1321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bigspins.net PvP crypto gambling on: August 05, 2023, 12:18:35 PM
Coming soon
While we're waiting for it, much better if you have made some interesting inputs regarding bigspins and why people of the forum should tune in with your launching soon.

You told the forum about your project on the month of February and it is 5 months now,you have still finished your project.
Best of luck.
Not finished yet. It seems a long preparation and that's not going to be anything interesting anymore in my sight if the development have been that long and during that time he was looking for investors.
1322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deciding Between Mining and Direct Investment on: August 05, 2023, 10:34:40 AM
If you can do both and if your budget isn't limited, choose to do both. But for people like me that has budget constraints, I'll just choose to buy and hold. Considering the electricity cost and consumption, you're aware of how much you'll be taking and how much will be the operational cost upon doing it. I think for miners, it's not just all about the profit but of course, it has the biggest portion and reason on why they do that. So, you help the network more secure through your miners and that's a contribution that you've got in your mind that you're one of those folks that helps to maintain it.

The Lakers giving Anthony Davis $186,000,000 with a three year extension seems a bit insane given how much time he has missed. He’d better start staying healthy for the amount of money they’re giving him. 62 million dollars when he only plays about 50 games in a good year seems like like overpaying. I sure hope that contract doesn’t come back to bite them.
It's like they're having him the typical Lakers player so that they've got an identity through him. But with the hype that other players getting with huge contracts, I guess that the management has just happened to offer him somewhat on this bracket so that he won't move to another team and won't entertain any other deal that's surrounding him. In crucial times especially when they're approaching the playoffs despite having an injury, when he enters the court, he performs well which he should really be doing.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase CEO Says SEC Told It To Delist Everything But Bitcoin: Report on: August 05, 2023, 07:38:33 AM
The SEC is just the tool.... there are higher powers behind them, controlling them like a puppet.  Roll Eyes
This means that the people that are behind them are the ones that are more heavily invested in Bitcoin. I think I like that because a smallholder like me is hoping to see them ride that wave that they're creating. And we're noticing on how they're moving like crazy when they're chasing an exchange, a project, and deciding whether it's a security or not. But in summing up this statement they've said, everyone is gonna agree that it's best to just have Bitcoin on them but Coinbase as a business, they will not let it slip the opportunity of making a profit from other coins/tokens by just listing it.
Yeah, no joke, of course! You're arguing that the big whales, er, Bitcoin developers, are the ones with the biggest stakes? I've got it now. And you're looking for a good wave to surf on, like? That is the attitude!

They certainly move quickly, dont they? Its such a roller-coaster chasing an exchange, a project, and wondering if its a security or not. The real sting, though, is that while its nice to have Bitcoin, Coinbase is a company, right? Man, they want profits. By listing additional coins, they wont forfeit the possibility to make money from those coins. I think they did well.

So, to sum up, Coinbase is opportunistic, Bitcoin is excellent, and smallholders like us are just trying to ride the wave, right?
That seems to be it. We're all riding what's currently with the waves now but as soon as we've figured out that Bitcoin is the future and it will definitely shine, we want to hold on to it. While with these companies, puppets, people, and behind them. We don't care about them, we only care with what they do and what's going to be the actions they make to the market because that's where we're going to capitalize and decide our actions based on what they do.

For Dota 2 people here, we're seeing left and right roster changes from different regions. There's this sad moment in the Chinese region but it's just all about the retirement[1] of a known player there, Paparazi. This is an era for those players, bettors and fans.

1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My new favorite betting method. on: August 04, 2023, 05:09:17 PM
It really is a martingale. But this is gambling, whichever method is working for you and is effective then keep on playing with that. Maybe this time it works but who knows what will happen next if it will still. I'm interested to know on how many satoshis you'll be able to reach with this method and how huge/low your losses will be and the same goes for the potential profit that you'll do. Well, with methods like this. I just prefer to do my own method of just setting an amount for this day, win or lose and if it's all gone I'm done.
1328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is AI in crypto a game-changer or just another hype? on: August 04, 2023, 03:20:36 PM
Honestly, AI isn't just there for the first time since the bull run or by just last year or this year just because chatgpt became popular. It's been there for years and the adoption that it's getting was quick because of how the mass media helped its way. But going back and relating to the market, that means that bots (ai) have been there for a long time. And if someone wants to get passive income through trading, that's not gonna happen through ai, as a trader you still need to manually check and do the trade for yourself.
This is the part people should realize, AI has been developed for many years now, technically speaking we could say that it has been developed for decades as well, we have never been this close and there was a breakthrough and that is why it's more popular right now. It wasn't this public before, but it got more and more public.

