Good luck Monero!  You only have to quintuple in value to catch up with Dash!

Argueably DASH presents a multitude of daily trade volume and some impressive array of trading sites and exchange pairings. You can flip through the list of 30 entries here http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/darkcoin/#markets
On Bitfinex there is a direct DASH/USD market, and additionally BTER offers with DASH/CNY a bridge into China (however Bter is flagged as beeing risky on my landmap).

And DASH/EUR and DASH/GBP pairings at a couple of exchange based in London too.

I think daily volume for DASH has been hitting $250,000 recently...not big money but nice nonetheless.

In other news, I finally got round to replying to Ferdous of MintPal as he'd said that their Monero XMR were still safe and that he'd send them back, I think the deadline on that was the 31st March so I was a bit last minute, but he sent them immediately so that was a nice surprise.

Shame the effing BTC is nowhere to be seen  Roll Eyes

Hi,

I can't seem to be able to place my reward bet.  Is there a problem with your site?  Grin

Thanks for betting at DirectBet.

According to our records you already claimed all your VIP rewards for this month.

If you want to verify that, please e-mail us and we will provide you with the IDs of all your free VIP rewards bets.

They are all recorded in the blockchain.

The VIP Reward credit that you saw was displayed in error as a result of the recent currency name change from Darkcoin to Dash.

Hi, I know, was just being tongue in cheek.  Made my heart flutter for a second is all.

Monero community shows its nature, it has no time for developing, but has a lot of time for DASH trolling, so I've sold all my XMR and bought DASH today, because DASH community engaged in development, testing and productive discussions.

Its a shame that a tiny minority of XMR supporters have had such a negative impact on their own interests but nevertheless...WELCOME  Smiley
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash Speculation. on: March 30, 2015, 04:05:51 PM
I actually wasn't being sarcastic.

I freelanced for years and gradually turned my one man company into a "handful of people" company.  It was tough to keep continuous employment despite a solid track record at banks and venture capital companies etc.  If you can keep yourself going for 8 years straight from uni, there must be something to you.  I doff my cap to him.

BTC Drak, core dev of VIA, has blown the whistle on Mr. Masternode (the CEO of DASH) and his altcoin gangster shenanigans.  Now we know!

Total and utter bullshit.  Even the Via community doesn't support this utterly insane claim.

iCEBREAKER needs more than Xanax.

I apologise for quoting the trolls but outright liars really piss me off.  Back on ignore I guess.

i will get out and and will contribute to something decentralized and anonymous.

vertoe, you are always welcome over at Monero Mountain, where the ponies and mustangs run Wild & FreeTM

Unlike DigitalTrash, we will never rebrand, change the block reward, exploit volunteers, or have a bus factor of 1.

We also have tacos!   Cool

Monero is Neil Armstrong to Bitcoin's Yuri Gagarin eh Icebreaker?

To be honest I think everyday that went by with the debates between which is better, DRK, XMR or SDC made Isidor's review more irrelevant. The original purpose of the review was to get someone qualified to approve the code and say "hey we got something special here."

Who is this Isidor person, what is their background and what are their qualifications?

stonehedge: I assume you incorrectly edited drAGon925's post?

Answer: german computer scientist + cryptographer iirc
sterling rep. worked with cryptos and BTC + on BTC mailing list
bit of an enigma… we're gonna find out a lot more soon

u cant find him on BCT or twitter iirc. To the best of my knowledge he is incorruptible and by all accounts his reputation preceedes him.

Apologies, I must have been distracted while typing.

If he is Isidor Zeuner, he's on linked-in.  Just found him.

My mission is to provide quality software solutions to demanding small and medium sized businesses. I've been able to provide the little extra edge to companies in different industries:

* domain names
* e-mail marketing
* tourism
* business intelligence
* market research
* telecommunications
* search engines
* financial

For building these solutions, I focus on technologies which come with superior access to all involved layers (examples would be: Linux, Bitcoin), thereby creating environments where the route is open for both future in-house solutions, and integrating third party resources. The philosophy is to remain agile by maintaining the preconditions for future decisions based on technical advantages instead of restrictions of the chosen setup.

