Floyd Mayweather vs Mikuru Asakura in Japan.

It was reported that Floyd will have another exhibition in Japan under Rizin in September. We are very familiar that Floyd started his whole exhibitions matches.

And for those who haven't heard the news, Floyd was inducted to the Boxing Hall of Fame, together with a lot of boxers.

https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/34081958/emotional-floyd-mayweather-jr-calls-international-boxing-hall-fame-induction-career-highlight

Wow! That was fast, he was just fighting Don Moore last month and now he have another exhibition fight, Floyd Mayweather surely knows how to keep his brand known and doing business anywhere in the world for more money. Though I'm not that sure that he started this whole exhibition matches, I know there some matches like these in the late 19th century but in 20th century, many have gone to exhibition matches after they retired, it's just that Mayweather is the remaining person who is capable to sell these fights now.
Right, Floyd can't resist the money for sure, that's why he will be back with his exhition matches again to where he started it all, in Japan. I'm still baffled as to how Rizin can afford Floyd, maybe the first exhibition really gave them a big boost as far as business again as it was reported that Rizin is losing a lot of money as a promotional company. Nevertheless, having this fight again means they still have the big money to offer to Floyd and in return they will also rake profits. I thought though that Floyd vs Manny is being work out.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 14, 2022, 09:31:14 PM
Warriors won the game last night without Curry having a monster game. 0/9 on shooting 3 pointers and only 16 points. Now they lead 3-2 and will likely close out the series in game 6. Boston played well through 4 games but they just don't have what it takes.
It was Wiggins this time, and Klay also has something to do with the big win. And what's funny is that aside from the poor shooting from Curry, they lost the 3rd quarter.

But then, they took the 4th with a huge run that Boston don't know what to do because they don't have the experience. And yes, it looks like the Warriors are going to close out the series in game 6. It will be game 6 Klay time.
2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Celsius in trouble ?!? on: June 14, 2022, 01:14:17 PM
Celsius to blame for the latest crash now ? What is going on here ? I thought Celsius was the safest bet in town after Binance !
You should have post the link about what is going on with Celsius though.

As far as the crash goes, it has something to do with the Fed rate hike causing the whole financial market to crumble in the last 48 hours. And the loom and doom scenario, recession everywhere. We haven't recovered bye the devastating effects of the Covid and then we have the war in Europe tearing everyone apart.
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 is quite possible this week on: June 14, 2022, 12:27:06 PM
In my opinion, $13K is quite possible this week for Bitcoin.
Why not? that is we are a going to see more dumps at least at the end of the week.

But whales are confuse for dumping more because they know Bitcoin has more value and it is undervalue around $13k. So more dumping means draining their bags so quickly. People are really hungry for Bitcoin in new inflationary era.
Not sure if you can categorized whales as the one who are dumping right now. They have a lot bag full of bitcoin so for me it doesn't make sense to dump them at all. On the contrary, whales are going to buy tons and shitloads of BTC because it is cheap. If there are people who are dumping right now, it is those who have panic and most likely, newbies or investors who don't have experienced seeing this kind of crash.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 13, 2022, 11:00:03 PM
And to cut the long story short he ended up not investing into something profitable as sum part of the money went back into gambling that at the end of the day he returned back to the environment he left us behind.
What a waste of opportunity it was!
I wouldn't say it's a waste of opportunity on not investing your money from gambling. For me this is not like you earn when you work hard, this is winning mate, so you are free to used it whatever you want and I don't see something wrong with your decision.

I also went on shopping spree with my family and treat them on a good restaurant and even stay on the hotel casino's for several days from the money that I won from them.
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 13, 2022, 10:34:23 PM
just want to let you know that odds are out now. and just to share the stake's odds -

i thought the gap will be small but i was wrong. canelo is still heavily favoured. maybe, owed to his age and this is the division that he is comfortable with. so for those who are rooting for GGG, time to spend some money for him because you have very good odds here. it may decrease as the fight is getting near.
I'm not surprised though, bookies is leaning towards Canelo to win big again. As we all know that Canelo won in the second fight, (but there are a lot of controversies and arguments against it). Nevertheless, this is what the punters t sports bookies saw and that's whey they give Canelo that huge odds to win even though he is coming from a lost to Bivol. Maybe as the fight gets closer, there could be small swing at the odds but it will not be that huge.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 13, 2022, 10:12:59 PM
The fifth game is going to be played tonight. I really liked Warriors and especially Curry in the last game. Their general performance was so good that Celtics couldn't keep up with them in the last quarter. Curry played a very important role in this win by scoring 43 points. He is still doing his best for his team to be the champions again. This is Celtics' biggest opportunity to become the champions after so many years. I would like to see them making it actually but they need to improve their game more.

