, they then connected my miner to a additional debug thing to try and find out the problem.
2266  Economy / Services / Re: Copying a visa card? on: May 14, 2014, 03:44:35 PM
I seriously think that being able to use credit cards online is a terrible idea. At a physical store, they will at least request a signature, but online, no signature, no password, just have Card No., Expiry date, CVV and you're all set.

My bank doesn't allow transactions from foreign countries without permission, also my billing zip code and the shipping zip code has to match when purchasing online. If you're going to use a dummy card why not just get a CC programmer and make the numbers anything you want, I seen it on mythbusters once.

Lucky for you, we in Spain here don't have that option. Literally no security at all.
A secure password will be enough, but I have no idea why that isn't implemented.

Yes, like said you wouldn't be able to double spend you funds if you did infact replicate the card. The money isn't actually stored on the card but rather a key to where your funds are located!

Yeah, that's right. Good thing the latest version of BitcoinGenerator2014 still lets you create gazillions of bitcoins for free!

That thing is simply hilarious.
2267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: May 14, 2014, 03:40:40 PM
Yeah no worries mate. I will get onto that. Was just trying to speed up the process. Sorry if I ticked ya off mate.

Im just after some informative and advise from people unassociated with clevermining.com

Hey guys,

I just have two questions about clevermining.com

1. how do you get in contact with them?

2. (The question I would've asked clevermining.com contact(if I could find it)??
So exactly how are the scrypt coins calculated for they're values, during the auto-switch mining, in a 24 hour period before payout in BTC?

For example, is there a time thats set for Daily payout on the site?

Also, say hypothetically the daily payout is every 24 hours, would that mean if a particular crytpo coin was profiting well druing the first 8 hours of the 24 hour period before payout occured and then the coin slumped in value hugely, for the rest of the 24 hour period before pay out....

Would those crytpo coins, therefore be exchanged and paid out in BTC, at their current(hence lower) value?  And therefore not converted to BTC at their most profitable value during the hypothetical 24 hour period?

Please let me know your thoughts crypto guru's.

cheers

Alex

I'm not a crypto guru but I have one advice for you - RTFTF (Read The F*cking Thread First)
Start with post one where you can find an answer at least for your first question easily.

I'm not sure what you are asking about. Payouts are not based on some calculated value, but on the real value which the pool got from mining coins.

We mine a coin -> we wait until it's matured and we're able to send it -> we send it to an exchange -> we exchange it into BTC -> we withdraw BTC from exchange -> we pay out to users.

Of course every block can be exchanged at different price, depending on what the best price was available at the time of exchanging. If a coin had a price 1 BTC in the morning but 0.5 BTC in the evening and we mined a block in the afternoon, then of course we will be able to exchange it for only 0.5 BTC because 1 BTC price is long gone. Or maybe you know some method to exchange currencies using either prices from half a day or current prices, whichever you find suitable. I could use such trick! ;-)

If you don't understand, it means that the coins are exchanged ASAP, once they mature.
2268  Economy / Services / Re: Copying a visa card? on: May 13, 2014, 09:40:29 PM
No it isn't possible because unlike some Bitcoin exchanges banks learned about the concept of ACID compliant transactions about forty years ago.  BTW there is no money "in the card" just like there is no car hidden inside your car key.  The key and card are just access mechanisms.

Well said sir ! Smiley

I just wonder if it is possible for a hacker to use 3D printer to replicate a VISA/MasterCard ?

Well I am not going to help you engage in credit card fraud but it is trivially easy to produce fake magnetic based credit cards.   They have absolutely no security.  It would be like a bitcoin wallet with the private key written right on the front and broadcast in plaintext to anyone you buy goods from (or anyone else who happens to be listening).

This is a big reason the industry is moving towards chip & pin based cards, magnetic based cards are horribly insecure.

So, does it mean a 3D printer can reproduce a magnetic tape ?

No, but it can be made quite easily.

No because you cannot reproduce the magnetic stripe correctly. And you don't need a hacker to use a 3D printer.

1. So you are saying that Vod is exploiting you, a handicapped or mentally disabled?
2. A Forensic Analyst's job is to help investigator solve crimes, by collecting evidence on the crime scene and investigating them.

2272  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [E-Book]Guide to Mining**Free** Newbie Friendly on: May 13, 2014, 08:53:09 PM
Great intro book, thanks.

Is there a cheap stable hardware solution for somebody who doesn't plan on mining for profit, but just wants to set up a local node to help improve confirmation times and would a cheap easy device like that be an overall benefit to the network?

First, you could buy a AntMiner U2 if you just want to try out mining without profit, it's quite cheap.
If you want to set up a bitcoin node, try this simple and cheap guide: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/24rkzq/launch_a_full_bitcoin_node_on_digital_oceans/
A local node does not improve confirmation times.
If you are mining, you are contributing to the network by securing it, but we are like in a shortage of full bitcoin nodes right now.

Wouldn't weekly payments be much harder for Stunna as he doesn't pay members automatically?

Also wouldn't weekly payments encourage more users to jump ship and switch between different sig deals each week? Automated payments come with its own challenges, but weekly payments is simply convenience for the participants, at the cost of an overhead to the campaign owner.

Yeah... Weekly is just awesome, but frustrating for organizer, monthly is easy for organizer, but a bit too long...
Bi-Weekly?

How is monthly a bit too long?

Are people depending on what the earn in the sig campaign to supplement their income? Monthly is more than fair. Not only would it be very time consuming it would make payouts very small and a waste for the users that don't make very many posts monthly.

Lol, to buy things that I need when I need to? And not wait 3 more weeks?

By the way, you should try my signature design to show your BTC address, since it's cut off in the middle right now.

Yeah, I want to try that!
Can you send me code for it?

Weekly payment, as offered by UpDown.bt, is a good option. Why dont Stunna shift to it ? I'd also request the same to Ritz. This is good for members in general...

First, stop spamming in huge font sizes, we are not blind, thank you.
It is a good idea, but ask in a proper way.

Learn the meaning of the word Spamming. Your english is weak. Work on that before your next post. Thank you Wink

I'm looking at your grammar and it appears to be weak as well.

Well... as the other 2 Sig deals are offering automated payout, Stunna may consider this. Obviously he is the last person to take the final call. Though, I believe weekly payment does not mean only going out. It also means coming back. So Stunna may consider the +ve side too.

@byt411 @Holdaaja @zolace Threats dont work on me. Only reasoning and rationality works. If u guys make sure that my account faces problem in Sig deals, as already stated by Holdaaja & Zolace...
Does up down pay for trolling?
I didn't post here anything I should have done via pm...

New india what your doing now is not considered constructive and if you think that is gonna boost your post count then you can kiss being part of any sig campaign goodbye.

Yeah, I asked does updown pay for trolling, because you trolled here and most of sig deals won't pay for trolling.
So I was just wondering does updown pay for that, doesn't mean I'm going to squeal about you. (coz I don't care about you)
And look like answer is no since you got so scared Cheesy
