Look this shit happens. It sucks. Just think of it as your wife or girlfriend made you stay home and do housework for the last two days.

On another note I think a solid free roll or maybe a couple 1 chip buy in with 500 chips guaranteed tourny's would be solid.

Nice thought but that would crash the site.  I hear the new software is coming out next week.

I just tried SWC's website to see if it was working.  I ended up on a page that included the following:

What happened?
There is an unknown connection issue between CloudFlare and the origin web server. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.

Many months ago Seals said they left CloudFlare because they couldn't protect them from DDOS attacks.  So why are they still using them or have gone back to them?  Many people say CF is useless.

Here is what I have learned: Romanians are shady. Stay away!

Dear deadgiveaway,

First of all, I am sorry to hear this is the only thing you have learned and nothing from your actions. Life tends to put us in situations where we get to repeat mistakes until we learn from them. We all make mistakes, but some of us learn faster.

Second, please be aware that most people reading this local board, myself included, are Romanians.

I would like you to realize that such a strong statement as yours may hurt a lot of people who actually care about living in a fair world, about living among people that treat each other based on personal traits and personal actions, and not based on the faults of their nation, their ethnicity, their gender, their religious beliefs, their political views, and so on...

Unfortunately, statements such as yours are fairly common, regardless of who is the "prosecutor" and whom it "prosecutes" ... and such statements have been the root of a great deal of suffering throughout the history of mankind, to this day. You provide just one of the examples, sadly.

I am writing this not only for you, but for every one who reads these words. I kindly ask you not to fall victims to prejudices such as these and not jump to conclusions or take anyone's word for granted (not even mine) before judging for yourself. By acting this way, we would do ourselves and the world a great favor indeed.

Unless we start to look at each other individually and without prejudice, unless we manage to make the effort and try to look beyond what is superficial, we, as global neighbours, will continue to lie in this dormant state of consciousness and suffering will go on ... And we will all suffer: the ones who are prosecuted, and the prosecutors as well. Because everything comes back around.

I wish you all the best!

Thank you so much for this post.  Even more appropriate that it is Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.

Yea I saw it. Betcoin.

I guess you didn't.  I remember most of the reactions from a different forum.
Betcoin spins things in a overly positive light but that is their job.  I never saw disrespect.

I asked Bitcoin Reviewer why they rated BitsPoker so high especially giving them 4 out of 5 for financial security considering I couldn't withdraw and I had gotten no response from support.  They rated them that way partly because Cyrus was admin.  Well now we know he wasn't.  They said they would contact bitspoker.  Having not heard back I inquired again.  Bitcoin Reviewer was under the impression that all was OK because they received a reply to their inquiry on Jan 12 which said  "It's been taken care of."

That message came from the BitsPoker account here and seems to be the work of deadgiveaway.

"the work of deadgiveaway"

dude read the thread it's all out there that I was robbed and all my good intentions spat upon by everyone who want to hone in on blame rather than reality. I'll show you my reply to b!z:

"We're in the process of selling the website right now. I think last response I meant to say it is being taken care of. Sorry lots of stuff happening right now, however I don't think it should effect the review as we have turned off deposits during this transition. Buyer fell through today, we're in talks with others. Lots of trolls giving us a hard time but BitsPoker deserves a fair chance with a new owner. It will be a perfectly good site in the right hands."

I have no idea who the next owner will be, but I'm looking out for them and the players, as always. Even though many have been a bunch of real ungrateful hardheaded pricks.

Good look getting your withdraw from Cyrus, he's not a man of his word from what I've seen.

I have you on the withdraw list and I'm eager to find a buyer so we can process these withdraws and get the site into a new owners hands.

I have read the entire thread.  You think you meant to say?HuhHuhHuh?  People are not mind readers and instead go by what you actually say.

And as far laying blame on others for derailing the sale because of their accusations, it is your responses that mean more. Please consider this going forward.

There is another site that I won't play on. not because of the accusations of some of the players but because of the responses of the admin.

No answer to my krill question?

please state it again, i will gladly answer

I was asking about krill earned for tournaments as I couldn't find it on the website.  I emailed support and they responded.  My post about that is 3 posts before yours.

