yeah, it was just me getting a titan for dorking around sake...but you are likely correct on the better deal... again, just me, and thought the price was/is fair on the other hand...if the Titans made you good money (like my original knc Jupiter BTC miner in 2013) the thought getting $120 for it is probably really an attractive option, just keeping the unit, as that it kicked ass for you as a memento I get that ...but maybe a cube or two is floating about or folk have too many again, don't recommend anyone get knc titan of any type...unless it is for messing around like myself as a toy and a loss brad

Well, I sold 639 last week at $9.49..in that my timing is always wrong it should pump at least 3x now soon. (I have more...but my timing on selling stuff in crypto world generally sucks...) Well to update bought 2,000 LISK last week...so made up for the above previous hedge (for asic equip no less...duh) so caught back up! at $8.18 price by the by...progress!

Yeah, he is not even trying anymore to prove this is not a scam...just messing with folk...a photo of a 'closed box' sheesh...

I don't suppose anyone has found any crypto long-shot worth mining with these D3's yet? I have found that they make 'cumbersome' doorstops and such...so just asking

He got through it all without my help. His only beef was that liskelite.com_pay was not taking any NEW applicants...(guess I got in under
the wire on that back in the day).
Why do you mean by that ? He just need to vote for all the members here: https://liskelite.com/memberAnd also here is a page to help him to know who to vote to get maximum rewards: https://lisk.builders/votemanagerThe liskelite page he told me was not taking any new applicants...please inform me he was mistaken..and I'll tell him (looking myself to see if he was incorrect) *just looked* As far as I know he simply voted for all of the fist 101 delegates...I assume that is all he needed to do looking at your list? (sent you a pm also) As to the rest of the post was just to point out...no issues...except whatever he thought about the liskelite signup or whatever he meant... That was the point...he called for help setting things up...then I called back like 40 min later he was all done...just mentioning that for the newbie it was 'easy peasy' Cool, yes the only thing he needs to do is vote and that's it, he don't need to register anywhere I tested my 2-day old lisk address (had to set up a 2nd lisk address due to having a self-employed (pow scrypt miner LTC crypto miner) business ..thus the solo401k has to have its own sandbox and be kept separate etc, etc. It worked just fine. So I assume his new address today will work fine as well. I sent him the links to check such out anyway, probably good to have the links on hand to review once in awhile anyway in case someone drops out and I need to vote again. Also checked my old main lisk address it came up golden as well...so all is great... thanks for help Brad

lol. GPUs are more profitable lol.
A lot more profitable. I bought two L3 + in March, worse mistake i made in a while my three GPU rigs make more i should have bought two Vega 56's in stead . from what i see buying there new L4 or whatever they call it won't be worth the 1.5, 2 or 3k they may charge for it used unless it does some thing like 3 or 4 GH/S because 1.5 GH won't last long an is just another Ripe Job coming selling them at 1.5, 2 or 3 k @ 1.5 GH . it also depends on how much power that 1.5 GH miner uses it can possible be worse. 1.5 GH 7 bucks a day no power usage added on 3 GH 16 bucks a day no power usage added on >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> we don't know yet what the power usage is. 4 GH 22 bucks a day no power usage added on but the fools will pay it thinking they got some thing me included, I hope i don't and unless the community as a whole fights back, butmain will keep doing it . Plus no one should be fooled into to thinking it cost them a ton to make gear,it doesn't . Best post I've read in here in a long time. This guy "gets it". Set your metrics and STICK with them. Mine....If I can't recoup my investment in 6 months or less on ASIC, I DON'T BUY. In reality, 6 months is at the extreme end of my comfort level. I have only bought 1 or 2 units at that end of my tolerance. Sure some people say...." 6 MONTHS?! That's an amazing return on investment compared to other businesses!". Well....this isn't like other businesses. For the very reasons our friend pointed out in this post. The harsh truth is, he's right. Even the newer releases will not be overly compelling. Unless you are going at huge scale. By that I mean 1000 units or more. Prediction; A LOT of people and groups that are "all in" on mining and expanding and scaling at too fast a pace will be going broke in the next 6-12 months. There are TONS of entities, that are bringing in investors and "fast money" to finance their dreams. They pay WAY to much for infrastructure, WAY too much for Hardware and WAY too much for RMA. Their bodies will soon be all over the place. Soon people will talk about mining with the same disdain as they talk about cancer. Then and only THEN, will it be time to get into mining. Mark my words.... yep...always knew I'd be at the wrong end of miner buying someday...I can only be lucky as a big miner for so many years...seems it is back to hobby mining...(a couple of some ASIC flavor coin in the basement for fun and heat in the winter maybe only). But went like 6 L3+'s too far this last early spring...oh well, It was a good run from 2013 to spring of 2018 and ROI'ing on everything...but looking with Bitmain...that IF the price and difficulty wipe out ALL miners, then their own and any miners they may have on deck (the supposed 1.5gh L3+) well if it is just Bitmain being able to mine pow-scrypt all Summer of 2018 only....because all other pow-scrypt previous units have been wiped off the earth and unminable....well...I sure am not gonna be much of a pow-scrypt coin supporter..watching Bitmain makes dough all Summer on say (supposed) new miner with a pre-offer order for the rest of us in late fall 2018. Hell, I'll buy a bunch of LISK (pos staking coin) and walk away completely first...(why do I feel this is very likely how this is gonna fly?) Hope I am wrong...but not gonna play their pump them out for their own use on pre-order game and then pump them out like toasters after the fact game anymore..I'm out likely...

