has any other coin successfully added dark coin mixing service. i have read its a complete clone of darkcoin but didnt darkcoin keep the mixing code closed and only offers it for a payment which i've heard is not little either.i'm trying to find one a couple of other coins wanted it but the price was high. can anyone shed light on this
Complete nonsense. Darkcoin is completely open source and no part has ever been for sale. It is true to say that that the darksend aspect was the most recent bit to be opensourced. The developers did not want to make it available for use until they had got it working properly and safely in the wild themselves. ok cool i thought thedarksend code was still closed. i remember when it was closed they were charging 45btc. its great its open source now I think you must be confused with another coin. Darkcoin has never charged for any of its code and never will. |

An exact clone of Darkcoin. Don't waste your time/money on this. This is obviously an attempt by the so called "dev" to make some dough off of other peoples misfortune/stupidity. It's getting sickening how many clones are around these days. I don't usually post things like this but it's getting absurd.
i agree with you. but also everycoin clone the idea of bitcoin.  if dev can keep develop this,then it has some value. anyway, this is the first clone of darkcoin? do we have any other darkcoin clone? Spreadcoin was the first Darkcoin clone although they have put significant effort into rewriting how masternodes work amongst other things. Once they get those features out of testnet it will be quite different to Darkcoin... |

I think that Mr Spread was invited to join the Darkcoin dev team but declined.
He probably secretly accepted the offer to use SPR's ideas on DarkCoin lol Sadly some of the innovations that Mr Spread used for masternodes were trialled and rejected by Darkcoin some time ago. I think this is why Darkcoin devs wanted him on board...to share the problems they encountered to better harness Mr Spread's abilities. There would have been nothing stopping Mr Spread starting his own coin a bit later once he had learned more about the pitfalls of masternodes and masternode payments. There is a reason why Darkcoin had to come up with the temporary solution of the "reference node" and Mr Spread and Spreadcoin was running straight towards it. |
