2301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 08, 2022, 09:56:18 PM
Based up on this link
Link
Donaire, the Filipino four-division champion, weighed in at 53.4 kg (117.7 lbs), while Inoue, the Japanese knockout artist, weighed in at 53.5 kg (117.9 lbs).

So in terms of weight then its almost the same, so i dont see any relevance on having excuse of their weights. It is really just
the body of Donaire is bit slimmer compared into their first fight.
There should be no more excuses as we all witnessed the unstoppable Inoue and we should give credit to him. Donaire is a good boxer too, it’s just that his opponent are more prepared against him and more skilled boxer. Still hoping to see Donaire to fight again, or maybe he will decide to retire already. This is a sad result for me, but that’s fine because Donaire still gave so much pride to our country, he’s a legend for me.
Yes, we give credit to Inoue for stopping Donaire, just the second time that he has been knock out, first is when he try to move up in weight, Nickolas Walters demolishes Nonito. But this is more brutal than his first knock out, Inoue is a true monster  and no one can stop him, not even Casimero I believed. Butler? nah, the same, he will get knock out as well if ever they fight. All of us are sad, but we have to a face the reality that Nonito is really not in his prime and if he wants to continue to fight, maybe he will be the stepping stone for younger generation.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments force DEXs to comply with KYC/AML laws? on: June 08, 2022, 12:32:23 PM
Of course, governments or regulatory bodies around the world have been targeting exchanges specially CEX and it seems that they are successful. But with the Luna debacle, it just gave them another reason to chase DEX. However, it is still how they are going to implement it as we all know that it's not or at least hard to because of DEX protocols. So it shape everything, as DEX should be anonymous by nature.
2303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future prospects for bitcoin on: June 07, 2022, 10:27:01 PM
The question is, will the dollar strengthen simply because the Fed is raising the interest rate? I doubt that. But either way a strong dollar does not actually mean a weak Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not in direct competition with the dollar because it is not fiat. Whether the dollar is weak or strong, Bitcoin still serves its purpose. Bitcoin is the decentralized money that it will always be regardless of the dollar's progress or regress. So to those who want to get out of the fiat system, Bitcoin is always strong regardless of the dollar's strength.
History tells us that is not always the case, on the contrary it will weaken the dollar in the next couple of years and then they will have to adjust the rate again. But we can't blame the government, this is the after effects of covid pandemic.

Bitcoin could be the alternative, not a competition for dollar. This notion of competition come from the bankers themselves because they are afraid of bitcoin and crypto in general. But we all know that bitcoin can be used just like money and store of value, it has many uses for us so it's really a good option.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the beggars in cryptocurrency casinos on: June 07, 2022, 09:57:53 PM
It's really up to you whether you want to give them tips or not.  If you do then expect that they are going to abuse you and will always ask from you to send them tips. It's ok if you are  winning, but what if you're not? For sure it will annoy or and pisses you off because obviously you're on a bad mood that night. So for me it's better not to give them in the first place. And in the same time, you will also not going to do that as well.
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Coin (BNB) Is Down 10% on Bad News Spree, But It Might Fall Even More on: June 07, 2022, 01:42:39 PM
Not just Binance, any exchange or token back up by anyone should suffer from a bad news, and this could be the worst, specially coming from US SEC. So it is expected that it will go down and now that we are in a bear market, it will just magnified. So we will see how will they cooperate with authorities, if they think that they don't have anything to hide or shield then good. But as I have said, we are in a bear market so even without this bad news, the price will simply go down. And the thing is, it brings down the rest of the market, like BTC when it's having a good run to $31k++ and now down at $29,xxx again.
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 07, 2022, 12:31:19 PM
Inoue wins the match by referee stoppage Inoe cannot keep up with the barrage of punches the start of the end comes on Donaire's first knockdown in the last second of the fight, and Inoue ends the fight with accurate punches to the head.
I thought the fight take longer but Inoue has better preparation and strong legs, I guess it's time for Donaire to hang up his gloves this time.
Yes, Inoue is really way above everyone else in this division, that sharp and accurate punches. You can see Donaire's frustrations as he work his ass off leading to the fight. But I guess the better fighter won tonight. I don't think anyone can stand a chance against Inoue right now. He is really a monster and still improving as he gain experience. Kudos to Donaire though, even at this age, he still try to fight a very dangerous boxer.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 07, 2022, 11:49:22 AM

The pressure should be on the Celtics side, they are at home but they are facing a good team in the Finals and they just lost big in game 2. And Warriors wants to take this one and bring back the favor on them, stealing a game in home court.
They didn't lose, they got blown out. The 3rd quarter was brutal for Boston getting outscored 35-14. The warriors showed no mercy. I'm hoping for game 3 to be the same way.
Right, they really showed the Celtics what they are capable of in the 3rd and 4th quarter. And even if they are in the big lead, the Warriors continue to score and lead by double digits.