Can Curry shoot like that every game? I have doubts. He shot very well in the previous game, but it would be unfair to him to expect the same performance every game. Other players should also take the stage. Like Poole or players like Klay have to contribute points. It just won't work with only Curry.
In Boston, players other than Tatum, Brown and Smart must score. Both Williams, White and Horford should make an extra contribution. I expect a good match tonight.
Yes, but his team knows that, and so they really have to contribute big in this game. Klay Thompson for instance is good but I would say just average in this series. He doesn't have that break out game, like scoring 30+ or more like in the series against the Grizzlies.

So this is still very close but I will lean towards the Warriors in game 5. This is very important and they are going to take the lead and make it 3-2 and then recover the home court advantage.
2308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: June 10, 2022, 11:07:29 PM
If that scenario happens, I hope people are not panicking because if they panic, they will sell all of their bitcoin before the price goes down. I really hope that the price can hold at the current price and have the power to bounce up to the high price. But we should be prepared just in case the price is really down. If that price goes down to that level, we will be back to the previous years and I guess we will have more supports that can lift the price to break the next highest price. So be patient and be careful.

How can you say that people will not panic if they see the bitcoin price crashing to 20,000$ and below? It will be an extreme panic situation and people will sell their holdings. Only the old investors will stay strong during this time as they have been in this situation before. It would be almost impossible for the new investors to stay strong in these bearish times.
Maybe the panic will be more on those newbies or who bought at the top, but for those who have seen the market crash before, then you have to think a better way to make that negative situation into positive. What I'm saying is this could be the perfect buying opportunity again. And then hope that in the next bull run, and as we have been projected, the next run could be in the 6 digits minimum. So think about the future, don't panic when the price falls hard, but instead, accumulate.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 10, 2022, 10:36:45 PM
Both are still undefeated champions in their records but different Magsayo has to defend his title otherwise he will lose the title and 1 record loss in his boxing history, Magsayo has to prepare the remaining time for hard training because he faced Rey Vagas with boxer history without defeat, so whatever the result will damage the reputation of the undisputed champion of one career boxer to one record defeat and I don't think the match will end in a draw.

Magsayo already understands the stake in this fight. Since this will be his first title defense as a WBC Featherweight Champion, I'm sure he's not even pressured but rather excited about this match. He is surely preparing for some strategies he can use in that fight.

Vargas is a good pick for this title defense. One of the best in Magsayo's league. I hope the fight will be close and be decided in a Knock Out win.

That was more entertaining to watch although others like a dominant performance by Magsayo to have a convincing win.
I think they have to accept this fight though, not sure if Vargas is mandatory or not, but they know that he is very dangerous opponent and the risk is very high. Nevertheless, they know the stake here, if ever Magsayo wins and if it will be a knock out or even a close one, in a war, he will be more recognizable. But if the worst happen, if he lose, I think Mark can still bounce back as he is still very young. The risk is high but the reward is also good for him if ever he win.
2310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 10, 2022, 10:09:27 PM
I agree that is the worst thing that could happen. And given that the Celtics don't lose back-to-back, the warriors cannot afford to lose game 4. If the warriors fall to 1-3, the Celtics most likely will take the championship in game 6.

They need to put themselves together and address and adjust their plays accordingly. Especially when Curry is trapped or mismatched. If they figure that out, they have a higher percentage of tying the series 2-2.
Celtics do not lose back to back, but they rarely won back to back as well. I have to say that we are looking at a thing that would be easily "one game to them, another game to others" type of situation for celtics. Meaning, we could definitely see Warriors win the next game, that was like that for celtics and heat series for example and eventually celtics won.
Yes, there are a lot of numbers than can either go or against Celtics in game 4. But I would say that I don't trust those numbers right now, there could be factors that they can win back to back for the 1st time as they are in the momentum to inch closer to an NBA championship.

