241  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden's IRS Plans Could Boost Crypto Adoption on: April 30, 2021, 04:47:16 PM
At first, it seems to be a good idea since governments and banks do not chase that far into this industry since it is quite new to the world. But in reality, if they really wanted to, they can tract down every transaction you have. That us if you are someone big enough to waste such efforts for. So if you are, better think twice before creating such plans. Because although there are some altcoins out there with quite good enough amount of anonymity, nothing is fullproof. So be careful. Better abide by laws instead of always having to look behind your shoulders all the time.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my first Bitcoin and am happy on: April 29, 2021, 04:56:29 PM
Good for you man. Enjoy the fruits than just watch them and let them rot later. Hodling is great but not to the extent of letting yourself be a slave to the idea and not even letting yourself enjoy the outcomes of your great decisions. Anyone who says otherwise are just bitter and got in late so do not believe them. Do whatever you want with the fruits of your labor and oamoer yourself along with your loved ones because if not, for what are all of your efforts? Good luck in your future endeavors.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: April 29, 2021, 04:18:09 PM
Investors, specially those who are well experienced in the traditional ways will never invest in this kind of industry since they have been used to the old ways which they have already familiarized themselves and are very comfortable with. What's worse is that in some olaces people's minds are so closed and uneducated that even stocks and currency trading are no different than bitcoin in their eyes and see all of them as scams or ponzis. Ignorance is really preventing innovation in so many ways.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks on: April 29, 2021, 03:27:27 PM
Indeed this is such a bullish news. The thing about this though is that it is yet to be approved but even so, I personally think that since it has been taken into consideration, then there must be a bug room for acceptance which then would be great for the german people. This news may just boost the use and buyung of Bitcoin in the coming months from now. The only frightening thing about this is they might include strict kyc and apply unreasonable taxes. I just hope they be fair to the german people.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My first two ICOs will be Mina and ECO. Good idea? on: April 24, 2021, 09:23:19 PM
A friendly advice, if you are still new to this industry, read and be updated. Do mot just trust everything you see without confirming or studying about it first. Just look at what most of the people here said, ICOs are so yesterday and not that trust worthy anymore. There are lots of better investments out there if you just take your time to search more and read more. You can also just invest in well established altcoins instead if you really want to invest in altcoins. Or, you can just go ahead and really invest on ICOs and have your way so you can gain experience. Anyway, experiences, good or bad, are great teachers, whatever outcomes you may get, learn from them. Trust me, you will need all the knowledge you can get in this industry.
246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: India covid19 crisis on: April 24, 2021, 08:42:18 PM
The thing that must be done is to think of better ways to counter this problem rather than pointing fingers because this can do nothing to better the situation in India in any way. Doing this is just childish and insignificant. Specially when part of the blame goes to the citizens themselves. While the ones at fault or the ones who failed to fulfill their duties towards the public should be punished, I believe that this can wait till the situation gets better and controlled. Would be nive if we all just donate and help that indian guy who is actually doing something to help by starting a campaign in twitter that invites all crypto enthusiasts all over the world to help rather than helping spread hate.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: April 24, 2021, 08:23:13 PM
Big NO. It's easily comprehendible with just a use of common sense. There ain't even a need for much effort. The wealthy always have control over almost everything. And following that logic, means banks control what happens along with the governments. I even see bitcoin being legalized in the future but also having big taxes in return for its users and holders. If not, the governments amd banks will proceed on making a similar thing but widely regulated so they do not lose control over everyone. That's just how things work in this world.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? on: April 24, 2021, 08:06:22 PM
Although bitcoin wasn't meant or made to be something that can be a store of value(someway similar to gold), I still think that aince it has come to this already, I am betting on bitcoin more than gold. This is because even with gold being scarce which is the reason for its value, it has no finite number while bitcoin on the other hand has. But of course, the thing that people always say is good about gold, is its trait of being physically present is truly a plus for it. But even so, with bitcoin being the way it is, the people and companies being drawn and are already indulged in it are credible enough and have huge names that are well-know almost everywhere and not just in this industry. Plus, we are getting more and more advanced it is only natural that our ways of spending, earning and keeping our assets alao change for the better. Which is explains why I really favor bitcoin today compared to gold.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: 🛑 Can bitcoin prices bounce back? Opinion Poll With Results 🛑 on: April 23, 2021, 04:37:45 PM
Went for the third choice. I see bitcoin bouncing back again and again just like how it did in the past till today. Specially now that very big names and companies have decided to invest into bitcoin and other altcoins out there. Heck, even a joke of a coin like dogecoin managed to go up in price in such a short period because of a single hype. In fact, I even think that 70k is just around the corner watch out for that.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can doge coin reach 1$ this year? on: April 23, 2021, 04:06:14 PM
I kind of feel bad for you man. Not being able to sell at the right moment. You really should have sold already at that price point considering how useless of a coin doge coin is(sorry to the lovers of this coin that's just what it is. I only bought and sold and was done with it as soon as I got my profits. May consider investing again if I ever find a good reason to. Just sell if you are not in so much of a loss but if you alreayare too deep, just hold and hope that another hype happens. That is, if you don't need the money you invested yet.
