Nice price rise today too. The sun is shining in the shadows

600 Altcoins, with a combined value of $460m, $200m excluding Ripple.
600 projects! Lets say 100-200 Devs, 2,000-4,000 supporters overall.
Imagine if those projects coordinated efforts around a handful of projects. Bitcoin wouldn't have a chance.
All the scams would be significantly reduced too.
You can see people dumping alts all over the place to go and try to make a quick buck on the various altcoin mafia scams going on at the moment. Some genuine projects getting hurt. Its a real shame. Greed beats technological advancement hands down I guess.

Is the plan to stick with SpreadX11? If so (booo! ) I'm quite tempted to put some effort into a SPR multipool.

I love the fact the the OP has been called out to prove that his claims are possible in testnet but can't do it...because its a flawed theory.
I don't have any false illusions that Dash is perfect but it has been a long time since somebody has come up with a vulnerability that actually works.
Possibly the last person was that dude who managed to manipulate masternode payments for a while?

I only test first 25 blocks which is onlt 25 CF. about 0.00009% And dev stated 25 block test in OP. Seems fair to me.

Mr. Spread was Last Active: February 16, 2015, 09:07:09 AM This is an intriguing and seemingly highly staged development What do you mean? imgur is blocked at this office so I can't see that. My point is that if Mr Spread walked away, why organise his wallets unless he plans to come back? Unless of course he is pleased with the progress the new team have made and is simply preparing to benefit from their success... Question: Whats the total coin supply at the moment?

I don't understand why I should mine this coin.
Is californium going to come out of my antminers? I'm not sure I have enough time or money to buy enough lead to protect myself from the radiation if so.

Will Trace Mayer support the thunderclap campaign, that's the question!

And yes, I was never involved with crave or any other coin after I departed from darkcoin. Not sure why these rumours persist so hard.
Because your reputation is such that your involvement in a coin is seen as a positive thing by investors and this fact was exploited by countless paid shills during the Crave pumps. It was stated as fact to me (by PM) that you were working full time on Crave pretty much at the same time we were having a PM exchange but made it pretty clear that the shill accounts were being dishonest rather than you If you're deemed valuable to an asset, people will try to use your rep.

buy support are appearing and disappearing.....1 to 6 btc
For now, IMO price should have no importance. Cypher have 13 days. Much mined it only to dump (to puch price down -> competitors) or make fast profit (miners). Personally, I will keep my 100k and check price in one year If the team behind this coin is really a group of talented cyberpunks, Cyper have a great future. EDIT: If not, I lose 2,6 BTC I send 1k CYP to whome decrypt this message in the next 24 hours HCNMS FHUDZ ETBJH EHKNR DSGDR DASB HCNMS FHUDZ ETBJH EHKNR DSGDR DASB I dont give a fuck if i loose these btc I just solved it and didn't realise that you had too...I just though you were making a statement! @vertoe: I do hope that if you chose to make something out of cache, that you somehow figure out how to do it without rewarding the fibonacci scam crew for the cachecoins that they should still hold. In my mind, this coin should be left dead for good. @Newbies to cache: This coin was used as one of the major pump/funding sources for an ASIC project scam that never delivered. A very large portion of the existing coins are presumed to be held by a criminal group, and legal action is in motion. The previous developer has sold his bitcointalk account, after numerous posts claiming that updates were in preparation. Needless to say, these updates never saw the light of day. For further reading on the fibonacci scam, you can start here: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702.0For details on the legal action, some info is here: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=22912.0Exercise caution, do your research...At the time when the fibonacci scam happened the market cap of this coin was roughly 200k CACH available supply. Assuming Jasin Lee was able to get hands on a major part of it, let's say 50% with his actions, he holds around 100k CACH which is currently worth around 1 BTC and is less than 5% of the current available supply which is 2,258,900 CACH. Jasin is an idiot and I'm not affiliated with him in anyways and I personally dont think he will profit from this coin because it wont hit 0.01 BTC ever again! About Cachecoin, I was here from the first day and I was always in love with it. I will work on this project a little bit to keep it running. The first thing will be a modern wallet based on latest blockchain technology. I will continue using this thread without making new announcements. Once I created something I can show I might create a new thread. https://github.com/vertoe/cachecoinhttps://github.com/vertoe/cachecoin-binhttps://github.com/vertoe/p2pool-cachhttps://github.com/vertoe/p2pool-scannerP2Pool Scanner: http://windsor.cach.co:8337/Chain Explorer: http://explorer.cach.co/P2Pool seems to experience some issues though. What's the reason to revive a dead coin associated to criminals and scammers? Other than "I have a huge bag and I figure I could profit from it", could you state your intentions or plans for the coin, if any? Didn't you start a few days ago a new thread talking about your own coin announcement to then later delete it? Not trolling or attacking, just some serious concerns. I assume that Vertoe is planning on a new ANN thread, posted one and then had a change of heart whilst considering his options as to what to do next after having a big void left after leaving DASH. Please correct me if I'm wrong vertoe but I believe that vertoe never worked for Crave. I know a lot of newbie accounts were posting around to the dash community trying to get people to sell Dash and buy crave on the alledged news that vertoe had agreed to work for crave. I believe this to be a lie. I'm personally not buying in until I see some plans and ideas but I'm going to be watching this very closely. Vertoe is one of the most honorable and capable devs who I have had the privilege of working with and if I think this project has legs, I'll chuck a few BTC in.

I don't even pretend to read all the posts here anymore, my new job has me busier than a one armed taxi driver with an itchy bum.
I don't think Dash has lost it's way, all of crypto must evolve.
A non reversible payment platform is a massive paradigm shift for pretty much everyone, it will take time...
Good post. Made me laugh too. And gave me an itchy bum.

That was pretty sneaky, Vertoe! Don't tease us like this! Don't let that be the last post we see from you. We could use you back, man. Dash is a Digital Cash that can be used for anything, and you can have a hand in making it happen. Also, there is a fund for developers now. Keep that in mind. Take your time, though, if you need to. I was posting it because it is a very interesting pull request from a technological perspective. I'm surprised to see udjin did a dirty merge of the bitcoin master (which is not 0.10.0 but 0.10.99 btw) and it seems to work out. I've been waiting to see the 0.12 wallet. Will test it. But I have to disappoint you, I will not return or contribute to darkcoin as long as it is nothing more than a company selling a product. And I dont want to offend anyone when I say I simply have to smile when I see that darkcoin wants to take on bitcoin. Bitcoin is a consensus protocol specification, a team of developers maintaining a reference implementation, miners sustaining the consensus throughout the network and a democratic foundation which does nothing than public relations. Darkcoin has none of this and should take the time to learn why it's important to support decentralization over corporate-like behaviour, why it's important to achieve a network consensus by miners not developers and why it's important to have democratic fallback infrastructure in place in case there are disputes without consensus. darkcoin is competion for paypal, not bitcoin. corporations can fail. cryptocurrencies cant. mistrust authority, promote decentralization. I agree with most of what vertoe has said here. The technology still has the potential that it always has but DRK/Dash is beginning to lose its way imho. I hope this isn't seen as a bitter post on the basis that I lost all of my DRK. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this project, the amount of work that volunteers put in and the structure of the foundation (even had a fantastic evening chatting it over with Otoh with a few beers and a burger last week). From my perspective it isn't clear to me whether 1 Dash will be a share or a coin in the future.
