Hi! I was not following the story, and canīt find any proper information now: what happened to the "mtgox coins" flowing into the ipo?

Brian Gaer?

Either this is something like a bad joke, or the ultimate irony.
I most likely lost 300 bugs in coinpal, but I tell you what. It was worth it. This thread is simply hilarious.
Had a lot of fun the last couple of weeks.

See this is the attitude you need to have. Any serious bitcoiner knows the #1 rule...lets all say it together, "Don't....Dont risk what you cant afford to lose". Risking more than a few hundred bucks on something you havent seen is half retarded..."a fool and his money will soon be departed".

God damn, thats the funniest fucking gif ever.

If people were anynomous yeah we might dropped the case. You guys arent

And please stop posting man, you try to hard defending yourself and coinpal. See what you did to yourself, by posting you just exposed yourself how stupid you are.

Well I did mention to him that I wanted to be a mod for the trollbox, but thats probably not happening anymore since we arent talking. Do you really think if I was involved, Id still be posting here calling you a dumbass? If I was involved, I would never post anything. If I was involved, I would of taken over this thread instead of Milligan in the beginning. I have nothing to do all day. I would be more discreet, probably make my facebook private, actually give a shit and be somewhat worried. I was obviously laying it on pretty thick I must say as well, and thats why you started digging. I knew my past posts could expose my identity, but again I didnt feel like deleting them as I did not care. Whats the worst that could happen? My name isnt on anything...The only thing that was fuckin lame is that he used my first name in a fucking email. I told him that was fucked up, and I still have not heard from him. So its definitely safe to say we are not really friends. He has ignored my texts, emails and calls. He obviously has not paid dividends, and the exchange is late. So he should definitely come here and explain or make an announcement. The fact that he hasnt, makes me lose some respect for him. I mean its technically your company.

But I will stop posting out of respect to the investors because you are/should be somewhat pissed off, and I would be too. Obviously from my past posts, you can see that ive been in your shoes, and its not cool...especially young Flannagan. But most of you guys lost small amounts, so chalk it up as a cheap lesson learned worst case scenario. Most of us have been there, and thats part of bitcoin.

So godspeed Coinpal investors. I hope the beta gets launched soon, and everyone forgets this whole mess.

It seems that I lost almost 2 BTC, which I won´t let it go like you wish to...
244  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: April 26, 2014, 12:47:36 PM
Hm, what a drama. Still canīt understand why the guys are lying continously.
If you are not able to deliver what you promised, lift the ipo flag on cryptostocks, buy back the shares on the original price and noone will get hurt. So simple.
245  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [IPO] CoinPal - Crypto-Currency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool {NEW} on: April 25, 2014, 10:06:12 PM
Why does the date state July 2013 twice on the package

-left under barcode above showed from September 2012 with phone nr
-left under next to barcodes rightside "EP14F July 2013"
-under adress very small "label 228, July 2013"

Thats when the envelope was manufactured dumbass...its obviously legit. There is a customs stamp on the envelope

Seriously, something tells me you didn't get hugged much as a child . . . nor as an adult. Chill out.

Who the fuck needs hugs? I get money bitches! Hugs are for queers and hippies. Man up pussies

now kiss!

247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIM] Simcoin - A Simple Coin on: April 25, 2014, 09:26:01 PM
So, for the client I've decided to use an embedded browser instead of native interface.

This approach has many advantages:

  • easy to program
  • dynamic interface, much more flexible than native
  • easily skinnable and can be made to look pretty
  • clear separation of UI code and core functions
  • portable: html/js code is cross-platform
  • looks the same on all platforms
  • native hyperlinking, useful for the built-in "blockchain explorer"
  • localization is much easier

I considered embedding Google Chrome or Firefox, but they are huge - tens of megabytes!

So for Windows client I've decided to go with IE. Yes, it's not particularly fast or smart, but it does the job and is included in every version of Windows, so the client will be small.

Currently, the exe file is just 86 Kb and the icon takes 32 of them Smiley

So here's a test version:

https://simcoin.info/simcoin_v01.zip

please run it and tell me if everything is Ok.

The logo is a transparent PNG, it shouldn't have any white borders (unless you are still using IE6 Smiley ).

Click on buttons. The last one sends a packet to simcoin.info server and waits for reply. This is to test firewalls and other networking issues.

Perhaps now is the time to reconsider the IPO, with this and other news in the near future, people investing today can risk their money with significantly more confidence than those who invested a week ago. I'm not suggesting to close the IPO, but the reward should be looked at.

With due respect to NxtChg and his work, but this is coded in 20 minutes. Do you really think that this will convince anyone to invest?
(I already invested because NxtChg and his vision)

"To deposit Maidsafecoins send them from 15sqMhaX84WX9RSG2oESuiyMYY9TAs36kd to 1MaStErt4XsYHPwfrN9TpgdURLhHTdMenH"

so where do I need to send them if they are on a different address? Do I need to send it to the first or to the second address? This is quite confusing.
If you no longer have control of the above sending address, and cant therefore send to it (and then send on to masterxchange), you will need to send masterxchange an email. Speak to Adrien, as he knows the problem, and is going to change the process soon (option to change and/or have multiple sending addresses).