I am not saying that Warriors will win this one, or lose the series, none of that is known right now. All I am saying is that we could make a case about warriors having a better chance to win and still end up losing the series all together, there is no guarantee of anything right now.
This will be close game, and the Warriors back is in the wall, if they lose this one, it's going to be very hard for them to recover. So let's see how this will do today, they have the experienced and they can still overcome the Celtics by one game at a time.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 10, 2022, 12:56:05 PM
I see Kobe on him and he really improve thru this season. Their duo together with brown really improve Celtics and their actions not to trade their young cores is really give them good result today and for sure they have huge chance to take this season out on GSW and the game 4 will be another exciting chapter to see. But also knowing Warriors they became more better team once they are defeated and it just Wiggins and Klay is not consistent today and Curry only make them alive this game maybe in next game they are in full revenge mode that's why we can provably see more exciting head to head match between Celtics.
You too?  Wink
He is not that far anymore, as I said in my previous posts, this kid just needs to stay confident with his game. Sometimes, he loses it and that's why the team is being dragged by it. Thankfully, many players on the Celtics team know how to step up their game and the leadership of Marcus Smart might have something to contribute to that.
Even though he had a bad Game 1 and 2 on the offensive side, he might get that MVP if the Celtics will be able to snatch this from the former champions. Because he didn't stop at just scoring, he did assists and rebounds to help.

Well, 2 of the best young players in the NBA today who admires Kobe and be like him with his mamba mentality is Jayson Tatum and Devin Booker.
But, I'll have to say Tatum is a bit better than Booker at this point of time.
Just like what you said he never stop at just scoring. Remember in Finals game 1, he was shooting 3-17fg but still managed to contribute in a different way with his 13 assist and limiting his TO to just 2 to somehow help the team secure the game 1 win on the road.
Right, Tatum and Booker will be the new face of NBA when stars like Lebron and Durant retire. The advantage of Tatum is that he has developed himself, but Booker remains just a scorer for now.. Anyhow, the series is still very unpredictable, it can still go 50/50. The lead is not that comfortable that a comeback is not possible. Maybe if Celtics will win another game. But if Warriors returns the favor and steal one, it will go down to the best of 3 match.
2312  Economy / Economics / Re: Jamaica becomes first country to make a CBDC Legal tender on: June 10, 2022, 12:08:59 PM
Jamaica’s central bank has officially recognized the “Jam-Dex” central bank digital currency (CBDC) as legal tender, becoming the first country to do so. The Bank of Jamaica (BoJ) has legalized its CBDC in a move to provide an alternative to its cash-based economy.

While others are in bid and struggle to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender here comes Jamaica with it own way of display, what role has CBDC come to play in their current economy situation which is different from the fiat currency they have been using all this while, i see no difference but rather to get things more complicated for them, why couldn't they try a new way out from the power of centralization to the digital world of decentralization using bitcoin, it's a pity that Jamaica is just revolving round the same spot, CBDC as a legal tender just make no difference but rather creating an advancement to economy inflation and instability as it were before now in Jamaica, what a wrong move.
We can't compare bitcoin and CBCD though, and it's obvious that government can make it legal tender faster than any crypto including bitcoin.

I guess it's control, it they allow bitcoin then chances are, it's going to be very difficult for them to track it. As compare to CBCD, just a regular fiat and every transactions by their population should be in their ledger. We can't say that it's a wrong move as other bigger nations is also trying to 'adopt' CBCD's.
2313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $25K the bottom? on: June 09, 2022, 10:24:34 PM
Until now the price is still holding above $30k, I think this is a sign that bitcoin has a chance to skyrocket soon, for those who buy when the price is $25k of course get a big profit if you sell now, but I recommend holding on because of the potential to return to $40k very big, maybe it could happen on this moon.
Not trying to burst the bubble for you, but if we have a chance, then this is not a bear market. But it seems that is not the scenario, as explained we are already down by huge numbers already -65% and then counting.

And what makes you think that it can return to $40k this year?