ZenCash network was the target of a 51% attack Those double spendings is a hype among hackers these days lol. It's amazing how the two 51% attacks that I heard about are Equihash coins that intend to fork away to a new algo due to Bitmain's recently released Z9 ASIC. However, Jihan denies Bitmain would ever do that. In fact Jihan told Zooko Wilcox that they don't do stealth mining at all and Zooko believed him. Heh, the data hall I'm with has been setting up supposed NEW machines from Bitmain...they all have dust and such an obviously, have been run before...ask your data hall guy....if you don't believe me...it has been an open secret for those guys getting stuff in bulk for years...this is not just L3+ miners...but all flavors of ASIC miners...

Seriously if this is legit I will rub it in the face of everyone who shat on this. But if it's a scam, i'll let you have it :p
Either way you troll will sit and cry in a corner hehe I will sit in the corner but wont cry. I know the risk i'm taking Believe me, you may think you can 'man up' on this and not cry a river...but you ALWAYS cry after the fact...it's a given! I really hope I'm wrong and it works out...that would mean I'd have a real shot at being Natalie Portman's Love Puppet...the odds of this working to me are about the same...slim to none...(sigh...why do all my modest dreams have to die...)

Well, today I had a buddy buy some LISK and download the LISK Hub Wallet and help him.
He got through it all without my help. His only beef was that liskelite.com_pay was not taking any NEW applicants...(guess I got in under
the wire on that back in the day).
Anyway, no issues for a pure newbie to figure it out.

Hmmm... have you ever heard an ID-card or passport scan is needed for a wire-transfer? Will one risk identity theft? Should I better think twice?Quote: You need to pay (in euro) according to the bank details: Bank: Rietumu Banka, Vesetas 7, Riga, LV-1013, LATVIA SWIFT RTMBLV2X Recipient of payment: EPAYMENTS SYSTEMS LTD CLIENTS FUNDS Palladium House 1-4 Argyll Str. London, United Kingdom IBAN LV41RTMB0000634806048 Payment details (required): e-Wallet 001-522142 After payment you need to send a payment confirmation to e-mail dwarfminersales@hotmail.com with the number of your order in the subject line and wait for the confirmation of the manager. Example: "Confirmation of payment for order #1234" Remember that a bank transfer will require you to provide to us your ID-card or passport scan. Without these documents our bank can not be able to process the payment. BTW, order number has passed #14k. If they had sold 2300 units at #1447 like DwarfMiner said, have they now sold 10x? That would be about 8 million Euro... batch 2 already gone? It is not hard obviously to sell stuff that does not exist...sorry for your loss... as to wire xfer...anyone I've ever done in the states, makes me sign an 'at your own risk form' once money sent it is gone...as good as cash...no redress (at least the overseas wire xfers..only kind I've done)

Well just to be consistent...what I'm getting now as of 6/3/18. Bitmain L3+ 500mh 800 watts at $124.50 LTC at USA average of Summer Rates of 12c kwh now 72c per day per L3+ 24 hours 0.02430191 LTC 3.03 USD 2.30 USD 0.72 USD 7 days 0.17011338 LTC 21.18 USD 16.13 USD 5.05 USD 30 days 0.72905735 LTC 90.77 USD 69.12 USD 21.65 USD Hardly inspiring, but what the heck..it is some progress. I still think my end date for shutting off the L3+ miners (16 equiv L3+ in hash) will be July 4th, 2018...just can't see it being pushed any farther. brad Have not gotten around to doing these mods yet. Will take me a couple weeks. But of course this should improve your bottom line somewhat and stall doorstop status.

