I keep thinking about sticking 10BTC in and then remembering that it would be madness!

The third option that you're missing is: continuously attack Darkcoin masternodes in order to increase the profit of my masternode. Malice doesn't need to come from law enforcement, nor does it have to care about the longevity of the network.

Masternode gaming was identified as a risk in a security review and a lot of strengthening against this was done.

However, its virtually impossible to attack the masternode network to increase payments to your node.  Thats just not how payment selection works.

1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: February 27, 2015, 08:58:58 AM
I have read every page on the Darkcoin thread.

Stop speculating and provide some evidence.
You can always read the thread you are currently wiring in...
but them darkcoin fanboys dont read, right? Coz you are used to 4000+ posts threads and also reading is ghay, right?

Go on Cnerd, summarise it for those of us who do not like to read.

There was an instamine, Evan has all the coins, he is scamming us, Darkcoin is easily breakable...have I missed anything?
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: February 27, 2015, 08:53:51 AM
You are InternetApe!  Kicked off the team and sold all your coins cheap and you're pissed off about it.
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: February 27, 2015, 08:52:30 AM
If Evan has 2 million coins from the instamine, why does he buy extra coins from the community for himself and family members?  I nearly sold him 10,000DRK a few months back but somebody else beat me to it.

Because he cashed out a % and has the $ to buy back if he chooses? Also realize that he has to make it seem like he has trust in darkcoin. All publicity. You should really read the beginning posts on the Darkcoin thread.

Also, you do realize that Evan started working full day hours on Darkcoin right? How do you think he does that? His pay from the instamine allows him to work on darkcoin full hour work days.

I have read every page on the Darkcoin thread.

Stop speculating and provide some evidence.

Update on my bitcoin solo mining lottery:

I've been solo mining at 4GH/s for 30 days now with no found blocks.

During that period, I have won Ģ110 on the national Lottery.

I will find a block, I will!

Just a quick note on the usage of AWS for masternodes.  AWS accounts for less than half of masternode hosting now.  The community started to branch out some months ago.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The TRUTH about Darkcoin: ZERO Anonymity, EASY DOS attacks, & Amateur code base! on: February 26, 2015, 09:49:19 PM
This thread is gold to be honest.  I'll bump this in 6 months if nobody else has and we'll see what is what.

Most of the FUD is out of date, incorrect or just lies.  Why not pick on the real shortcomings of DRK?  Dark supporters discuss these issues openly and the dev team to do list gives a few more pointers towards real (fixable) problems.

Problem is that the truth is not inflammatory if everybody agrees with it and the issues are being dealt with.

1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: February 26, 2015, 07:59:03 PM
what? 2million, 2,000,000 coins were instamined in less than 1 day. Thats more than 5% of all darkcoins that will ever be made in the hands of 1 or 2 people.

I believe there were more than 1 other person mining the first day besides me.

youre lying. i was at xcoins(darkcoin) very beginnings with cryptohunter and never saw you. there were less than 20 people mining on the linux release with evan and internetape having by far, the highest hashrate and gaining the most coins. Evan knew that the majority of people use windows, and purposely made a linux only release so he could get most of the instamined coins.

and changing your posts from critisizing darkcoins beginnings(like you did) is stupid as every post is recorded on a seperate website that scans bitcointalk.org

Pls, im not some noob, dont try to lie and bullshit with me, youre gonna end up embarrassing yourself and darkcoin even more.

Of course I know about the instamine..it is well established.

I am saying that any claim that the devs are hoarding the instamined coins is unprovable bullshit.  Reveal who you are, provide some evidence and maybe people will take you seriously.  Sign out...log back in with your normal BCT account and take it from there...what have you got to hide?

Why do you feel that you have to hide your identity?  Your claims would have much more gravitas if you revealed who you are.  Somebody might actually believe you!

