Do you mind sharing the name of this service? I'm sure other Europeans would like to know. This guy and all the commenters in the thread seem pretty clueless: I know a few similar places too locally but there are typically a couple caveats: a. fees - usually 1.5 to 3%; by comparison Bitcoin ATMs are 1 to 4% here and never require KYC; b. some of them can still ask for KYC randomly, especially if you're sending fiat, although the primary motivation is to avoid criminals monetizing strangers' bank account balances; c. the higher the transaction value and/or frequency or monthly volume, the higher the likelihood of being asked for docs, transactions below ~$1000 are less problematic

The Bitcoin and the overall cryptocurrency sphere is slowly maturing, and that also means things are becoming more boring, par for the course since finance and other heavily regulated spaces are like that. Interesting. There is negativity in the whole community too. Try talking to anybody about your entrepreneurship concepts and everybody just throws mud on it like a bunch of Negative Ninnys. That's because of all the scams and unearned hype, people have grown to be naturally suspicious.

If PayPal has a very strict policy regarding crypto trading as everyone is saying, why would they allow merchants to have accounts related to crypto in that case? There are multiple reputable exchanges like Coinbase and Virwox that have been dealing with PP/BTC for a few years now and I haven't heard of anyone having his account blocked after using these services.
One doesn't exclude the other, they may trust a company like Coinbase which performs KYC on its users more than some random person/company. Also, some banks don't allow their users to send money even to Coinbase or Bitstamp.

suchmoon quoted the main criterion. Community feedback can also be taken into consideration, especially on Local boards.
Other than that don't exhibit any red flags and hope that the stars align in your favour.

Are you talking about a merit source dedicated to Indian sub-forum? Who are you pointing at here? Why should a merit source be lurking in the dark?
Theymos has never made the merit source list public (to non-merit sources) in case the latter wanted to beg from merit sources to give them merits. Of course with time it's easy to figure who most of them are.

I'm pretty sure Skrill doesn't prohibit crypto-related transactions on their platform because they actually allow you to add funds to your Skrill account using Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash according to their own FAQ ( click for link). If you really want to say something about your transaction, just make it short (and don't say anything at all in the case of PayPal). Since they don't allow you to withdraw cryptocurrencies as far as I understand, it wouldn't be surprising if they wanted to prevent people from doing crypto-to-skrill exchanges or if they put barriers to bar most of their customers from these kind of trades, because that would mean one party to the transaction could use cryptocurrencies as they see fit, and a lot of these companies are starting to become nosy how people spend their coins.

I recovered most of the coins I invested in a mining contract in 2011 because I was persistent, almost everyone else who left money with that person didn't get anything, or only a small percentage back.
In the history of bitcointalk there have been a few scammers to return or start returning some of the stolen or defruaded money after a while, I think the most recent one is TradeFortress.

There's a Etheroll (DICE), an Ethereum token. The more of these tokens you hold, the greater your share of Etheroll's profits. On etheroll.com only Ethereum is used to gamble, you can cannot gamble using the DICE token itself.

In light of this, I find it interesting that you'd name your exchange 'aml'. Your reddit profile linked in the OP doesn't exist: www.reddit.com/user/AML24comI'd have someone go over the translation of your website because it's so crudely done it makes your site look like a scam :S

You have a legit point if a person has 10 accounts and does ten signature campaigns.
To me I would love a signature holiday 60 days it would allow us to determine how many are posting to earn a living. We could track the drop in traffic and maybe alter signature campaigns for the better.
This thread can give you an idea how many users in a single signature campaign are posting mostly for money: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188149.0;all

As long as it's on the user's Trust page then I think it's fine. It also wouldn't hurt if we could see how someone has voted (supported/opposed) on flags (others have raised this elsewhere previously).
|
|
|
Making it easier to add other users to a Trust list without visiting said users' Trust pages will result in people adding users without ever having looked into the Trust ratings or flags they post. It's also likely to confuse many users into thinking they're supposed to be adding people they trust (or whose posts they agree with...) to their Trust lists.
|
|
|
I'm not sure if this is the best idea. Users are supposed to be adding to their Trust lists people on whose ratings they can rely on, not whose posts they like or agree with.

That kind of falls under the category of some of the exceptions to the rules regarding buying/selling whatever is legal in your jurisdiction. Someone had asked a while ago about whether sexually explicit content was allowable to be sold between people of their country, where the age barrier was below the common 18 year mark. That one had to be turned down because it could potentially have repercussions. I've seen marijuana seeds for sale here before, but again I believe the actual grown product isn't allowed for similar reasons.
Content, as in video content should be fine, only in-person sexual services are prohibited regardless where the exchange would be to take place in due to US laws. I don't remember theymos saying anything about grown cannabis products, have I missed something? They seem to be legal in almost all States within the US so I stand corrected. if OP is thinking of selling them only to US customers I guess he is good to go. On the other hand, tasers are not allowed to be carried by citizens in the EU. I took only Germany as an example as they set the standard of what you can or can not do. Even pepper spray is against the law in parts of the EU.
Not true, maybe they're illegal to be owned or carried somewhere, but there is no such EU-wide law. Germany sets the standard for Germany only. Most EU countries allow for ownership and carrying of pepper spray (and similar stuff) by regular people. Sorry if you are not a personal fan of tasers but there is a market for them. After owning so many I have never been tased myself thankfully. The kind of situation where you don't want to use it unless you really have to.
Isn't it illegal to own guns in most of EU as well? Either way I didn't intend for this thread to go on this long but I'm happy I received the input I did. I'd rather cover all of my bases than post something prohibited and catch flak for it.
No, there is no EU country where it is illegal to own guns, and in some carrying is also legal. Some EU countries do have inane restrictions, as do some US states/territories/whatever.

"Return to Player (v2 only)" and "Commission" fields on the statistics page need to be updated. Looks like having offsite bankroll is even more attractive. Probably something you get asked a lot today but what made you change the investment scheme to this? Like what is the reason(s)? It's the best cryptocurrency gambling site on the market for both players and investors alike, it's unsurprising that devans would like to capitalize on that.