If anyone remembers, there were AI chatbots back in the day, you would make it say things and it would develop based on what it learns, but people didn't let it learn real things and made it like nazi or something as a "fun" thing, to mock it basically. This time it's a bit more closed down publicly from central companies to develop it, but public to use it and that way it does pretty decently and I bet it will get even better.
Right, it's been there for more than a decade. Chatbots are literally AI and people aren't just looking at it as one because of the branding success of what chatgpt and other companies that have an AI project and product.

Honestly, AI isn't just there for the first time since the bull run or by just last year or this year just because chatgpt became popular. It's been there for years and the adoption that it's getting was quick because of how the mass media helped its way. And if someone wants to get passive income through trading, that's not gonna happen through ai, as a trader you still need to manually check and do the trade for yourself.
ChatGPT is without a doubt the best chatbot that has existed, however an AI dedicated exclusively to trade the markets has been on the making for a very long time, however we do not hear about it as trading and investing firms keep their research under strict secret as they know that any advantage they may gain can be the difference between making a fortune or not.

It is because of this so many talented people work at those firms, as they need all kind of people developing mathematical models and improving their AI to keep themselves competitive against other financial firms.
Yup, those bots that we've used for trading. They've been there long time ago and it's not just one but many of them. Only a few became recognized and maybe somehow that only a few traders gets to have the advantage of using those.

Ceb wants to play and that's why Taiga is out. Too bad that Old G won't be having Ceb on this qualifier while technically, it's still OG. I wonder if Topson is going to be playing for some teams on this one together with ana again. Another news is that Xepher and 343 will be with Blacklist International as their head and assistant coach. BLR is investing a lot in these qualifiers.
Even with Ceb in the lineup, the Taiga change felt unnecessary because the other two support players (Chu and Misha) already moved to the coaching position.

After the Old G squad somewhat fell apart with Ceb moving to OG and Noone out of the roster, I could see that announcement happening together with Jerax, as they still need a fourth position.
Honestly, I'd love to see some reunion of Jerax, Topson and ana. I still see ana playing good pub and the same goes with topson. I just don't know with jerax or he's all good and set being a coach just like what he did with EG before and also for Team Liquid. Too many good players are free this season and I am sure that we'll see some good combination of them, it just didn't worked with Old G but I think they'll still participate.

It's good that BLR finally got a decent coach, and we'll see if it makes a difference in the qualifiers.
People thought that it's gonna be henrydota but who's that? I'd get those that have pro experience and not just one but two.
1330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying food with BTC on: August 03, 2023, 04:18:01 PM
Do you know of any restaurants and/or supermarkets in the US and abroad that sells food for BTC? It would be nice to avoid Fiat altogether and use BTC to buy our life necessities.
Not from there but will share my experience a bit. As much as I want to forcefully use some of my btc into buying things, I've only seen a few merchants and they're not that big business but only stalls in some malls. So, if you can't find anything just like mine then browse over online shops or restaurants that does delivery and maybe from there you'll find a shop that accepts BTC.

The only place I could think of is El Salvador with its acceptance of Bitcoin as legal tender. It's likely every merchant and business there accepts BTC as payment method. I don't know about the US and developed countries. Could someone enlighten me? Thanks in advance. Smiley
That's true and despite I am not from there, I've seen a couple of videos where you can even pay Mcdonalds with bitcoin.

As the TI qualifiers are about to happen soon, left and right roster changes and goodbyes have already been said and announced by the teams.

After the Riyadh Masters, we're starting to see a couple of teams make changes to their roster and the hottest one is probably Taiga being benched. I surely thought if they were going to make a change before the qualifiers, it'd be DM instead of Taiga.

1332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is AI in crypto a game-changer or just another hype? on: August 03, 2023, 11:26:36 AM
Game changer? I used to hear that a lot as a description but no way, these AI projects are not game changers. We're in a market that keeps on changing a lot every time a season dries off. And if something new comes out again, they'll say that it's another game changer and the cycle goes on until you'll get used to that term which will be used by more projects in the future. I am not even sure if there's going to be an end for these cycles because they just keep on coming and reinvents something new.

Bro game changer can be because trading is not for everyone but Investment opportunities are widely available for everyone in the context if AI really gets proper implementation as always being on the same point what I had previously it really needs time, it can really change the game for those who want the passive income from the trading because AI will make way faster and effective technical analysis for the reading patterns will the piece of cake and etc luxuries the new ones can enjoy.

But the point is with the consequences when everyone will use Ai and bots they influence market emotion will get reep out which is one of the major consequences leading to a nonvolatile and sideways-moving market because there are bots and AI with the same behavior driving the market. So AI is good and ad in our ways but for now we don't need to are about it. On-time can discuss it in a more precise way.

Micke is a strong carry provided he had a good start, or their supports are having a good time roaming around the map and making space for the man. Unfortunately for him, TS didn't want to give up even an inch of the map to them and it resulted to a lot of catastrophe.
Team Spirit just know how to counter and was able to read how micke moves in the map. And every opportunity that they see him, they're not wasting that and that's how they made him look like nothing on that grand finals.

