2282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading pair not found on Tradingview, how to add it? on: November 03, 2022, 10:48:15 PM
The reason why it's not yet in TradingView is due to liquidity I can't even find any pair for "MEX".

If your purpose is to use tradingview for analyzing the Coin or token then the exchange you use has its own tool just switch it to an advanced trading chart you can also switch it to the tradingview screen.

Don't access the MEXC exchange through the mobile version their trading tools will be vanished.
2283  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: i lost my btc on: November 03, 2022, 02:53:09 PM
If you don't have a backup seed your last hope is to find the wallet file but if it's a tails OS I don't think you can still recover it using file recovery.

Anyway, if it's not Tails OS then try to check these folders below

Code:
Home folder > View > show hidden files > .var/app/org.electrum.electrum/.electrum/wallets.

Or
cd ~/.electrum/wallets

Let's hope the wallet file still there.
2284  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ebang Ebit E9.3 Firmware - no more Ebang support on: November 03, 2022, 02:40:48 PM
I am not sure whether its firmware issue or power supply issue as power supply is normal.  Thanks.

I can't say if it's a firmware issue but it is more likely a PSU issue.

Can you still access the WebGUI or dashboard?
If you can still access through the miner's IP would you mind checking the API logs or any logs that contain your miner's activity logs? Maybe we can find the issue under that logs?

Post the logs here don't forget to put it inside the code tag a # button you can find it while editing your post.

Also, I would like you to try is to hard reset the miner by holding the IP or reset button for 15 to 20 seconds then release.
Set up the miner again then test.
2285  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Quick question - Mix apw9/+ psu on: November 03, 2022, 02:26:50 PM
Based on the specs they are the same except for overcurrent protection so I think they will work.

Check the specs comparison here below

Apw9
- https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000069686-APW9-14-5V-21V-Specification

Apw9+
- https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000069726-APW9-14-5V-21V-Specifications

Why not buy a universal one instead? Zeusbtc has universal apw9/+ here https://www.zeusbtc.com/UsedMinerDetails.asp?ID=277
So that the chasing shouldn't be a problem.
2286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quox Capital on: November 02, 2022, 11:51:10 PM
We understand that with all new trading platforms there will be a hesitancy and a trust issue, we are on here now to help build this trust with ourselves. We look forward to you trading with us.

How can I trust an exchange that use Wordpress CMS?
Is the exchange site  regitered on FinCEN and comply with AML?

I never heard that there is exchanges that use Wordpress its pretty suspicious and how the owners rely on Wordpress?
I'm sure users will get some issue trading on Wordpress due to security issues.

Another thing is that most of your whois info are in private no physical address.

So how can we trust you?
2287  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ebang Ebit E9.3 Firmware - no more Ebang support on: November 02, 2022, 11:31:21 PM
Thank you for keep helping. I really appreciated. Below is the control board image link to be revived by you for further help in searching of firmware for this. Thanks.

https://i.ibb.co/Kb6DL1J/IMG-20221102-171756.jpg

Sorry to say but I cant  find any firmware for this control board. Even my old links for zynq CPUs are no longer available.

What exactly the current status of your miner? Why did you want it to upgrade it?

If its not working due to firmware issue your last hope is to replace the control board.
2288  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.3.2 Lost Funds on: November 02, 2022, 11:08:46 PM
How did you generated the seed from Electrum?
The generated seed phrase is from other source and imported to Electrum and then you just sweep your old wallet to this wallet?

Another thing is that would you mind to tell us what exactly backup from pcloud did you store? Is that the private key that you sweep or the backup seed?

The bad thing is you store your wallet into cloud storage which is not safe and will never be safe.
2289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to buy btc in Canada?!? on: November 02, 2022, 06:29:17 PM

they charge at least 10% commission +other fees trust me i asked them !...
How many ATM owners did you try to ask?
At least you tried it with 3 different owners to make sure about the commission fee. There are some ATMs only ask for a 2% to 5% commission fee you might just be unlucky today to find them.

How about the list from here https://bitcoin.org/en/exchanges#north-america

I hope some of them will work with less fees.
2290  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Investing in mining during a bear market on: November 02, 2022, 05:53:51 PM
Have you tried calculating profit?
https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-s19-hydro-158th
With free electricity, this ASIC will give a profit of $ 12 per day or pay off in more than 2 years, because the hashrate is growing.
The cost of bitcoin mining is rumored to be from 14 to 20 thousand dollars. Is it better to buy bitcoin now?
Yes, difficulty and hash rate changes and the profitability is not stable it still depends on the price of Bitcoin.
If you talking about the ROI then there is another tool that you can use to predict how many days or months you can ROI or break even.
Here's the tool
https://www.mycryptobuddy.com/BitcoinMiningCalculator

And the rumor you talking about to s19 hydro the cost you mention is far from the current price right now it's around $3950 better check bitmain shop.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Where is my BTC from 2010? Help on: November 02, 2022, 05:20:08 PM
Do you still remember what exactly wallet you are using before? If it's bitcoin-qt then the above is right look for the wallet.dat file you can mostly find it in the bitcoin folder under AppData/Roaming/bitcoin.

Or use the search button just go to your drive then search and use the "wallet" keyword to find it.
Once you find it make sure bitcoin-qt is closed because sometimes if the bitcoin-qt is running while copying the wallet.dat it would become corrupted. So make sure it's closed then don't forget to make multiple copies before you try to extract the private key from wallet.dat.

