241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: January 19, 2023, 12:00:04 AM
So if a casino accepts lower amounts they might see more gamblers from different countries who have less to spend and accrue more earnings that way.

Most casinos I believed do have a lower minimum deposit amount and users should have no problem dealing with it.

The question is, what range of amount is considered as a low amount? $5? $2? $1?

If these people will just deposit that kind of amount, better just try their luck, not on online casinos. The casino shouldn't adjust for anything regarding the minimum deposit amount if the set amount is kind of fair already. Again, as far as local fiat casinos are concerned, especially here, the average minimum deposit amount I'm seeing is around $3 to $4.
Actually, most online casino rarely offers minimum deposit amount and even if they do, they are fairly low which are valid and acceptable for everyone. I guess, this also varies depending on the games that these casino offers where you can only bet a certain amount which if a user tries to deposit a small amount, they won't be able to play anything on the platform.

In terms of local casinos, I've seen fairly lower deposit amount much lower than that like 0.5-2 dollars and they allow it as some slots are available to be played on a much lower amount.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real is the winnings? on: January 18, 2023, 11:53:15 PM

It is without a shock these days that when one downloads apps to explore, like game apps; features or tasks that can earn one some coins or diamonds, or candy come with real earning prospect. If one could successful convert such earns from these games or other apps, these monies could be used to get gift cards or could be withdrawn in some instances.

Is it okay for one to just go ahead and tryout any or all of these apps with their crypto coins or cash not minding scammers or hackers or exposing oneself to information theft?
For most cases where the earnings cannot be converted, but purchases could be made with bank cards, to fund them, what is best adviced?
How real are some of these winnings/earnings, incase anyone has had luck cashing their gaming/other apps wins to real cash/gift item?
I don't think it's safe to connect any of your wallets to these kinds of games, especially since even you, yourself don't even trust them. But if ever you really want to try them out because there are a lot of people out there saying that they've earned this and that amount by playing, then it's best to always create a fresh wallet since it's not even hard to do.

Actually, there are really a lot NFT games out there where you can earn a few bucks but I don't think it's worth of anyone's time, especially for free-to-play users.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 18, 2023, 11:43:20 PM
Greetings, esteemed community. Could you help me advise? I've seen a lot of topics on the forum about crypto or bitcoin casinos, but I need clarification on their point. As I understand the crypto casino involves paying in different cryptocurrencies, and the bitcoin casino involves only bitcoins. How to choose a casino, is there a criterion for this, or do you just go to any casino and play? It's a rash move without preparation. Also interested in a payment system, which is recommended to play in such casinos? Or just a suitable crypto wallet? I apologize for my silly questions, but I want to understand everything once and for all.
Welcome to the forum!
There are various criteria or factors for picking the best-suited gambling platform for you however the most important would be its reputation and security as you don't want to gamble on a platform that could potentially end up as a scam. I might suggest some of the most commonly known platforms here which are Stake, Freebitcon and Primedice where each website offers different games.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to review more topics. Unfortunately, I have to read every topic from the first page to the last. If you do so, I can get everything important, but much time can take such proofreading. But I do not want to risk money too.  Wink
You don't actually need to read every topic on the forum as there are a lot of threads out there that offer a brief summary of a list of gambling casino platforms in various terms like withdrawal fees, reputation, discussion, and topics about the casinos you like.
244  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 18, 2023, 11:14:55 PM
~snip~
I think there are several lessons here:
- there is not easy bet! even lower odds there is always a risk.
- it's really risky playing an huge amount. This not helps gambler because the risk is much much higher then rewards!
- gambling is not easy at all! it's really hard achieve a profit even for easy games!

What your opinion about this gambling issue? did you had experience similar experience? how a good gambler should avoid such mistakes?
The most important lesson that everyone should learn is that not because your odd of winning is too low doesn't mean that it will always guarantee a win, and this does not only apply to gambling but to everything.