The bottom is not yet reached, I'm still expecting the price to go down in the next six months. So it's either we take that and fill our bags or are afraid to reinvest.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 09, 2022, 09:59:03 PM

We all know already that he has the power, but now he is more faster and his punch are really that firm. But I would agree that it has to be tested on the higher weight class. Just maybe he will carry it but if he is not a natural featherweight, maybe he will encounter boxers that can withstand his power.

Anyhow, I'm not familiar with Japanese anime, but I'm sure he is a hero in Japan now, him and his brother both won in this fight and could be the next big Japanese superstar. But they should conquer the US and fight there.
He might already have that in mind on stepping on higher division which he could really test out his power.Sudden change on weight wont really be something simple yet this would greatly affect speed considering on the weight added and mass but adjustments would be there and he is really that aware of such changes but its not really that a bad idea on stepping up one higher if he do sees
that he could easily fit out or capable on beating people on higher rankings but we cant be sure on what would be the outcome if ever he do tends to step up
but just like others been saying that he has the power and speed.
We've seen Manny Pacquiao didn't get as many knockout when he moves up in weight, but still he is very accurate, speed + volume punches. But what if Inoue can carry that power? that's going to be crazy at the same time very interesting to see, maybe he can still go up to 132-136 lbs if his body can do that. And I think he is still not yet reach his peak so his body can go and adapt on a higher weight and again, can bring his power and speed.
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 09, 2022, 09:37:47 PM
A great match Celtics who dominated almost the entire game. Warriors actually returned to this match for a while only in the third quarter, but the reaction of the hosts was very good and they quickly returned to a 10+ point advantage, which they did not lose until the end of the match. In the Boston team, as usual, great Tatum and Brown, and today finally also Marcus Smart showed his high class. All three of them finished the match with 20+ pts, 5+ reb and 5+ as. The last time this happened in 1984.
They got the chance to flip the momentum but the trio Smart, Brown, and Tatum are just impossible to contain on the last quarter. I guess they need to put similar effort this Saturday for them to extend the lead and they should do since it's still their homecourt and that's their main advantage to dominate.
Yes, both teams trio are the key, but this time, it was the Celtics who played exceptionally well. Warriors though are good that they made a great comeback to cut the lead. But the Celtics again with Tatum, Brown and Smart with their athleticism, dominated the Warriors in their homecourt. And the efforts that this guy game is really tremendous in both offense and defense and it's obvious that they have the momentum.
2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 09, 2022, 12:43:33 PM
Well I was certainly wrong about the Warriors being able to come in and easily beat the Celtics. Last night showed even when Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are playing well , the Celtics still seem to have an answer for them. The Celtics are just too deep too to bottom. I think the Warriors still have a shot, and I think they will win game 4, but my faith in them winning this series is pretty much gone.
They are still not out yet, but their chances are getting slim with this lost. I love how the Celtics jumps the gun on them and then play the whole game with a big heart. Specially when the Warriors try to close the gap in the 3rd. The big 3 of Celtics didn't panic. And when the 4th quarter starts, it's all over, they pulled away and responded in game 3. Let's hope that Steph is still good to go in the next game.
2317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Litecoin and Korea on: June 09, 2022, 11:59:43 AM
Litecoin encoded privacy stuff into their contract and its against some country and/or exchange policy. I think they would bounce back. Happened to Monero too
I haven't checked the story, but if this is true, then mostly it's the one reason why exchanges are delisting them. It's just uncanny though that LTC are encoding privacy stuff when it's supposed purposed is to be a little brother to BTC.

And as we all know of, exchanges such as in Korea are very strict as far as privacy coins. The local authorities are not allowing crypto's that are privacy centric such as Monero which has been de-listed years ago.
2318  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 08, 2022, 11:02:03 PM
So what do you think about Kiyosaki's point of view, is it possible that "crashes are the best time to get rich"?

I'm a bit late to the party but imho he's right and wrong in the same time.
Yes, it's easiest to get rich when the prices are crashing. But in the same time, not all the prices that have crashed will get back to high levels, hence it's identically easy to become poor by buying at crashed price.