As far as disconnects, when this happens the pc client closes and I am prompted to send an error report.  This only happens when I am in a game, never when only the lobby is open.  It can happen once or twice an hour.  XP hard wired very fast intertubes.  It has been going on for months and when I contacted x a while back I got no response.  Whether or not I have detect disconnect selected or not makes no difference.

I had stopped playing for a while and recently came back.  Who knows for how long.  I have AA and there is a raise and a call in front of me, please don't disconnect PLEASE Undecided

Any timeline on the new client?

Cyrus,

They say the third time is a charm.  You said you would pay one more player.  I twice asked to be considered for payment.  Both times I was ignored.  I am asking you a third time.

We base our rating for financial security on a number of factors, such as the trustworthiness of the people behind the company, and how long it has been open for.

In the case of BitsPoker, it is run by a forum staff member. They have been open for a bit over half a year without any major complaints.

I believe withdrawals are done manually. I will contact them to see what's going on.

No response from you.

No change on your site even though,
1) Cyrus has not run it for a while now
2) BitsPoker is pretty much dead now pending a sale by the person Cyrus sold it to.

I still can't access MY btc.

Here is the reply I got from BitsPoker around a week ago. I was under the impression that they had already paid you.

Nobody has been paid.  I assume that the message you received was from the current admin aka deadgiveaway here.  That is who Cyrus had sold BitsPoker to yet Cyrus still owns the domain.  If you want to get an idea of whats going on there is a 300 post thread in the "local" section here under Romania.  Cyrus paid one player and offered to pay one more.  Twice I asked to be considered and he never responded.  The player that got paid had been attacking Cyrus and that stopped after he got paid.

z3Moons,  I am truly sorry you don't have a brother.

deadgiveaway, In the US there are no laws against people playing online poker except for Washington State.  I don't know about Utah, I believe anything and everything is illegal there. Roll Eyes

Dear BitsPoker, Since there is not much btc owed to the players it should not be difficult to give them THEIR btc.  Then I imagine it would  be easier to sell the site for a myriad of reasons.

Support emailed me back.  It is the square root of the fee rounded down to the lower tenth and multiplied by 2.  They said they are updating the promo page and provided me a link to the explanation which I can not navigate to from the main page.

A complaint?  There are several.  It ain't user error or my connection.

No answer to my krill question?
2478  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 19, 2014, 03:20:48 AM
The krill explanation on the Seals promotion page only mentions cash games.  I thought you received krill for tournaments also.  Do you and if so how is it calculated?

When I started there was no krill for tourneys now there is. Don't know how they calculate tournament krill but fyi you don't get rakeback for krill earned in tournaments just the ring games.

Do you mean you don't get RB for the tournament fees?

Yes I remember that they went from no krill to awarding krill on tournaments.  Doesn't make sense that they wouldn't have those details on the promo page.

Seeing that there isn't much in the way of support here I guess I will email them.

So, who owns BitsPoker, now?
50% Cyrus, and 50% the guy you sold your shares to?
He said he'd give me half of the eventual profits, which were none, as I and him stated previously. Does selling the site equal a profit in this case? That I don't know, nor have I said anything about it when he asked me what he owes me.
I don't want to push any lines here or be greedy about it, just want something fair for everyone involved(PLAYERS too!).
The money I refunded z3Moons from were indeed mine, not from the 50% of the profits... which were 0(I recall seeing somebody saying something about this earlier).

I also want to add that I don't know the amount he is selling it for or who that guy is. Again, there is not problem on my end about transferring the domain(wasn't a problem when deadgiveaway bought it either, as it has been discussed above).

LE: As per my understanding(as deadgiveaway included me in a skype group with him and this 'buyer'*), the deal will be made sometime this weekend.
*I've put buyer into '' because I can't vouch anything regarding him as I don't know him. No saying he can't very well be a great entrepeneur and a nice guy. As I don't think I missed replying to any questions addressed to me, I'll be going for the night really soon.

You had offered to do an additional refund besides the one you gave z3Moon.  I asked for consideration but you did not respond and then z3 put in a word for me as well.  I understand that the situation has changed but is still uncertain.  If I am unable to recover my btc from BitsPoker, does your offer still stand?