I've personally experienced it myself on various games like slots and dice games where I bet all my bankroll on 1.10 - 1.005 odds where I sometimes end up losing all my funds. I've been doing these tricks to try to see if I'll be able to get some easy bucks before the end of each of my gambling sessions however instead of earning some, I'd end up losing everything. Anyone can avoid it is on their own volition whether we play these kinds of odd as the rewards isn't really worth it even with it being low risk as you may lose anytime.
245  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Cold Key Card holder ba dito? Redeem nyo na ang card nyo! on: January 14, 2023, 11:58:39 PM
Planado siguro yung ganyan.
Naipit yan malamang.

~
Based on trust lang talaga.
246  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 12, 2023, 11:21:33 PM
Sa tingin ko nga good thing pa yan eh, kasi yung thought na "basta pinoy rugpull" means that we're getting smart with investing our own money.

247  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: January 12, 2023, 11:09:40 PM
Ma tra2ce na tayong lahat panigirado dahil jan.  Siguro ito yung planB doon sa rumours na dapat injeckan lahat ng tao ng chips  for a reason." iwan ko kung anu yon basta yung time ng covid yun". IMV lang ha. Lol
Parang sobrang labo nung conspiracy na yan about microchip implantation tsaka if ever man, maraming makakaalam agad nito at maraming maalarma kung sakaling maging totoo man yun.

249  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: January 06, 2023, 11:50:59 PM

250  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 02, 2023, 11:59:32 PM
But I thought that brand ambassadors and advertisers only work is to spread the brand and help it to get new costumers. That is why this kind of businesses have a separate department to deal with the problems of clients, you know.
Stake is an illegal and not regulated online crypto coin casino.

If you advertise such a thing for your own financial benefit, then you participate in the operation and are liable for damages victims suffered.
Could you please provide more information why you stated the Stake is an illegal crypto casino? Also, as far as I know Stake comply with certain regulations and has its own license to its casino online.
If a brand, let us say "Samsung" hires Messi to promote and advertise a new high tech smartphone, you are not supposed to contact Messi for him to solve your problem, since he does not anything about tech service or engineering. Does it make sense to you?
It does not make any sense to compare a registered and legitimate tech company with an illegal and not regulated online crypto coin casino.

Consumers are protected by law for the first two years and if you have a problem you will find assistance in your country and do not have to run after them on a forum for months!

Only dumb criminals ignore justified customer complaints.
You're the one who's not making any sense as the comparison seems valid. Stake is the company, and you should not be contacting a brand ambassador for any information in regard to the platform itself.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 02, 2023, 11:54:53 PM
There are a lot of gamblers that do not even grasp the idea of having simple statistical techniques, as they simply rely on luck. And quite frankly, those are the ones who make casinos profitable. Even those gamblers who apply mathematical concepts and statistical techniques many of the times may fail, but by using those techniques, they greatly increase their chances of winning. After that, it is just a question of management. But yeah, most players are completely unaware of how to apply mathematical concepts and statistical techniques to gambling, it's true.
That may be true that a lot of gamblers don't really make statistical techniques when gambling, but it doesn't really mean that they are doomed to lose their games in casinos especially since most games on the casino have their own rules and exception to avoid getting abused by its users. A lot of games are based on luck which is also why people don't tend to make any complicated strategy as gambling owners already made some program to avoid certain techniques be used.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 02, 2023, 11:47:07 PM
This is actually what makes gambling a funny activity. It's the sensations and feelings you get while you play whether you lose or win, happy or frustrated.. However, frustration should be temporary and don't last for long otherwise gambling won't be funny anymore and you may start making bad decisions like trying to chase losses.
Somehow I never found this gambling funny. I've always been serious about gambling, but of course I've also had a lot of fun. Frustration and chasing losses are bad for those who gamble responsibly, but both feelings are always there for those who are addicted.

