Well great surprise for me , i cant see the game but when i go back to my home a huge victory against Australia in this second game.
Really good to see the Pumas lifting the heads like this way. Lets keep in this path.

Damn it, I forgot about the Rugby Championship this weekend again!

Thats a big win by Argentina with a big score too 48 - 17 >
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/aug/14/wallabies-thrashed-by-argentina-in-record-rugby-championship-defeat

Reading that report above it looks like there was somee bad refereeing decisions
but I'm not sure Australia would have wone anyway.

Quote
It was the Pumas’ biggest-ever win over the Australians and, on the back of the thumping
bonus-point victory, they moved to the top of the four-nation standings.

Does anyone know what the odds on Argentina to win were?and did anyone have them backed?

2402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 13, 2022, 01:17:50 PM

I had a bet on Kyrgios last night against De Minaur and he despatched him easily enough,
6-2, 6-3. He plays Hurkacz in the quarter final today which I think he should also win.

Looking at the remaining players I cant see anyone beating him with his current form
provided he can hold it and stay fit with high energy.
A big disappointment, I too expected him to be the winner against Hurkacz. Things have taken place in the opposite way. The first two sets were of good fight from both the players, but the third one was a big disappointment and went as a one sided set. Losing the match 64-77, 77-65, 1-6 which could've made big bets end up losing.
A lot of people lost their bets on that game, i would call it an upset considering how good was kyrgios playing recently, he was doing good on the first two sets we were witnessing a great match but it all changed on the third set when kyrgios lost his focus and he had six double faults which helped hurkacs win easily.

Yes, I guess the winning streak for us and Kyrgios has ended, but as you can see it's very close, the first two sets was really tight, going into a tie breaks. And it the 3rd set, it seems that Nick already lost, looks very tired already.

Nevertheless, with his recent wins, he will be seeded now come US Open. So that will be very interesting to see how Nick will be at that biggest stage. So it will be the familiar Hurkacz vs Ruud in the first semis.

TBH and I'm not saying this because I lost my small bet on Kyrgios v Hurkacz but while I was
thinking of the bet I did consider two factors pertaining to Nick's game:

1. he doesnt play a full Tennis schedule  which leads to point
2. his fitness levels cannot be the same as the guys on tour "full time"

But I went ahead anyway and bet on him! and TBH I will be following him on his next tournament.
In the end I have made some Satoshi's on his winning streak.
2403  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [IDEA] 🌍🌎🌏 Community group participation - Bitcoin Colouring Book on: August 13, 2022, 06:47:19 AM
My thoughts on that are, once we get one to lead, they could reach out to the others. Max and Stacy are pretty good about responses on Twitter. I could see them being the ones to get such a concept going.  I would especially if you donated to a Bitcoin Beach charity or something, it might really catch her attention.

No offence Mark but while I like your enthusiasm that would be far and above what
I had planned. I certainly wouldnt be the person to persue that avenue, and I would concur
with @Cryptogreatdane.

But! maybe some of the legends who have been on this board and are still here would be
up for participating?

I really wanted this like the original Colouring Book to be specific to the forum and to
make it "our" community event.

@owlcatz - yea thats a nice twist and something which goes with my idea above.

@xSlyy - sounds interesting! especially the beer part!

I tried this out today, its very addictive!

Here are some results from my keywords, it does struggle with the Bitcoin symbol. I would
like to maybe embellish the images with my own design and the Bitcoin symbol like the
full sized ones below in particular.

As you can probably guess two of the key words were: Bitcoin, City!

I just checked in with ROLLBIT to see if they have listed the Outrights and they do as follows for the winner:

I'm definitely going to have to check that service out.

I was gob-smacked to learn the Storm beat The Panthers 16 - 0 last night.  It is the first time the Panthers have been scoreless in seven years.  The last time was against the Storm and also at Penrith Park oval where they played last night.

What a strange game, I was following the score line on and off at work. ZERO points
scored by the Panthers and ZERO points scored in the second half by either team,
was anyone playing in the second half? did everyone go home? Joking aside do the
Panthers have their eye on the finals already and are they "saving" themselves for those?

2406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 12, 2022, 06:23:27 AM
Kyrgios has momentum, he is playing great, had his chance against Djokovic as well, and won all other matches since Wimbledon

not sure about winning Montreal, but after kicking out Medvedev, he has an open road to final stages, and that could be an easy task, if he continues this way

as I already said, Medvedev is not no.1 potential, he ended up there as coincidence
Yeah, I do agree that Nick has now the momentum and I will be riding on his in this tournament. Maybe bet on him if the player that he will be facing is not name Djkovic or Nadal.

As for Medvedev, another disastrous year for him, probably a number 1 seed that is not as consistent as the others before him who become the top seed, like the big 3. Still though, he will have to prove himself again in the next tournament.
In last few weeks, we are having some good changes in Nick Kyrgios, and now he is doing amazing game after losing final against Djokovic in Wimbledon now he is on winning streak and with this win against Medvedev now his confidence and game is on their high level if he is going to play like this for some more time then surely he is going to be at top with some great results and here in this tournament he can win his second title in a row.

Medvedev is surely one of the best player in current era but sadly due to some trouble and restrictions he is facing some trouble, but soon he can fight back and can give his best for the game.

2410  Economy / Collectibles / [LIVE] 🌍🌎🌏 Community Project - Bitcoin Colouring Book - RAFFLE PENDING on: August 11, 2022, 12:23:17 PM
Hi All,

I have had this idea from the very start of the Bitcoin Colouring Book project andI think and hope people find
it interesting and will participate apologies for all the "ands"

The idea is to have a group of people around the world colour part of 1 book, lets say #50
and then raffle it off for free!

The group of people would be chosen by raffle also.