But in game 3, it will be in Boston Garden, so it's hard to see them going the same unless Steph, Klay and Poole combined for a massive offense that will sink the Celtics. But this might be a close game.
2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 07, 2022, 11:09:30 AM
Canelo is getting slow which is slower than age GGG if you do see his fight against Bivol then you could really tell that this man is overrated. Sloppy fighting performance
and i would still make out some bets for GGG if you do tend to compare both on their recent matches then you could clearly tell and say on who do have the upper hand.
Im not on being bitter but you could really tell on how they do fight.
It's just one fight, and you can't say that Canelo is slow then, besides that is a weight that probably most of us here would agree, that it's not his weight class. But I would agree that GGG has a good chance because he is extra motivate for a revenge and it shows that Canelo is vulnerable, like what Bivol did. So he should watch that tape as the blue print is already on how to defeat Canelo.
2309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and actions to raise it on: June 07, 2022, 10:33:49 AM
This is the time to look around and ask: What else can be done to sustain BTC growth? How to increase interest in BTC? Everything possible is already being done on the stock exchange. Where are the other growth points? Growth points in increasing demand and interest. Experienced people and beginners love to play. Therefore, growth points can be in expanding people's awareness and offering new tools.

I think it's time to make websites with prices in different currencies: dollars, euros and crypto. It seems to me that this will contribute to the popularization of cryptocurrencies. Strengthening the popularity of cryptocurrencies would lead to an increase in their rate, to more lively trading, and as a result, to strengthening the status of cryptocurrencies.
Nah, unfortunately this is not a good approach, I know it's painful to see how slow the adoption is. But remember the market is barely 10 years old, so it doesn't need to be compare to stocks and other traditional markets that has existed for decades already. Let crypto grow in a natural course and process, just consider yourself lucky because you have been here as compare to others whose chances to have bitcoin is slim.
2310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish market continues? on: June 06, 2022, 09:40:37 PM
The last bear season runs for almost 3 years before the price started to pick up,

Though, I'm not going to believe about history repeats itself but still, I was seeing there is no such easy recovery to be done. Yes, we could expect for months or a year to see the market rallying again. I could presume that we got this scenario till the end of this year.
At least lets say that this will be the scenario at the end of 2022. I know it's really sound bad for everyone, but then again, we've get over the hump the last bear market (for those who have been here), 2018 until after the block halving in 2020. So that's really long, but hey we are still standing was able to survived that long bearish trend. So there's no difference at all this bear cycle again. The same mentally and mindset and the same strategy so that we can be strong and pull through.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 06, 2022, 09:04:35 PM
Update, final weigh-in:

Donaire: 117.8 lbs.
Inoue: 118 lbs.

Here is the video, although the quality is not that good,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUySQ_25Yno

At least there's no drama of either one of them not making weight. Of course, both of them will look drain specially Donaire because of his age but it doesn't mean that it will have an effect on him on fight night. He will simply rehydrate, just like what he did after the weigh-in. He simply sip-in some drinks to replenish his body with vitamins and minerals.

Good news, so there's no hindrance and we will be seeing this fight tomorrow.
This fight is sure fun to watch, I hope there are people who would share free live streaming for this particular fight.

for those who know about the premium PPV if there is, please tell me how to avail of it in case there's no free streaming.
They got there weight down the T so yeah, there will be no hindrance whatsoever and they are ready and will go for a war tomorrow, (but everyone should check the time, as the fight will be in Japan).

Inoue looks sharp though and it seems that if we based on the body, Inoue has the advantage. But Donaire looks good at well for his age. Inoue might have the advantage here, but Donaire's is more focused and will go and avenge his defeat in this rematch for sure.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 06, 2022, 12:28:51 PM
Jordan Poole really explode in game 2, unfortunately I wasn't able to place bet in live as I woke up late and I really regret not placing a bet ahead. I was looking forward on the game 3 now I really think that GSW will not let them go again with another win and finish the series as early as possible, overall I am really confident that the GSW will going to win this 2022 NBA Finals.
No worries, plenty of games ahead of us.