Oh wait, I'm an addict too and sometimes I get upset over losing but it seems like that feeling only lasts for a few minutes before I do anything else.  Wink
If we've understood about gambling in the right way we'll console ourselves not to get upset or frustrated on losing. When I was new to gambling I've cried for days with the doors locked. Those are days when my mind had a thought we'll win out of gambling and the loss wasn't acceptable. Slowly I understood the reality and got adopted to the situation.
Actually, the frustration mostly comes depending on the amount that you've lost. As for me, things were fun and all whether I win or not but after a while, I keep winning and accumulating more funds and got greedy which made me end up losing all of it and that's where frustration and other negative feeling comes on. However, after I got out of the addiction that gambling brought me, I was able to avoid these scenarios.
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 02, 2023, 11:38:49 PM
I have plenty of the RP's available with me. 150K+ RP's just sitting around and doing nothing really. I have first obvious option to convert them in satoshi and earn some interest on them from the "Earn BTC" tab. But if I do this then I will have to wait for very very long time to achieve the 100K RP limit so that I can withdraw them again. [ Considering I am not doing great at multiplier and bets]

No one size fits all. Some keep their RPs till the end of the world, others like me will convert them to BTC boosters during favorable situations such as when the prices are down so there are more sats per claim.

That's why I don't wait until they reach 100K, rather time for the most optimum amount of BTC.
I honestly wait until 100k because it turns to money in my pocket and that matters more to me. What do I do? Withdraw it so that I would have some money?

Of course not lol, I end up gambling it away in the same place I got it so freeitco.in basically loses nothing, it also gives me lottery tickets and more reward points and lambo tickets too but I won none of that so far which means that I do not deposit much here, been a while since I last did, but I haven't withdrawn any money from here neither since the same times hence there is a net balance between me and freebitco.in, there is no profit nor a loss for neither of us in the same way.
I guess, for me, I would rather prefer to always exchange it to some WoF on a daily basis as I mostly get the RP back in a short time. Other than that, I don't really wait until it reaches 100k but reserved it whenever I'm in the mood of continuous gameplay or betting on Freebitco.in and exchange it for some bonuses since it is too useful for me on those times. I've only exchanged my RPs once for bitcoin for 100k RP and never have done it again even after getting much more higher amount of RP.  Still, I wonder if there are some people who already exchange their RPs with physical items like Devices and Hardware wallets.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 11:14:54 PM
I'm actually not surprised to see a lot of people choose sports betting over normal casino games like slots, dice, and many more. There are a lot of sports threads showing up on the forum, especially during the world cup since you can manage your winnings there more than on other gambling games as you can play safe or even decide to bet on the team or country you support on.

As for Casino Games, your chances may mostly vary depending on your luck, but you can also somehow manage your odds to go in your favor and avoid continuous losses. I personally choose the 50/50 on both even though I mostly play casino games since it entertains me a lot and in regard to the amount, I bet on casino games and sports games may likely be almost the same but right now, I've allocated more funds on sports to be able to take advantage with the current on-going games.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 02, 2023, 11:06:49 PM
Well, deciding whether or not to play the lottery comes down to how you define "smart". If your goal is to become a millionaire overnight with minimal effort, then playing the lottery might not be the most effective strategy. But if you're looking for a little bit of harmless fun and the chance to dream big, then go for it! Just keep in mind that the odds of winning the jackpot are pretty slim, so don't bet the farm on it. While many people say that the lottery is a waste of money, others tell you that hundreds of millions of dollars are up for grabs each and every day. It's all about knowing why you're doing things, rather than just following them blindly because someone else said to do them. As for me, I will be playing at least a few dollars when I can spare it from my other hobbies, because I believe that it's harmless fun and helps jog my dreams a little bit.
Exactly, it might be useless or worthless for some but not to all since it doesn't really cost that much to bet on a lottery, and other than the winning jackpot, you can also have a chance of getting what you've paid for if you'll be hitting some of the numbers on it. I don't always play the lottery, but I sometimes do and it's a great feeling knowing you can be an instant millionaire if you ever win these things. Also, I doubt that people don't really know their chances when playing these but rather they just hope for once-in-lifetime luck on the lottery.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 01, 2023, 11:02:00 PM
For some time now I have seen in this section of the forum a not small percentage of gamblers who do not understand basic statistical concepts of mathematics applied to gambling, such as Return to Player or Expected Value. As a result, it is not surprising that every now and then we see someone who thinks he has found a good system to win casino games by applying some variant of the Martingale. This is despite the fact that these are not complicated concepts and the information is easily accessible to everyone, it is not like 30 years ago. I would say that at least 25% of the people who write in this section fall into this category.