251  Other / Politics & Society / Re: JOE BIDEN wants to DOUBLE your TAXES on BITCOIN gains! on: April 23, 2021, 03:26:08 PM
I happened to see this one the news also. I was shocked specially when I heard that the one behind this idea is joe biden himself. Who would've thought that he would be doing such a crazy thing specially at a time of pandemic. He is the last peeson I would've thought of that would ever have this kind of idea. A lot may really choose to leave us if this comes to pass.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 23, 2021, 02:43:48 PM
The scope of this post is quite wide but the point is easy to see. What I may add is that no matter what happens, bitcoin flourishes. Whether it is being bullied by banks, governments and influencial people or being raised up by some of them, bitcoin never went extinct and has become, what it is today making the people who called it ponzi or scam eat their own words and invest on the very thing that they have talked trash about.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The old fiat days are behind us! on: April 22, 2021, 04:53:32 PM
How I wish that this really was already the case. Sad thing though is that it still isn't. No matrer how much the technological advancements fill this world, as long as the people on top who are in charge of the governments, and banks never accepts it, we will still be stuck with fiat or with technologically advanced payment systems that are still governed and manipulated by these people. Just copying the innovation andaking it suit their own interests rather than the interest of the public as a whole.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coin that can go ONLY up? on: April 22, 2021, 04:27:05 PM
The rich quick kid in aide of me gotten quite interested. But when I really thought about it, the idea is the type of thing that wouldn't work if there are good projects out there that really has great use cases which helps better this industry or the world as a whole. Having this use cases makes people trust a coin more. Your idea on the other hand is quite simple and can be manipulated by the team or by big investors specially when the time of having less fees are scheduled. And what about the small investors that would have contrastingneeds compared to the whales? They would be the poor ones to suffer once emergencies in their lives come and they need to pull out their investments. Just doesn't seem that great of an idea in my opinion. Sorry :/
255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The sad truth about the virus covid19 on: April 22, 2021, 03:43:24 PM
And another conspiracy theory about one world government comes out with a little garnish of covid-19. Phew what conspiracy theorists so all the time is search and search for anything that they can use to connect to previous conspiracies just to make it seem more legitimate regardless of having proof or not. At least aome conspiracies have mixed truths in them, but this, this isn't even fun to enough to consider as something good to use as a pass time.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 22, 2021, 03:08:20 PM
Well, you have a point. But the thing is, you cannot force things to happen the way you want them to. Every circumstance that comes is a product of a series of decisions that we have made in the past. There are a lot of tools availabe for everyone to succeed. What differs is the attitude people show towards adversities and how they use these tools that are already there for them to improve more in everything they do, write or say. Experience is a great teacher. Bitcoin wasn't made for this but it is what it is today, ride the tides instead of going against it.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: April 17, 2021, 07:18:40 PM
It really isn't that surprising to see xrp gaining momentum specially at a time like this when the market is going great. As you can see, even coins that are just starting up along with some less credible coins are also gaining momentum as of this moment. What more if a coin is reputable and has a real use case? But even with the green covering the market nowadays, high priced coins can only hain a few since it'll be hard to go higher when the price is already high. Of course, it is a different story if a lot of huge personalities and companies decides to back a coin up and invest huge amounts. Just like what happened to bitcoin.
258  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trans woman joins women football league on: April 17, 2021, 06:38:49 PM
Man, seeing things like this really just makes you question what the hell is happening to the world today. I mean seriously! That is a man's body for crying out loud! Lol. No matrer how feminine you act or dress, it won't change your physiology! I really think that it's time I list myself on spacex to go to mars. Idc if I'd be a utility person there. Haha. Just imagine, last time I even saw a post about something like a new gender or an addition to the initials LGBTQ which is ST maybe? That translates to super staight. What a joke. -no offense to any LGBTQs and STs out there.  Lol
259  Economy / Economics / Re: I think Bitcoin is the biggest bubble and ponzi in the universe or it isn't? on: April 17, 2021, 04:34:19 PM
With your argument, even calling stocks as ponzi schemes are just as true. As to why is very easy to understand and doesn't need explaining. Of course, if you lack knowledge about this coin or not in the techy side you wouldn't care much about bitcoin except for it's price, volume and the big names who are drawn to it. An easy thing to understand is that people love new things and love to jump on to the newest trends every time especially when there are a lot to gain. So as long as there is desire to be on the trend along with the now obvious desire of profits and some extent of privacy, bitcoin will not pop. Not unless all the governments and banks in the world unite to destroy bitcoin along with all the other altcoins to get rid of this tyoe of industry. Which I honestly think is very unlikely to happen. I think you get my point. Good day op.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC low fee transaction on Ledger more then 24 hours delay on: April 17, 2021, 04:16:40 PM
I honestly think that the privacy analysis doesn't do much for anyone to call it "truly worth it" just like the other guy mentioned. What you can do though is to learn from this experience and do transactions way ahead of time before the actual moment of need so you can just sit back and avoid the stress of thinking about how long the transaction will finish. Another thing you can do if the need arises suddenly because of an emergency, is to be willing to pay higher fees so that you can be at ease knowing that the transaction you made will be done in just a few moments because of the high fees you paid.