You can also use pywallet to dump private keys from wallet.dat.
2292  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ebang Ebit E9.3 Firmware - no more Ebang support on: November 01, 2022, 11:55:27 PM
I tried to search but I couldn't find other sources to download them I have a list of that firmware before in Google Drive as I bookmarked but I formatted my PC which is why I can't retrieve my links.

Would you mind checking the control board for the exact model and CPU name we will try to search it through that keyword?

Let's see if can still retrieve them or find another source.
2293  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Repairing MacBook - electrum on: November 01, 2022, 11:34:45 PM
Instead of bringing your Macbook to a repair shop or apple store, it would be better to DIY it is not hard to replace MacBook LCD just follow some YouTube disassembly or replacement guide you can do it yourself.
The advantage is your wallet and privacy are safe you don't need 3rd party but if you don't want to DIY and you still want to hire a tech then ask the repair shop if they can take the hard drive out so that you can take it home or if you can wait and watch while they replacing the LCD.

I am not a MacBook user but there must be a way for it to take the hard drive off from the machine. You can do that too.

You can ask the technician to remove the hard drive and you can take it home they don't need it because they are going to replace only the LCD they can test the LCD without the hard drive.
2294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning]:Android droppers in Google play distributing banking and crypto trojan on: November 01, 2022, 11:20:21 PM

I was getting bored a few nights ago and had time to kill before going to pick the wife and kid and decided to what the hell, play some game, went for a puzzle type with a  ton of downloads and reviews, and when to start, it needs GPS, camera, call, contacts and a ton of other permission. Really?  And this is one of those that announce you they are going to screw with you, what happens with others I don't want to even think, that's why if you have the $, go for Apple and only paid apps, android and free apps launched a month ago are a recipe for disaster.

There are lots of apps on playstore that always ask for permission for contacts, files, camera and I think most of the sensors that is why I enabled the developer option to use "sensors off" to be able to disable all of them and no one can able to monitor my phone even I accept permission almost sensor will not work like camera and mic.
I'm using Samsung S9+ I don't know if other phone model have sensor off option in developers option.

Good first step is replacing g-store with Aurora Store, but it is best if you could use stores that have only open source apps, like F-Droid, Neo-Store, IzzyOnDroid, Droid-ify, etc. and even them be careful what you install.

I don't think its a good way to install 3rd party source where you can download apps most of them actually have malware.

If you want to download apps safely then download it to the original source if you know that if its safe like downloading Electrum directly on Electrum.org instead of downloading it on GooglePlayStore.

If its open source then instead of downloading it in Google build it from the source and download it then install.

If this is all about bitcoin developing then there is a good source of them to learn.
C++ is I think mostly use but there also other programming languages that you can use developing blockchain.

Anyway, if the above posts is not enough check these links below hope it will help.

One possible benefit of buying paper (physical) bitcoins could be that you could purchase them with [physical] cash which wouldn't leave any traces behind. Kind of like buying gift cards with cash which provides a high level of anonymity.
Although this method also has its downsides since you have to trust the seller and the funds used to buy those coins and the trace they leave.

I don't think there is a difference on generating the wallet offline and print it with  your own and then fund them by dealing to someone meetup or use P2P exchange to fund them.

You can also use mixer after you buy BTC from someone or P2P to break traces.

2297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to buy btc in Canada?!? on: October 31, 2022, 11:12:12 PM
I heard there are lots of Bitcoin ATM in Canada why not withdraw money instead from the Bank ATMs?
And then buy Bitcoin directly to Bitcoin ATMs(Cash to Bitcoin).

Check the list of cities in Canada below if there is Bitcoin ATM near you.

2298  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 PRO - not hashing!? on: October 31, 2022, 09:23:17 PM
Thanks for your sharing, I have seen an article about socket connect failed in zeusbtc, but it said "The troubleshooting step is applicable to A3, B3, D3, L3+, L3++, fixed frequency S9, V9, X3, Z9, Z9 mini", But these methods seem to work on the S17 pro as well.
Actually it works in all of the Bitmain units not just on selected units I experienced this many times when setting up the pool config misspellings/extra spaces are a common issue.

Maybe Zeusbtc posted it long time ago when no s17 pro units yet but it should be still work to all Bitmain units not just s17 pro.
2299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Maybe I saw something else on: October 30, 2022, 11:42:44 PM
Why not just make your own paper wallet buy bitcoin and generate your own wallet and deposit it there and then print them?

Bitaddress.org is one of the tools that can generate a paper wallet but make sure to use Bitaddress on the offline machine to make a safe paper wallet.

You can also use the Armory wallet to generate wallet and make paper wallet directly on Armory.
2300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PLEASE HELP ME, I WAS SCAMMED AND NOT ABLE TO FIND RIGHT PLACE TO POST THIS on: October 30, 2022, 11:24:58 PM
It seems the thread you referring to is deleted I also tried to check it in archive.org but no record.

Do you still know which account did the scammer use?
So that some DTs here can give him a negative tag.

Next time before you deal with someone here without trust always use escrow or make sure that the seller will give you the service or the item first before you pay. There are many scammers in the goods section so always be careful since Crypto is reversible.
