After the rebranding, no news ? What's the next step for dash ? More decentralization ? InstantX and darksend are opensource or not ?
Plenty of news but I feel that communications aren't what they need to be at the moment. Most stuff seems to be discussed/announced on DCT...

Not Heather McCartney?
There's more than one amputee in the world otoh Pippa got married recently actually...to a man who lost both his legs in Afghanistan. One leg between the two of them. She was one of the torch bearers for the Paralympics. It was such an awesome sight to see her running towards Stratford on the last day of the relay less than two years after her accident.

Nargh, I know that you're still too attached to it really Look forward to seeing you in Blighty next month, do you have a saw By coincidence I did buy a new rough saw this weekend! Let me know if you're going to be in London at any point. I owe you a glass or two of something. Will do, second week of April, drinks will be on me Must stop googling, yuk http://www.medicalexhibits.com/obrasky/2008/08082_01X.jpgMedicine is so gross A very good friend of mine who lost her leg below the knee in a motorbike accident was desperate to take her leg home in a jar. Not surprisingly the surgeons came up with an excuse about not having a jar large enough. Anyway...lets not put people off their continental breakfasts...

Positive note... This has created the opportunity to buy more masternodes. I'm putting up another 10 this week.... Yes. I might wait for further drop though... Let's see what happens.
Really? Some $45K ++ into it, just like that, when the price movement is not clear at all? I am not doubting you, I am in awe. I'm putting up 30 early this week with https://node40.com I'll let you all know how it goes, it was their project that mostly made me decide to go more all in so soon Edit: the coins have already been bought, today and yesterday, so don't expect any mass buy, I wanted to do that fast, now I will get back to waiting for any low bulk buying ops, there was a nice sell wall near spot on Cryptsy earlier but I managed to resist, lets see what Monday brings These are the new MN addies btw, should be earning rewards in a few days, 30 MN addies all with their 1,000 DASH VIN ready to go: Xuo8ucvo8V8h1e3vmmtN7Bq5NwwPeASCYj XtV7jbRtjLao3ms5TTmim5myqBvscWkPgW XbkFSjhWczkuY48FRCpFSh7itzuxtCZo4g XpnWaUSS8cXpym4pZgi6SrQRFQpRqGXh19 Xo4YoXdiPWCQy3BFx2vVZBYVDhWNxSxrbA XjDzvvnwSrvzCuXzGV2VTxkQCspToCMMHV XvRGkYB4GCxukYecvYX9zvmkaKmKrKASYb XuSnV34uJxcrk5NhBkGYoMeRZ7ZUrdCWve XoMUUmveoyKbk8nTSVVWsAAz5CksHsymXs XduTQ7bx55CEpsPWkwdNbfBiWjEz2Ywvi8 Xtd78H68FArMJPdGZhXghjHmcM5YA8Fm1z Xfr2FEhSTyVgvp1d9dpGLJFx38jHubqCAD XmYwrnuLLAY3eLBqRw9H9ottiop8vhZPRu Xj5YPbn1CGMyQJZZeaQZL71C5En6Nwc8V5 XoARDLEii9QxZfYgHDKGwLCu2Vkdz95mvL Xr3Ra7BXt1puCo2vBNnpehoiAf13JrnPhV XyW5FwKBE9qUgYHifDxo8AzB9pZSzj2wvd XsMpxb5vGHdNzmfosNdrumkjtv8aApBoUW Xs6r1FnhGHbY3Exh2dGcvD7uaQwg1fmuij XhbVhWLheJpzV9B7yNwQuE7VcYagsTWdnD XkJxCbUGgzqCTAUP3rPSXHtRJJMcRdBwMc XrFcwqRQa58vwYcrUbyUoVN52Zr1Y6TfmF XsjDViezVvwAjhXr3M6Vd229HzKS5tGu4h XpQ2zHwKJUJ6P5Cs6YU8bKDsxLitYrQWGu XpXxspQS65btyzMyvV39Q6UCd8xECbtYTU XcUPFa6F1hiR3Qfg4SKvLpXvrGn8QasYBs Xws3JXscycDfcL27Qj6hZE8DgbgHGvt79s XroQCNyRHRedShiYFFvxcYdAW3u5WdCkmN XyukcjFCVcnRG4ceNWjByZkPjj3t8n2hbS XhKG9zfUe38bCj3F1NhdaokzJhNoNogUJn So Otoh, I've got that leg you wanted. Two things
- 2014 was actually the safest year on record for commercial flying if you exclude the shooting down of the plane over the Ukraine. I know lots of civilians died but for the purposes of airline safety statistics, acts of war are generally excluded.
- It is grossly offensive to suggest that depression was the reason this plane was crashed and those people murdered. It shows a misunderstanding of what depression is. Whatever the reason is that the co-pilot crashed that plane, it wasn't simply because he had been treated for depression . It could even have been a failure by his GP to taper his depression medication appropriately. There is also a non-depression health related issue that will be reported in the coming days which may have been a contributing factor to his state of mind.
Suicide is never a rational act. Attempting to rationalise it by using depression as a cause is at least partially misleading and the mass media (at least in the UK) has been shameful in its reporting.

