Okay so I've tried Bitfinex...meh  Don't really like design/layout of site. Why do people not like cryptsy? Edit:finally got coins back from mintpal LOL at kryptofoo's post. Cryptsy works. *most* of the time. Their systems are flaky and I have problems with withdrawing about 50% of the time. Confirmations can take forever too although that is partially due to their unpublished security procedures for new members. On the plus side, their tech support team is great and they are big DRK fans. |

I'm still here. just dumped the balance @ 300 to get rid of this coin, soley based on you and that loquacious "twat" murmuring how busy he has been tp entertain the masses with his brilliance. I have implemented every piece of advice given to me in that thread, including less frequent posts, more interaction with people, and less links. I have changed a lot since the beginning, based on feedback. My tweets post every 45 min.(it was 10 at the start) and interaction happens whenever I get a chance. Have you even looked at my Twitter feed?
My follower list continues to grow, check it out, there are more than a few surprises there.
I am gaining followers from all walks of life, bankers, radicals, BTC startup CEOs, and have attracted interest from OKCoin (you know the Chinese Exchange can you say DRK/CNY? ).
Check my thread, my efforts are NOT being wasted, and I am relentless. This initiative is net positive for DRK and I'm not about to let some whiners stop me.
Evan Duffield and Fernando Gutierrez are firmy behind this initiative, and it will continue, so join me, or do not, I don't care, but get used to it.
We are spreading the word here. We have an awesome coin, lets show it off!
To the dude that dumped his stash partly due to me, I hope the door didn't hit you on the way out!

So if you run a MN 24/24h every day you get about 200DRK per year?
A projected view based on current values would be 317DRK a year. In reality, as the coin has been through several phases of iterative development and piloting, the returns have been lower. However since RC5, the masternode payments have returned to a random distribution model that will probably pay you between 200 and 317 DRK per year per node. Masternode payments are currently being tested to work on the basis of sequential payment (as I understand it, I stand to be corrected) so you might soon lose out on the luck factor in return for some more reliability of payment. |

Tante, I don't know you or much about you but one thing I do know is that you are somebody who shouldn't be apologising for expressing a reasoned and balanced view. Expressing a valid opinion doesn't make you grumpy, or old, or a lady for the sake of completeness. From my newbie perspective, you are the voice of reason who intervenes when things get silly now and again |

You know, this thread really gets annoyingly boring when people decide they have to justify their decisions to the rest of the world for whatever they do. I don't mind the analysis, but the stupid "I don't like him so I'm going" tantrums just make you look stupid. Really, keep it to yourself, and seriously people, do you really care? Do you need to answer?
I have so little time to come here, and when I do, it's 50/50 chance that I get something good to read (something funny, informative or enlightening) The rest of the time, it's ugh!

If you don't have DRK and help, you never know, you might get tipped |

I don't think i am spamming because I offer the following to the DRK community: I own a website the pays its members in bitcoin and now Darkcoin for doing simple and free tasks such as clicking ads, joining other free sites, posting tweets, and you earn some just for logging into your account each day. I also started the DRK lotto site in hopes to raise funds for bounties to improve the coin. I do not make any money from the lotteries...I do plan to ad a small footer ad to earn some revenue from the site but all lotto earnings will be put into bounties (I will post them on the darkcointalk forum). And now I accept DRK for ad space @ http://moneyinpjs.com/index.php/advertise Honestly mate I wouldn't be defensive about it. If we don't like your perceived intentions we will click ignore. Dont be sorry he was never a DRK supporter to start with. This is the most ridiculous reason to come across selling that many coins, yesterday he did not sell, only today.

The fact that a bo-peep sale of 9000 coins is able to move the market like it does is another problem, though.
You're definitely not wrong. Our market is currently stable by DRK standards but volatile by any reasonable real world standards This coin is less than a year old. It will find its niche and stabilise and grow from there. |

This is uncouth. The gentleman behind that twitter account is working hard for something he believes in and a large portion of the DRK community are grateful to him for it. He invests a lot of time and effort into this coin because he holds a belief that you do not hold yourself. You called him a clown. That is not particularly respectful or polite. I personally feel that an apology is due. See, I had various, serious discussions with "that gentleman" on http://darkcointalk.org/ where I provided him with a bunch of suggestions regarding the best Twitter practices. (based on studies and researches about Twitter campaign's efficiency, not on my opinion) He did not adopt a single one but kept spamming. I KNOW the people support that, I understand we like to see our beloved coin mentioned on Twitter, but compare "All" vs. "Top" results while searching for #darkcoin and you'll see how his twits disappear in the later. That tiny detail, of having one of the most vocal supporters of the coin I myself support (some of my friends followed my investments in DRK and ended up fully invested and quite unhappy thus far) acting not fully responsible, driven by the most noble feelings and fervor instead of reason, was yet another element that made me make a decision discussed several posts above. Such a Twitter feed might, for some, look like a desperate attempt to promote something that is not of real value that grows on the merit of its quality. So, see, even someone I liked, whose efforts I tried to support was a part of the overall bad feeling about near-term Darkcoin price's future. (just the price, not the technology, with a worry over the image it projects) But, even with 50% DRK 50% BTC I feel a tad better. And I will keep holding enough DRK to support it, to make a nice profit it goes up (and than I would NOT sell it, on the contrary) and if it goes below 0.0045 I will buy another bundle. So it is not that bad after all  If you don't agree with the individual's approach, then direct your concern to members of the foundation. They are ultimately responsible for marketing and the person in question is at least trying which is more than can be said by most people who own DRK who post on here. |