Do you have the same perception as me?

I think a lot of whiny threads of people telling how they ended up losing a lot more than they expected would be minimised if people understood these basic concepts. Although knowing the theory doesn't guarantee it 100% because we sometimes get carried away by emotions.

I am sure that some of those who think they understand these concepts but in reality do not will comment on this thread Grin.
I guess each strategy varies depending to each player or gambler and one doesn't really need to complicate things if a simple martingale strategy works on them. I too, mostly used martingale strategy throughout my time of gambling here as it is much more complicated to make some strategy that can only works on a short amount of time.

Most people here on the forum already know basic concepts and the system of each game but they would rather stick with the most common methods or probably don't want to share their complicated methods. About the threads showing up on the forum about how one method did not work is normal as emotions are there and they just want to express it and share it on the forum
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 10:54:19 PM
Do you play national lottery games (Powerball, EuroMillions, Lotto etc)?
Yes, I rarely play lottery games whenever I feel too lucky or unlucky on my daily life basis but not for fun rather to test whether I'll get a chance of winning due to continuous luck I experience or I maybe able to turn things sideways whenever I feel too unlucky.

But the reality is, such lotteries usually have way worse odds than any casinos or gambling sites. So, mathematically speaking, you're better off gambling your money there.
Thoughts?
Yes, Lotteries maybe one of the gambling games that has the worst odds out there which is why most people even tell that you're likely to get hit by a lightning twice than winning one of those, but I don't think it's fair to compare it to normal casino games such as dice, slots and card games. Normal casino games are not the same with lottery as lottery is mostly maxed out when it comes to its odd of winning as you only pay for a small amount in a chance of winning a tremendous prize.

258  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 01, 2023, 10:46:48 PM
Why did not you ask Eddie (Stake) as you claim that he is your best friend? If I were you and Eddie is my best friend, I'll ask him about it because the success of Stake. I dont think Eddie will give you at least a clue on how to calculate weekly/monthly bonus and what other things need to consider related to these bonuses.
Plus 1 to this. Stake has one of the best bonus system. Just ask Eddie and copy the way he do bonuses in Stake, only if he is really your friend. Problem solved. That way you don't need to get through so much hassle but no hard feelings if Eddie refused your request since it's competition. After all, business is business. It's normal not to help a competitor.
I agree that Stake is currently one of the gambling platforms that offer great bonuses either with normal bonuses or cashback or rakeback on a weekly basis depending on the amount wagered. However, I don't think it's best to ask someone who owns a different casino from you whether if your friends or not as it will not look good to your own casino.

If he really is his friend and tried to ask him some questions on the bonus with intent of somehow copying it, I doubt he'll provide any info about it as there's a competition between both casinos. But he can try and ask some options and info about bonuses which he can try on his platform, and he might get some generic response from him if he ever is his friend.

I mean shitcoins, pinag-investan mo eh, ano sa tingin mo magiging balik nun.

Yun nga, gusto man nating paniwaalan yung project na binuo ng isang pinoy crypto developer, sobrang hirap din dahil karamihan dito turns out to be a scam like yung lodicoin at iba pang token. Magagaling tayong mga pinoy when it comes to being a developer pero kapwa lang din natin yung humihila dahil sa mga previous reasons like potential scams at iba pa.