I kick it off, colour 1 page and then post to the next person who in turn colours a page of
their liking and posts it on. Obviously you will incur a cost of having to post it to the next
in line.

The last and 12th person in the line holds the book until the raffle is complete and then
posts it to the winner.

Its supposed to be a fun project and another give back to the community and should also
gain added value from being created in part by the group and potentially some legends of the Collectibles Board

So post up what you think!

Here is the list of participants from 21/08/2022

Markzellers mx12.levins
xSlyy
Cryptogreatdane
owlcatz
doblezero

minerjones
giammangiato
MoparMiningLLC
ZipReg
Timelord

Timelord
Remsjack

Ok so this is how I see it happening:

1. One page for everyone except Timelord2067 as he would like two of his mates to
colour a page each, and he bought 2 books which I guess are for those mates, I'm ok with that.[/i][/sup]

2. As mentioned above its freestyle so you can colour a printed page how you like, pencil,
pen, marker*, paint, pastel**, airbrush if you have the skill or collage, but I would
like if the blank pages are kept blank. Everyones ability is different, I think we all understand that,
so no worries about what you can or cannot do, it has to be enjoyable.

3. You can pick whatever page is available, obviously except person #12 on the list, but those
people who are the last positions on the list get to see in the flesh all of the other work!

4. We have 3 continents involved, Europe, Australia and America, I guess we send the book East,
there is no point sending it to Australia to come back to Europe then on to America and back again
to Europe, So I think we keep it as fluid as this:

I know doblezero is in Europe so I will lost the book there, when he/she is finished they post their
work in the thread and the next European puts their hand up and doblezero posts to them. what do you all think?
I have made a list predetermining the journey of the book.

5. Once the book is posted initially by myself, I wont see it again. At the end the person in 12th spot
holds onto the book until the winner of the raffle/auction is decided.

6. Raffle or Auction? a free raffle for the BCT community or an Auction to be split 11 ways for all the Artists?
or charity as mentioned earlier on?

* using felt tip markers with result in a lot of bleeding I'm suspecting and may not be handy in finer details

** pastels, chalk or wax, will need fixing when complete.

I watched the match between Medvedev and Kyrgios, well the last 2 sets! I thought his
performance was brilliant and as one of the commentators said on his day he can beat
anyone. Some of the shots he made were astounding.

I also disagree that Medvedev is not #1 material, at the moment with all that is going on
the Russian players have a lot of distraction and broken schedules, these are not normal
times but he definitely has all the criteria to become #1 and retain that spot for some time.

I got my copy a few weeks ago and have been meaning to snap a few photos to help out
with "exposing the product to the risk of sale"

This is a really different coin, different finish and different theme. The aged Copper finish
is in keeping with that steampunk theme.

2417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin art created by AI {gallery} ... and the satoshi portrait as well. on: August 10, 2022, 07:06:27 PM
Looks professionally done in a lot of cases.

Easily at first glance. The AI is just having a bit of trouble with the symbols. An AI generated art and with just a few touch ups by a graphics designer(to fix the weird symbols) then there's an 80%+ chance I wouldn't be able to differentiate it from human art.

Yes some of the logo attempts look under developed to a point that it you didnt know the
artwork was Bitcoin themed you wouldnt get it.

Then in other cases the logo looks enough developed that it is identifiable but looks like
an "ancient" form of the logo and looks like it suits the mood of the "art".

If you compare the life of a person studying fine art who goes through the different media
like watercolour, oil, acrylic, pastels, graphite etc. and the various techniques and different
surfaces over a number of years and then specialises in a particular field honing their style
and individualism and compare that to a computer which can knock something like the above
out in a short space of time, there is definitely a value in one but what about the other?
2418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin art created by AI {gallery} ... and the satoshi portrait as well. on: August 10, 2022, 02:18:39 PM
Nice collection!

AI technology has been grown very impressively recently.

Two years ago, AI wrote high quality articles and now can draw high quality arts. In theory, many of their works are better than things created by normal people (not experts).

I am not sure how they get inputs to make those arts but there are applications to create personalized avatars that I reject to use. They are risky but some people easily to accept their requirements, and upload their personal photos in order to create funny avatars.

When they realize what they do are stupid, it's very late.

Its actually jaw dropping the amount of art there is and the diversity of the themes. I kind of
fear for the future of true human created art after seeing these.

I can imagine how people would think its "kool" to upload a photo of yourself to get an AI
fantasy version back, but worrying too.

Nice one Trofo!

Yea I have Carreno Busta for today against Rune and also De Minaur to beat Dimitrov.

So Kyrgios got the job done yesterday against Baez and today faces #1 seed Medvedev.
Given Kyrgios' high performance ATM and Medvedev's lack of game time compared,
does anyone give Nick a chance? ROLLBIT are being cautious and only offering up to
+2.5 on Kyrgios.

2420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 09, 2022, 09:32:53 PM
Montreal started, without Nadal and Djokovic, there will a lot of interesting matches, and several players could reach final stage

for today, I will go with Cilic, Krajinovic and Berrettini, solid picks, not bad odds, Krajinovic @2.2 is a value bet, IMO
Medvedev is top spot, but I do not think he will take the title

Just watching Kyrgios against Baez ATM, if Kyrgios wins this he will face Medvedev
in the next round. Its the first set and Nick was 1-5 up and looked super focussed but
seems to be getting a bit negative now. Its now 4-5 Huh

After the Barthy ... we have another illustrious tennis player announced to retire this year!
I'm talking about Serena Williams! It looks like this US Open will be her last tournament in which she will participate.
This news has been just published by several journal Sad

https://pagesix.com/2022/08/09/serena-williams-announces-shes-retiring-from-tennis/

Yea its time for her to retire, she is still super talented and that carries her so far but
there are plenty of players now who can easily beat her.
