I wasn't expecting that as well and against Monaspa, Old G goes home and lost on having the chance of going to division 2.
But I guess there are still some other chances if they really want to proceed to division 2 and then division 1, they have to compete again to the open and closed qualifiers of the next DPC season.
I just feel bad that they've lost but it's okay, we're fans of them but it's also good to see that there are some other teams that have qualified and that only means, there are other strong teams in the region. Yeah, their region is the strongest even unknown names are strong teams.

They can still try on the next tour. They just have to polish their game because we have to admit, they are a bit rusty. They said this is not a serious team, but I am willing to bet they still want to qualify for DIV 1.
Yeah, it's just words that they've said it's not a serious team and they are just passing time. But the possibility is there that each of them thinks of what if they become qualified for division 1.
And the run is no longer fun because they're seriously hitting and beating every team that they're matching. Well, that's a different story for sure but let's see if they'll still stick together for the next tour.

I also often think that FTX and the number of scam cases are plans financed by haters, as we know that at this time the enemy of cryptocurrencies is very much, they have large capital support and usually they use the moment when the market is lethargic, this will make many users frustrated and leave cryptocurrencies.
I don't think that it's part of their plan, they're just capitalizing those momentums for their own agenda. They're anticipating that there will be some falls again and again and that's where they're initiating their plan like the regulations to protect the people from possible frauds and scams. Well, they're too caring about that but we also know that there are other things that they're pushing aside from it. So, it's not just all about caring but there's a hidden agenda that they're trying to build upon from the trust that people have got for crypto.

Oh my, Old G lost two consecutive games against Ooredoo Thunders. OT has got the first slot in division 2. While Old G still has the 2nd chance to get the slot but has to wait for the winner of the match, Monaspa and Team Blink.
They shouldn't be confident in whoever wins that match as OThunders have taken two games against the game. That was so close for them but good thing there's a lower bracket final for the qualification of division 2.

I did not expect that to happen. When I see Topson, Notail, and Ceb in the lineup I already assume they will dominate the closed qualifier, but they did not.

I am watching the Finals of the Lower Bracket now between OLG and Monaspa. Monaspa still has the upperhand in the first game, but OLG is slowly catching up. They are quite even. Let's see if Old G will be able to qualify in Division 2 though the lower bracket.

2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about these hyped projects for 2023? on: December 23, 2022, 01:17:40 PM
I think Apecoin will start to face its drop and will be out on the top ranking because of what its major project BAYC might face against SEC.
Just take it for example when XRP faced a lawsuit by SEC, even if we've been through the bull run, XRP stayed stagnant and never broke back to its former ATH. And that's why I think Apecoin will also have the same fate if this thing against SEC and its main project BAYC will not be solved.
If that would pass and SEC ruled that Bored apes would be securities, it would blow my mind. Because that would mean that most likely every nft project would be security. Well maybe not free mints like crypto punks but most of them anyway. And it would be even more stupid then ruling that pokemon cards are securities.

I haven't seen any BAYC advertisement during the sale where they would even hint that there would be profits or that this would be a way about making money and that's what SEC is looking for.
Imho they started from a wrong project. There are ton of questionable nft sales out there that wouldn't need as much research.
There really are questionable projects in the market these days and during the bull run. SEC will be reviewing most of them and they'll be after them.
That's why as for the BAYC and Apecoin, we know that both of them are connected to each other so a bang of bad news for the other, hits the other and that's why I think Apecoin would be out of the choice if we're still talking about hype and pumps for next year.
Also, the pump for these projects were done and we commonly see projects that have pumped already would unlikely to repeat by next year or so.

DPC WEU Closed Qualifier Upper Bracket finals are about to start. The match is between OLG and Ooredoo Thunders. Old G odds is at 1.30 and Ooredoo is at 3.30. I think Old G has an upper hand but the odds are not enticing to bet on. I think the handicap -1.5 maps with odds of 2.0 is a better line to bet on.