I guess it's a wake up call for them what happen in game 1, they are that confident entering the 4th quarter but was surprised how the Celtics shots the ball very well as they didn't defend the perimeter. In game 2, was the same story, they take a huge lead, but this time, they know now to take care of it in the 4th and didn't allow the Celtics to close the game and give them another crack to win and upset them.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Something Like This Happen To You on: June 06, 2022, 11:35:52 AM
I think most gamblers have experience this one. And it's really depend on how they are going to take it. For me, will try to play again and see where my luck ends. If it slots and then I got a bonus then see if I can have a good rounds. If let's say card games like Baccarat or Poker, will continue to play and stop when I lose. As a gamblers we love this kind of streak and I doubt that anyone here are going to stop playing.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 06, 2022, 10:58:44 AM
It was an easy win for nadal against ruud it was obvious since we have seen his performance against djokovic and with alcaraz gone no one could've stoped him but still a 3 0 win is not what fans want on a rolland garros final, congrats to nadal it was well deserved.

Honestly, Zverev was completely equal in those 2 sets he played against Nadal and that he didn't get injured, who knows how that match would end.
Nadal was very lucky in that match and I think that Cilic would be a much harder opponent in the final.
Yes, perhaps it was pure luck on his side, Zverev beat Alcaraz, unfortunately he injured himself against Nadal and forced to surrender. And most of us says that Djokovic vs Nadal is the finals and that's what we witnessed when they fought. After that, it was easy final match for Nadal, 3 sets win against Ruud to win his 14th title here and becoming the older winner at 36.
2315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 03, 2022, 11:01:31 PM
Horford had a huge contribution to Celtics' win last night for certain. I haven't seen him being this much effective as for scoring three pointers for a long time period until this game. I like this about Celtics very much because they are playing very good as a team. When the main scorers have a poor day there are another alternative players to contribute more than they do normally. Actually it started to be the same for Warriors too but they lost this game because of a serious decrease in their performance in the fourth quarter.

They were not able to trade baskets in the 4th quarter. Even if Horford is making 3 point shots, it's very obvious that the defense of the Celtics killed them, look at their scoring per quarter.

1st-32
2nd-22
3rd -38
4th -16
This is the first time that we've seen Warriors not making a huge points in the 4th quarter. Usually that is their strong suit, winning the 3rd and 4th. But this time, they were outscored in the last even though they have a good lead entering the 4th quarter. This might cause an alarm from Steve Kerr, but knowing that they are ex-champions and knows where to rise, for sure they wanted to bounce back in game 2 because it is going to be in their backyard.
2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 03, 2022, 10:01:45 PM
Well, that's all that we assume but we'll never know what to happen until it's able to happen and he wins this upcoming match. Just a few days to go and we'll see the greatness of these two.
It's possible that he just wants to leave a legacy if ever Donaire wins so his retirement is being ended by a win and tie while taking the belt out of Inoue.

Donaire's legacy has been cemented already, win or lose against Inoue. Of course it will add greatness to his resume if he beat Inoue. But it doesn't change a thing that in the last decade or so he is one of the best, holding championship belt from 4 different weight classes. He is even in the record for being a champion in 3 consecutive decades, 2000', 2010', 2020. So that alone put his name as one of greatest fighter we have. Filipino Flash, with one if not the best left hook in boxing even up to this day.
He's aiming for that and it's like his pride will be stepped in if he losses to him for the 2nd time around. Well, we're going to see how he's going to beat it as it's like a promise to himself and not to everyone that he'll win this time. We're all counting on him and we want him to beat Inoue and alas, they're tie and both had experienced the belt. No doubt about his records and the past but this time, it's different from there because he's beaten for the first match and this is a rematch that he shouldn't miss because if he losses, no more rematch.
Donaire has indeed a lot of accomplishments as a fighter. But perhaps this will be the biggest stage for him to win against a very tough opponent in Inoue.

