It was the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Oxford_Dictionary , just flipped to random pages and chose from a location.

*emphasis mine*

How can you tell you actually flipped to "random pages" and did not do it according to some pattern you're (so far) unaware of? Humans are too predictable to take them at face value when it comes to randomness.

Same goes for word selection on each chosen page.

As it has been mentioned above, I'd try to incorporating some dice into your page and word selection.
2384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brainwallet on: July 20, 2015, 08:31:42 PM
The first and the second sentence are more or less the same thing (assuming the process of generating and picking are both actually random and it's not too short, e.g. 10 words from a set of 5k words is going to be more than enough)), but I'm going to have to assume we both have a different definition of "randomly picking words" - your method not having much to do with randomness.

The answer to your question is very simple - it is unadvised because >99% of people are going to be picking words non-randomly, oblivious to their biases.

2387  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Burner Cell phones on: July 12, 2015, 08:51:43 PM
Where I am, these types of phones are essentially useless because you'd have to buy a local sim, and to do that you'd need to show your id or passport, which defeats the purpose of the item itself. You mentioned that you can get an international card with the phones. Will you be able to provide that with the phone? How much credit will it have?
And will you do international shipping?

Most/many countries don't have laws where you have to have your passport or government-issued ID scanned before buying a SIM card.

Worst case you can bribe a hobo with a cold beverage to sign up for you with his own ID.

I'd be more worried about the phones not supporting one or more of the many cellular frequency ranges in different regions around the world.

If you have Bitcoin-related questions / about Poland then you can write in English.

Check coinmap, there are a few places where you can eat out and pay with Bitcoin, there are also a couple Bitcoin ATMs if you'd like to sell some BTC.
2390  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of places to buy firearms for bitcoin on: June 28, 2015, 11:50:28 AM
If it is legal to have in your country, chances are they will ship it. The USA exports a lot of weapons, so the export regulations are usually not super restrictive, especially when it comes to unregulated parts.

I'm asking because I know a few people that had problems buying gun sights, optics, gun mounted flashlights, etc. Some places ship without problems, with others purchase is only possible if it's sent to a reshipper first, and others want you to make a call and then refuse to ship after hearing a foreign accent. It seems there is a very large discrepancy between different countries on what constitutes a regulated gun part/accessory and what doesn't. Then there's also some kind of $100/shipment limit.

Looking for places that take BTC for firearms? Me too, I'll make a list here if you have any gunshops you would like to add.

Do you think any of the legal places would ship non-regulated gun parts and accessories to EU countries?