2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to bet in e-sports? on: December 22, 2022, 10:52:05 AM
I have never tried betting in e-sports. I know that a lot of you guys do a lot of betting in e-sports and would like to hear your opinion on that. Is it worth it? And what are the best places for that?
You should try betting in esports and I think that you're also a gamer just like most of us here. We're not just gamers but we're also bettors and those that have a passion for gaming, it's the same as betting on the same thing.
With Duelbits, there are a lot of esports that are listed on their bookie, coming from Dota 2, CSGO, Valorant, R6, Warcraft 3 and other esports games that you have the same interest.
2328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: December 22, 2022, 04:15:31 AM
Is family or health challenge enough reason to?
For those that don't have HMO or insurance, it'll really be a way for them to be forced to sell or some sudden accident that huge money will be needed and they just can't pull any of their savings because there's no any.
And their savings have been put into bitcoin, so that reason makes sense to sell at that needed time because that's literally their savings and it's just sad if the market isn't that good by that time. I have done it before when I needed a budget to pay a mortgage and I'm in between during that time, happy because I'm able to pay the mortgage but also sad because I have to sell.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 21, 2022, 10:23:43 PM
That's a good idea if someone comes up with a merge of screenshots and what chatgpt ai said for the predictions like in sporting events and let's see if it's too intelligent enough to be afraid of.
Maybe another gambler developer might think of something new where it'll be useful for the bettors. But I don't think that they'll ever come up to that point where they'll have almost perfect accuracy. They can predict, no problem with that but accuracy will be the matter.
2330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid future losses in crypto on: December 21, 2022, 09:27:15 PM
Diversify your investment
I know some crypto enthusiasts will say most of your money and investment should be in crypto because crypto is the future ( well I believe crypto is not just the future but the present) but I am not of that school of thought. There are other things that are what investing it aside crypto. Among all the investments available today, crypto is on the list of the most volatile. While this can lead to heavy profit, it can also lead to heavy losses.
This is a good strategy but not all diversifications are good. People are taking it literally when you tell them to diversify and many are doing it wrongly. They diversify based on what they've just thought of without properly doing research so, they ended up buying all of those shitcoins even if they haven't done DYOR on it. On your case about diversifying in other investments, it's actually a good one but you really have to know first where you're investing.
2331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 21, 2022, 08:24:19 PM
Does completing bonus is still possible and profitable or it's just like chasing the wind?
It depends on how you foresee it. If you think that the wagering requirement isn't a matter to you and you'll just enjoy it along the way then that's sure worth it to do.
But if you're worried because you're gambling and you think that the casino might always win with your wagering then you just have to stop looking and aiming for the bonuses and just gamble the way it is. So that you won't have that guilty feeling that you'll never win against the house while trying to reach the wagering requirement.
2332  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit not paying out YoFarm Rewards. on: December 21, 2022, 07:28:02 PM
They've known for having years of wallet maintenance and still, it's not fixed. So, having that payout for any feature they've got for their customers. If it's getting an error, they'll just leave it for a long time and you're lucky to witness it if they actually fix it but most likely, don't expect them to have it fixed so fast. Not just that, they're also known for having the poorest support to their customers and that's why, it's only you that will help you there and not them even if it's their own exchange.
2333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 20, 2022, 10:22:39 PM
There's this thread that's also asked about PVP esports games and if it's possible for the casinos to have them. But if can't be found on any casino, you can start your own community doing this type of betting and gaming.
Now, the question starts with how can you be sure that someone won't have that automated responses to their attacks and counter-attacks against other opponents by installing some software that it can be done possibly.
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few Days To Christmas - How Are You Preparing? on: December 20, 2022, 09:19:31 PM
It is okay to spend bitcoin if you really want to, that's how it should be for us to spend it. I've already bought my stuff and for the kids that might ask me for some money but it isn't that much.
I've got a fewer budget than several years ago, you know the pandemic and inflation thing. It's different for this year but I just hope that whoever receives these things from me will still be happy despite how low-valued they are and I hope they will understand my situation. Because I've experienced giving before and a few complained on how few I've gave and that urged me to stopped being generous.
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slow down if you want to recover your losses on: December 20, 2022, 11:02:57 AM
It's like the known tip of "take it easy". As you slow down, it's not all about giving up but giving up is also another step forward for someone who's been into losses.
But in your case, if you've taken your time and took easy as you slowed down the process of taking back your losses. It's something to take into account that you really have to take one step at a time and don't be too furious if you're on a losing streak. The timing will be in your favor if you don't take things hastily.
2336  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kevin O'leary vs CZ on: December 20, 2022, 08:36:29 AM
Kevin is known for having some bad investments despite he's a good talker and if he's attacking CZ and defending FTX then there's really the loyalty part of him probably paid to talk and protect FTX.
Well, CZ is also at his fault but he has the right to protect himself too and point out who he thinks is telling lies, so both of them will just have to say whatever they feel. At the end of this, this drama is clout chasing and gathering attention for them, still good exposure for both as usual.