Likewise, I met Tante today irl and we traded a MN, wonderful person and perfect trade, we chatted for hours. Looking forward to meeting up again when I'm next in Calif! We also shared a bottle of Veuve Clicquot as amazingly BTer yesterday returned the coins that I'd bought there for a CNY/DRK wall after two weeks of it looking ever more so that they weren't going to, so celebrations and parties all round Incidentally, the wall that I put up in CNY when they got hacked for Bitcoin, I later sold to DRK a couple of weeks ago when they re-initiated trading of it, I paid over the market price as I just wanted to get my funds out of there - that seemed sort of suspect to them so it's been a long struggle until they unexpectedly finally released my money, which was after an email from tungfa's Chinese friend and I'm very grateful to them both for the help that they offered me and to their commitment to involve the Chinese crypto social networks community in this as well if it had proved necessary. Anyway the DASH are now worth 150 BTC, up 50% from when I sent them on the 13th Feb, so it's all good and ended well Great news Otoh, really glad for you. EDIT: Off topic rant warning. I treated four friends to tickets for the Brazil vs Chile game today and they're not going "because it is raining" and the tickets are not transferrable. How lame is that?!

Windows/Mac only ones would be a fair bit cheaper. Linux support comes at a premium it seems.
Cool. I shall continue negotiations with my supplier.

A quick straw poll if I may.
I have a source of FIPS certified encrypted USB pen drives. They would likely be priced at about 6 DASH depending on where I'd be posting to. This should be cheaper than buying from other retailers.
Do you think crypto people would be interested?
Sadly you cannot boot from these devices. They are 4GB capacity and in use by UK military and government, they self erase if password is entered incorrectly 7 times.
Maybe useful for private key backup?

Come on stonehedge, you can spare one for 30,000 DASH I'm sure That's not asking an arm and a leg at least Does it have to be my leg? Don't joke Otoh. You know I'm a desperate man Not up for negotiation, sorry. But if you and Mrs Hedge were Japanese then you could restore your honor and a few coins with just a little finger or something I expect What would you give me for an ear? On that note I'm off to bed. Have a good surf Otoh. Edit: Just remembered we are off to Tokyo in a few months. I'll put a classified ad out

I need to sleep, they can come to me if they like, np, the bid walls aren't going anywhere, it's 3AM & I'm up early to start trans continental travels tomorrow, well that's later this week but I leave home in a few hours to start the voyage.
Otoh, the friendly darkwhale friendly until........................................I always meant to reply to this post from back in the old 0.006 days when my walls first went up, so better late than never, it is extremely rare for whales in the wild to attack humans, of course it's a totally different matter when whales are kept in captivity and all that BS like having their calves removed from them and being kept in a mind numbingly sterile and imprisoned environment. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/blackfish-documentary-exposes-dark-side-2801009 <-- Where the photo came from and puts it in perspective. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackfish_%28film%29I like to see myself as more the living in the wild kind, where I'm staying atm is overlooking the ocean in Ventura, so time for a bit of surfing I think. http://www.surfline.com/surf-forecasts/southern-california/ventura_2952Hmmm, legs yum That's it, I'm definitely not doing business with you now. I like having legs!

The latest shift for the Xpool Multipool paid out over 6+ DASH, 73+ BTCD, 48+ FIBRE, 2250+ BITS & 0.126+ BTC. Any problems, please PM or post to the Xpool thread linked in my forums sig as I may miss your post. Cheers! www.xpool.caDude, enough pool spam. You don't see slush posting their latest shift stats in Bitcoin threads, so keep xpool stuff in the xpool thread, OK? Cleverly disguising your xpool ads as "updates" isn't fooling anyone. You reported this to mods before and they deemed it acceptable. Whats your problem with this?