$125 for a full Titan with controller I sold only a controller a while back for $300. Once and a while I do get my hands on these but I will not sell them for the prices here on BTCtalk, way too low not sure...what I get on a Titan for LTC on www.litecoinpool.org This is a free pool that pays out a 101% by the by. this is 300mh at 1,250 watts at $124 LTC and USA average Summer Rates of 12c kwh. NEGATIVE -$1.79 per day! For LTC on above pool! 24 hours 0.01458115 LTC 1.81 USD 3.60 USD -1.79 USD 7 days 0.10206803 LTC 12.66 USD 25.20 USD -12.54 USD 30 days 0.43743441 LTC 54.24 USD 108.00 USD -53.76 USD I suppose with less electric rate this MAY break even. But I doubt it. Good Luck..but if I don't get these prices this week....likely to get them next week. brad

Yep, the guy who wrote the article has a lot of faith in IBM..in that Bitcoin with its Blockchain is 9+ years ahead! Quite the headstart, don't ya know...But IBM knowing all and its centralized viewpoint that is of 'little concern' they feel I bet... But I'm sure, IBM feels that is only a 'fair' lead time for whatever awesome blockchain they are developing, so they are not concerned...

It's quiet. Been very busy myself as well, and I really don't want to fix Bitmain's junk so things have quieted down at LF Labs. If a miner comes along that has potential to hold value like the Titan did I can always help out.
sent you a pm brad

revised ----------------------------------8/11/18 --------------------------- Well, obviously folk do not like my prices. So if you have ANY KNC Titan boards or KNC Y power adapters or titan cubes, etc. I'm also interested in Neptune Controllers. Let me know and we can haggle on price. I think probably, folk will want more than I'm willing to pay to 'dork around with this more' but we will see. At least we will both know. thanks for looking! later brad revised ----------------------- 8/11/18-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8/11/18 offers Just an FYI on what the market is doing for KNC Titans. I split a KNC Titan (6 cubes or 3 cubes for each of us) for $325 and including shipping. Got it off Ebay. That comes out for me and my buddy at $162.50 each. With the 'good old' 25% equipment deduction in 1 year off taxes owed IRS angle. That drops the 'real' price to $121.88 for a 3 cube Titan. IF the controller is worth 1 cube, that comes out to approximately $30.47 AFTER EQUIP DEDUCTION TO IRS. IF you include the controller at the same price as a cube. (See my above 3 cubes with controller Ebay price) Anyway, again, willing to pay $180 a 4 cube unit (complete) or $45 a working cube, using the above figures as a guide. These prices include shipping. I am a bit lower than the above auction, because of the week delay to set this up and pay on here and likely a week to ship. Not out of malice. Time is money kinda shipping/thing. So I think $180 for a complete 4 cube Titan with controller complete and shipping. Or $45 bucks a cube is fair. Again will split that with my buddy, so he gets 1/2.....just so everyone does not think I'm too crazy at these prices. Anyway, above info for those 'lurking' gives you an idea 'as of today' what you can get per controller or cube with the above, both before and after the 25% equip deduction. They need something to read on this thread of note as well, even if NOT selling. later Brad

All the jew hating on here..my /ignore list is filling up! It is all so 'silly' and such a 'generalization' to blame a group for whatever reason.... it's a money thing..those that have and those that do not...money and power concentrate...at least in uncontrolled 'crony capitalism' of the 18th century and standard oil and the Rockefellers etc....seems it is doing so quite rapidly again this decade as well...there will be backlash IMHO, as it has 'swung' too far ..but we will see... money has no religion ...it is all about 'power' over others to your advantage. any other theory is just silly