I personally am not a big fan of Kevin's but not CZ's either. He has quite the centralized business in a decentralized world, which is quite weird if you ask me  Grin >
Well, we all knew about how CZ's business is going on. He's talking somehow with information that would give the idea to those that are just buyers and holders but don't want to understand some important thing in getting into crypto.

Kevin is known for having some bad investments despite he's a good talker
A good talker or a good manipulator? Spokesmen!  Grin
Both I guess? Hehe. I've watched a couple episodes of him in Shark Tank and as well as interviews, that's my impression to him.
2337  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: December 19, 2022, 09:18:22 PM
A game is fun to play when there are a lot of people involved in it. Because what makes it more fun is the discussion and the conversation that's being made while playing that specific game.
The network is being made and the experience becomes different because it's making everyone involved on it and there's gotta be a lot of talks being made and it's like an unstoppable chit-chat which really makes it so fun. So, it's not just the game itself but the possible things that can happen upon playing a game.
2338  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: December 19, 2022, 08:20:59 PM
I think ads play an important part here. They go into unknown casinos despite the reputable ones already there. They've just clicked and seen it from an advert that they see while browsing the web. I'm not also gonna risk some money there and if there are people that say that it's a legitimate one and they've just used it then that's a good review for OP to have a reference since that's what he's looking for. But as for me, I don't want to get into the casinos that I don't really know.
Same here, There are actually scam casinos who are doing advertisement here which is the well known 1xbit. They pay good to their campaign members compared to other signature campaign but at the end it is a mere scam casino that is trying to lure gamblers here which isn't effective in my opinion. There are a ton of thread here that is asking for legitimate casino, It is easy to browse that and make it a reference in choosing a casino. I would personally choose the proven and tested casino compared to the ones who are a bit shady but offering a alluring promotion.
That's a proven method for those that are looking for a good casino, they just have to find the ones that have been proven and tested by many gamblers and by the community.
Those ads that are appearing, not just in signature campaigns or bounties, they're easy to be seen by those gamblers already who have visited other casinos as well as the newbies that have been searching for one. It is the algorithm of most search engines these days and they'll be targeting you and sending you more ads about it.

2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 18, 2022, 09:07:30 PM
Even if they won't show finances, the hackers are already there, they're the apple of the eye of those cons the same goes with exchanges. Wherever the money is, they're also there.
And knowing that casinos got a lot of capital or bankroll, they're not just having the easiest security and protection for their system. They're investing more with security so that even if they're targeted, still they have all the protection that will push away the hackers.
Strengthening security is really just a standard thing since its true that they are most targetted by hackers or to those people who are really tending to exploit out these places considering that they've really having
those huge funds because of this kind of industry which it isnt really no brainer that owners would really be that serious on making their security to be that strong and wont be able to be easily get
hacked or exploited. We know though that security isnt really that perfect but it is really just somewhat understandable on how they should really be putting up emphasis and importance
in this regards.Hackers are just lurking in the shadows and just waiting up for the right opportunity on attacking on which one is vulnerable.
They might have perfect security but you can see with the reputable casinos that they're strengthening it because it's a must for their business. They just can't continue without having any means of protection from hackers because they're always targeted as they've got funds inside their operations where it is looking good and attractive to them. I think it's a good topic to talk about casino security and if they've got a team behind it through their operations or they're just having the people who work for it through a third party.