8 years self employed as an IT Consultant with no other jobs listed.  That's actually really impressive straight from Uni.  Its hard to freelance as an IT Consultant without post degree employment experience unless your reputation precedes you.

The sync is really fast compared to other coins!

Lots of nodes thats why Wink

Its still a bit slow for my liking...I seem to remember reading something about a potential improvement to sync speeds in the future.  Sadly I can't remember specifically what the proposal was.

You mean the abbreviation of the blockchain? if that, masternodes will create a second blockchain that will abbreviate A to B to C to D into A to D. Full blockchain available too, but for most clients the abbreviated one will be enough. Being much smaller sync will be dashing fast!

That's the puppy!  Pretty cool stuff.

I don't think we shout enough about the fact that masternodes can provide other services other than privacy-centric ones.

Adam is just angry he lost all his money "investing" in shitcoins. Just check his post history for the lulz. I don't want to kick anyone when they're down but Adam is one of those rare individuals who deserve it.

Not too late to buy DASH...

Well done GTO, AdamWhite and the other people FUDing Dash 24/7....you're even alienating people with no association with Dash.  I'm surprised that your own coin communities haven't intervened yet.

Explain to me how this thread is "FUD" stonehedge. You should look up what FUD means.. or do you agree with the posters in the OP?

Why don't you try doing something good for crypto instead of supporting a known criminal enterprise trying to commit the crypto scam of the decade by trying to pass itself off as a legit coin.

BTW, vertoe just 'fudded' your cult thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg10925445#msg10925445

no.

i left because i disagree darkcoin or however it will be called next year is not a decentralized entity. it never was but i ignored it as long as darkcoin was following the same path i was following. the path to total financial privacy. and thats why i am so upset about how this currency is lead by a single person. darkcoin is like an old conservative company with strong hierarchical comamnd structures and a single person on the top of the pyramid. evan duffield. the rebranding using a detergent name was just a step forward in creating something like apple or paypal. fuck this i tell you. what we need is a trustless, decentralized and anonymous currency. darkcoin is not decentralized as it still relies on a single person. and this reaches deep into the code base.

the core devs were just a bunch of volunteers exploited for the big thing. the extended darkcoin team was the same with even a lower place to sit on that pyramid. and what was the darkcoin foundation again? right, something to reserve some rights on some names and collect money. who nominated and voted for the foundation board? who does even know who are these guys? how did we learn about the foundation? from local news papers! the team listings kept counting names of people nobody ever noticed before. and they never committed anything visible to the community or the repository. and i was spending 25 hours a day monitory everything that happened in the darkcoin community for more than a year. the things going on here are fishy, intransparent and rely on a single entity.

i will get out and and will contribute to something decentralized and anonymous. i always hoped darkcoin could fill that void. i cant blame anyone to stay with this project. you are probably investors trying to win a gold donkey. or you are simply trying to exploit every possible vector of profit in the coins space. whatever. you are not here because darkcoin is something it claims to be.

if you disagree with my statement above, i dont care, but answer that simple question: what if evan duffield suddenly announces he quits the project tomorrow morning?

good luck

Do you know Kyle Hagan or the context of the comments you have posted above?  Were you present during the incident?  Light was encouraging a man with significant life responsibilities to improve his behaviour.  The fact you have chosen to portray that post as threatening categorizes this thread as FUD.

Vertoe posted his opinions on our thread, some of which are valid and need to be addressed.  To be fair, not all of what Vertoe has posted has been qualified or quantified as yet but as Vertoe has a very high trust rating in crypto, in the DASH community and computer science in general he gets  a certain amount of benefit of the doubt.

What have you been doing for Crypto recently?  When was the last time you visited crypto conferences and educated people about privacy issues?  Have you funded any developers or test environments or encouraged retailers to accept crypto for payment?

I'm having a hard time seeing what positivity you're bringing to the party and its not just the DASH community that is wondering what is up with your behaviour.