Agreed, its currently a challenge and a headfuck to fully understand. Onwards and upwards eh!

That address is in my mastercoin wallet. The problem there is, that I canīt see ANY msafecoins, only mastercoin, bitcoin and testmastercoin. I just downloaded the new version of the wallet today. Why is there no MSAFE in the list?

How can I send MSAFE from one address (in blockchain currently) to another when Iīm using windows? I was checking out omniwallet, but for me it seems that thatīs only working with linux. Right?

Omniwallet works with windows.

You cannot use QT or blockchain.info to send MSAFE.

Import your address into Omniwallet.

Si I need to use the webwallet in this case, right?

And mybe you alse have a solution for this problem:

EDIT: Accordint to the Google Spreadsheet I should have around 77k MSAFe on this address: 1AW7hAkodXq6TCQuSaP5A1MbiCPhoixUmd
Now, according to test.omniwallet.org there is 0.

Iīve sent my investment in the very beginning of the ipo.

That address returns a current balance of 53524MSAFE that were sent to you 8 hours ago ......
https://masterchest.info/lookupadd.aspx?address=1AW7hAkodXq6TCQuSaP5A1MbiCPhoixUmd

You need to import the private key for the above address into Omni. for the balance to update.

Thank you. Omniwallet says that it will delete all existing data once it is out of beta testing
"When Omniwallet is "launched" (moved from "Alpha" to "Beta"), it is our expectation that ALL EXISTING USER DATA WILL BE DELETED!"

Does this mean that my address will get lost, or I will still be able to access it from blockchain as I also have it in there with the private key?

What does it mean if an order match is expired?
The order duration is determined by an amount of yet to be mined blocks. Expired = amount of blocks has been reached without execution/match.

Order match expired means:

* There was an "order match" between 2 orders
* One order involved the payment of BTC
* The side that was supposed to pay BTC did not do so within the required timeframe after the order match

Therefore the "order match" expired.

Do I need to manually approve a transaction? I thought if there is a buy order higher than my sell order, it gets executed automatically.

By default, Counterwallet handles the last step itself, but only if you remain logged in.

Otherwise it expires?

Does this mean that if I create an order selling 100 XCP for 0.005 BTC each and I log out for a week, my order wonīt get executed if someone creates a 100 XCP buy order for 0.005 BTC each?

Only the person selling the BTC needs to remain logged in, but yes.

I'm confused. Is the relevant issue that it's BTC that is being sold? Or does the seller of any asset need to remain logged in?

That sounds like a major inconvenience. An quite frankly I dont get why this has to be. Can somepne pls explain? How could we fully automate the process?

It's just for selling BTC. Because the Counterwallet servers hold none of your funds, the process cannot be further automated, no.

Good to have this cleared. In this case, it should be stated at least on the trading page...

All the mistakes they have been making on the coinpal project they have been fixed for this new project. There is also no thread for this new project here on [Suspicious link removed]eems they dont want a thread like this to be a wrecked one.

The new smart way to get most dividend back is by holding a 25k angel shares for themselve and pay themselve.

Look at the project, look the writing, look at the way they promote the shares, look at the divs, look at the special bonus coming, look, loook, If that doesnt look familiar with you then i dont know what is wrong with me.....they were registered on 9th april on godaddy. Look at the adres on their website, look like they just use the godaddy adres

Fuck you Ryan G with your fucking coinpail, you fucking scammer

There is enough public info to know that the principal of MSG and CoinPal are distinct and different.
The only similarity is that they are using the same  financing strategy. Which is that of selling interest in anongoing operation to raise BTC for a new operation. Nothing wrong with the approach, so long as the funds go to the project. If you need the public info on the principal of MSG, (Brian Gaer), i can give it to you.

Yeah I had emailed them and they confirmed they are uncoinpal related. Now.. Where is our dividends and where is our money?

He isn't going to have me phone daddy again is he?

EDIT: Remember everyone, if he pays dividends on Friday or something, then he owes us 2 extra days of the mining for the dividends, don't settle for any of his shit.

So you already talked to his dad?
What was the outcome?

Called office, spoke to some manager guy who seemed shocked he said he would pass a message on. Got an email later that day with his office number but I told him I will wait till the 26th and see the outcome. If there is any fucking about then I'll call him and let him know how I will proceed and how his son was stupid enough to use his offices network sometimes.

Are you 100% it was his son? Not someone using the identity of him?

Are you currently putting all your money into bitcoin?  If you say this, you show you believe it by your actions.  I am putting all my money into bitcoin - I see a possibility of $50-$100+ per coin this year.  Just think, once the "bankers" and hedge funds find out about this, we are going to the moon.  Once my bitcoins are $1,000+ I will be able to pay off my growing college loans and maybe get an apartment, and my first car Smiley

Did you get an appartment? Smiley