He said in his interviews that he admits his mistakes on the first fight and promise that he won't the same mistakes again. Not sure what those mistakes are, but maybe he is too reluctant to engage before he is afraid that he will be caught coming inside with an overhand right from Inoue. But now Donaire is extra motivate and will take this challenge and go for a win.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 03, 2022, 09:36:00 PM
I can't imagine Ruud is going to win this. Nadal is just too good and also a lot to experience. He cannot be beaten here in Paris, and certainly not by Ruud. Although Ruud is of course not a bad player at all. Still the top 10 in the world. But Nadal also knocked out Djokovic in a big way. It would be a huge sensation if Ruud wins this tournament, but I think the chances are very small. Too bad for Zverev, of course.
Looking at the current odds, Ruud is 4:1 underdog against Nadal. So that is a big line coming from Nadal to win. So I would agree that Casper is going to really play hard and flawless if he wanted to upset the best clay court player we have seen. But Maybe Ruud can win at least a set here, I reckon. Zverev though is just unlucky, he leads both set at 4-2 but can't convert it specially the 1st set.
2318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish market continues? on: June 03, 2022, 09:10:20 PM
Bitcoin is artificially raised and deflated in a narrow range. I think there could be a rebound very soon, because a lot of indicators say so. There were similar situations in 2018 and 2020, now it has been 2 years since the last dump too. The bad news because of the LUNA scam has affected the market negatively. Now it is left to consolidate and the road to the top is open.
More likely though, this is similar to 2018, which is obviously a bear market, so I don't think that we will rebound soon. Just probably in the range of $30k'ish for sometime.

The Luna scam effect has been forgotten in my opinion, yes, lots of investors lost their money, but we've gotten to the point that we have move already from that debacle and no longer has that effect on bitcoin investors. Still the war and the inflation that really put a dent on us.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market 2022 | Back to the Bearish cycle: 2018-2020 year? on: June 02, 2022, 11:43:47 PM
Does this mark the start of a protracted bearish cycle. Like in the 2018-2020 season?
4 year cycle was a real thing. I can't say if this is proacted the bearish trend but it's a bit different compared with what happened in 2018 - 2020. I know that if people are feeling frustated caused by the bearish market but they were not even making the right point about this.
This time the bearish market is also being supported by the very bad global condition where the inflation is happening everywhere. The war is still continue and various virus that was coming.
The fundamental of market is also following the fundamental of global. Everything gets even expensive.
We should take the bearish market very positive. I mean if you have the last bear market, then you will know that a lot of solid projects goes down. Like Ethereum for example, went below $100 but in the bull run of 2021, it went as high as $4k. So the bear market is a perfect opportunity to all of us to fill our wallets.

As for the cycle, so far, it holds true so nothing to complain about. As bitcoin halving happens every 4 year cycle, and as it is the catalyst for a a bull run, then for now we can conclude that after the halving in 2024, we might see another massive bull run. So this is the time to buy more and wait and hold.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 02, 2022, 10:42:14 PM
[..snio..]

Gervonta Davis got a big break with Mayweather Promotion and I think he is surely on the right track if he is trailing Floyd Mayweather into his greatness, that is what I think by managing his own, he can surely become very versatile on his own, but I think he owes his popularity to his promotion and trainers in what he become now, but right now, after defeating Romero, in my opinion, Davis will be lifted in a new environment and now that he is out of Mayweather promotions, there is no doubt that he is in a different league now, and I don't really expect a rematch anytime soon despite the claims of Romero exposing him, and got all the rounds I highly doubted that,
I think he acknowledges what Mayweather promotions has done in his career. He trained with the best and they really help him to where he is right now, no doubt about it. But as a free agent, yes, he will become more versatile, can dictate the negotiations in his own term. He won't change any of his corners soon, including his trainers. They have build a camaraderie, even his mother is involved and hands-on. Everyone saw what happened, and I think we could agree that a rematch is not needed.

He can handle himself as a free agent he is a great boxer people want to see his fights he will have no restrictions, and he can negotiate with other promotions, the one thing that these promotions are doing is they want to keep everything in the house as they do on UFC, where all fights are done on fighters under on promotion, this what prevents great boxers like Davis to fight the best from other promotions.

Exactly, just like what Bob Arum did before, all in house fight for his fighters, thus preventing us to see great fights until it's too late and that Pacman is no longer in his prime.. And then cut him lose when he lost. So hopefully when Davis goes on his own, he will chase fighter like Garcia who has been calling him several times, Haney or even Shakur Stevenson if he ever wants to go up to 135 lbs.
I agree with both of you, time to get out of Mayweather shadows and put this name as Gervonta Davis and not like copying his mentor. Sure he can set up a fight to whatever he wants, Garcia or even Haney because that two might also be in his radar and it's a win-win for him and I think that he will be the favorite whoever he chooses to fight.