I see people give examples with Bitcoin when the price was low. Now it's low too compared with the ATH, remember?
But somehow people don't seem to tell about the way-too-many altcoins (some shitcoins, some not so bad, but clearly unlucky) that have never recovered after the 2018-2019 crypto winter.

This is really a subjective matter to me and it depends on the strategy of the person how he can take advantage of the market.
It is also highly dependent on which coin you will be buying and holding, and selling at your own time.
The suggestion seems easy but it is a complex one when you try to apply it on yourself.
Because there are many considerations that you need to think of before buying a specific coin and hold it.
Another thing though, that is if you have the mentality and obviously the most important of all the capital. We can all say that we all wanted to buy and hold, but then again, we get emotional and sell it at the wrong time. Same thing with no capital at hand, the opportunity is there, but unfortunately, we don't have the money right away. So it depends on the individual and hopefully if will fall on the right time, when to buy and how long the individual will hold the coin to maximize the profits.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 08, 2022, 10:35:36 PM

Ryan Garcia's time will come and he should be patient for the time being because he himself know that he is still not his usual condition, after those issues he got, he still needs to prove the fans and people that he is back. He have a shot now to prove himself again and that is defeating Javier Fortuna with an impressive ending, but if his performance was still the same as he fought Tagoe back, I'm afraid he will just add another easy win to Gervonta Davis and give a stain in his own record.

He has this momentum and winning more fights with amazing outcomes will bring more fans back to him, from that part he will soon receive recognitions from promoters and those people behind this sport, Garcia needs to work more he still young and still at his prime, if he makes his way smooth, the next thing to happen is to challenge another title holder and snatch that chance to win a fight.. Roll Eyes Cool

This fight is another ticket for him to bring his name on top, step-by-step process slowly, but if he will keep on winning, there's no other thing but to be victorious again.

I could feel that he will prove himself more in this fight. He's in the process of creating a big name in the industry and he shouldn't miss this chance to be victorious again. His previous matches were too challenging so I guess his losses will give him all the eagerness to be victorious this time. Ryan is young and could build up a strong name in the industry but he should show up his stamina in every fight.
Yes, that's why he requested an immediate match for this year because maybe he is not satisfied with his Tagoe performance and wanted to prove to everyone that he is one of the best in this division. And then seeing Tank and Haney winning? Ryan could be brewing inside and wanted to fight either of those two. But he has to overcome Fortuna first and gain back his confidence so that he will still be relevant and can be a good challenger for Tank Davis and Devin Haney.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2022, 10:12:51 PM
It appears everyone is very busy arguing about Kambosos versus Haney and Inoue versus Donaire hehehe. We forgot that this weekend Stephen Fulton will also be fighting Danny Roman. It might not appear to be an important fight, we know Fulton's victory is a certainty, however, every boxing fan should watch it because if Inoue wins, he might move up to super bantamweight and challenge Fulton for the WBC and WBO super bantamweight championships.

Yes, saw that scheduled fight but the odds though. Nevertheless, I don't think that Inoue will go up in weight. Too early for him, and knowing that he is under Bob Arum, I doubt that he will allow his cash cow to immediately jump on the next weight unless he is very sure that he can take Fulton out or any of the champion in that division. So let Fulton battered Roman this weekend, and his chance to win are high because obviously he is the favorite.

It does not look too early for the Monster Inoue to move up in weight division and challenge Fulton after what we witnessed versus Donaire yesterday. It also certainly appears that Inuoe has improved since their first fight and will improve more. He is also 29 years old already. That is not very young for the sport of boxing. It is the right time for him to find new challenges in his career.
I definitely think that Inoue will start to consider moving to another weight class after he is done with Paul Butler, unfortunately for the latter, he is in the way and Inoue want that WBO belt that Butler is holding to unify all belts in this division to become an undisputed champion. Seriously speaking though, Butler will be just pulverized against Inoue.
True, it seems that everyone's goal right now is to be a unified champion so somewhat this is good for boxing. That is the last remaining that he hasn't got and unfortunately, Butler is standing his way. Just it might be better if that is Casimero who still has that belt, but whatever. Maybe in the future, when both moves up in a higher division, we will finally see this two finally getting into the ring. Although Casimero is not getting any younger as well and so I doubt that he can win against a prime Inoue.