Lol what? you tryna troll?  go look at darkcoins blockchain if you want to see the instamine or look at the beginnings of darkcoins thread on the alternate bitcointalk site that records all posts permanently(so you can see the true content of the posts even if they were edited later on)

Yup.  Internetape was one of the beneficiaries of the instamine but he sold up early on at stupidly low prices.

If Evan has such a huge pile of instamined coins that he got for free why does he buy Darkcoins from the community and on exchange?
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: February 26, 2015, 05:56:05 PM
Honestly guys, if raising 6 months old threads back from the grave is your idea of a ''well-organised'' troll attack on Darkcoin
and its community its rather pathetic.
The problem with darkcoin fanboys is that they think everything is a "troll attack"... which is kinda funny, when you think of it, because they generate 10 times more spam and useless comments than the trolls

Seriously, type "Darkcoin" into twitter and probably 90% of posts are nothing but spam retweets by sock accounts.

You do your research on twitter?  Lolz!
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - MintpalJustice.com - Report Missing Funds on: February 26, 2015, 05:43:07 PM
Ferdeous should repay people from the proceeds of the sale

he  alledgedly handed over everyones coins and cash to a "mystery thief"
who proceeded to steal the fucking lot almost immediately  .........

ferdeous gets to cash out nicely before the robbery ......its just all too convenient

This stuff is deeper than it may appear.  Still don't believe any of this for a second.  Convenient funds were collected for "the Moolah case", and yesterday, to clear the air a bit, finally it is stressed that everyone should be focusing on their own cases and their own proceedings.  There is a bigger picture here.  Something is missing from this story, still.  Roll Eyes

Focus on your own cases but no ready information on the contact details to instruct your solicitor with.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - MintpalJustice.com - Report Missing Funds on: February 26, 2015, 05:15:10 PM
Well, whatever happened, the coins I lost on Mintpal were on the way to be sold to pay for something really important for my family and the loss still affects us.

Hi,

I'm having a difficult time finding this info.

I want to bring a civil claim against Ryan.  Does anybody have any contact details for him?  Email address/home address/solicitor's address...any way that my solicitor can make contact with him.  Anything would be helpful...

You guys seriously trying to explain his absence or it it just denial phase? Cheesy
I think you don't really believe in everything you say here. Dev left and abandoned you. He would have said he is going for a holiday or something and will be offline for a few days. He obviously knew it would crash the price.
It does not fucking matter if he is chinese or from Uruguay. If he still cared about this coin he would have said something long time ago. Wake up.

Unless he has social anxiety lol

I was thinking about this the other day.  This does follow he pattern of somebody with a depressive disorder or anxiety.

For what its worth, I don't think "lol" is an appropriate way to end that sentence njs811.  There is nothing funny about it.

No sorry, perhaps I havenīt explained it very well

I was installing Drakeīs Darkcoin balance app, adding my MNs and my home wallet and when I have finally added my home wallet my balance was less than expected, exactly 70 DRK less, I  have checked blockexplorer to know what can be happened but there is no trace of transactions since 10/02/2015 so I assume my funds are gone.

What I donīt know is how can it be possible? Has been my wallet compromised? I have a very strong passphrase but the reality is the funds are gone atm. When I get home I will check the wallet but in the meantime I have to wait nearly 3 hours and Iīm a bit anxious because I donīt understand what is happening.

Regards.

If the DRK is still shown at the correct address in the block explorer, they are by definition NOT gone.

Sounds like this 3rd party app you're using is either broken or you've made some mistake with it.

Iīm using the official Darkcoin wallet download from Darkcoin.io, problem is funds are in the wallet but not all funds, there are around 70 DRK less. Seems I will have to wait to go home to know what is really happening.

Thanks again for your help to all of you.

Regards.

PD. By the way if someone has compromised my wallet and made a transaction using darksend anonymized funds will I be able to see it through blockexplorer?

I am 99% certain that when you get home your funds will be safely in your wallet.  As other people have said, the missing 70DRK are probably in a "change address" which you haven't loaded into the Drake balance software yet.