This is what gave TS the edge: map control. It became too scary for anyone to move around the map for a while because TL's heroes are squishy, and can easily be picked off from the map.
I agree and they're just so good at it. And even they're not having a good start, they still manage to at least prolong the game by controlling the map and giving space to yatoro.

1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 02, 2023, 05:30:31 PM
This is cool and fun actually only if you've got those friends that you really trust. I know that most of those attempts will fail as hitting the lottery is like once in a blue moon. But let's get to the point of what if you actually won, the prize should be split equally on how much you've shared on that bet. I think there's even a place that has done this and most of the town folks have won an incredible amount. I can't remember where it actually happened but it's real and truly fun to know.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 02:50:33 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.
I hold a few of them just for the sake of doing some random investing in these types of tokens. I am not expecting a lot from it and I'm ready to lose it if the market is stirred up. I am not sure if I'd say it's doing good or not but in my portfolio balance, I am currently at a loss with it.
And as you've said in your other post, I am holding BNB and that's just it. Whatever comes and whatever happens on it, I'll just lightly going to accept it since that's what I think is the right reaction to what's happening on it lately. Maybe I'd get some chunk as well during the bull run.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 01, 2023, 05:55:21 PM
I am just going with the flow and not that much to think of bonuses although they're great incentives whenever your rank is higher. That's why I don't focus on it that much and just bet on those games that I'd love to bet, win or lose. It's sort of an attractive goal to get on when there are interesting perks that a certain account and wager promos are being offered. But it doesn't enticed me and I only bet on some events that I'd love to so it's not putting any pressure on me.
1338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is your DCA solution? on: August 01, 2023, 03:37:01 PM
Since you've mentioned Binance and you're aching the fee that you get from withdrawing there. The best thing to withdraw is through Lightning Network. The fee as shown on one image isn't that much. I'd prefer to withdraw it on that network than the other networks that you're allowed to choose. And about your DCA, it doesn't matter how much you're buying weekly or anytime. The importance of DCA is your discipline and being consistent there beats the other strategy that others may do once in a while.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: August 01, 2023, 01:09:32 PM
Team Spirit is good in countering picks and also in slowing down the game to give space for yatoro and have him his farm and items. I think with Team Liquid, they have to restrategize if they've been reusing strategies again and again. Like if for Talon, the fast game worked for them then they should have at least tried a different strategy if that fast game didn't worked for Team Spirit. Whilst zai and nisha has always been a performer, it seems that every fan is putting blame on micke.

They did try to change things up, but Team Spirit is way ahead of them in this tournament. It is the little things that they do that put Team Spirit to be better than Team Liquid. Like when have troll warlord on Yatoro and they are at a big disadvantage, the supports itemized to make troll better.  Eventually, Yatoro was able to catch up and they won the map. Aside from Yatoro always on point, like he knows where to go to avoid Liquid and when to push for the kill. That eventually put fear on team Liquid and you can see that they are very afraid of Yatoro. They cannot complete a high ground push even when they are way ahead. Team Spirit is just a better team in drafts and execution.
When there's too much prize money a on tournament, Team Spirit won't let that slip. Well, that play with troll for Yatoro. Truly props to the supports as having a troll is like having a sure minus one whenever there's no longer an ulti and bkb on it.

Micke is a shit carry and always picking up that Drowranger on which it would really be just that so easy to kill and you could really see that Yatoro is really that a good and aggressive carry unlike Micke.
I wont really be that surprised if he would be leaving the team or would be kicked out, it is really just that a waste on seeing zai and nishas effort on trying out to baby and carry out their carry most of the time.
Early gaming strategy against Team Spirit wont really be that effective considering that their drafts is always that versatile on which they could really be able to give a fight even if the match would
really be lasting from middle to end game.

It is really just that been turns out to be that normal that Team Liquid do always end up on second place consistent.  Cheesy
True, I like more yatoro as a carry than micke. Yatoro seems to be careful yet quick in farming and at the same time whenever his team needs his backup, he's there. Well, the curse of former EG has been transferred to Team Liquid for earning 2nd at most of their tournaments.
1340  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now let’s talk about CEX or DEX on: August 01, 2023, 10:24:06 AM
Which platform do we think is more reputable and have good track record of security? Does either of them have good liquidity?
Going with the typical way of determining about their liquidity, just look at the websites like coinmarketcap on this category.
So that's the list for dex and cex and if it's about the track of the record, you're able to get some ideas from the other members posted already on this thread. It's based on what they're using and what they've been with for a long time. And in terms of security, you need to remember that all of them can be targets and have vulnerability that will just be found out once an attack happens successfully.
